Does Amazon.com not review what they sell?

I was shocked today to find out that Amazon dot com is selling this product:

The Pedophile’s Guide to Love and Pleasure [Kindle Edition]

Okay, I am not only shocked, but disgusted. This book is promoting sexual abuse of children and how to get away with it! Now some say it is freedom of speech (the book), however, I disagree. If you are promoting or encouraging a crime, your speech is NOT protected. It is like yelling fire in a crowed theater. Not all speech is protected. It also seems to me that it is bad business practice to allow such products to be sold on their site. It says they are ok with that product.

So, as for me, I will not purchase anything from that site until that book is removed. This book promotes crimes against children, who cannot protect themselves. Now, there is a guidebook on just how to do that. I will not buy from a Company that promotes this.

Idiots of the Day: Christopher Eugene and Michael Levi Hansen Jr. charged with abusing their grandmother

OK, these two idiots are my choice for Idiots of the Day and for the week. Once again another story about people hurting the elderly. And these two disgust me. More than I can explain. Just read the stories and you will understand. These two treated their grandmother so bad, it makes my blood boil just to read the words. I personally wish I knew someone in Salt Lake County jail right now to let them know why these punks are there. And most of all, I hope they don’t get bailed out.

Breaking News: Angie Dee Baker charged in the death of Beatrice Baker, who she was supposed to take care of, but did not; just let her die in horrible conditions.

As many of you know, one of my major pet peeves (for lack of a better term) are crimes against the elderly. I know this comes from my grandmother raising me. And if anyone had hurt her, I would have lashed out at them! She was the most important person in my life while I was growing up. I still miss her every single day of my life. Anyway! This woman, Angie Dee Barker, is a disgrace to caretakers. I believe she is a relative as well (update: she is – it was her husband’s grandmother), which makes this even more disgusting. She let this poor woman just die. No food, no medication, bed sores, filthy living conditions. What the hell is wrong with her? I cannot say how I really feel, as I would not be considered a lady anymore!

Collier County Jail has shown they are not humane

Here is a link to a post I made on my personal blog today (which I have sadly been ignoring). I hope you will read this and become as enraged at their actions as I am. One thing to remember, being in jail does not make you less human, for the most part. Not everyone is a predator, violent offender or a danger to society. And this woman is none of those.

Yes, another abandoned baby! What the hell is wrong with people?

What the hell is wrong with some people? This newborn was abandoned in an apartment building with only a blanket around her. And in Chicago right now, the temperature is about 19 degrees. This baby is so lucky to have not frozen to death. Thank goodness someone noticed the baby and called police. I hope that the parent(s) are located and prosecuted. This is uncalled for, especially when there are Safe Haven Laws. And don’t cry about there being too much snow and the weather there. The parent could have called the fire department or police department for help. They would have helped too rather than having the baby just abandoned like trash.

OK, another rant from me about stupid people

As many of you know, animal cruelty and abuse is another one of my pet peeves. And here is one that truly angered me. I love all of my pets and would never think of hurting an animal, my pet or not. It truly amazes me how inhumane people have become or are being taught to be. I was taught to be respectful to all living things, humans AND animals.
