Parole Opposition: Delton Thurl Dowthitt is up for parole for killing 2 young girls; Please help voice your opposition to getting released

Gracie Marie and Tiffany Elena Purnhagen

Father, Dennis Thurl Dowthitt and son, Delton Thurl Dowthitt, killed 2 young ladies, one was Delton’s ex-girlfriend, the other, her little 9 year old sister. Dennis was executed in 2001. Now, Delton has a parole hearing coming up in March. After reading about what happened to these girls, I know that Delton should not be allowed out of prison. He pleaded guilty and received a sentence of 45 years (plus 7 years more for trying to escape at a later time). A sentence WAY TOO LIGHT for what he did. He should have been executed as well, or even LWOP. What especially angers me is that he still brags about committing these murders. And every time he is up for parole (every 5 years), it only tortures the family and loved ones of these two beautiful girls. But I am hoping that he will not be released on parole, but have to spend every single day in prison that he was sentenced to. It would keep him in prison until he is about 68 years old, if I have figure it out correctly.

Here is my post on this heinous crime: Monsters Among Us: Dennis and Delton Dowthitt raped and killed 16-year-old Gracie and 9-year-old Tiffany Purnhagen *Dennis Thurl Dowthitt was executed for their murders; his son Delton Thurl Dowthitt sentenced to 45 years in prison and now up for parole*

Re: Parole Hearing for Delton Thurl Dowthitt, TDCJ Number: 00632108

Please DO NOT grant parole to Delton Thurl Dowthitt, TDCJ Number: 00632108. As a concerned citizen, I am writing to protest the projected parole of this convicted murderer.

On June 13, 1990. Dowthitt and his father, Dennis Thurl Dowthitt raped and killed 2 young girls, Gracie and Tiffany Purnhagen. Both eventually confessed and Dennis Dowthitt was executed in 2001. Delton Dowthitt received a very light sentence and is once again up for parole.

The heinous nature of the murders of these girls should preclude any consideration of parole for Delton Thurl Dowthitt. His actions have shown that he is extremely volatile and that he has no regard for human life. For this heinous crime, Dowthitt was sentenced to 45 years in prison but he sentenced the Purnhagen families and friends to a lifetime of grief and sorrow.

In the interests of justice, public safety, and to lessen the emotional trauma for the victim’s family, please consider giving Dowthitt a longer set off before any future parole reviews.

Thank you for your consideration,
Sincerely,

Members of the Alabama Board of Parole Hearings:
Re: Parole Hearing Planned for Edward A. Seibold, AIS# 105403, Hearing Date: November 8, 2017

Please DO NOT grant parole to Edward A Seibold, AIS# 105403. As a concerned citizen, I am writing to protest the projected parole of this convicted murderer.

On September 6, 1967, Edward Seibold entered the Sinclair home and proceeded to use a shotgun on the people in the home that he could find. He was obsessed with Cathey Sinclair, age 20. They had dated, but Cathey broke up with him after the summer of 1966, but he would not be stopped. He harassed this family over and over again, until he went there to shoot and kill all in the residence. At the end, killed 3 people, 1 adult, Sarah Elizabeth Sinclair, 18, and 2 children, Mary Lyn Sinclair, 9, and Mary Durant, 8. He also shot and wounded Juanita Sinclair, Cathey’s mother.

The heinous nature of the murders of these girls, and the continued harassment of this family should preclude any consideration of parole for Edward Siebold. His actions have shown that he is extremely volatile and that he has no regard for human life. For this heinous crime, Seibold was originally sentenced to death but it was later changed to life in prison but he sentenced the Sinclair & Durant families and friends to a lifetime of grief and sorrow.

In the interests of justice, public safety, and to lessen the emotional trauma for the victim’s family, please consider giving Seibold a three year set off before any future parole reviews.

Thank you for your consideration,
Sincerely,

Angela Dawn Fowler only received 13 years for plotting the murder of her husband, Richard Fowler, and setting it up. It looks like she is eligible for parole. I do not know when her parole hearing is, but there is a petition started to oppose her parole (it is not my petition). The link for petition is at the bottom of the link for a letter to the parole board. I hope everyone will sign it. She did not get as much time as she deserves, so she should have to spend every single day of that sentence in prison. It was because of her that Richard Fowler was murdered.

Angela Fowler parole hearing
Angela Fowler has a parole hearing on July 19. She received such a short sentence for arranging Richard Fowler’s murder, I do not believe she should be granted parole. If you want to help, there are two ways to let the parole board know. First, there is a page in the SC parole board website that you can send an email opposing her possible parole.

Deny Parole to Debbralyn C Holland, Offender #839387

kyle-holland

On the night of July 11th, 2010 five year old little Kyle Holland was put to bed in an upstairs bedroom “alone” and would never again see the light of day. His mother “Debbralyn Holland” claims to have put little Kyle to bed around 10:30 pm that night. She then gave him “a glass of chocolate milk” and “turned on the TV so he could watch cartoons.” Debbralyn checked on Kyle around 9:30 am the morning of July 12th and found him deceased.

A wolf hybrid dog, allegedly kept for protection, ran loose in the house that night. The wolf dog killed little Kyle sometime over the course of the night and proceeded to eat him. After finding her son dead, the mother did not call the police right away. Instead, she helped her boy friend of only 10 days–also the owner of the wolf hybrid–to get rid of marijuana plants in the home. Previously Debbralyn Holland allowed her 5 year old son to remain in the home with the animal, even though her handicapped son was repeatedly bitten several times on different occasions by the wolf hybrid.

Court proceedings revealed Debbralyn Holland was an active drug addict and would often leave little Kyle home alone unattended.
He was born with a disability, wore braces to help stabilize his walk. He weighed only 33lbs.

Kyle Holland was bitten on the head, face, neck, shoulder, chest, left leg and arms. Kyle’s thigh bones and much of the soft tissue were missing. His chest cavity was crushed, buttocks were gone to the point that his sacrum was gone, the right hip joint was partially present along with over 340 puncture wounds. Kyle Holland died a Horrible-Slow- Agonizing death, No one to rescue him, No one to hear his screams.

My name is Judy Finchum. Kyle Holland is my grandson. We loved him dearly and cherished every moment we had with him. He was the most precious child and he loved our Tennessee family. Kyle was living in Lincoln Park, Michigan at the time of his death.

Debbralyn Holland, age 29 at the time, was charged on July 13, 2012 with Child Abuse-2nd degree, Accessory after the fact to a Felony, Homicide-Involuntary Manslaughter. Debbralyn Holland was also charged on September 14th, 2013 with False Pretenses under $20,000.00.
Debbralyn Holland was sentenced 29 months to 15 years. She has since been up for parole and denied twice. Please sign the petition to keep Debbralyn C Holland, Offender #839387 in prison, therefore parole to be denied.

This petition will be delivered to:

Psycho For Love: Mark Alan Koper killed his pregnant wife, Tammy Crossley Koper, then dumped her body in a wooded area in another county; Now, he is up for parole again

dvawareness3

From Mark Alan Koper’s appeal:

On Saturday, March 10, 1990, Koper and his wife, Tammy, visited a state park in West Virginia with their 15-month old daughter, Bethany. Koper’s wife was six months pregnant. On their return from West Virginia, Koper turned onto a side road in Frederick County, Virginia, and stopped the car. Koper then killed his wife by shooting her in the back of the head, placed her body in the trunk of the car, and drove approximately 60 miles to a secluded, wooded location in Fauquier County, Virginia, where he deposited his wife’s body. On the way home, Koper stopped at a car wash and cleaned the trunk of the car. Koper, a weapons specialist with the United States Marine Corps, also interchanged parts of the gun with which he had killed his wife with parts from another gun.

The following day, Koper contacted the police at approximately 10:00 am and reported that his wife was missing. Koper told the police that his wife had left at approximately 8:00 pm Saturday night to walk four blocks to an IGA store, and she never returned. The police found Tammy Koper’s body on March 15. The police subsequently obtained a search warrant for Koper’s car and found a pistol and a pair of bloody boots. The police arrested Koper on March 16, 1990.

Mark Alan Koper is now up for parole. For all of those who want to join in protesting his possible parole, there is a letter below that you can copy and paste (there is also one you can download if that is easier for you – it is the last link). You can mail the letter to:

RE: Mark Alan Koper – ID# 183116

Dear Chairman and Parole Board Members:

On March 10, 1990, Mark Alan Koper murdered his wife, Tammy Crossley (Koper), who was six months pregnant, in front of their seventeen-month-old daughter, Bethanie. The couple had become involved in an argument while out for a family drive in Frederick County, Virginia. Koper claims that he accidentally shot his wife, as they struggled for his gun. But investigators revealed that Tammy was shot in the back of the head from at least three feet away. After he shot his wife, he placed her body in the trunk of the car and drove to Fauguier County, Virginia, where he dumped her body in a wooded area.

Koper then proceeded home to clean the car and clothing, and prepare dinner for his daughter, one of his girlfriends and her nine-month-old son. She ended up spending the night. The next day, Koper filed a missing person report with the Front Royla Police Department. Five days later, a man stopping to relieve himself, found Tammy’s body.

Mark Alan Koper plead guilty to First Degree Murder. He was sentenced to sixty (60) years in prison and an additional two years for felonious use of a firearm. Koper has served less than 25 years in prison and, because his conviction pre-dates Virginia’s Truth-In-Sentencing Law, he is eligible for parole once again. His ninth (9th) parole hearing is scheduled for March 20, 2014.

Mark Koper must be held accountable for his personal choice to murder Tammy Crossley (Koper). Because of his complete disregard for human life and the heinous nature and brutality of this crime, justice demands that this convicted murderer be denied parole. He must remain behind bars where he cannot again harm another innocent human being.

Please help Tammy’s family and friends by keeping her murderer behind bars and deny parole to convicted murderer Mark Alan Koper for the maximum time allowed by Virginia law.

Thank you for your consideration.

Pamela Sharon murder 8/20/1983 Great Neck, NY *Bruce Haims convicted of her murder, sentenced to 25 years to life in prison; He is up for parole now*

From Bruce Haims appeal:
The defendant admitted that he killed the victim by beating her over the head with a shillelagh. He admitted that after having spent some time with the victim at her parents’ home, he began to fantasize about compelling the victim to submit to sexual intercourse. As the urge to fulfill this fantasy became greater, the defendant decided to commit a forcible rape.

The defendant confessed that he prepared to rape the victim as she was taking a shower. He approached the master bedroom, arming himself with the shillelagh, which he intended to use as an instrument in the enactment of his violent fantasy. He lay in wait in a hall alcove, saw the victim come out of the shower, approached her from behind, and then began to strike her repeatedly over the head. He continued unrelentingly, eventually causing the injuries which led to the victim’s death, and only stopped because she was unconscious and covered with blood.

Bruce Haims is now up for parole. CONFIDENTIAL VICTIM IMPACT STATEMENT

Dear Members of the Parole Board,

Please DO NOT grant parole to murderer and sexual predator Bruce H. Haims. As a concerned citizen, I am writing to protest his release because society would not be safe with him wandering free.

Haims forfeited his right to freedom after he brutally murdered Pamela Sharon by beating her to death with a club. With more than 25 blows to her body, Haims inflicted unspeakable pain and suffering on Pamela and left the entire Sharon family to suffer with lifelong grief. A violent sexual predator poses a threat to all of society and should remain behind bars for his entire life.

Knowing what we know today about recidivism and about the threats posed by high level sexual offenders, I urge you to DENY PAROLE to Bruce Haims in the name of public safety.

Thank you for your consideration.

RE: Michael Croote – ID#GDC 608320

Dear Office of Victim Services:

Please DO NOT grant the release of convicted murderer, Michael Croote, into the Georgia Department of Corrections Work Release Program leading to Parole.

On June 24, 1990, Michael Croote shot his pregnant wife, Wendy, twice in the back of the head while she lay sleeping. This senseless act of violence ultimately lead to the death of their unborn child (7 months). Four hours later, Croote walked into the police department and admitted HE HAD MURDERED THEM, “because he was going to leave her and no man was going to have her”. There is no question of his guilt.

Croote received a LIFE sentence for feticide in the murder of his unborn son, David, as an autopsy determined he would have lived a healthy and normal life if his mother, Wendy, had not been murdered.

Because of Michael Croote’s complete disregard for human life, justice demands this convicted murderer be denied a work release program. This horrific act of violence was a personal choice made by Croote and he must continue to accept the consequences of his actions. Wendy and David do not get a second chance to live; they are gone forever. Therefore, Michael Croote does not deserve the privilege of freedom. Let there be truth in sentencing! PLEASE, do not release this convicted executioner to any programs leading to parole.

Parole Opposition: Dexter Terrell Coleman shot & killed Aron Michael Hagan and now wants parole

Aron Hagan
Aron Michael Hagan

On September 20, 1988, Coleman brutally murdered Aron Michael Hagan, while in the commission of robbing him. Coleman shot Aron three (3) times once in the head, once in the neck and then once in the back. Coleman then left his lifeless body slumped in the front seat bleeding to death.

Please help the Hagan family have some kind of justice. Dexter Terrell Coleman should spend his life in prison for the horrendous crime he committed. The Hagan family has to relive this tragedy every time he has a parole hearing. It is so overwhelming each time they have to go through this. But with everyone’s help, it will be for the better for society. He shot Aron 3 times and left him in his car to bleed to death, without any remorse. He chose to rob Aron Hagan and then chose to shoot him. These are not the actions of productive citizens or those who should be in society at all. Please help this family. Dear Board of Parole Hearing Commissioners:

Please DO NOT grant a parole date to convicted murderer, Dexter Terrell Coleman. On September 20, 1988, Coleman brutally murdered Aron Michael Hagan, while in the commission of robbing him. Coleman shot Aron three (3) times once in the head, once in the neck and then once in the back. Coleman then left his lifeless body slumped in the front seat bleeding to death.

On September 4, 2013, Aron Hagan’s family will, once again, have to relive the tremendously painful events that led to his brutal and senseless murder. Coleman’s violent and heinous actions not only took Aron’s life, but changed the lives of his family forever. Because of his complete disregard for human life and lack of conscience and remorse, justice demands that this convicted murderer be denied parole. Dexter Terrell Coleman made a personal choice to kill an innocent human being; all for personal gain, and he must continue to accept the consequences of his actions. He must remain in prison, so that he can never again harm another innocent human being.

I am adamantly opposed to, and request that you please deny parole to convicted murderer, Dexter Terrell Coleman for the maximum time allowed by State of California law.
