This tragedy has saddened and angered me. The victim, Janice Pitts, who was pregnant, had survived breast cancer twice. Then this happened, and for no reason. The defendant just stared straight ahead and kept ramming her SUV over and over. Then when she got out of her SUV, he ran her over and pinned her. Senseless. But when he went to court, one of his relatives said:

Reagan (a reporter) tried to speak with one of Green’s family members who were in court, but a woman only said, “No comment, Dewey is an awesome person.”

An “awesome person” does not kill a person, especially a pregnant woman who did NOTHING to deserve this. I do not see how he could be so awesome. If he was driving after consuming alcohol (it was said that he reeked of alcohol), he is not awesome. If he did what he is accused of doing, he is not awesome. He is a monster.
