It appears that the victim, Danielle Thomas, had a restraining order against Jason Bohn, who is a lawyer. After killing her, he put her in a bathtub filled with ice (probably to mess with time of death). He also used her cell phone to text her friends, but he used phrases she would never have used. He claims it was an accident (yeah, he got drunk and accidentally beat her and choked her) but he had previously made threats against her. As a lawyer, he should realize that his statements don’t add up.
