I usually don’t do this, but…

My kitty Stanley needs to have one of his legs amputated. He was a “self harming” cat, meaning he kept pulling out his fur. Well, he also started biting his leg and it became infected. We have tried everything (several different antibiotics and steroids) but nothing has worked, so the vet has said that this is the last resort. Unfortunately I cannot afford to do it myself. I have used all of my extra money on his vet bills and meds.  I am on a fixed income, which means I do not have the financial means to do this. So, unfortunately I need help. I would appreciate any and all help I can get. I love Stanley and do not want to put him to sleep. 😦

UPDATE: We took Stanley to a new vet, who said that his surgery could not wait, so she did the surgery without paying all of it. Stanley is doing okay, but he is not walking around much.
