Documentary: The murders of Channon Christian and Chris Newsom

This little documentary was done a while ago, but it is very good and gives the basics of the case and things that have happened since.

OK, it is what I expected. She has been found not guilty for all charges concerning Chris Newsom, but guilty of facilitation of murder for all charges with Channon Christian. And a theft charge too (for the ForeRunner). So, I don’t believe she is facing the death penalty now. But I think she can spend the rest of her life in prison. Sad, but it looks like she and her lawyers are smiling and laughing about this at the defense table. They may believe she got off easy, but not really. She still has lots of guilty verdicts and will be in prison for a very long time. The judge CAN sentence her to consecutive sentences making it impossible for her to ever be a free person again.

Third down, one more (Vanessa Coleman) to go. I wish George Thomas had also received the death penalty. I have a feeling that Vanessa may get convicted, but she won’t get the death penalty either. But at least George Thomas will never be in the free world again.

Update: Channon Christian and Chris Newsom murders *Lemaricus Davidson sentenced to death!*

I will do a real update this weekend, but I just want to announce that Lemaricus Davidson was sentenced to death today. JUSTICE SERVED today! The jury recommended death for all 4 counts of homicide. Funny thing, as with the Cobbins sentencing hearing, those who came to *defend* Davidson, left yesterday and were not there today. That is very telling indeed!

**UPDATE FRIDAY EVENING**
Lemaricus Davidson has been transferred to Riverbend Maximum Security Institution this evening and is now on death row.

JUSTICE!

The jury foreman is reading the verdict right now and so far he has been found guilty on all charges. There are I believe 46 charges, and they are only on 16, so far, all guilty! I will update this afternoon. I believe he is death penalty bound at this point.

I am currently watching this trial online and it breaks my heart to hear Channon’s best friend and her father testify. I will be watching this as much as possible, as this case is very important to me. I hope and pray that justice is served. All involved deserve worse than what the death penalty will give. These two young adults did not deserve what happened to them. The picture above is the cutest one of them that I have seen.
