So Jim Hood hired his wife’s killer and then murdered him after his wife was dead. He gets paroled in 2017? In Texas? Premeditated murder of two people usually puts the mastermind on death row or lwop.

Yeah, this is a strange case and he did not get what he deserved at all!

His mistake was hiring a meth addict to kill his wife. Bruce would always have that to hang over Jim’s head, & potentially bleed him dry. Also a mistake…not knowing Bruce was left handed. He should have invited him to a bar, & killed him in his car. Then have a pre-dug hole out in the sticks, ready to dump the body in, backfill the hole, & forget it ever happened.

My point is neither the killer nor the husband should get out of prison alive. His mistake? So you would be happy if he hired someone else and got away with it?
