Here you see a family photo. It looks like any happy family. But it is not. This was a family that was falling apart. Robert Fisher vowed that he would never divorce, as he was a “child of divorce” himself and did not want his children going through it. But his wife, Mary, was already planning on filing for divorce. Robert, a very controlling and cruel man, was not going to stand for it. Instead, he decided it would be his way. On April 10. 2001, he took matters into his own hands. He slit the throats of all of the members of his family (2 children: Bobby, 10 and Brittany, 13 and their mother). He also shot Mary in the head. Then, he blew up their home, so that their bodies would burn up, maybe thinking that it would cover up their murders. Robert has not been seen since.
To many people, the family appeared to be the perfect family: husband, wife and 2 kids, even a dog. A nice house in Scottsdale, AZ. He had a good job and had been in the Navy. Life should have been good for them, if not for his temper and controlling ways. Well, and his infidelity. But with all of this, he was adamant against divorce. He even said he would commit suicide before going through a divorce. And in my opinion, how he thought anyone would ever want to stay married to him is beyond me. He was so controlling it is mind-boggling. He would not let his wife paint the walls anything but white and only put up a few pictures. Homemade, craft items were not allowed (even the quilts her mother made for her). He was embarrassed that his son did not like to hunt or fish. They fought a lot, about money, sex, even about the toys the children could have. He was not physically abusive, but it sure seems like he was emotionally abusive. I find it interesting that he was afraid of the effects that a divorce could have on the children, but it appears that he did not mind the scarring his how behavior towards them and their mother would have on them. So, instead, he murders them, by slitting their throats and shooting his wife, who he claimed to love, in the back of her head. Actions speak louder than words.
Robert has not been seen for over 5 years now. At first they thought it was a good chance
that he committed suicide. But now, it is widely believed that he has changed his identity. How he is living, especially financially, is a good question. At the time of the murders, he withdrew a small amount of money ($280) and left all of the rest behind. Maybe he had a secret account? Or had cash stashed away. I am sure he planned this for a while, so he would have planned for having money.
If he is still alive, he will mess up. One day.

I worked with Bob at the Mayo clinic and he was such a great guy- I would have never thought he could do harm to anyone but he had a redneck qaulity about him that he would not tolerate anyone saying anything about his family- he biked to work often and the patients loved him- he was funny, caring and sensitive- I was blown away like everybody else to think he would harm his kids whom he worshiped- and funny he never talked about his wife- I worked closely with him for 5 years and he never once mentioned her- I don’t know what the hell happened to him to make him snap but we always thought he had that ability to snap!!!!!!!!!!

Police was able to trace David Green, one of America’s most wanted. He is now behind bars. I am hopeful Robert William will be caught in the same way, the day his luck gets over.

I find it interesting that the few bits of information I’ve gotten on him don’t seem to be repeated anywhere else. I have been interested in tracking this case, because he abandoned his car in the woods near Young. That isn’t very far from where I live. It’s kind of freaky to think he could be lurking anywhere from Payson to Show Low.
I also remember a few years ago that there was a claim that he tried to register at a hotel in San Diego. I only heard that once so I’m not sure how true that was.
I really don’t see how he’s managed to evade being spotted, unless he’s purposely gained a lot of weight, or his mother or someone else is hiding him somewhere.
He had some idiot friends that he “hunted” with. They probably know where he is.

Robert Fisher wouldn’t kill himself in a million years, he’s a conscience free psychopath. To kill a woman and two children and walk away, he’s a fungus that’s what he is. I’m a child of divorce too, I chose to stay and work at it for my kids- my life was for nothing if they don’t grow up to feel valued and noticed. Catch him and kill him slowly- he’d hate that.

It occurs to me that Fisher has some degree of intelligence and the idea that he had money stashed away is probably correct. Considering that he has some medical training I would consider the possibility that he has had plastic surgery, maybe in exchange for working at a medical facility for a few years at a reduced rate of pay in another country. Then he could have come back after creating another identity. If he has had plastic surgery then maybe even the scars on his back were removed and his tooth pulled that had the gold crown on it and a false one implanted. Look for a medical technician working at a clinic in New Mexico or Florida about the correct age who keeps to himself and nevers talks about his past.

The picture at the bank atm didn’t look like him in my view.
And if there were other women, how do they know one of them didn’t kill his family or pay to have them killed.
Maybe have seen too much TV, but I haven’t seen how they believe he did it except they haven’t found him.
Yet, on what basis could he believe they wouldn’t immediately believe he did it.

Robert IS a peice of SCUM!!!! He DID kill his Family. my mother grew up with Mary in scottsdale. in church. my father was a friend of his and attended their wedding. Robert was a troubled man and not many people knew it. he hid it well. if you know anything about their relationship then you know he was a violent man, and snapped one day. He just snapped. i can only pray and hope that the family and friends of the victims get the justice they DESERVE!! i hope he dies a painful death. and hope he gets caught, i pray he gets caught. mary brittney and jr were amazing people from my understanding they didnt deserve this. i pray for their family often and only hope justice will be served. rip mary, brittney, and robert jr. and may the Lord bless your family!!

Jeez what did his mom, dad and cousins do? I agree he is being brought in and yes maybe he was gay, but regurdless I wonder why Mary was seen after the murder. Who identified the bodies? Where is the dna? If they have the dna of the children, then I believe they will have him very soon! I think he will die in prison either waiting trial or at armageddon. But rumour has it that he fakes a southern accent now. I think his day is sooner than later coming!

I have met Robert Fisher. I live in Council Bluffs IA. I met him in the morning on Christmas 08. I also remember him from 2000. I met him and his girl while I was working at the Twenties Showgirl Night club in Omaha NE. Robert and his girl “Summer” abducted me from work and took me to an apartment and violently raped me. I was too scared to tell the police. I have been seeing him lately in Council Bluffs IA. Catch that evil man.

I had never heard of this person or the case, until some years ago when a man came in where I worked to get prices and place an order. Everything seemed normal at first, but then he started acting like he was nervous. When I asked for information, especially a phone number he became more nervous, it was obvious he didn’t want to tell me anything. I had a real bad feeling about this guy. I knew something wasn’t right. He never came back. Anyway, not long after that I still had a bad feeling about this guy, I started looking at various law enforcement sites and came across the most wanted and I seen his picture/video. I am so sure that the person I saw was this Fisher guy, there is very little doubt in my mind. I’ve always looked at the site occasionally over the years to see if he had been caught. Which, after I seen his pic, I did call the FBI and told them everything and that I really think this guy is in Greenville, KY. However, the person I talked to really didn’t seem to be interested. I came across this site when I was doing my usual check to see if he was still on the run and after reading this, I’m even more sure it was him that I met. The description that some used was a redneck quality, hunting/fishing…etc. That would completely fit with the Greenville, KY area, which is where he said he stayed. Also, when I met this person I believe to be Fisher, the only location that he would give me as far as an address was the flea market in Greenville. This town would be the perfect place to hide if your on the run. However, the earlier post with a siting in IA should be taken seriously, considering what he did to her, I’m sure she would know him if she seen him, I just hope you have the courage to report him if you see him again!

I’m retired, nothing else to do. So, I’m thinking, what an easy way to make 100K just by finding this scum bag?.
But, I have a few questions :
(1) Where was the dog found ? Near the SUV, in the SUV, Deep in the woods, around the caves (?) ???. Was the dog chained or roaming around ? did the dog look like it was starving or thirsty?? Remember, this guy loved his dog more than his family…
(2) He had bought a water purifier. DID he take it with him ?
(3) Any males going missing in the county around the date of Fisher’s desaperance ? (ID takeover).
(4) Any John Does found in the area around this time ? (Again ID takeover)..

almost every single person that has decided to post a comment on here, also decided to take it upon them self to claim that they knew Robert William Fisher… Now i live in Phoenix, az. about 20 minutes from the house that his family was murdered in. whether or not he is absolutely guilty, is not for you close minded lazy unemployed individuals to say. i think it is so horrible that his wife and kids were so brutely murdered, but why would a guy kill his kids like that? you would have to hate your kids so much to slice their throats. anyway, im involved in the local law enforcement(refuse to say which) and im also a private investigator. there are so many outcomes to the events that took place. so as much as i hate who ever did this to his kids, and have helped/ing with this investigation, dont point your finger. and get a job

Fisher looks very different in his family portrait from the photo taken by the surveillance camera at the ATM machine. Has anyone checked to make sure that the family photo wasn’t touched up at the time they ordered, or whether Fisher jutted out his jaw to look different. In other photos he has a receding jaw line that gives him a weird facial appearance. I wish someone who knew him in real life could comment on this. There is a picture of Fisher’s deceased father on the internet. He has a V-shaped torso the same as Fisher, with a very narrow waist. His son’s v-shaped torso also shows up in a photo taken of him with his wife and children. My heart goes out to the bereaved grandparents. They were so good to him and look how he repaid them.

He’s alive and well. The FBI will know where he is tomorrow when I call.
He lives under an assumed name with his wife of eight years and two stepsons. His prize possession is still a Ford truck. He lives in a very isolated area where he spends his time hunting, fishing, and riding 4 wheelers. He is a loner who very rarely ventures into public places. He claims he has no family as they were all killed in accidents. His back injury keeps him from working but doesn’t seem to slow down his hobbies any.
His wife is considering leaving him. I don’t want her and her kids to end up like his first family. Stay tuned, this will be in the news.

I have a person of interest who looks similar ( an aged ) Robert Fisher. I have several photos for anyone interested in looking at them ( law enforcement, FBI) This man, if him has a different name and works in the medical field. He has all characteristics, body, looks, facial features, hairline, gray hair now, loner, no back ground, not married, moved to area in 2002, no mortgage, ( I have investigated who I think may be Robert fisher, using this other mans identity through the clerk of courts and there are no records of him except one ticket in 2002 while driving a 1992 chevy in unsafe condition) Maybe that is all he had in 2002, but he OWNS free and clear expensive property and considering his medical job, if this is him, it does not mesh.

I would like to know if anyone knows when he moved to Tucson, Az and why there are no records of him or his father William online from New York? Also does law enforcement have his DNA or the DNA from his kids? They let a guy who looked like him go in Canada after running his prints….Duh…. medical people change fingerprints of crooks all the time, DNA doesn’t change! Why doesn’t the Canada story read… “the man who looked like Robert William Fisher was released after the kids DNA proved to NOT match the look alike individual”????????

Robert Fisher is still alive. The only thing i can tell u is that he is in jail at this time we are still waiting for the FBI to call us back to see if it is him. He has been in Oklahoma since July 5 2011 staying with my son i have a recent picture of him and everything about Fisher this guy is just like him he has lied about his name well his last name, his name is Robert but goes by Billy, he has been in jail for 1 week and 2 days now. The scary thought is if it is Fisher he was living with my son and his 2 babies and girlfriend, he was always on my kids about being good he has told me that he has 13 kids and that his parents are dead and that he has been married 3 times and divorced 3 times, this also had back problems well theres alot i could tell you but i wont for now. wish i knew his family like his parents, sister or Marys family i could send this pic i have of him to see if it is him or just to talk to them

They’ll never catch this man as he is dead, you’re telling me he only made it 100 miles in 10 days? Anyone can make 100 miles in only a few hours, he got cornered in and walked into the woods and killed himself. What did he do for those 10 days before they found Mary’s SUV? For food? Water? etc.? He’s dead, he had no friends and no one that would have hid him. I wish they would find a body so this can be put to rest.

I don’t believe this man killed himself nor do I believe he is still alive either. What I think happened is he walked deep into the woods and got lost, he didn’t kill himself on purpose; it happened naturally. Look up Garrett Bardsley, different scenario but this individual vanished into the woods and only had 15 minutes ahead of the search team. It goes to show you some things just never get closure whether it’s Robert Fisher, Garrett Bardsley, or anyone else that has vanished without a trace. For the Bardsley search they had hundreds of searchers that combed the forest floor for a several mile radius and didn’t find a single clue. Only God himself knows the answer to these mysteries. Robert Fisher’s bones are somewhere in Tonto National Forest, whether it’s a cave or sinkhole or buried somewhere under leaves, etc. Quote me on these words, he will remain on the FBI Ten Most Wanted list for decades to come without ever being found.

i have yet to report it because I am checking the validity of what was told to me. intrestingly enough a friend and i were driving and we saw the electronic billboard for Eric Toth. I then made a comment to my friend saying that guy is fucked up, went on to tell him about my intrest in the top ten list and also preceded to tell him about my intrest in finding this scumbug in paticular,Described fishers story and by the end my friend was completly stunned. almost to the point of being short of breath. Goes on to tell me about a old creepy guy that was attempting to party with him and his buddies over st. patricks day and that shortly after he had kicked the guy out of the hotel party , agents of some sort, showed up and advised my friend and all the people at the party to stay away from that old guy as he is a criminal on the run..

There was an unidentified deceased male found in March 2006 in Lincoln County, Missouri. The characteristics seem to be similar, but some differences as well. Similarities is the appearance of severe back problems, a gold crowned tooth, age suspected and somewhat similar looks. Differences are the suspected weight and height (but these may be incorrect). Can you possibly provide a shoe size? From back surgery, was there equipment placed in back? You can look this case up online.
