Carnival of the True Crime Blogs LX

ctc60.jpgThis week is my turn to host the Carnival of the True Crime Blogs. And this week there are some great entries for you to read!

First up is The Slabtown Chronicles, a blog about crime in Portland, OR. This is an interesting post about a series of killings that happened about 16 years ago in the Olympia, WA area. Sudafed Killings

Next we have The Crime Scene Blog, that writes about crime as it happens. One of my favorite blogs. This post is about the Morey Family murder in Fishkill, NY. A very heinous crime indeed. Family of Five Murdered and Burned In Their Home

The Cellar is reporting about the new charges against Joseph Duncan, for the kidnapping of 2 children from Idaho and the murder of one of them. This is the news that so many people watching these events have been waiting and hoping for. I personally only hope that the Feds do not bow and give in to a plea deal instead. Feds Seek Death Penalty

Since Sin City is one of my very favorite movies, the next entry is one I love! It comes from the T.O. Crime Blog and is about Robert Pickton, the murderous pig farmer out of Canada. The Pickton Farm: Sin City

Home Sweet Home brings us the terrifying story of Jerry White, an Indiana man who allegedly kidnapped his former girlfriend and their 4 children. There had been an Amber Alert raised for the children,as authorities believed they were in grave danger. Extreme Danger

Steve Huff is a ”True Crime Blogger” who’s name has become synonymous with true crime blogging, gaining celebrity status on many fronts, and is the subject of this week’s Blogger Interview, giving you an inside look at the person behind the blog. Interview with Steve Huff

Next we have The Year Round Blog, which chronicles 19th Century crime. We have 3 wonderful entries from this blog this week: First, the story of Marguerite Dixblanc MURDER’S SCARLET THREAD. Then, the story of Joseph LaPage VICTIM OF OPPORTUNITY. And last, but not least! The story of the murder of Patrick Moore IN A LONELY PLACE: THE DEATH OF PATRICK MOORE

Next we have an interesting story about “a girl’s best friend!” DIAMONDS. 🙂 Although the story is not a warm fuzzy type story. If I ever want any more diamonds in my life, I will not be letting my hubby read it! The greatest story ever sold is a fantasy covered in blood.

Next up is a story about a crime we hear so much about: identity theft. A little bit different take on it this time! Crime and Poetry: Part Three (The Dream)

missingandabducted has brought us a disturbing story about 2 Maryland teens that are missing. The search appears to be going nationwide now. They have been missing since Jan. 20. It sounds a bit ominous to me, unfortunately. Rachel Smith 16, Rachel Crites 18: Mont. Co. Police Search for Missing Girls

Next up is Lost In Lima Ohio, who blogs about sexual predators in our society. She brings us the story of a first grader and what happened at school. Something all parents need to check out. How Safe Is Your Kids School?

Next,  The Trenchcoat Chronicles brings us the story behind the 2 teens involved in the school stabbing last week. Another senseless tragedy between children in our schools. A Tale of Two Teens

OK, last, but I hope not least, is my entry from my blog, My Life of Crime. One of my themes for this month is the death penalty. My entry this week is about the men on Death Row here in Utah. Utah’s Death Row

Well, that is it for this week. Some GREAT posts to read. Enjoy!!!
