Here are the rules: 1 - Please remember the victim(s) first and foremost. Do not come here to comment only on the offender(s). My blog focuses on the victim(s). Do not glorify the killer(s). No negative comments about the victim. NO VICTIM BLAMING. 2 - I will not tolerate hate filled speech, vulgar or derogatory remarks about a victim. I will remove comments that go against this. I will not remove comments just because they do not match my beliefs, in fact, I welcome them! However, that being said, I will remove those that I find offensive, argumentative just for the sake of starting an argument that does not add to the post, hate-filled speech, etc. 3-No comments in ALL CAPS, or CoMeNtS. Morey Family murder 1/19/2007 Fishkill, NY

Manuel A. Morey, 33
Tina Morey, 30
Manuel Morey, 13
Adam Morey, 10
Ryan Morey, 6

Imagine waking up in the morning and hearing sirens and helicopters in your neighborhood. Then imagine finding out that one of your neighbors entire family was massacred in the night. On your street. That became the real life nightmare for the people who lived at 203 Route 82 in Fishkill, NY. Their neighbors, the Morey family, were murdered and their house set on fire. Most neighbors did not really know the family, however, it was unsettling anyway. The Moreys were not a problem in the neighborhood and no one saw anything out of the ordinary there.

It has been reported that the children were “tortured and killed in front of their parents”. It has also been implied that this heinous crime may have been committed by an organized crime group, although investigators will not confirm that at this time, saying there is not currently enough information to prove that. Police also believe that the killer or killers probably have “struggle” wounds received during the commission of the crime, so they are checking out hospitals and clinics in the area to see if anyone came in for treatment. They also are asking for the public’s help in solving this horrific crime that has affected the entire community.

  10. i knew adam very well because he was on my bus and in my class. Him and i were really good friends. I first met Adam when he came into my fourth grade class because he had just moved here. I kinda got a crush on him. Then when we were in the same fifth grade class we were both pretty happy. We would sit together on the bus and listen to his music. And then this whole thing happened. Even today i miss him. i will never forget him or his great family. R.I.P.

  11. It was Rt. 52, not 62.
