I am cheryl’s sister, Lolita, let me start by saying thankyou and a big hug, thankyou, for speaking for the people who can no longer speak for themselves, cheryl was beautiful, talented, and very loving… it is a disgrace that the killer runs free in this case, there is a sizable reward and yet her friends or no one will come forward, people who know what happened in this case, and choose to be silent, shame on you and you know who you are…. thanks again for posting my sister’s case, she will have justice one day, and it will be because of people like you who take the time to be her voice.. sincerely, cheryls sis

Connie, This is Hope. Remember me? You know I was in prison when this happened or I would have been there. Cheryl was a VERY dear friend. I have thought about her alot through the years and will never forget our times together. I miss her! Life is a trip. Things seem so unfair. I really don’t know what to say except to let you know her memory lives on forever in my heart and my memories. Take care and if you ever need to talk Im here. Love Hope Bell

Im from Hot Springs myself and i know it can be a rough place at times but i never knew that it got this bad. I didnt know Cheryl but shes amazingly beautiful. Im only 17 years old i was doing a random search about Hot Springs and i came across this. Im soo soo sorry. If i could do anything, i would. I know it happened some years back but the love for one another can never be forgotten. God bless Cheryl, her friends, and her family.

She was devistated when she heard what happened to you. You were in her thoughts. She was really looking forward to the class reunion in 2003,but,she never made it. Hello! I too have an unsolved murder here in Hot Springs. My Best friend and also cousin was Murder in her home in 1993. Her name was Virginia (Ginny) Louise (Hall) Williams. She was a beautiful vibrant 24 year old single mother of two boys! Nothing has ever really been done about her case! I still to this day hurt like I did when this first happened. I had just gotten off the phone with her and she wasn’t expecting any company that night! I don’t know what to do but I am ready to learn. Anytime I talk about her murder, I get the warning “Just leave this alone Leslie, we don’t want you to end up like Ginny!”

This is Doris and Ginny was my first cousin, and we loved her very much, both of her boys have missed so much by not having their mother, they are both orphans now that both of their fathers are dead also, I often pray that her murderer comes to justice one day. I believe these horrible people will get what is coming to them one way or another. They can’t run or hide from God. It doesn’t help the pain or loss, and the lives that have changed because of their hateful act. I feel that the police could have done so much more. God bless anyone who has lost someone so senselessly. Thank you.

21 years later and still nothing. I keep contacting the detective handling Ginny’s case. I give him info I have heard or remember. Still nothing. I keep in contact with her youngest son. He desperately wants his mothers murder solved. He was just a baby when this happened so he has no memory of her. Only what we tell him. I can’t go a day without feeling smothered by this pain. I always feel like I’ve lost something and I will run around the house driving myself insane and then I realize I lost my one true friend! My Ginny! No matter what there will be no closure because nothing will never bring her back to us! She honestly was and will always be one of a kind! I’m so lucky I got to be apart of her world. If anyone reads this and knows and knows anything about her case plz contact me or Garland Co Sherriff Dept. Thx for reading!

I am so sorry to learn of your loss… I have been researching many ways to investigate an unsolved murder, and I feel like I know Cheryl by the information shared on these sights. I am so sorry, and I understand your pain. I was reading, praying, hoping, then just trying to let the pain go (a family member of mine was also murdered), and then I came accross this sight. I will never stop, and with the support you have, Cheryl’s killer will be found. I wish you and your family continued hope and all of the wonderful memories you had with her to sustain you.

Cheryl and I grew up together, Church and same class in school since we were toddlers. As most folks do, we didn’t see each other except in passing after high school. But I always considered her a close friend. I pray for her always.
Connie, Toby, I knew you 2 the best out of her family and although my prayers are with you all. I want you both to know I care and won’t ever forget.

Connie has graciously given me all of the information to work on this case and try to find the person that did it. If the witness that stopped to get directions was much of a man not to mention much of a person he would come forward. If not I will find you and then we will find out what you saw. If Stuart reads this or any of his friends reads this let it be known I am coming for you too. I will get answers. I have friends that are retired law enforcement working on this and theyhave friends in Virginia working on it. I have also written AMW again and also Dateline NBC. There is a saying for people. You can run but you will just end up tired. Read between the lines and turn in the information you have. Come forward and make it easy on yourself.

Seems to me that if the only witness Tony Curtis Buie would come forward then maybe someone would be questioned about this. Anybody with ties to Stuart and all of his dealings probably know who came from Memphis and did this. I wonder if you can go to the Sheriff Dept in Garland County and find all the records since Stuarts dad is the Chief Deputy and heads the Administration Division where records and files are kept. Just a thought. Seems to me there is a lot of dirty dealing going on in Hot Springs and Garland County.

I will spend the rest of my life looking for tony buie, if you read this, i am coming, you need to give my family the answers they deserve u coward…..how can u live with yourself, u see u didnt escape, god knows where u are, hes watching, and eventually, u have to face him, ray if your listening, i know what u did, ur worse than the guy who shot her, having lost a son, u should know…..god takes care of everybody, you may escape here, but not up there…stuart couldnt have done withour u!!!

The retired law enforcement people working on this recevied a call from someone on Arkansas telling them to stop asking questions about this case and then hung up. When the number was call backed they received a pre-recorded voice message.

Ive been reading all of these stories and I cant believe what has happened since i last talked to you. The fact tht a dirty cop is involved makes me want to throw up….hes a cop playing god and he will go to hell….as for Stuart, Tony and esp Ray i pray that god has no mercy on their souls….i am followin the case very closely and i will do whatever i can to help u finally get the answers that your family deserves. I have written AMW and Nancy Grace again. No response. I guess since a dirty cop with a punk ass son that deals drugs is involved they don’t want to do anything about airing it. I may be on the way to the Pakistan/ Afghanistan border with a team of men. We might have to pay Stuart and his croanies a visit before we go. Keep looking over your shoulder.

Seems as though some wording has been changed on a couple of websites for Cheryl. Cheryl,did not deserve to be murdered. We all know what happened,no matter if Cheryl knew what was going on or not!But, that is exactly what would happen if her killer is found! All would be blamed on my daughter. She only wanted to live a normal life! I know!

Buzzy Cooper, Frank Cooper III, is in prison in Florida. There is a Tony C Buie in Malvern Ar. Dont know if it is the same Tony. Stuart is nothing but a punk!! He is around doing the same thing as always..hiding behind his daddy!!

The witness ‘tony’ is in now way connected to Stuart, and gave all the information that he knew to be true on many occasions to the police. All you faceless toughguys supposedly investigating this case need to get facts straignt before you start smearing peoples names. Cheryls family knows this not to be true also.

I am writing this for Tony Buie. This is directed to Robert Barnes. Tony states: I don’t like someone accusssing me of being a coward or not trying to help someone in need. I did everything I could, the best I know how. Not only is Cheryl a victim in this situation but I have to live with this this nightmare every day for the rest of my life. It is digitally tatooed in my brain. Now my family is at risk. If you are indeed a professional as you would like everyone to believe, you would know putting out names of witnesses can endanger their live and the lives of their families. It is a very sad situation for everyone but you are only making it worst. If something happens to my family it will be on your head, you will answer to GOD for that.
For the people reading this blog, get the facts straight before you take the word of anyone. Robert Barnes could acutally be the bad guy trying to gain information for his own distructive use. IS HE A CRIMINAL or a good guy??? Please be aware in the future that everything you read on the internet is not true and some information can put people at risk. Cheryl death is a terrible thing that happened but why must the other victim, myself, have to continue to relive this horrible day over and over again and again. I would like to add a comment on this subject on the behalf of the tormented witness that did all he possibly could in this situation with a gun pointed at him and only a phone to dial 911 and god to protect him. First of all, Slander and terroristic threatening is a crimnal offense, and any ex law enforcement officer should know this, even a self proclaimed ex-marine. Tony did all he could to help catch the worthless peice of $#*% that committed this crime. He “IS” the one that made the phone call and spent countless hours at the police station trying to identifiy the perp. Tony would very much like to meet Mr. Robert Barnes to help him with his investigation, if this is what Mr. barnes is really doing,(investigating). Contact Detective Chris Hayes at Hot Springs Police Dept., I am sure he would set up a meeting place safe for Mr Barnes. And if possible be present for the meeting between both parties. I hope nothing bad happens to my close friend Tony or his family because of your ignorance Mr. Barnes, if it does, then I reckon it will be between you and God. Try to be alittle more professional next time and not endanger the lives of the only cooperating witness or any other innocent people associated with this matter or any other matter you are supposedly investigating. And if you(Mr. Barnes) are not what you say you are(an investigater) then you will be meeting Jessie James personaly.

Facts. I never said I was an investigator. Fact. I simply said I was looking into it. Fact. I have copies of all of the reports that would, key word would, be released by authorities. The people that did the investigating when I ask then too, not pay them, are all retired law enforcement in other states. So when yousay I slander, go look at the reports if they will let you. Sounds like the only ones complaining are the ones that are friends of Tonie, or ones that have names of cowboys from the old west and think they are smart. Whatever the case. I am done with this. It seems there are alot of people who are irritated about my daughter,Cheryl’s case. The witness’s involved with Cheryl’s case are in an on-going murder investigation. Their names are listed in newspaper articles and in police reports. I am sorry for the witness’s who are inocent,for they will be reminded time and again of this tradgedy. As my family relive it daily, we constantly think of the things that could have been done. But, Cheryl is gone,and we have to live our life without her. There are many private investigators working on Cheryl’s case,and will continue to do so. But, it does not help to threaten people and make ugly comments. This cannot possibly help find a killer. If I would have the help of the local police,I would not have to find an investigator to help me find the truth. Sorry to say,the police will not speak with me nor answer my calls. I am very glad to hear that someone will be able to get the police to talk about Cheryl’s case,for it seems to be a hush hush case. I have made many trips to the police,but,get turned away each and everytime. If as much energy is put towards finding Cheryl’s killer,as is wriitten on this website,maybe we would have justice served!

If you want someone who knows more than allowed to speak about and look for deputy OA Wynn at the Garland County Sheriffs Department. Also, do you not see the conflict of Shoptaw being at the crime scene of a woman his soon was directly involved with and bringing his wife with? Ray was at the crime scene within moments with Glenda, and then was involved with the investigation for one reason only. He should have never been involved with the CS investigation and it will be hard to find the paperwork with the conflicting information. Get OA to talk and you will make progress.

Mentioning O.A. is sending this woman in the wrong direction. To make accusations like that are not only false, but also unfair to Cheryl’s family. I personally know Mr. Wynn was very disturbed by the entire thing, mainly because he has a daughter was her age & they even looked a lot alike. It could have been easily been his daughter. He takes his job serious & has helped a lot of people. He is an outstanding police officer & has no problem making waves when it comes to telling what he knows. If he knew anything, he’d make sure that info got to the right people. Check your facts before saying stuff like this. O.A. Wynn is what police officers should be. Honest & diligent in solving crimes like this.

Toby Green is a horrible criminal & should be a suspect. He slanders everyone on the internet that tries helping because he doesn’t want this solved. He’s a delusional nobly that thinks he can slander a police officer & claim to have him fired. He retired with honor. You do need to get a life & allow this family closure. When you burned his family’s home, Toby, one of the main CID was a volunteer fireman & called in the midst of putting it out to let his daughter know. Everyone knows you’re obsessed.
