i thought this was very strange that this guy would kill his step children. and said that he was casting a spell. How weird!!!

I knew these two girls, they used to live in my town and my best friends little sister used to go to their house all the time. Now when i think about it i get sick thinking she could have been hurt. I hope that sick bastard rots in hell for sufficating and stabbing those poor innocent girls!

I think, in the end, what will be discovered is that a stepfather, molested, possibly raped, then killed (likely out of fear of being told on) his stepdaughters. Period. End of story.
No spell “gone wrong” (not sure what this means…that the girls got naked and magical forces caused a knife to lift up to stab them and his hands to strangle them beyond his control? huh?), no witchcraft, no accident, nothing else but the basest of stories that happens all too frequently.
I am a Neo-Pagan Wiccan AND a mother, and have been Pagan for 30 of my 43 years, and I have 2 sons, one in college, one in High School. And NO SPELL I know of hurts a child.
However, I have a Christian sister whose 2 daughters were abused and molested by their stepfather (she divorced him upon finding out about the molestation). And statistics show that in child abuse cases, where the mother is not the abuser or killer, that more often then not, boyfriends,& stepfathers are the one’s that cross the line and commit these crimes.
I understand that this killer’s excuse is newsworthy, merely because it is a novel one (though ridiculous, perhaps he thinks an “accidental killing during a religious event excuse” will get him less time then straight-forward “rape and murder”, or perhaps he’s bucking for an insanity defense) but please do your best not to fuel a frenzied and incorrect notion that Witches/Wiccans/Pagans are bad, more likely to go bad or more likely to commit such a crime, because that simply isn’t true. Thank you.

Not sure he was practicing when he lived here in SC…But am assuming so. Just met the “monster” one or twice and thought him quite strange!! Knew there were problems in the family….Unfortunately, just never realized how bad things were. Am heartbroke! And just wonder what other things they had to endure. Thank GOD they are in heaven where they are in peace!!

This is so pathetic trying to pass this off as a religious slaying involving a religion that does not use violence. Jeanine I agree with you, he is hoping for a lessened sentence on the basis of a faith he is not a part of to try and cover up a truly heinous crime. My opinion, death is too good for him. For those of you directly affected, those of you who knew the girls, I am so very sorry for the loss.

this has nothing to do with religion or faith. everyone needs to watch there children, know where there are 24/7, know who they are with, and think twice if not three times about who you AS AN ADULT are with and what you do in front of them. The children of this world are our most precious resource and if we can not take the time to make them safe we are LOST.

TC.. You are so right… always know where your children are at 24/7.. My girls say I am overprotective but I don’t care, God gave them to me for me to protect them and I will do that as long as God gives me breath.. I hate it that those girls had to endure that kind of cruel death and it breaks my heart but I know they are safe now.

These 2 girls were very close sisters and had very close cousins and no religion is not part of the crime and now he wants to plead not guilty and plead insane i hope that my soon to be ex brother in laaw rottes in hell and get every thing he deserves while in persion i hope they do to him what he done to my nieces they were taken to young and too soon and i just wished they were at my house then none of this would have happened to my family the girls were very very special girls to me and i loved them very very much and my 8 year old was very close to her 8 year old cousin and when people say its hard for an adult to deal with how do you tell your 8 year old daughter that she will never be able to play with her so very close cousin any more but will meet her in heaven with our lord jesus and when i told my daugter this she was so heart broke cause she lost her very close cousin and very best friend she stayed many nights with my daughter

There are crazy people in ALL religions. Christians and Muslims, etc., have killed their kids, too, claiming that some “God” told them to do it. I hope that people will stay calm and not blame this man’s problems on his religion. Wicca is a misunderstood and completely benign religion. Its core rule is “harm none,” and it clearly forbids any practitioner from hurting anyone, ever. Period. The man is insane and greatly disturbed. You would have to be, to kill anyone, especially your children. My heart goes out to the girls’ families and friends.

I just found out about these 2 lil girls. I knew Larry as a teen.
I am not surprised that he killed someone, however I always believed it would have been his Mother….she was a very sick evil and abusive woman. Larry ran away from home many times, tried committing suicide too. Every time the police caught him or he got out of the hospital he was given back to his mother. She should go on trial for murder too. It was the damage SHE did to Larry that led to this murder. The courts of San Bernardino County, the police out her and his Dr’s share blame in these 2 girls’ deaths.

i am related to Kendra and Alysha but didnt really know them that well.
I am their cousin andi will miss them with all my heart.
I have NO idea why that man did that them they did not do anything to him for that to happen.
They were so cute and I really appreciate what the fire department did for them they tried to save them but couldnt i will miss them!!!!!

My two precious granddaughters were tortured, molested, stabbed, Alysha’s throat was sliced, her neck was broken. Kendra’s arm was sliced down to the bone. The girls were then suffocated and the dirty bastard lit the house on fire trying to cover up his horrible crime. And for what? Cause his wife was going to leave him. That is what happens when you mess around with psyco assholes that claim to be the devil.
Parents, please be careful with your children. Know about the people with whom you entrust their lives.
Those two little girls were treated in a way that none of us should ever have to experience. God save their souls!

Kendra and Alysha used to be my neighbors. They were sweet, wonderful children who did not deserve this horrible tragedy. I can’t even bring myself to tell my own child (who was their friend) what has happened to them. Death is too light of a sentence for this horrible, evil man. He deserves anything that happens to him in prison, and he deserves to spend the rest of his natural life caged like the animal that he is. One day he will meet his maker, and justice will be served!!

If anyone who reads this has ANY idea that abuse might be going on, please, please PLEASE tell someone. Marla never said she thought anything was happening, but if someone around them had said something, this might never have happened.

i used to babysit alysha and kendra. they lived right next door to me in minnesota. they were just like my little sisters. i remember the camping trip we took them to nebraska with their mother and her boyfriend.. that sick bastard needs to be killed i hope a sick ass ” spell gone wrong” happens to him in prison. love ya kendra and alysha you will be remembered
