Suspected Killer on the Run Takes Alleged Teen Lover With Him

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (December 15, 2016) — Shortly after authorities spoke to John Blauvelt regarding the brutal murder of his wife, Cati Blauvelt, he went on the run, taking 17-year-old Hannah Thompson with him. For the first time on camera, Cati’s mom, Patricia Piver, reveals the pain of losing her daughter to a violent death, telling Crime Watch Daily’s Jason Mattera, “In the mortuary the man told us it took them five hours to fix her up to make her look presentable and it still didn’t look like her…just imagining what she must have been going through, the pain, what she must have been screaming for him to stop.” Because of Blauvelt’s alleged violent history, cops were worried that he could have harmed Thompson, telling Crime Watch Daily, “We want Hannah returned home safely. That’s our number one priority, and the capture, the safe capture of John Blauvelt.” In an exclusive interview with Crime Watch Daily, Thompson’s mother, Kristi Thompson, expresses the family’s horror over her young daughter being with a man 11 years her senior, saying, “My husband lost it when he heard…I mean he wanted to go to John’s house and confront him.” Hannah Thompson has been found safe in Oregon, but authorities have not released any details of circumstances surrounding her whereabouts over the last month.
