Many times people come here and defend murderers. I cannot possibly see ANYONE defending this guy for his actions. C’mon! He killed his own son so he would not have to pay child support. He is the lowest of the low. If you don’t want to pay child support, don’t procreate! Simple. Keep it in your pants. This poor child did not deserve to be killed because he was alive and needed to be supported.

This is a traggic event. I’m a parent myself and i can not began to imagine what the mother must be feeling. There doesn’t even need to be a trail. Why waste the tax dollars of taking care of him in jail. Let the family have him for about 1 hour and see how that works out.

OMG what a lowlife! He could have very well terminated his parental rights instead of his child’s life. I will never understand how the human minds works sometimes, and I will NEVER understand how a parent can murder a child. To think taxpayers (including the child’s family) have to pay for him to be in jail, how sad.

Let me tell you danny was A normal person until last week the mother caused this whole thing police do not seem to see this it does not make this crime right but I have known him for the last 4 years and it hurts me to hear that he could do somthing like this he was clearly
in another mind state driven by an evil force not sure what happen to him I tried to talk to him but would not say anything
He has clearly destroyed his life and he clearly needs to be removed from society as he knows it !

OH PLEASE! How is this the mother’s fault? Because the children were going to see her for Christmas? Is there something wrong with you????? The mother did not tell him to make the children walk 10 miles in a snowstorm or to just go home without checking on them, to make sure they were ok. He made his own choices and decisions. Now he must pay the consequences for sending his daughter to her death.

Where is Charles? I wanna know how it is the mothers fault that DANNY SLIT A TWO-YEAR-OLDS THROAT? How is it the mothers fault when she didn’t even go after him for child support? The state did when she applied for food stamps! All they were taking was $100 plus out of each check, if that was hurting him so bad he could have got another job. Ja’Shawn did not deserve to be murdered by that sperm donor, and to blame his mom is just despicable!

I understand where this guy is comming from. I see it as this, everyone thinks about doing bad things, it’s just that some of us will actually act it out. I am on child support. I know alot of fathers on child support, and though nobody has said they wanted to kill the child. ALL OF US have spoken of doing something to the mother. He had 3 options, pay child support = his life is over, and he will be railroaded to jail. Kill the child= his life is over and he will be railroaded to jail, or just do something to the mother= get your child back and live happily ever after. And there are so many ways you can get at the mother. You don’t have to just kill her. Take your son for the weekend, buy a good amount of Dope, Coke, or Crack. Put it in your son’s bag and send him home. The moment he goes into his mothers house, annonomously call DYFS’s emergency line and tell them that it appears to be a drug related disturbance at her home. (You must say that you saw her, and another person arguing over drugs and “A Bag”. The DYFS team will respond faster than the police, they will find the drugs and POOF!!! she goes to jail, you get custody, and now she is to pay the child support. Problem solved. You just spent about $250 on some dope that will save you a life time of debt, and your child will still be supported. As for the mother? Who cares, she can easliy find another man to have a baby on…………and mostlikely she will. So I say shame on you Danny, you had the right idea, just the wrong target. keep your head up and don’t blame yourself, blame the one who is truely to blame, the dependant mother.

What difference does it make that the mother had children from different fathers? NONE! Danny Platt was an irresponsible parent. Period. After getting the truck unstuck, he did not even bother to check to make sure the children were ok. The two men just went home. Apparently these children were just an inconvenience that day.

I’m going to take a different view on this. I am of the opinion that someone like Danny Platt is GAY (nothing against Gay folks). Choosing to spend the rest of his life in an all male population? What’s he going to do next, blame the prison system for turning him into a homosexual? Please! This is just his way of coming out. So sorry it was at the expense of an innocent child. There is no excuse for this type of behavior. Men who don’t want to take care of their responsibilities often blame things on the mother. I know women who have to pay child support as well. Not just the fathers. And to say that something like this is the mother’s fault. What the ? Are you serious? Paying child support is not the end of the world. I am a mother of three. My kid’s dad SHOULD be paying me $411 a month. I haven’t seen a dime. Ever. Yes, I think that the support system sometimes order people to pay too much, but that’s how it is. It takes a lot to raise a child. Let alone more than one. But no amount is worth killing a child over. Let alone your own! This man is sick. And deserves the worst treatment that you could ever give a prisoner. You’re sorry? Really? That helps, a lot. (yeah right) Think of how sorry this mother is. And the rest of Ja’Shawn’s family. They were only allowed 2 years with this baby boy. You get him for a weekend and you take his life? That’s dispicable.

Again, another sperm donor who doesn’t do the right thing. We need to have commercials on TV making sure that sperm donors know that if you impregnate a woman, you are responsible for providing for that child until they turn 18. If he as a society had harsh penalties for sperm donors, I bet fewer babies would be born and or neglected, killed, ect. If men refuse to pay child support – LOCK THEM UP & seize their property to pay back child support. If this loser didn’t want to pay child support someday, couldn’t he have simply worn a condom??? Of course not – that would be too responsible and logical. Hopefully in prision everyone will know he is a baby killer & you know how they treat baby killers…

Secondly we are talking about a child, about a life, about an innocent little one, so tragic that people seem to forget that. In my opinion he is better off without his dad in his life so perhaps Bobby and others alike instead of talking about harming mothers etc should do us all a favour and disappear…. for me bringing back the death penalty universally to remove pedophiles, rapists and murderers is the simple solution to making the world a better place…. for all human right do-gooders let me ask you what about the right of the victim… in this world we seem far to concerned about the criminal than the victim!!!! It is unreal that this is the case.
