Who are these women and what drives them to kill? Did they really do it? And, if they did, why? Now in its 6th season, Snapped tries to answer these questions. Whether the motivation was revenge against a cheating husband, the promise of a hefty insurance payoff or putting an end to years of abuse, the reasons are as varied as the women themselves. From socialites to secretaries, female killers share one thing in common: at some point, they all “snapped.”
Snapped airs every Sunday at 10/9C on Oxygen. This week tune in for the story of Darlene Gentry — marriage and three kids didn’t stop Gentry from going out and having a good time. But when money trouble threatened to spoil her fun, she decided her husband was worth more to her dead than alive.

I love that show! I am actually addicted to it. It comes on in the am as well as new episodes in the evenings and I simply adore it.

ya… real great…. adore a show about criminals and feel sorry for them…
Yes, I would agree with the one’s that are beaten or abused, but anything else is just senseless…
I’m thinking the audience of this show has migrated from Jerry Springer since it’s not on the air much anymore.

I think Snapped is very helpful as far as looking for different sign and signals when it comes to a spouse thinking about killing their better half.

I think that informatio show suck s thins is good for us to know. It keeps us in touch with reality and what is going on with the world. I am in the criminal justice field and hear about stories like this often. I will tell you that it dose not compare to Jerry springer or any talk show. This is people that have mental issues or have been hurt enough to take a life. We need to pay attention and learn from shows like this.
