Please remember when leaving a comment on my blog that all comments are subject to the blog owners discretion. I do believe in freedom of speech, however, that right is not absolute. Here are the rules: 1 - Please remember the victim(s) first and foremost. Do not come here to comment only on the offender(s). My blog focuses on the victim(s). Do not glorify the killer(s). 2 - I will not tolerate hate filled speech, vulgar or derogatory remarks about a victim. I will remove comments that go against this. I will not remove comments just because they do not match my beliefs, in fact, I welcome them! However, that being said, I will remove those that I find offensive, argumentative just for the sake of starting an argument that does not add to the post, hate-filled speech, etc.
3 - Please remember to not use all CAPS or capitalize the beginning letter of every single word or every other word, or use IM/text abbreviations (except like LOL). Please have respect for other readers and type words out. Not everyone is into that and it is inappropriate here. [examples: "cuzn" "tha" "dat" and so many more] Learn proper English! You should have learned it in school.
4 - Your comments must be all in English, using proper English, too. No huge run-on sentences (use punctuation). Pretend you learned something in English class.
5 - I will also not allow Anonymous comments. This includes using anonymous, obviously fake email addresses (you@you.com, me@me.com, anonymous@yahoo.com, or fictional characters, etc.)
6 - ALL COMMENTS LEFT BY COMMENTORS ARE THEIR OWN AND THEIR OPINIONS. THEY DO NOT CONSTITUTE FACTS. NOR IS THE BLOG OWNER RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYONE'S OPINIONS OR FEELINGS. STATEMENTS MADE AS COMMENTS ARE OPINIONS, GIVEN FREELY BY THE COMMENTORS.
7 - You must be 18 years of age or older to comment.

Snapped: Real Women, Real Stories, Real Murder

Real Women, Real Stories, Real Murder
Snapped Airs This Sunday at 10/9C on Oxygen

Oxygen’s Snapped chronicles the life of a woman who has been charged with murder. These shocking but true stories turn common assumptions about crime and criminals upside down, and prove that even the most unlikely suspects can be capable of murder.

Who are these women and what drives them to kill? Did they really do it? And, if they did, why? Now in its 6th season, Snapped tries to answer these questions. Whether the motivation was revenge against a cheating husband, the promise of a hefty insurance payoff or putting an end to years of abuse, the reasons are as varied as the women themselves. From socialites to secretaries, female killers share one thing in common: at some point, they all “snapped.”

Snapped airs every Sunday at 10/9C on Oxygen. This week tune in for the story of Darlene Gentry — marriage and three kids didn’t stop Gentry from going out and having a good time. But when money trouble threatened to spoil her fun, she decided her husband was worth more to her dead than alive.

  3. I love that show! I am actually addicted to it. It comes on in the am as well as new episodes in the evenings and I simply adore it.

  4. ya… real great…. adore a show about criminals and feel sorry for them…

Yes, I would agree with the one’s that are beaten or abused, but anything else is just senseless…

I’m thinking the audience of this show has migrated from Jerry Springer since it’s not on the air much anymore.

  5. I think Snapped is very helpful as far as looking for different sign and signals when it comes to a spouse thinking about killing their better half.

  6. I think that informatio show suck s thins is good for us to know. It keeps us in touch with reality and what is going on with the world. I am in the criminal justice field and hear about stories like this often. I will tell you that it dose not compare to Jerry springer or any talk show. This is people that have mental issues or have been hurt enough to take a life. We need to pay attention and learn from shows like this.

  7. M girlfriend loves this show apparently.. (ah-gulp)
