  1. I don’t know how anyone who murders 2 people can be eligible for parole in 18 years. This is another example of the never ending madness of American justice. Just look at the Drew Peterson case – he was convicted of murdering just 1 wife (while the other one, who went missing, is assumed dead, but he was never charged with the murder of the 2nd wife), and he got LWOP. I thought Illinois justice was bad, but after reading “Bonnie’s Blog of Crime”, I’ve come to the conclusion that Illinois, where I live, is sensible compared to most of these other states.

  2. Yeah, well, eligible for parole and actually getting out in 18 are two different things. We’ll see if the dentist gets out in 18.
