  1. Just follow the money, and you’ll see the husband, William Kyne, was involved in this in some way. Either he promised his stepson, Kevin, some money or the kid thought he’d get some by getting rid of his mother. $500,000 life insurance is a lot of money. When you consider the fact that the husband, William, had “found” his previous wife dead at the bottom of their swimming pool, which is not a common place for people to die of natural causes, you might start to think that the husband was involved in this in some way. I wonder how much life insurance he collected from the dead wife at the bottom of the swimming pool. I think the real loser here is the insurance company. William got away with murder – or rather 2 murders.

    • You’re right. The husband did it. I saw this years ago and I was disturbed that they let the husband get away and focused on Kevin. I think his glasses and shoe were planted in the room after he jumped Kevin and knocked them off. I wouldn’t doubt that his daughter that’s always defending him was part of the plot. The husband killed his wife then set up Kevin when he called him to go talked to his mother, she was already dead. The prosecutor is a real cheeseball, he’s worried about his ego instead of justice. He know he wrong but don’t want to admit it.

  2. For one– Dad didn’t find our mom in the pool— my sister Rebecca did.

Kevin got himself a few tattoos in prison— go on and take a look at what they say….and ask yourself what Kevin must have ad to do to pay for those tattoos — while broke– in prison……but don’t think too hard into it— it’s kinda gross.

This show was the last anyone ever needs to hear about Kevin,,,,,,his fifteen minutes are officially over— and his last desperate attempt to get anyone to believe him is over now.

Tell him to keep praying for forgiveness— but as he does— tell him that without admitting his sins— it really isn’t possible for God to forgive him.

Goodbye to Kevin’s friends—- this is the end of the road as far as publicity goes!

    • Jeremy,

I want you to know that I am so sorry for what happened to you and your family. Personally, my focus and concern is about your mom, not Kevin. She is the important one. He is now in prison for life and that is where he belongs. I hope you and your family can find some kind of peace. It is hard, but it can happen.

    • Jeremy, you are in dreamland. Wake up! Nobody wants to believe their dad killed someone but you know he did and you will have to live with that and the fact that an innocent man is in prison for the rest or YOUR life. May God have pity on your soul.

    • How do we know you are actually Jeremy Kyne and you aren’t some weirdo still out trying to make everyone continue to believe Kevin killed his own mother?
There’s something strange about this case but I can’t put my finger on it.
The tattoos don’t mean crap. EVERYONE sins. So, getting a tattoo about sinning doesn’t make Kevin guilty of murder.
I’m not trying to step on anybody’s toes or start WWIII, just making (what I believe is) a valid argument. Just saying…

    • Hate to say it but you’re in denial. You need to find out who killed your mom and drown her in the pool. I’m sure when the insurance money from Kevin’s dead mom run out, he will find a new wife. God help her.

    • Husband’s DNA on wife’s neck, son’s not, husband flunked lie detector, son passed, Wife was cold and had been dead for hours. Only husband would have waited and if he was telling the truth, he called as soon as he saw son on top of mother (although NONE of his DNA got on her). Husband got $750,000 life insurance on top of the $250,000 he got for last wife who “drowned” in the middle of the night. He also got insurance from business that “accidentally burned down.” Son got NO MONEY and lost his only mother. Husband admitted lying that he didn’t even check on mother to see if she was alive and then changed the story and said he DID go back. Did he tap your sister on the shoulder and ask her to go check on your mother?

  3. That Dad is a sketchy dude….that’s all I can say. 2 wives….hmmm. What was Kevins supposed motivations? That he had to get a job? Was that it? Its always money-motivated with these types of people, so I for one think the Dad got away with something here. But what do I know?! The evidence against the kevin kid is very weak and im surprised it was even tried. But people have been locked up for less in this crappy so-called “justice” system. Another sad story that leaves more questions than answers. sorry for the other family members who weren’t involved in the actual scene.

    • They are the ones who have to live with this and the decisions made. May they live the rest of their lives in peace. I dont blame them for wanting all this to stop, they have been through enough. And Please don’t think that I am siding with Kevin, as I honestly don’t know what to make of it…..but cant help but feel there is something unfinished with this case, that’s all. Again, hope Im wrong. Unfortunately Police in the US aren’t the most thorough, which doesn’t help anyone, especially in cases like this. God Bless everyone

    • I do not think this is a clear case of guilt, either. You are right about the dad. Why would Kevin kill mom when she took him back in the home because of his brain tumor operation, and he was getting well? The dad didn’t go back to see if his wife was really dead, he just called 911.

  4. This case was just on ID channel this morning, I think there may be more to this case than meets the eye. Granted his brain tumor may or may not have had anything to do with his potential for snapping, but why bite the hand that feeds you? On the other hand half a million dollars can make some people plot something. This case is over as far as the law goes but a lot of questions remain.
I just happened upon this website and I think I’m………..hooked on it!

  5. Why is everyone ignoring the fact that the young man claimed that he never entered his mother’s bedroom and his blood DNA was found on his mother?
That was a smoking gun in this case after a long check mate in both parties evidence.

    • He said he opened the door. His DNA was NOT found around her neck or all over her body but the husband’s was. . Just 2 drops of blood and since he wasn’t bleeding till the father fought him and the father lied about going back in the room, you figure it out check mate.

  6. Check out Jeremy’s goober, anti-human rights, fox news promoting FB page. He’s about as credible as everyone on Fox.

And the pic, such class! What a goob. I’m sure he’s bought lots of guns and anti-obama bumper stickers with his share of the $500K.

  7. Kevin is getting a new trial!

I’ve never felt good about his conviction. He asked for a polygraph test and passed it, unlike his step dad.

And the only hard evidence against him was his blood on the body and bedding. But think about it. There was no evidence that the victim scratched or cut Kevin – nothing under the finger nails. So, it seems like the ONLY blood from Kevin, came from when he was attacked by William. He then ran out of the house to call 911. Of course, Kevin’s blood was quite literally, on his step father’s hands, which made it easy to place the blood on his wife’s corpse and comforter.

How else could his blood have wound up on the body and bed? If William hit him hard enough to cause blood to go flying all over, it would have been on the floor and walls as well.

    • Bob,

Thank you for the update. Since your comment is only about Kevin and nothing about Diane Kyne, the victim, I need to remind you to read my comment policy. You must remember the victim here. The victim is always my focus. So please talk about her, as well.

      • I understand, and I know there are people who have described Diane as a wonderful, caring woman.

But I think it’s infinitely more important that her killer has been allowed to go free, while her innocent son may have to spend the rest of his life in prison.

I have been researching this case, studying the records at the County Clerk’s archives. Besides the fact that Kevin voluntarily took and passed a polygraph test, his step father also took one. And guess what the result was.

That’s right, he was found to have been deceptive.

There is much more to this this. I’m going to put together a little vlog on the evidence soon. If I may, I will post a link for you.

        • As promised, this is the video I made, which goes into detail to discuss the facts and evidence related to this case:

After five hours of deliberation, the jury in the second trial unanimously declared Kevin Kyne innocent. The state attorney and sheriff’s dept. should be deeply ashamed about this. They knew all the facts that were hidden from the jurors. But even without that information, the jury was bright enough to realize that Kevin didn’t commit this crime.

      • the victim is dead. the best way to honor her is bring her killer to justice.

    • I think this also .

  8. And what is really terrible, is that the state attorney has burned all his bridges. After making all kinds of statements “proving” William Kyne’s innocence, they have made it virtually impossible for them to charge him with the crime. Can you imagine William’s attorney reading back all those statements the prosecution made in Kevin’s trial?

  9. Kevin shows no emotion or remorse ? He made it clear that he felt Diane and Bill owed have not touched on all the violence he has done and arrest Kevin has has since he was 12 years old.bill provided for Diane and Kevin above and beyond.Kevin could not and would not hold a job or lift a finger to help with anything.most cold blooded killers can and do pass polygraph test. Kevin’s blood and shoes and glasses were in mummy’s room. Very strange for a 23 year old man.Kevin has only talked about himself and his freedom.never about losing his mother what else you don’t know and mention is his grandmother Pam Morton raised him. And Kevin let everyone know that .he and his mother were never close and he was very vocal about that to people that knew him.Maybe you should do your home work before you state with such conviction that Kevin did not do this .all the evedence shows he did .and his action speak louder than words.Kevin got yet another do over. Its ashame that Diane won’t.

    • Rod, there is a reason why every police department in the country, including the FBI, use polygraphs. In the hands of an experienced expert, they are over 90% accurate. The odds that Kevin would fool the system AND that William was falsely found to have lied, are ridiculously small.

It is also extremely improbable that Keven coughed up or spit out the blood that constituted the ONLY forensic evidence of his guilt. I don’t count the sandals, since William had ample opportunity to place them wherever he liked.

We know for a fact however, that William had Kevin’s blood on his fingers, as well as Kevin’s DNA under his fingernails. It only required the flick of a finger to put Kevin’s blood on his wife’s thigh and bedding (see my video). That is obviously, why he tried so hard to convince the police that he never went back into the bedroom.

I realize that Kevin was a deadbeat and like a zillion other young people, got very mouthy with his mother. But that doesn’t make him a killer. The facts and evidence are all that matters, and IMO, they overwhelmingly, indict Kevin’s stepfather – not him.

    • I left a reply to Mrs. Strong’s post a couple days ago, but it has not appeared yet. Please let me know if there was anything inappropriate in it.

  10. The husband did it. The case is a slam dunk. I wonder how the prosecutor sleeps at night. The sin was the easier target because he’s young. That husband had motive, opportunity and failed poligraph….he’s a slime ball and I guess he threw a few coins at his daughter to keep them on his side. Stevie wonder can see right through this case.
