Her husband, William Frances Jennes II pled guilty and was sentenced to 48 years in prison. He is currently on parole.

They wanted to avoid having his son have to testify against his father. Hopefully he won’t get out until he does his full 48. He should be around 82 yo then. Feel sorry for his son.

He should rot as long as possible. Ellie Jennes was a mother of one son. Raised by her Dutch grandparents, college graduate, U.S.Army officer and a dammed fine one at that. Neighbors in Germany for 2 years. He stole her son’s life and innocence as he heard the fatal shots fired in the basement. All those of us who served with her were shorted the chance to relive memories of serving together overseas and lost the camaraderie of a superb fellow soldier.
