Very sad story. This is a prime example of why people shouldn’t be so trusting. You just never know who you’re dealing with. That Lisa Hoyt was just as guilty as the other two. She should have been sentenced to life as well. In fact, they all should have been sentenced to death!

I agree they should of got the death penalty. She was a very kind hearted lady that didnt deserve that. She had a big heart, and was very trust worthy lady and for those scumbags piece of shit murder her like that is not right. The way she helped them too. It really does make me sick of those type of racist people to do that. In my opinon all murders, rapists, and pedifillers should be put to death. I watch so many true storys on murders, rapists, and pedifillers and it makes me mad when some get put to death and others only get life, its not right they all should be exucuted, those type have no remorse and have so much hatred.

According to what I read, Lisa participated and “enjoyed” it. Its nice that Baillio spoke up but in a crime the heinous, he deserved an adult sentence. He was into grave robbing and racist groups back then. I wouldn’t be surprised if he and or Lisa kills again. This story is beyond disturbing. Its obviously doesn’t pay to befriend some neighbors but this woman was just a kind lady. So sorry for what she went thru

Its very sad.. You should have seen what raised them. He was cold blood murder of many many people. He had a hate for black people. He was very scary man. He was sentenced to life in prison and died 6 years ago or so in prison. He was very mean to his children and showed so much hate and abuse. The reason i know is because he was my uncle and they my cousins.. She was so nice to them. Showed much love and kindness they didnt deserve.

how are we 100% sire the police got the correct people? it took 5 years on a rape case. I mean if they were that stupid they would not have used condoms. especially if they were on drugs or alcohol. My knowledge is that they took the charges because they were getting worse. they caught them in the one murder and burning of the truck and stuck this one on them.

Johnny Hoyt is in prison for something he did not do … He was convected with No evidence just a scared 15 year old boy telling a story because he was scared…He also wrote Johnny Hoyt a letter saying he was sorry for lieing he was scared… But the district attorney made the story so big and so harsh that jurors just couldn’t let him go free..they wrote a book and keep puting it in the paper but they don’t have no evidence ..not none …it’s wrong and while he is in jail he lost his daughter , dad, son, mother, and sister and niece…now he is in prison alone with nothing are no body and he still believes that he will get out ..God can’t be that cruel…I tell him have faith but with no one standing up for him it’s hard to keep faith..so please look into his case and see they have nothing to prove he did this…

Although I do believe that there are some people who are innocent and are in prison, this is NOT one of the situations.
Considering the scratches, and the DNA evidence, plus the brutality of the crime, it’s too bad that they all didn’t get the death penalty!
You also have some nerve saying that the DA made the story so “big and harsh ” when the poor woman was stabbed, shot, beaten to the point where her spinal cord was severed, I’m sure no exaggeration was necessary!

After watching this on crime tv tonight in Australia, i feel so sad for the black woman Genore, She seemed a sweet loving person and one that didnt deserve to die horribly by those rotten bastards. I hope those responsible for Genore’s death, are all rotting away in hell forever.
