Jean, who was married to Henry, stole the house that was this woman’s father’s…and even the her mother’s rings! Jean needs to be in jail, too! Thief! Some con old hag stealing from the man’s kids!! WRONG!

First fact 1: she was not married to Henry. Fact 2: In her husband’s will he left the house & his entire estate to her. So she didn’t steal the house. Fact 3: If the rings were so important to Lela, then why didn’t she talk to her stepmom about it seeing as they stayed close for years after her father died? For you to call this woman a thief for staying in a home that was rightfully hers, is wrong. They deserve a lot more then the sentence they got.

Not that they should have killed her, but the wife (jan/jean) did a horrible thing to keep the daughter’s rings that belonged to her mother from her! The wife who lived was very very wrong to begin with! They house shouldn’t even be hers…she was asking for hatred at the least by stealing family heirlooms!

Interesting – that’s an ignorant way of looking at it. The Law in Sarasota (or rather Florida) clearly stipulates that the children will receive part of the estate. Lela was entitled by legal means to either contest or sue for her rightful benefits. So…I suppose she didn’t get the rings.

Interesting…this was my brother in law’s father that was STRANGLED AND CARVED up. Jan was left for dead, but luckily survived. YOU, obviously, are a sick friend of these losers and/or their birth mother. Tyana said it correctly, you are ignorant. I have far more colorful adjectives to describe you, but since you ARE ignorant, you will only come back with your lame comments so I won’t waste my time. My family will be at either of these MURDERERS parole hearings, should they come up, and will try to keep them in until THEY die which is what they deserve.

They are out.. Living within minutes of where everything took place. Just evil presence with them two out in the public a threat to society. Im sure they won’t be able to stay out of the troubling spotlight. Set the alarms & load the guns. Who knows what these people are thinking.

I’ve never heard of this case until city confidential. I’m glad Jan lived, but these 2 did not get the punishment they deserved! Lela had a lot of falling outs with her father and I think this is the reason everything was left to Jan. And not to be mean to Henry, but his kids seemed to be greedy.
