Update: Jamie Weiss murder *Billy Justin Charles found guilty of her 1996 murder, sentenced to 5 years to life in prison*

Jamie Ellen Weiss

Note: The media continually says that Jamie was murdered the day before her wedding. This statement is not true, per Jamie’s sister. I just want to clear up this misconception.

Update: Billy Justin Charles’ murder conviction was overturned in 2011. He was scheduled to go to trial again in August 2015, but that has been cancelled and a change of plea is scheduled for Aug. 25

  1. The physical evidence (considering the bruising and lack of water in her lungs) and the WET towels inside the trunk speak volumes.

This piece of garbage should have been busted 13 years ago..

  2. This is really a sad case.:-(

  3. this man was a good father.the police should have looked more into the case 13 years ago

  4. Very sad case. I had both Jamie and Lisa as students in junior high. My heart goes out to both of them.

  5. His conviction was overturned, the case is going to be tried again.
