I ask the media to take this most recent shooting/suicide as an opportunity to NOT focus on the shooter. This copycat behavior in the US needs to stop. Time and time again it comes out that these shooters look for a way to gain fame in their final moments. Lets keep these killers anonymous, simply from refraining from using their name or showing their picture. This country needs to come together to prevent our loved ones and our youth from dieing in this tragic and inhumane way.

Your point is understood, however, it just won’t happen. His name and picture have been all over the Internet all day. I have already posted it as well. Did you email each and every member of the media? Or are you just commenting on blogs? I understand what you are saying, I do, but people want to understand the situation overall, not just from one side. If an event such as this is only told from one side, people will continue to wonder and then think there is a cover up.

Per channel 2 news this morning, this creep was a former student at this school. Apparently, he waited right until class was about to end ina lecture hall, and opened fire. One student said, “at first, I thought it was toy gun until the second shot, and students started screaming and running”. The shooter was 27 yrs old. They did say his name, but I was so shocked with what they were reporting I didn’t pay attention. I’m sure “mylifeofcrime” has that info John.
