I know that there are some laws inside prison, and one of the laws is, if you come to prison for hurting a child, you are dealt with inside. I pray that each one of those responsible for these killings reap their just reward inside. They know what I mean

Where are the parents going wrong? How could you be able to kill a human being in cold blood not to mention…two babies? What could they have possibly done that was worth them losing their lives? If they wanted to kill somebody they should’ve killed themselves. I am really upset with black people right now..yes I am black as well but everytime I turn around one of “US” is on the news for something stupid. We are always publicized by our negative actions rather than the positive things that we do. We have to remember that in the eye of the public the bad always outweighs the good. Another thing is I neve have understood how you can go from posting your opinion on a subject such as violence in the black community, but then you guys start arguing about senseless things. It wasn’t about whether you understood Corliss’ opinion it was about the deaths of two women and their beautiful children. People stay on the subject at hand. I think it’s horrible that anyone can do this to an innocent baby! I don’t know what should happen to a person that does something like this! However, I do know that they will have to answer for what they have done. Either in this life or when their life ends! Anyway, it’s a tragic event and I wish all this maddness will STOP!! By the way, I think is horribly disrespectful to come on here arguing about something so STUPID!! You could have kept your comments to yourself. Whatever someone posts, is how they feel at the time! Everyone has the right to there own opinion. However, I think when you start labeling a race, based on what individuals do, it is moronic. We are all individuals responsible for our own actions. All people of many races are criminals. All people of many races have murderes. The news and media does not give you everything. How many serial killers are out there, how many rapists, arsonists. Is it any one particular race who does those things. The men who did this hayness crime is of their own race, “Demons”.

Our country allows things like this to continue. If we had tough penalties on crimes such as this. We wouldn’t be having this conversation. In other countries if not the day the day after these guys committed the crime they would have been executed with full celebrations. However, my thoughts and prayers are with the family of these victims. We all should continue to pray and watch over our neighorhoods. This could have happen to either one of us.

Yall don’t even know each other, but yet feel the need to argue and degrade one another. THAT is exactly what is wrong with the world. That’s why so many people are dying, because it don’t take much for us to push each others buttons, criticize or call names. I feel so bad for these mothers and children. They were young but should have known better than to keep that mess around kids knowing that there are men in the world that will take lives over something so minor. There has to be another reason they did this because hell I don’t think Cuban drug lords would kill for this amount of drungs that were found. There is an underlying beef.
My heart goes out to them and I hope the families get their answers so they can heal!

I searched to find updated information on this horrific crime. As I was reading – I see the harsh words to each other on this page. I am sadden to see this. First, I will admit that Carliss FIRST comment was justified. She was venting her anger by the way these men have committed such a crime on 2 small children, who in fact may be father themselves. Although, for the senseless words – have you thought about just posting your thoughts on the subject and leave the bitterness out? Do you have the right to comment on someone else’s blog? Have you thought that family members are reading this? Come on – send your thoughts, prayers, and condolence at the matter at hand. Not each other.

Now – I am hurt to see that four men could rob our community of four of it’s members. My heart and prayers go to each of the family. I believe I read that Gina had two other surviving children. These children were rob of their mother, and little brother in a sick act. I wish that the maximum sentence is put on each of them, and no one is allowed to plead down to lesser crimes. I pray that justice is at it fullest, and it will prevail. There will be nothing done to take away the hurt, and anger that will endure these families for a lifetime. Once again, I will keep the family in my prayers. I hope that this news coverage does not weaken, as many cases do in a Black community.

My heart is hurting….I just found out about this post on Tuesday. Those 4 men will reap what they sow. I don’t care for what reason this has happend, it happend and my heart goes out to their families. Mothers didn’t get a chance to enjoy their children and those babies didn’t get a chance to enjoy life. I pary that one day their families will find strength to heal and forgive those men…..God will fight thier battles and them men will rot in hell.

It’s really all too explanatory. Doesn’t really matter what you say. These girls really thought they were exempt from death!!! I don’t carehow you slice it, cut it, trim ETC!!! How in the hell do you get robbed at gunpoint and behind some stupid *hit, one month with you child being held at gunpoint, and NOT MOVE the next month? These women and children did not deserve to die by any means, however judging from all the articles I’ve read, crime was no stranger to either of these women. Wasn’t Andrea talking to her boyfriend in work release at the time of the murders?? Gina obiviously was a con artist caught by the game. I read several articles naming her in check scams and the like. Yes they probably were “nice” girls, but none of which would I would have like to lived next door too. Yes my heart goes out to ALL the families.. Crime hurts every one. However those babies had no control over the horrible judgement their mothers made. I tell you what if one ever questioned the mentality of a killer check this out “HOW REAL WAS IT TO SEE A MOTHER IN THE CASKET WITH HER BABY?!!!” Yea my fear is that there will be a copy cat, just to prove a point.

It really hurt me to see how people judge others that they nothing about personally,myself included.one thing I learned when Jan,14,08 is bad things happen to good people. I set in pain not knowing what happened to my family,the news reported all kinds of things that would appear that my friend was involved in a life style that did not fit the charter of my friend.she was an amazing mother a loving person a good friend she would never do anything to hurt anyone she prayed regular. You don’t know what someones regrets are as they get wiser in life we all have mad mistakes made some bad choices but that dose not mean that’s what we are.

I understand crime, but everyone is talking about killing (death sentence) 4 more people over what they have done. We are all missing the point. The KILLING needs to stop. The convicts might have kids that take this offensive and that is more hatred being fed into society.
Life sentences and leaving the damage to other convicts, what does that solve? Some of you need to read Jean Piaget Theory in psychology and learn that we as a society punish things after the crime has been commited. There were signs long before now that were ignored I am sure. THIS WAS OVER WEED AND MONEY around kids!!!!

If these were their only children I can say as a mother that they are resting more at peace being with their children but the overall point is that this should have not occured no matter what the purpose or reasoning from the guilty boys

In order for anyone to look at babies and see nothing, feel nothing and just kill them, that says to me that these ppl have no souls. They’re already dead inside. These murders were senseless because the killers didn’t even get a chance to reap the so called rewards from this horrific shit that they did. It didn’t take that long to get these guys. I bet there asses gotta conscience now that they’re sitting there with nothing but time.
