Please remember when leaving a comment on my blog that all comments are subject to the blog owners discretion. I do believe in freedom of speech, however, that right is not absolute. Here are the rules: 1 - Please remember the victim(s) first and foremost. Do not come here to comment only on the offender(s). My blog focuses on the victim(s). Do not glorify the killer(s). No negative comments about the victim. NO VICTIM BLAMING. 2 - I will not tolerate hate filled speech, vulgar or derogatory remarks about a victim. I will remove comments that go against this. I will not remove comments just because they do not match my beliefs, in fact, I welcome them! However, that being said, I will remove those that I find offensive, argumentative just for the sake of starting an argument that does not add to the post, hate-filled speech, etc. 3-No comments in ALL CAPS, or CoMeNtS. They are rude and difficult to read. I have had many complaints about it so no more. 4-Comments must be in English only and easy to read (meaning no text language, shortening words, etc.). Marquise and Quinton Jackson murders 4/26/2007 Chicago, IL *Suspect in custody*

crime-scene-block.jpgTwo brothers, ages 12 and 14, were found stabbed to death in their South Side Chicago home early Thursday morning. Their 13 year old sister had been sexually assaulted. She was able to get away and call for help. She is currently in stable condition in the hospital. This all happened around 3:30am. Police do have a suspect in custoday awaiting charges. Apparently neighbors believe the suspect to be the ex-boyfriend of the children’s mother (who was at work when the incident occurred). A family friend also said that the 13 year old girl was afraid of the man. Her mother kicked him out a couple of months ago after the girl told her mother this.

So far this is all of the information that has been released. However, I believe that the motive for this was revenge and that the girl was the intended target all along. What kind of man would seek out a young girl for revenge for a failed relationship? Easy, a narcissitic sociopath. Since the suspect is in custody, hopefully he will stay there until justice is served (which, in my opinion, would be the death penalty).

*update* The brothers were identified as Quinton Jackson, 14 and  Marquise Jackson, 12.  But the name of the suspect has not yet been released.
