Boyfriends From Hell: Lucas Coe sexually assaulted and killed 4-year-old Emma Thompson; She had 80 bruises, some broken bones, and a STD

Emma’s mother, who did not protect her and allowed this abuse and then murder to occur, was convicted of reckless serious bodily injury to a child by omission and sentenced to 20 years in prison. She is up for parole already, so I am imploring everyone to send a letter to the Texas Parole Board to oppose her parole. I have written a sample letter that you may use. Also, below is the address, fax number, and email address to send the letter in. In my opinion, Abigail got off easy with only 20 years. It was her job to protect her daughter and she did not, as she stood by and let it happen. Lucas Coe, her boyfriend, was convicted of this heinous crime and sentenced to life in prison without parole. I hope he rots there and whatever else.

Please DO NOT grant parole to Abigail Elizabeth Young, TDCJ ID # 01668233. As a concerned citizen, I am writing to protest the projected parole of this convicted person.

On June 27, 2009, 4-year-old Emma Thompson was brutally murdered and sexually assaulted. She died as a result of a violent sexual assault, along with being beaten to death by Lucas Ruric Coe. He was convicted and sentenced to life without parole. However, her ‘mother’ Abigail Elizabeth Young, stood by and allowed the abuse to happen. She did not protect her daughter, something required of every parent. It is beyond comprehension that a mother would allow anyone to harm their child, but even more so, allow such a brutal and heinous act to be committed on such an innocent child.

The heinous nature of the murder of Emma Thompson, along with the disregard her mother had for her should preclude any consideration of parole for Abigail Elizabeth Young. Her actions have shown that she has no regard for human life. For this heinous crime, Abigail Elizabeth Young was sentenced to only 20 years in prison but she, along with Lucas Ruric Coe, sentenced the Thompson family and friends to a lifetime of grief and sorrow.

In the interests of justice, public safety, and to lessen the emotional trauma for the victim’s family, please consider giving Abigail Elizabeth Young a three year or five year set off before any future parole reviews.
