May 29: 1994: Deshonn Cooper and Jeffrey Cheney were shot to death in a parking lot in Atlanta, GA. Deshonn’s ex-boyfriend, Corey Burtts was convicted of both murders and sentenced to life in prison.

May 30: 1997: High school teacher, Jonathan M. Levin, was shot to death in his Upper West Side NYC apartment. Corey Arthur, 19, was convicted and sentenced to 25 years – life in prison. Montoun T. Hart, 25 was acquitted.

May 31: 2009: Dr. George Tiller is shot to death at his church, Foyer of Reformation Lutheran Church 7601 East 13th Street Wichita, KS by Scott Roeder. Roeder was convicted and sentenced to life in prison with no possibility of parole for 50 years.
