OK, I do not know if Larry Ray Swearingen is guilty or innocence, however, I am leaning towards guilty from everything I have read. It would take a lot for me to believe he was innocent. I tend to also believe now that this legal team is trying to just stall his execution. The Montgomery County District Attorney Brett Ligon agreed to the new DNA testing and even offered for the County to pay for it and to expediate it. Sounds like a good idea to an innocent man right? His legal team turned it down. Makes no sense, unless they are just trying to stall.
But in all of these stays, appeals, testing, etc., the victim, Melissa Trotter has basically been tossed aside and forgotten. However, not here. She is the one to be remembered and honored. Do not forget her. She and her loved ones did not deserve this.
