Deloris Gillespie murder 1217/2011 Brooklyn, NY * Jerome Isaac allegedly confesses to burning 73-year-old woman to death in elevator*

This is the kind of crime that screams for the death penalty, but no, New York does not have it. Hopefully justice will still be served. If he is convicted, he should get LWOP, not a day less than that would be justice. What a horrible, heinous way to die. And for what? Because he said she owed him money? I wonder if he owes any bills. Maybe this is how he ought to pay any bills he owes. However, it appears she had hired him for odd jobs to help him out, then he allegedly stole from her so she fired him.
