If it would be man who would be paying woman who battered him using the fact that there is VAWA act protecting them, nobody would be bothered. It is Ok that husband stubbed by his wife now pays her a support. This case is an equality that women wanted, Sorry

I do not agree. It does not matter to me if it is a man or woman who pays the support, however, if that spouse assaulted the other and was even in prison for it, that spouse DOES NOT deserve spousal support. Period. The gender of that person does not matter, but the actions do.
