When a 10 year old child is still wetting the bed it’s because they’re being ABUSED!!!!! Someone knew this child was being mistreated and did absolutely nothing! My thoughts and prayers go out to Johnathon’s twin brother and extended family. For the parents, may God have mercy on your soul.

Mila,
Exactly! And these 2 boys did not want to go to their dad’s for the summer, which makes this even worse.

F*#* the parents—-bring back medieval torture just for them and any sickos like them (and believe me if there’s ONE thing I hate about humanity is our ability to torture–but in this case and anything similar, I’d torture them myself)

I agree he was being abused, but bedwetting is NOT always a sign of abuse. My almost 10yo son just successfully stopped bedwetting in the past 2 weeks. He has cerebral palsy and autism. Better said, in the ABSENCE of documented special needs, bedwetting is a potential sign of abuse.

How can anyone think this is an acceptable way to treat their child! Bed wetting is most often caused by medical or psycological reasons. In this case, I’m pretty sure there were other occasions in which this poor child was tormented. I am a survivor of child abuse myself and even though the abuse I received was mostly emotional, it still messed me up pretty good. When I was little I would have night terrors about my drunkard of a father and would wet the bed out of fear. This continued untill I was about 12 and my mother divorced him and kicked him out of the house. After that I stopped wetting the bed, but I still have night terrors about the old bastard. Whatever form of punishment these parents receive is too good for them! I hope they remember and feel guilty about what they did every time they take a sip of water! The saddest part about the whole thing is the brother and grandmother who loved him dearly now have to live without him and are probably traumatized to boot!
