February 8: 2003: Derrick Butler was shot and killed at 222 Waldo Rockford, IL. Adrian Green was convicted of his murder and sentenced to 16 years in prison. He has a tentative parole date of 2/22/2013.
February 8: 2011: Treybbian Leekey Nelson was shot to death in the 1000 block of Edgar St. in Greenville, TX. Bernard Dale Kelly Jr. and Tyron Learone McCurdy have been charged with his murder.

Recent Convictions/Sentences Overturned
TN - Lemaricus Davidson, Letalvis Cobbins, George Thomas and Vanessa Coleman have all been granted new trials due to Judge Richard Baumgartner's drug addiction and the crimes that went along with it. They will all be in court January 12 for a Motion Hearing.
FL Randy Chaviano had his murder conviction overturned due to the trial transcripts being erased by the court stenographer. No trial date has been set yet.

I wonder how many people in the area did feel this a long time ago? I have seen several people trying to tie him to a few other cases. And there a few other cases like this still laying around California, just waiting to be linked to another serial.
