My condolences to Brandon’s family. Clearly justice was not served. 100 days? I am truly sickened.

I feel bad for this young mans family. He will not be forgotten, by his family nor anyone involved that horrible night.
Whoever write this I feel has no respect. I am Jon’s wife. And I shouldn’t be involved with this ordeal nor should my innocent child. This is offensive to me and flat out rude.

corley,
The statement was not against you or your child, but against Jon, plain and simple. His sentence does not reflect justice in any way. Sorry it offends you that I believe he should be in prison for life for taking the life of this young man. If you are offended that people believe he should be in prison rather than receive a slap on the wrist, then you must condone what he did. What if someone did that to your child and only got 100 days in jail (not prison, but jail)? Would you be satisfied?

I think mylifeofcrime worded it very well. Justice was not served. For Jon to get a slap on the wrist (in jail), and now be able to enjoy the fruits of life (whether it be to have a family or get married or eat a hamburger or simply sit on the beach-something BRANDON LOVED and can no longer do.. EVER again) unfair. By marrying Jon you kind of involved yourself…not trying to disrespect his wife or kid in anyway shape or form, I am simply saying that Brandon can no longer enjoy these simple pleasures, why should Jon… ESPECIALLY after such a brief jail sentence? Brandon would have been a great father. If this offends Jon’s wife, that is not my intention, I am just stating the obvious.
