  1. What a sad story. Part of me feels sympathetic for this woman, while the other part of me wants her sentenced to death.

    • I actually feel the same. It is obvious that she is suffering from major depression. I wish someone could have helped her before this. And she did not deny what she did. The picture I got in my mind from the story was just so sad.

  2. How can you hate someone who is obviously mentally ill? You can’t. SHe needs help, and it’s too bad she didn’t get it BEFORE she killed her beautiful daughter. What a waste. Someone SOMEWHERE knew what was going on with this woman. Another child falls through the cracks of this demented society. It’s a sad day. RIP little one.

  3. here me out ok.. there was nothing wrong with this women.. i knew her and makeda and i know cheryl was jealous of her. she was mad at the fact that makeda would grow up and probally be somebody…
    and she was stuck being a whore.. life is sad.. and i cant beleive she would use “depression” as scapegoat to oversee the real punishment she deserves.. “death penalty”

  4. there was something wrong with cheryl i knew makeda and all her brothers . she was going thourgh alot i babysitted makeda . she was sucha sweet child . for those of u who dnt know this lady shudnt judge her because of the way she looks or becuse of what she did . yes it wasnt right but she made her own choices it was her daughter and thats what she choose too do . yes now she is serving her time but i personally dont think she deserves no death penalty . she needs help and people too talk to she isnt crazy she just lonely and maybe at the time she cracked and to be honest stuff happens regardless if its a good outcome or a bad one . i know this lady more than anyone besides my mother . she actually is a very caring and sweet lady so before all of you judge u should ask questions first . i just wish she would have called some one :( rip makeda . and people please stop posting negative comments about her if u dont know her

  5. well as i said before.. i think its wrong what she did to that baby.. and for u felisha.. the proof is in the pudding.. i babysat her.. u babysat her and 100 more people babyl sat keda.. cheryl didnt want her.. keda was in her way/.i know this for a fact because a few months before that baby died me and her fell out because i wouldnt watch her.. nobody knows what i know.. i sit back and have to wonder why people use depression as a way to cover their lunatic ways.. i have bad days but i never wake up to kill my son..
