I just happened to catch part of Nancy Grace this evening and they are talking about missing child Haleigh Cummings. They were showing video of the divers, who were still searching the river, and at the scene, in her jail clothes and handcuffed, was Misty Croslin. They are speculating that she has made a deal about this situation. Hopefully she has come clean and told the truth. Apparently the police are also interviewing Misty’s cousing, Joe Overstreet in Tennessee. The police had Haleigh’s family at the jail on Tuesday for a meeting about all of this and the family left distraught. Even Nancy Grace was choking back tears while talking about this. And yes, I was crying the whole time. I knew this day would come (well, I hope it has come) that the truth would come out, but his beautiful little girl has really touched my heart.

Yes the Orlando Sentential is reporting that it was reported that Joseph entered the trailer that night with plans to steal a machine gun. He became angry when he could not find the gun and took Haleigh.

Last weekend, a grandmother said, she had to decide which of her grandsons to believe about what happened to Haleigh Cummings.
The first grandson, Hank “Tommy” Croslin Jr., called from jail saying his cousin entered the Satsuma trailer with a knife that night in February 2009 and left with 5-year-old Haleigh.
The other, Joseph Overstreet, says he’s sorry for what the family is going through but swears he didn’t hurt the girl.
Ultimately, Flo Hollars says, she immediately called authorities, spurring a revived search for Haleigh and a quick trip by Putnam County detectives to Nashville, Tenn., to interview Overstreet.

Authorities Find… Florida officials have found two cinder blocks in the river that they are searching for Haleigh Cummings’ body. It was recently announced that the case was moving from a search to a murder investigation.
It looks as though it’s only a matter of time before they find the remains of the body.

Gab,
Her BODY may never be found due to decomposing, but DNA, bones, teeth and other sources of identification CAN be found. We know someone killed her and the family knows who did it. Thats why “the family” needs to pay for what has happened to Haleigh. Haleigh’s dad still falls under the “strange” category, and let me tell it the whole family needs some kind of psych help. Trailor trash is an UNDERSTATEMENT when dealing with these people. I feel so sorry for Haleigh. When her father married Misty AFTER she went missing, all 10 of my red flags went up.
