Shannon Crawley going into court
Interestng – the defense is saying that the “real killer” is Denita’s fiance, Jermeir Jackson-Stroud and that he made Shannon go with him to Denita’s apartments. However, I don’t believe the security guard at Campus Crossing Apts. will support this. He stated it was Shannon that he saw leaving the apartments and was in her own vehicle by herself. She is trying to use the ploy about being used by a man and that she had no control over herself or the situation. But if I remember correctly, Jermeir’s alibi was solid, so I don’t think this will fly. And to those who cry about Jermeir cheating on Shannon and he must have done it, you may want to check things closer. Shannon’s relationship with Jermeir was before he and Denita were engaged.

Also, the maintenance guy said he saw her in her vehicle crying not that she was walking away from the scene. I dont know either of the parties but I am following the facts very closely. It’s always best to see who is innocent and guilty during the trial with facts presented instead of pre judgement because what it seems is not what it always is.

Bonnie.. You are correct! His involvement with Shannon did end before his engagement to Denita Smith. Now he did cheat on Denita with Shannon before the engagement. He dated Denita 2000-2007(her death). His involvement with SHannon was in 2005. The engagement was in 2006.
As for michuane, obvious friend/famil of Shannon, maintenance man said he saw her walking away by herself AND in vehicle by herself. He admitted that he coudnt see into the entire vehice. But he did say that he saw her walking away. Leaving out facts just because they support your loved one is worse than prejudgment.
Since you have so much to say, what about the things that are pain and obvious. I know you, like everyone else, wants to believe your loved one, but there are just too many things that Shannon can’t explain that has come outin testimony so far. Like the gun, the rape allegation, the moving close to someone she is supposedl terrified of. Or the most obvious lie she was caught in so far, the fact that she claimed he took her to Durham the day before, but there is proof he was at work while Shannon was in Durham.
Like I said, its ok to correct the facts, but leaving some out make your credibility just as bad. If yu gonna correct people, tell the whole story.

Thank you. That is how I understood it too.
I know it is so easy to blame the man and make it look like he was the cause and she was just doing what he wanted, and sometimes that is true. But personally, in this case, I don’t believe it to be the truth.

I give full and unequivocal latitude for whatever emotions that those who love Denita are experiencing. Whatever thoughts, opinions or anger comes up will not be challenged. It’s not appropriate. Let me experess my view.
Defendant claims she met Jermeir’s family, even spent time with them after picking them up from the airport. Not so. Another fantasy. She COULD NOT, DID NOT and WILL NEVER, COULD EVER come close to measuring up to the beautiful, spirited, educated, joyful gem of Denita. Shannon, NOR NOTHING SHARING HER DNA COULD EVER BE acceptable to be in our presence. EVER! If it was not Denita, it simply was not good enough!!

Shannon was found guilty! The most awesome thing is that the delays in the trial created the evidence that was needed to prove her a liar. Isn’t that something? I have to apologize for my fleshly outburst in the previous post. More than that, I repent. I just praise God that the Smith family and Jermeir can heal and have some closure.

That’s OK you can contact her in the NC Women’s prison and ask her did she really believe she was going to get away with murder.
