Good morning everyone! I decided to start this today so you can just post on anything you want, whether it be the death of Ted Kennedy (who I believe got away with murder) or the Letalvis Cobbins trial (I am listening to the sentencing hearing now) or any other case, even if I have not posted on it.

They are replaying Gary Christian’s victim impact statement right now and it breaks my heart. I cannot imagine what these families are going thru and how they have made it this far. It really hit me when he said that he wonders if his daughter was still alive in that garbage can when he was just a few yards away when he found her Forerunner.
I also listened to Letalvis Cobbins sister. I do feel bad for her and she is a good sister. She is standing by her brother, as she should. She talked about their terrible life growing up. However, personally, I do not find it mitigating. He was an adult and he made CHOICES. He must face that. No one forced him to rape Channon or even be in that home. I hope that the jury sees this as well.

Now his sister Laquita is giving her statement and she said something that bothers me. Apparently she was molested in her bed one night (which I do feel badly for her, that is not the problem) and then she went to her brother for help. After that, he walked her to and from school, etc. He was very upset over this assault that happened to her. But now he has done a similar type assault. He KNEW this was wrong. He even showed that he knows sexual assault is wrong. I hope the jury realizes this as well.

When will the people in this country realize that it takes more than publicity and money to make a hero?

I 100% agree with all 3 posts. I am disgusted by the Jackson/Kennedy coverage 24/7 when good, decent kids are being forgotten in TN. Where is Nancy Grace? Oprah (oh, nevermind, she wouldnt touch this one) or the big three news channels? I am sickened over this. Love your site, very informative. Thanks
