When reviewing the 9 minutes again to check out whether there is long hair or just shadows on the child, I noticed that the Liar, Shon Pernice, said “1/2 sticks of dynamite” were going off at the park. What??? If that is true, why was he there with all those blasts going off when just a year ago he said he couldn’t tolerate loud noises because of his Iraq experience. (Sure!) Remember the Fox4 interview? And what happened to your PTSD and brain trauma? Remember, the Liar’s Lawyer, Baldwin or Vernon, complaining that the LE shouldn’t have set off a diversionary blast last January when they were serving the search warrant on Renee’s house because poor Shon Pernice couldn’t handle loud blasts? He’s quoted in an article. But now, six months later, the Liar purposefully goes down to a park where, in his own words, 1/2 sticks of dynamite are going off!!!! Which is it Liar?

Why have no military authorites investigated the stealing of military ID’s??? Why have they not released the results of the blood test from the garage??? Who is making the house payments??? Be careful neighbor!! Shon is already setting the stage for accusations. According to Shon, you have “allegedly” assaulted his children. Have you considered a restraining order? Don’t give him any ammunition. He will take anything you say and/or do and twist it to his warped thinking. Actually, no doubt Marsha is directing the show. She was probably in the background giving the thumbs up that Shon responded to. Please all of you in the neighborhood, watch out for each other. Keep a journal if you have to, but know everything you do and when, so that when the accusations begin, you will have documentation.

Neither I or a bunch of my friends have received any response from the MO National Guard. And there is nothing on the Justice of Renee myspace that indicates Renee’s family has gotten a response from either the guard, or the fire department, or the MO Govenor, so I would suspect that he is still hooked up with both the fire department and the Guard.

Now that I think about it, the Liar’s attorney said that he was on leave from the fire department (in an article recently), but nothing has ever been said about whether it is paid or unpaid. Then too, there has never been any comment about the NG. How can he still be with the Guard when he was AWOL to his assignment in January. How can your wife be missing for 2 hours (according to the Liar’s story) be a reason to not go on your assignment?

Our tax dollars are going to pay him. That sure makes me feel good! NOT!

Brilliant detective work!!! Why didn’t I catch that detail when I watched that video (twice)? You are absolutely right about his lawyer whining about loud blasts upsetting the poor dear when they stormed his house back in January. I remember it because, when “Iraq” and “brain injury” and “PTSD” were referenced by his attorney, I thought to myself, “Here we go…there’s the defense strategy…he’s a victim who was wounded by the war”. Thousands have served honorably in Iraq and Afghanistan and this sob uses that sacred service to hide behind not wanting his house searched. 4th of July arrives and he not only indicates (ON CAMERA) that he was at the park next to dynamite and mortars going off in his words…I’m sorry…it’s just almost more info than I can digest. Anythehoo…ShonIsALiar…I hope the cops caught what you caught and that eventually the contradiction here will jump up and bite him in a court of law. You’re so right – his activities on the 4th kind of blow a PTSD defense out of the water (remember, he also said on camera that he was NOT drunk).
Speaking of the cops, I wonder how the responders from that night are feeling about Shon wanting to “file a complaint” with the Police INTERNAL AFFAIRS BUREAU about THEIR actions on the 4th. Yeah, Shon, that’s ALWAYS a wise move – when your wife is missing, you refuse to answer (or ask???) questions, search or help, you vandalize and steal from your neighbors, take your children on a drunken joy ride, then humiliate and embarrass them in front of their entire community – and what? you now want to tattle-tale to cops about other cops??? Because um…cops aren’t known for sticking together? Because starting a war with the police has worked out so well for other persons of interest in murder cases? Do you really think IAB cares about your drunken ass getting a well-deserved drink in the face? My guess is you do. Your inflated ego, narcissism, sociopathy and desperate need for victimhood, sympathy and attention are going to land you exactly where you belong. Thank you, Angel, for continuing to be honest and helpful. What he did on the 4th should be a big help to Renee’s parents’ guardianship case, too. Hopefully, all the neighbors who witnessed the Liar’s (Shon Pernice) antics will step forward and be brave like you. They need to contact Renee’s parents’ attorney ASAP and tell him what they know. The Liar is a COWARD. Only a coward hides behind attorneys when his wife goes “missing”, but has no problem talking to reporters when he wants to try to shift the blame for his problems. It’s my opinion that only a COWARD kills an unsuspecting person.

Angel, I hope your troubles are worth it as well. I also hope that you are going to great lengths to protect yourself, your home, your children, your pets etc… These are all fair game for the Pernices now. They have likely been plotting against you for some time. As for the interview, no one should EVER expect a Pernice(Shon or any other ridiculous member of his sad, sad, sick family)to tell the truth. This is not something they are familiar with or understand. Anyone who has had the grave misfortune of dealing with these people can tell you that. Beware that, historically, their lies are taken as fact by LE, for what reason I do not know. They destroy lives then walk away and continue with the lying; this has been allowed to go on for decades. The fact that he’s now willing to lie in front of a camera gives me hope that SOMEONE will notice these people for what they are and stop them once and for all. I think the Liar, Shon Pernice, is going to have a hard time getting away with trying to set the neighbors, or the police, up this time because there is too much publicity surrounding him. Before, there was no spotlight on him so people could not see what he was trying to do. There are at least a couple neighbors, besides the ones who “allegedly” had the gun stolen and their house vandalized, who have spoken out on TV even about what the Liar did on the 4th. He has no one, except the poor children that he has most likely rehearsed over and over, to witness his story. He thinks he is clever because it has worked in the past. But times have changed. People are on to him. His threats of lawsuits are not going to work this time. I hope his attorneys know the Liar is not good for paying his bills. You can see on case.net he had a lot of debt back when Renee got involved with him and she paid it off after they were married. Unfortunately, he doesn’t have her around to get him out of this mess. And IMO it is because he chose to get rid of her rather than pay child support. You reap what you sow, Liar. He has negatively affected countless lives and he needs to pay for it.

The reason, IMO, that we are seeing this public meltdown now is that they have been robbed (in their mind) of playing the role they were born to, have perfected, have profitted from and without which – they are LOST and without any sense of self. That is the role of victim, which sadly is now the role of Renee, her entire family, all of the children involved, and now, even neighbors that had nothing to do with this but that Shon is trying to torture anyway. I think the reason we haven’t heard from Ellen regarding Shon’s latest freak-out is that they don’t know HOW to play this game UNLESS they are allowed the victim role. So Ellen…are you going to testify in the custody case? I think you’ll need to…sounds like alot of neighbors and cops have been very eager to talk…and not a ONE of them characterized Shon as a victim. They’ve gone and changed the rules of the game on ya, Marsha. It will be problematic for you and “the boys”. It’s going to be quite the challenge. And you’ve always been the most dangerous and the most erratic when challenged. I don’t see this as ending well for you or Shon.

On a positive note, I would like to remind everyone that registration for the “Run for Renee” will begin at 9:30 AM this Saturday, July 18, at Gail’s Harley Davidson in Grandview, MO, and at Kessler Park’s Colonnade/Promenade (close to where Renee’s cell phone was found) in KCMO. Motorcycles and any other vehicles are welcome to join the ride from Gail’s to Kessler Park and then back to Gail’s where prize drawings will take place. There will be a band at Gail’s Harley Davidson from 11 AM – 3PM. There will be “Ride For Renee” t-shirts and “Justice For Renee” t-shirts for sale along with cookbooks, wristbands, and raffle tickets at both locations. Nelle, you are the same as Ellen and Marsha. You can’t fool anyone on here. I wonder if Shon and Marsha will show up this weekend at Gail’s Harley Davidson. Hope so. That should be fun. Everything Margie has said is the total truth and you hate to hear the truth don’t you Marsha? Margie, keep the truth alive because the truth may set them free if we’re lucky. Since they have no conscience, I really don’t see that happening but it is wishful thinking.

Anyway, I want to say Angel I commend you for standing up to the freak and not backing down. You have obviously been thru alot living close to the crazy people but don’t sweat it and don’t move. Hopefully Shon will dig a hole deep enough to fall into. It’s just a matter of time. I do feel so sorry for the boys and pray that something good happens in the near future to benefit the boys. They deserve so much more and I hope they get it. I pray everynight that the boys get a better life than what their father had. The longer they are with him, the more they will learn to play dirty just like him. The sooner they get away, the better chance they will get in life.

I find it rather ironic that Ellen showed up after Margie asked where she was. Ellen, do you have anything else to say about your son acting out with your grandchildren on July 4th? A guilty conscience makes people do alot of things they wouldn’t normally do. They get very combative and defensive when backed in a corner. I don’t believe a caustic substance was thrown in the car, I think that was just an excuse to confront the neighbor that accused Shon of stealing their gun. He is still angry over that. Angel do be careful and don’t let your guard down. This man is NOT to be trusted under any circumstances and since you are not his favorite person, don’t let your guard down for one minute.

By the way Ellen, I think you are the one that has the psychotic problems. Your day will come and you will get what is coming to you and your son. You need to step back and take a good look at what is occurring around you. It looks like alot of people don’t like you or your son Shon. Wonder why? He hasn’t come out and talked to the press about trying to find his missing wife, has he? Not even once and then for him to be able to go on with his life without even a thought of the pain those two boys are enduring everyday. If you and your beloved son show up at the Gail’s Harley Davidson event this weekend, I’m sure you won’t be greeted with open arms. Everyone knows who Shon is with his mug shot on TV quite often lately. We all know what he looks like. Not too pleasing to the human eye in my opinion. I hope if you decide to make an appearance that you open your eyes and see what your son has taken away from his children and his family. It’s not fair that Shon is free and Renee is gone. So go try to manipulate everyone in believing that you are the sweet, doting Grandma that you claim to be to your grandsons. Most people can see through this but others better beware of people like you. Your son is the product of you and that is something I wouldn’t be proud of. Once again this blog beats the media as it relates to local crimes. I have been telling you all to look for more action to take place in the case of Renee Pernice for some time now. Tonight KCTV-5 talked about a grand jury looking into this case. Since, it’s out there now I will let you all know that this grand jury is out to charge Shon Pernice with the murder of Renee Pernice. The fact that Renee Pernice is still missing it’s going to be hard to charge him with murder traditionally. Thus, the grand jury. Plus, the national media is waiting for the charges to be dropped and they are going to be all over KC. Check out this article from CNN. They are covering this story on their web site because something big is about to go down. They even refer to my taped interview with Shon. The good works of my activism can be felt all over this hell hole. So, keep watching this case because more stuff is about to take place. If you know where Renee Pernice is holla at me.

Well news just broke. Shon has been arrested for Child Endangerment and Witness Tampering!!! Hurray for Grand Juries. Guess we will all hear that it is a conspiracy to get poor little Shon. Should be interesting to see if a tip about the location of Renee comes out now. He could probably use the $25k for the 10% bond, if he can find a bondsman. Hope DFS is watching, now hopefully they can go in and get the kids.
It will be really hard for Marsha to control the puppet strings if Shon is behind bars.

Wow! I just saw the news about Shon being arrested again. I am so concerned about the boys and I agree with you AngelFR, the neighbors should keep a look out to see if Marsha flees with the boys. Shon will do ANYTHING to keep Renee’s family from getting the boys. Shon is capable of anything at this point, even behind bars. I don’t trust any of the other family members that are not behind bars to assist him in any way they can. This family is EVIL and will stop at no cost.

We just all have to pray that he doesn’t manipulate his way out of this one as he has done so many times in the past. Just because Renee is still missing doesn’t mean LE doesn’t have enough evidence to convict him. I would think LE has done their homework and they have information that could blow the case wide open but they have to be careful and make sure Shon and his entourage don’t try to outsmart them. The Pernices’ are supposedly very well educated in manipulating the system so hopefully LE will dot all their I’s and cross all of their T’s before they proceed any further. I remember the Richard Grisham case in KCMO back in the early 1990’s. He killed 3 woman in the area and they never found ANY of the bodies but he was convicted and is still in prison because they had enough evidence to convict him such as DNA and other evidence. The only difference is in their situation, he didn’t live with any of them or have any reason for his DNA to be in their apartments or vehicles. Shon lived in the same house with Renee so his DNA would be throughout the house where she was probably murdered and disposed of at an unknown location. All of us on here know Shon did it or is involved in the disappearance of Renee so I’m happy that a grand jury indicted him. This is the beginning of a happy ending. The puzzle will eventually all fall into place.

Thanks, ShonIsALiar and Curiouscoe, for GETTING IT and getting these people. They are beyond DESPICABLE. Need an example? While Shon was drunkenly running the streets (w/those poor kids in tow), threatening the neighbors w/murder by knife and being held back BY HIS 9-YEAR OLD?? Mommy (grandma) Marsha was sitting home…what?…watching Seinfeld?? (his news interview places her AT HOME at the exact time he was threatening to kill his neighbors in front of his kids.) And a Missouri judge and child advocate are ready and willing to sign custody over to Marsha, who KNOWINGLY let a drunken Shon drive the children up and down the street. Really? She (by his account) was present at the home and knew he was legally intoxicated. (countless neighbors and several 911 operators and cops have verified that he was.) She KNEW he was drunkenly careening thru the neighborhood w/her grandkids…AND DID NOTHING. But a Clay County judge has seen fit to give HER temporary custody while the law-abiding Pretz’s and Lockwood’s get 1-hr. a WEEK supervised visitation. I hope that both the judge and child advocate in this case understand that their actions (or inaction) will be closely scrutinized by the public. In addition, I hope that they are cognizant of the fact that Marsha Pernice is an extremely manipulative professional grifter who will SAY and DO anything to hold on to whatever is her current meal ticket: in this case, Renee’s house, Renee’s boys. Sadly, in that order.
P.S. AngelFR is 100% right-Neighbors, please be these kids’ guardian angels and keep your eyes open. Also…God bless the neighbors who showed up in court today and who have been so courageous in standing up to this cretin.

Margie, I agree with you. It’s not fair that a woman who has reared 3 boys as poorly as she did and is actually part of the problem can remain the custodial guardian of those boys. I guess LE doesn’t have enough evidence-HA HA!!! Letting a 9 yr old try to control a very volatile situation is beyond NUTS!!! These boys need supervision and it doesn’t sound like they are getting much with the intoxicated daddy and his crazy Grandma.

Do I remember correctly that on an earlier post somebody stated that Marsha hated Renee and wanted to get her house and kids? Jealousy can be a truly evil thing. I think that Shon should probably be worried as well because Mommy Dearest now has exactly those things that were mentioned months ago. Hmmmm.
May no longer be a need to keep Shon around and we may just very well see her throw him to the wolves. Oh well, no great loss. If he is smart he will start talking to save his own butt and turn the tables on her vindictive low life existence. One would think that at some point in their sorry lives one of the three sons would grow some balls and say enough is enough and come clean with the whole sordid tale.

Angel, I was there and the event was fantastic. I talked with a family member last night and was told that the family was very pleased with the turn out. I was told over 200 people registered. News coverage of the event was great.

Also, Angel, this family member said Renee’s family will never forget your courage and the courage of the others who were willing to speak to the Grand Jury. They cannot thank you enough. IMO, this is what it takes to make your neighborhood, and this entire city, safer.

The news is out about Renee’s mom (Mrs. Lockwood) getting temporary custody of the boys. I think that is great news and the beginning of something good for the boys. However I am somewhat confused about what I read. It said that (not in these exact words) the boys will be in the temporary custody of Renee’s mother and that ALL consented to it including Shon Pernice. I was surprised that he would consent to that. I wonder if that was a misprint or typo. I can’t imagine Shon would allow his boys to go to Renee’s mom and not go back to his own mother. You might read the article that was in yahoo local news on 07/20/09 and see what you think.

And I just want to say to Margie regarding your 07/17/09 post and several other prior ones, you put everything into perspective so well. I think you should be a story writer or something. Maybe you should write a book about this crazy story. I wish this story could get more media coverage. It has gotten some but not enough and I think it is a story similar to Drew Peterson’s where the wife went missing, he accused her of running off with a rich guy. Previous acquaintances (in Drew’s case wives) either died mysteriously or in Shon’s case went missing. Somewhat similar. The men are both narcisstic, selfish liars and don’t waste any time trying to find their next victim. I hope both of these women are found. Both women had young children and I know most women would not just pick up and leave their children unless they were unfit mothers and there is no evidence at all indicating that either one of these women were running around not paying attention to their kids and not a very good parent. All who knew them state they were responsible, good parents. Very interesting that both were threatening divorce before they went missing. Why is it seeming to be that divorce is NOT an option anymore? Just like Scott & Lacy Peterson. He could have divorced her and moved onto another relationship but because she was expecting his child, he didn’t want the burden so he murdered her. With the Pernice case, Shon did not want anymore child support payments in my opinion. He already was paying for his daughter and supposedly there is another daughter from Lurking if any of that is true at all. This case is getting more interesting everyday. I see JUSTICE FOR RENEE getting closer all the time. Keep it coming.

On this morning news I heard that not only did Shon consent to temporary custody of the boys to Renee’s mom but also Marsha agreed which really shocks me. I thought she had more fight in her. Margie, shed some light to why you think Marsha and Shon both gave up without a fight?

I did hear this morning that Shon was not employed and therefore they thought it was best to place the boys with Renee’s Mom because there was no money coming in. Why didn’t Marsha work? Has she got some kind of disability or something? I know she couldn’t be that old. I wonder what is going on? Could Shon and Marsha possibly have some empathy for the boys after all? I believe it is in the boys best interest to be with Mrs. Lockwood. Maybe Marsha couldn’t take the heat anymore. What a chicken shit she is. Here she is the boys Grandmother and she just gave up. Doesn’t sound like she has much backbone if she couldn’t stand up and fight for her own grandchildren. Could it possibly be that she is going to be exerting ALL of her energy in trying to get the best possible legal advice regarding Shon and the boys and start the manipulation theory again that she has mastered so cleverly in the past? I smell a rat. Something is up. Marsha could not give up this easily. From prior posts on this blog regarding Marsha’s behavior, I can’t possibly imagine what might be going thru her mind. She doesn’t appear to be very stable from what I have heard. We will have to sit back and wait and see what tricks she has in her bag.

I am SO GLAD that Renee’s children are with Renee’s family FINALLY! It’s hard for me to believe that Marsha and Shon agreed to that. I COMPLETELY agree w/what Craziness Abounds said, and here’s why. I believe that when Shon awarded guardianship to Marsha, they were both unemployed. She stated that she was giving over custody because Shon was unemployed. So why didn’t they give over custody to the Lockwoods when he was arraigned? He and his mother were unemployed then, too, but they took legal steps to make sure she got the kids and then a week later they give in? Something doesn’t smell right. I hate to sound cynical but it IS best to have your guard up when dealing with ANY of the Pernices.
I’d like to thank Curiouscoe for two things: thanks for the really kind words but, more importantly, THANK YOU for pointing out something that has been really bothering me for some time. You not only comment about the similarities w/this and widely publicized, notorious cases like Scott Peterson and Drew Peterson, but Curiouscoe has asked an extremely valid question: where is the media? Yes, they’ve covered whatever he’s been arrested for on any particular day but why aren’t we hearing more about his involvement in the Star Boomer case, the falsifacation of military ID and what’s being done about it, current status w/Indep. Fire Dept. as well as National Guard, etc. Like, for instance, I wish one of the “reporters” who interviewed him July 5 would have had the journalistic intregity to ask, among other things, WHAT did you desperately need at 4 am from a HAZMAT station? I think part of the problem is, reporters assume he would answer “No comment”. They don’t know Shon Pernice: ask the question often enough and “differently” enough and he will abandon whatever legal advice he’s been given and start constructing lies. And he’s a REALLY bad liar. Alonzo Washington got more out of him in a phone call than all the reporters he welcomed into his living room. I would think they would be embarrassed enough by that to actually…um, go after the story?

Yes Lisa Stebic is a grown woman who left her house with her cell phone and purse, leaving kids behind, never to be seen again. The cases are very similar. Divorce, husband last to see her alive, Right down to not allowing access to the kids and the husband not talking either. I just used Precious Doe as an example. The LE and prosecutors are considering subpoenas for the kids to the grand jury so that they can talk.
The similarities are chilling.

I thought Lisa Stebic’s body was found awhile back and she was the one that serial murderer John Robinson of Kansas was involved with. I might have the wrong person but several bodies were found in an old barn and the bodies were placed in large blue barrels. Lisa supposedly had a baby and when he disposed of her body, he gave her baby to his brother and sister-in-law to raise as their own and they paid him for the baby. Later, LE checked the DNA of the baby and deceased mom and they matched. I’m pretty sure that was her name. She met John Robinson on the internet. She was looking for a place to live and raise her child and she advertised either on the internet or put an ad in the paper or both. John Robinson approached her and asked her to move in with him and do cleaning chores and he would let her live there for free. Anyway, she must have been very guillable and trusted him and he must have made a good impression and she ended up mysteriously missing after moving in with him. After a thorough investigation by LE, they determined that he lured her into his web of deceit, lies and murder. I believe that was her name. Correct me if I’m wrong. I might not have the same person.

People are just plain crazy anymore or they have always been, we just never heard about it much like we do now. I believe deep in my heart that Renee will eventually be found. Alot of times, a fisherman will be fishing and they will come across human bones or something of interest will surface that belongs to a human body. There is really no closure until the body is found and an actual burial or memorial is done. Why people do not find other alternatives than murder we will never know.

Does anyone know if there are any old wells, bomb or storm shelters in the area by where the Pernice’s live? At one time, in the last 30 years anyway a lot of the area around there was farms. I lived just a couple miles from there at one time (about 10 yrs ago) and I know we had a well and septic tanks. This area was also known for having bomb and storm shelters underground. Does anyone know if the Line Creek area was searched? That is where he dumped the dog. That creek has some fairly well wooded areas along it as well as being close to their home. Just a thought. Don’t know where all the searches have taken place.

Just read in the KC star that they increased the bond for the gun stealing case from $25,000 to $50,000. That is good news. Also I read that Shon pleaded NOT guilty in the July 4th incident. Of course, he is in total denial of any wrongdoing. It is just a normal thing to drive intoxicated with your children in the car and then yell and make threats at a neighbor.

I also heard that Shon and his attorney are trying to lower the bond that is set now for the July 4th incident. Hope that does not happen. We’ll have to wait to see what happens to the creep. He’s probably working real hard to get out of everything. Good luck to him, he will need it.

Actually curiouscoe, pleading guility or not guilty at the arraignment has nothing to innocence really. It is just a legal move. Very few people plead guilty at the beginning. Very few. Even those who have confessed. That usually comes later in the legal steps.

I would say that LE is trying to find someone on here that possibly knows something about this case. Lurking might know something but has chosen to leave this blog.

What about information on the luminol positive blood they found throughout house and garage? What has become of this? They obviously must not have enough evidence to charge him. I always thought they were holding out for the last piece of the puzzle but now I’m beginning to think there was no puzzle to begin with. Shon outsmarted LE and everyone else around him to be point that no one really knows what happened except of course him and maybe one other member of his family.

I still wonder about Michael Pernice, aka Pernicci. He is back and living in same household as Shon and Mommy. Wonder is he has been questioned? I’m sure LE hasn’t left any page unturned. I will always hold out hope that one little thing may hold the key to the conclusion of this case.

Sam, LE can request IP addresses from the blog master. Having those addresses only tells about connection info and who the internet provider is. In order to link an IP address to an actual person is a bit more complicated. The internet provider has to be contacted(ATT, Comcast, Time-Warner-whoever)and usually require a court order to release this private information. In other words, the blog master could give me all the IP addresses in the world but the internet provider would NEVER give me any personal info about them. Also keep in mind that not everyone on here uses the same internet provider so collecting all that info is a bit of a daunting task. Internet providers have to have a DAMN GOOD REASON to release this information, it’s not done capriciously or by request alone. You’re paying for a private service. There should be no worry because it appears that most on here are telling the truth(which is not even a requirement for anonymous blogs, people lie on the internet ALL THE TIME). Also most have dynamic IP addresses(an IP address that changes whenever a connection is reset or severed)so tracking an IP address by date and time is no small task at any rate. I hope I answered your question adequately.

Also thanks to Det. Blehm for asking for assistance, this shows that he is still actively pursuing Renee’s case and I find that mildly comforting. So please people, it’s time for this family’s reign of terror to end. Enough is enough. Please let’s get every dirty detail about these people out in the open.(by this blog, a great deal of it already is). I am doing my part.
My thoughts are still with Renee’s family and thank goodness that they have those boys. I hope they have info that may help as well. After 6 months Marsha could have done a really good job on their little minds. Look at her three….

As for Luking, I have my doubts that this is even an actual person. Much of her ’story’ makes no sense. When ’she’ began talking about how Shon likes it freaky in the bedroom is when she lost all credibility with me. Druggies and sex maniacs rarely tell the truth and ALWAYS bend the truth to make themselves look good or to rationalize their actions. In fact, Luking’s story is so full of inconsistencies and nonsense that it smacks of Pernice-ness. The Pernices are the only people I’ve ever seen who weave such tales and lies that you never quite know if anything they say is true. Probably not even worth wondering about the truth in their cases, Lurking falls into this category as well IMO.

I agree with you A. Barstow that Lurking may not even be an actual person. I think it might be a set up or something to trick us and get us off track for which I think we have all smartened up and realize this is just a joke. Well the joke is not funny anymore and everyone on here (except Lurking, aka Michael Pernicci, Marsha, Shon or some other enabler well known to Shon) needs to focus on Renee and her family. Can we possibly get another search going in the woods behind the Pernice’s house, or in woods behind a womans house who heard loud noises such as an excavator right after Renee went missing? What can we do to keep this case alive and keep a search going? I still think that area (woods) behind Renee’s house should be searched again. Just a hunch. There’s just something so eerie about that woman that heard those noises behind her house that day shortly after Renee went missing. No one has ever said a search was thoroughly done behind this womans house. The woman got scared and went inside because she didn’t feel comfortable in her own back yard after hearing these unusual noises. Wonder if Shon has friend(s) that own a construction company that owns construction equip. such as a backhoe, excavator, etc.? Things that need to be thought about. I have a big feeling someone assisted Mr. Pernice when he got rid of Renee.

Shon is in jail yes, but mommy Marsha is still walking free. Why do you think that after taking the time and the money to set up guardianship for Marsha in Shon’s absence, she gave them up stating she was unemployed. Is that something new? No. She was unemployed when this whole ordeal started. So why give em up so easy? Maybe she doesn’t want her sordid history to come to the surface for all the public to see. Or better yet, maybe she doesn’t want to become the prime suspect. While I really can’t believe that Shon would cover for mommy to the extent of going to jail, I also don’t believe that he is smart enough to pull off any murder but specifically not the “perfect murder” by himself. Marsha has always been Shon’s greatest defender even when he gets caught in the act. How come she isn’t coming forward to defend him now? Afraid she might incriminate herself? Wouldn’t surprise me in the least if she isn’t letting Shon hang out to dry for something she did. Wonder if Shon is still bragging about being a headliner for the news while he sits in jail. He’s probably just sitting around whining about being wrongfully accused. Shon, you can’t blame anyone but yourself. You can’t pull all the crazy stunts you’ve been pulling since childhood and not expect it to catch up with you sooner or later. Since you love to brag so much, I have to wonder if you have shared your history of “molesting” your little brothers with your cell mates. Bet they would love that.

Det. Blehm, I too hope that you have had a chance to read both of these blogs in their entirety. This blog and other information that has been passed on to you will hopefully give you the piece of the puzzle you need to put all of the guilty parties behind bars where they belong.

The biggest question I have is, what could have happened in this most recent divorce that would have pushed Shon or Marsha to kill her. She filed before (2005) and I’m certain he would have had to pay child support then too. She must have discovered something really BIG. Maybe that is the piece of the puzzle we are all missing.

I wonder what information LE has that indicates Renee is more than likely dead? They have not ever released this information because the investigation is still ongoing. They have some type of evidence, but what??? Whatever it is, I hope the evidence points to one person (Shon Pernice).

As I asked earlier, does anyone know if the woods behind this woman’s house (the woman that heard digging in her backyard after Renee went missing) were ever searched? I thought I heard it was kind of close to the Pernice’s house but not sure how close. I know the woods behind the Pernice’s house were searched.

Lurking, I hope you are missing that special someone that you so dearly wanted to get close to after revealing on this blog that you had kinky sex with him. Hey Lurking, it’s interesting that you seem to pop up at a moments notice. I know you were given a lot of advice about how to proceed with Shon and you didn’t seem to take heed if you are getting with him anyway. I have one last piece of advice for you. If you are going to be Shon’s next victim, please for the sake of your daughter (if there truly is one), make sure you have lots and lots of life insurance. Like so many others do, I’m guessing Lurking moved on to another man very quickly after Shon Pernice. Maybe even while she was still pregnant with this daughter of theirs. Maybe the new man adopted this child as his own so there will never be a paternity suit because Lurking already has a baby daddy. Maybe the new mans family is why Lurking moved away to another state to live. Maybe they are the ones with all this money she spoke about when she claimed she was “doing well for herself”. Most likely the relationship ended because people never really change so if you were into freaky sex and drugs, you probably still are. Lurking probably spends a lot of time with animals. They don’t judge people or talk back so they are easier to hang out with. A farm would be a good place for her to live or hang out. If she really does have money she is probably the one paying for all of Shon Pernice’s attorney’s. Who else could? Shon Pernice and mommy aren’t working. Poor Lurking, what kind of family did you grow up in that hanging out with this type of family would seem acceptable? Or, does your family know? What would they think?

Prayers4Renee, that is a very good observation. I do now see that Lurking and lurking are probably not the same person because when you post something on here, your blog name automatically comes up after you submit your comment, I think so how could one be capitalized and one not be? Very interesting. It is also very interesting that Ellen or Nelle have not shown up on here lately. Could lurking be Ellen, Nelle, Marsha, Michael Pernice, aka Pernicci? I’m sure Marsha is keeping busy trying to find a way to get her baby boy out of the slammer. Get a job Marsha. After all, the boys are in Renee’s moms temporary custody to allow you more time to start stirring the pot. There is no reason why you can’t work and help in Shon’s defense is there? Maybe Lurking can send some of her so called “doing well for herself” money to help Shon out or she might have already. I just also wonder, like Craziness Abounds, what could have been different with Renee filing for divorce this time than last time that would make him snap? Alright, I’ve had about a gutful of Lurking or lurking or whoever teased us for months, promising we would all have “a face and a legal name” once she “took Shon for everything”. She promised she would pass along everything her P.I. had found out to Renee’s parents, she claimed that she had “granted” an interview with the cops, played all coy about whether she did or did not have a “love child” w/him. Claimed she’d lived in hiding for 10 yrs out of fear. Then claimed she left town “for Renee…why should she have to pay for our sins?” Read the old blogs…Fruitloops neighbor was the first to cast doubt on “her” story while the rest of us believed there really was a child and expressed deep concern. Which is when she went banana*&%$ and expressed love, concern, prayers for the pernices and followed up on NOT ONE OF HER THREATS/PROMISES. This is either a cruel hoax perpetrated by some sick blogger or someone on Shon’s side trying to set the stage for an angry ex being responsible for Renee’s disappearance. In either case: DESPICABLE. If Lurking exists in the context that she is Shon’s supposedly fearful ex and has his child, (which I highly doubt and invite her to PROVIDE PROOF), why, then, would she taunt and berate the hardworking investigators working Renee’s case? Why, as a mother, wouldn’t she cooperate w/ her child’s siblings’ relatives in order to ensure the half-brothers’ safety? Why did she go out of her way throughout the old blog to try to get people to ignore the Michael Pernicci/Anthony Pernice connection? Women who flee their partners out of fear (which is what she claimed) don’t usually taunt and seek to belittle the cops pursuing their abusers. Lurking is a complete hoax…but I do find one thing interesting about him/her. She disappeared a couple of months ago, never came out to play again until a detective made an open plea on this blog. Is her intent to distract? Also, who else in this crazy mess arrogantly and repeatedly criticized the police dept. response? Threatened to report them to IAB. Something in Lurking’s response to Det. Blehm smacks of Shon’s 9 min. uncut interview w/media. I’m not saying he’s Lurking; I realize he’s locked up and hopefully wouldn’t have access. But as somebody on here keeps saying (I think it’s A. Barstow) this family acts as a unit to destroy others. So, I think Lurking is a cruel fraud who has caused tremendous pain to Renee’s family w/empty promises.
It’s interesting that what Lurking can’t or won’t do (help, share info, be honest) is what angered her enough to come on this blog again. Detective Blehm made a brave and brilliant move to appeal to the world of bloggers who might have info to help the case and all of a sudden, Lurking comes out of hiding. I think we all know who’s behind Lurking. And I don’t think many of us worry anymore about some cyber-daughter that we seemed to care about more than Lurking. I can’t speak for everyone, but I think most of us on here welcomed Det. Blehm’s input and deeply appreciate all of their work in finding Renee. All of you who care about Renee and her sons are so appreciated by Renee’s family. You are trying to do your best to bring out everything that is known about this sick family headed by “mommie dearest”.

I, however, think that Lurking/lurking is a real person (you can use a different link (IP address) and type in a different name perhaps – such as if you go to the library and use a computer there?). I think the Liar has a benefactor that is HOT for him. Lurking likes kinky sex and she is probably getting a big THRILL (sexual, no doubt) hanging around with someone who most think killed another person, perhaps more. She may be involved with the murder of Renee. Remember, neighbors have seen a couple different women staying at the house for periods of time following Renee’s “disappearance”. She may be one of them who couldn’t stay away.

We will know shortly if there is a benefactor. If he can make bond, once it is actually set (maybe tomorrow), it will be because someone – other than his destitute family – puts up the money. I think if that happens it will be because his northern b!tch gave him the money.

I’m sure Renee did not know the depth of depravity of the Liar or his family or she would have taken her boys and fled to her parents, but this Lurking/lurking b!tch knows all of this and still wants to be with this b@stard (a true description since no one knows who his real father is). (I think he may have been spawned by the Devil himself!) That makes Lurking/lurking the same slime/subhuman as the Liar.

This is all my opinion. I hope he is not able to make bond and that no one helps him get out, but know this is a possibility.

Without going into much detail.. several parents, staff and teachers had heard where the boys were staying when not with Marsha before the Lockwoods got temp custody. Hope is was just to help the children but knowing this persons past actions cant blame us for being skeptical. Possibly another lead?

I take it that the boys were staying with someone else other than their dad and Marsha before Renee’s Mom got temporary custody-right? Just need to clarify this. Is this a relative or neighbor? I bet it was his girlfirend (Lurking) who came to town to help out probably. I am going to agree with Margie that Lurking is probably someone who is on here to distract attention away from Shon and is probably a real person that is helping Shon in some way. What a sick thing to do if that is the case. Maybe if you’re lucky when he gets out of the slammer, he will continue to have freaky sex with you and you can let us know all about it as if we really give a sh-t! The main focus should be on finding Renee and making sure that the boys are in a safe, caring environment which they are with Renee’s Mom. I am sure Shon will somehow find some sucker to bail him out of jail if Lurking has anything to do with it. So Lurking, are you still keeping count? You better try to keep up, you’re getting behind.

Skepticism is a mighty handy tool for someone like Shon and Marsha. I can’t even fathom anyone wanting anything to do with this family if they have heard any of the news or read any of these blogs. I hope you are right and that it was a good thing for the kids. I suddenly recalled all the places Marsha sent Shon “to get help”.
I hope they weren’t sent to any type of treatment facility, because Marsha has them hoodwinked. You see how well Shon turned out after many treatment facilities.

The children were at times with someone that one would consider a prominent citizen by title alone. We however know that no matter what title, past actions (not related to this case) have shown she only does things which are beneficial to herself. which is why has been questioned by onlookers could it actually be possible she and Shon were closer than should have been.

I am not listing names here nor will I.. its not my intention to drag anyone through the mud that may have actually have been there for the boys.

Just something odd and we all know how sometimes things can be right in front of our faces and we dont see because it is not expected.

I saw that Shon’s bail was lowered:(but to a $100,000 and if he can come up w/ 10 grand he will be out…he’ll be on house arrest..and have only supervised visits with the boys which I think is a really good thing:) I hope things keep moving right along and Renee’s parents are granted guardianship of them two boys…I agree w/ that he is a danger to others…

I wonder what will happen on Monday. Will Shon Pernice’s benefactor, the northern U.S. lover, who said her 10 year old daughter was fathered by him, bail him out of jail? Will the one who said he threw up his strawberries on his shoes come to his rescue? That remains to be seen. No matter what, the neighbors should be happy he has been behind bars for awhile. They should also know it is because people with courage and conviction stood up for themselves and what is right. If you cower to those who intimidate you, they win and you lose. ShonIsALiar, While I agree with some of what you said, namely about the courage of the neighbors, I think it very unfair of you to call anyone a coward when you don’t have all the facts, nor have you been the target of this family. The safety of your own family and well being has to take precedence over all else. I have seen the turmoil that these people can create for what seems like pleasure and greed. Now, unfortunately, Renee’s family is experiencing an escalated turmoil in that their daughter is missing and presumed dead. These people have stepped up their game and have now stopped at nothing to get what they want. You see first hand the hell they (Renee’s family) have been put through. To call someone a coward for wanting to protect their family from this is grossly unfair. You have read this blog and there are many many many people who have history ties to them and most have shared all the things that they specifically know about. Having read all of this, I was able to gain some insight into just how deeply rooted the evil and craziness is. I would have to seriously think twice and then twice again before I subjected my family to the wrath of Marsha.
Intimidation is an implied threat of violence or retaliation. These people obviously don’t stop with intimidation.

CrazinessAbounds, I would agree with you except for the fact that ANYONE can call the TIPS Hotline and ANONYMOUSLY inform the police about what they know. Also, there are ways to talk to the police without anyone knowing. I don’t think there is a good excuse for anyone not to do what they can to get people like the Liar and his family off the streets. Do you really think ANYONE’S family is safe if those who have information withhold it???? I think you are just fooling yourself to think concealing information makes you safer. Look at Renee, for instance. If someone would have told her all this dirt soon after she was involved with the Liar, most likely she would have left him long ago and would not be DEAD now! My opinion hasn’t changed and I won’t take back what I have said. I still think they are cowards if they have not told what they know to police.

I know many are feeling a bit uneasy knowing he could possibly be getting out of jail and free to walk the streets causing more problems.

I did take your comments personally as you talked about the neighbors and the ones that are cowards. I wasnt going to respond to your post thinking I must have taken your post wrong. But your follow up post to Craziness Abounds makes me feel I understood exactly what was meant. I have shared things here on this blog but felt like you were singling out things that I have shared and maybe that wasn’t your intention or maybe it was.. blogs are sometimes hard to understand the other persons true meaning.

Sometimes things are shared on a blog to get others reactions or even to have another that may possibly have seen or been told about something related or equally as bizarre and know that others have seen it as well and its ok to share with the LE or others of your speculations.

You come across as someone that does work closely with Renees family.. and when you stated that although all of the parents and staff that have been observing things over the past few months were way off base, no more was said here about it.. but remember when others do observe things over time with same 2 people eyebrows are raised.. people do talk.

Although I do still feel this blog is a very positive thing for all to help get closure for Renees family I will from here on out not post any opinions or theories discussed in our personal circle unless there is solid proof of strong facts backing it. For it seems others ideas are not always taken well and at times when things are shared the person is then made to feel wrong for ever saying anything. No names were ever mentioned here for we not only have to worry about any backlash from pernices there is also a fear of backlash for our children while out of our care (ie during school time hours)

Just because all the neighbors are not on the local news does not mean that info we have come across has not been shared with LE. ALL eyes are on him and his family all hrs of the day and night. Not all things shared with the LE are shared with the media.

I was referring to people in the neighborhood who have directly witnessed the Liar’s behavior and refused to cooperate with police, such as this latest incident on the 4th of July. I know several people did talk with police and the grand jury. There were others who would not. That is the type of thing I am referring to. I’m sorry I did not make myself clear. SIAL,Please tone it down. We are all here to get this thing solved. Shon did this, not his neighbors. Attacking everyone in sight is not the answer. I have emailed the tips hotline numerous times, told the information was passed on, and no one called. And I have served with Shon in the military. (I don’t care if Shon and his family is reading this. I’m not afraid of them.) So I don’t know if the tips hotline really works. We must stay strong and stay on Shon and his family. Hopefully, he will stay in jail and if he does, they move him to the general population. Then let’s see how fast he starts to talk. This is, and has always been, like a marathon race. We must have the endurance to go on, let’s not start attacking each other. That is what Shon and his family wants.

Hey Nelle/Ellen, since you seem to be so in the know about all this maybe you can explain why NONE of Shon’s family ever shows up in court with him? Most mothers can’t scream foul loud enough when it comes to their babies (guilty or not). How come Marsha isn’t screaming from the rooftops about how wronged her baby has been? She has all the other times in his life for much lesser offenses. How come his brothers aren’t telling what a standup guy he is? Where’s his daddy?
As far as your claim that many of us here are just jealous of Lurking, maybe you can clarify just what there is to be jealous of? I can’t speak for anyone else you mentioned, but I for one have only pity for Lurking for being taken in by this guy’s antics and potentially putting her child at risk. Surely she can find a decent man who is loyal, responsible and trustworthy.

SIAL.. i would like to say one thing and then please lets drop this part of it all and just concentrate on what can be done to help the situation at hand. We are all (at least most) on the same side here.. Let’s not argue about semantics.

You do not know that anyone is refusing to share what is seen or known is what I am trying to say.

While all this was going down several did take upon them self to contact personal lawyer and found out that full names and addresses would be listed on the legal documents.

Shon hung himself calling a recorded police line stating what he did and while many witnessed Shons escapades of the evening you are correct in stating not as many came forward in the way you would have preferred. But that by no means indicates that others didn’t make sure their voices were heard while still maintaining a form of anonymity. I hope this makes my position perfectly clear.

Goose13 and FruitloopsNeighbor, what do you suggest we do to try to move this along? We can hope he spills his guts to someone on the “inside”. What do we know right now? We know his family, who may be accomplices, obviously will not give him up, most likely even to save their own skins. What are some possibilities? He may have had an accomplice that he worked with at the fire station. He may have met someone at the Argosy (where he spent a lot of his time) that he teamed up with. If there is someone out there that is not part of his family, that knows what he did or helped him in some way, I don’t know why he/she would not want a piece of the $25,000. He’s locked up right now, so now is the time for an accomplice to turn in a tip, get a reward, and make sure he stays locked up. I think someone else is involved. I think he needed another vehicle besides his own for the transport. All my opinion only.

Hang in there SIAL!! While it may take time, seeing Shon in jail will be long overdue, but worth the wait. The icing would be to see Marsha there right along side him. As I have stated before, I never met Renee, but she sounds like a great gal that didn’t deserve even one second with a guy like Shon, or Marsha.
Justice for Renee-many months ago when I first posted, everyone thought I was crazy and/or delusional. I am glad to see that people are really starting to understand just what has to be dealt with here. My screen name does not refer to myself, it refers to the Craziness within Shon and Marsha. I have said before, I wish I had a dime for every time I’ve said to anyone of authority, “I know this sounds crazy” when I have talked with them about these people. I could probably pay for all the billboards and raise the reward ten fold.

We have to find out who helped Shon out. I really feel that the police should talk to his fellow firefighters. Shon likes to brag, so I think he would brag to them, since Renee, I’m guessing, would not be around them very often. The firefighters would know if he had someone on the side. Also, talk to his National Guard unit. He would brag to them also. I never met his brothers. Might want to find out his brothers friends and talk to them. If they are anything like Shon, then they like to brag. Since he was an EMT/Paramedic, I’m sure Shon would probably ask questions or brag to the hospital staff when he brought in patients. The emergency room staff of near by hospitals might know some things.

I am speaking for myself but by ALL means am I in no way jealous of Lurking because she has got Shon. She is going in knowing what he has done to others and so if anything bad happens to her or her child, she will only have herself to blame. How can I be jealous of that? I don’t even know Shon and from what I have read on here about him, I want to keep it that way. Why would so many people get on here and lie about him? Most of the info about him is in some way the same in that he is selfish, evil, womanizer, crazy, etc. etc.

Since you are NOT intelligent enough to realize that Shon has no sympathy for his own boys who are suffering without their mother or anyone else who’s path he has crossed, whatever might happen to you will be your own fault and no one elses. So go on and try to defend Shon’s actions or Lurking or yourself but it won’t work. No one really wants to be in Lurking’s shoes. If she doesn’t have enough brains to respect herself enough to think that she has to settle for someone like that, than she deserves what she is going to get and that is a lifetime of pain, loneliness and god knows whatever else he will endure upon her. Maybe she is just like him. Narcisstic, uncaring and as they say, birds of a feather flock together. So it is what it is. I feel so sorry for their daughter that will be brought up not knowing the difference between right and wrong, life and death and everything else immoral. What a waste and what a shame. And Lurking was only coming on this blog to get a reaction not to help find Renee or help Renee’s family with what she supposedly knew which now I think it was all BS except maybe the daughter. And I still am not so sure about that. Anyway, good luck to Lurking because she will definitely need it. I guess I value life alot more than Lurking and Shon. I’m having a bad feeling about Kelli Sharp. Why did she lawyer up right away just like the Liar when LE put out her picture? That doesn’t seem like what an innocent person would do. Wouldn’t you just cooperate and answer the questions if you had nothing to hide? Having an affair with a married man is not a crime, so why did she have to be protected by her lawyer while being questioned?

LE needs to press the “friends” of the Liar harder. Especially while he is locked away.

Lurking is suspect in my view too. She said the Liar was the father of her daughter and she obviously has feelings for him. She lied on this blog. She appears not to fear him even though she knows what has been told about him here and that there are lots of us who in our opinion think he had reason and time enough alone to murder and hide Renee.

I’ve heard there are a couple other “friends” that he has that are less than admirable that he worked with. They possibly helped him out. Someone should talk now and get some reward. They might need the money later, since when the Liar gets caught, we all know he will squeal like a pig.

A small thing I noticed today….I was driving through the Cliff Dr. and Gladstone Blvd area today. My cell phone got a “lost signal” notification 4 times in this exact area where Renee’s cell phone was found. Interesting! I use Verizon. Just wondering if anyone else noticed the same, maybe during the the Ride for Renee?

Maybe Shon or whomever helped him thought this would be a good place to dump her phone, thinking no one would find it and/or not trace it since the reception is bad in this area of town?

maybe shon called on a return favor from one of his buddies/accomplices from 10 years ago at the bar when he was also one of the last person seen dragging an unconscious, but still alive star boomer out of a bar (according to accounts online). there should be a police report and a list of witnesses who may want to be coaxed into coughing up testimony now that ol’ “no balls” pernice is locked up.

I was thinking the same thing of Miss Sharp. I truly believe if the police talk to his friends/co-workers/fellow soldiers, it will give them the pieces to solve this. They need to talk to Miss Sharp’s co-workers, neighbors and friends also. The pieces are there. Anyone who has have contact with his family in the last year, they should be contacting them. They need to check the firestations computers, his national guard computers, see if he went to the library and used their computers. LE needs to thing outside the box, and it will get solved. Also check Miss Sharp’s computer, if she has one. If Shon was seeing her, then maybe he went to her house in Overland Park. Did they check Shon’s cell phone that night??? See if they get any pings off of his cell phone.

I agree that Kelli Sharp should be checked out again. She was seen in the area where the cell phone was found the night Renee went missing. And as SIAL mentioned, why did she lawyer up so quickly if she had nothing to hide? Her ex-husband did say she was pretty crazy. But she is/was a school teacher which doesn’t mean she’s a saint but is a perfect cover up for the real person she might be. I have wondered before if Lurking is Kelli Sharp but she threw me off when she keeps talking about living up north in another state. Who knows, maybe Kelli Sharp moved up north. I bet Lurking is reading this and snickering. Everything to her is just so funny. She likes to play games just like her boyfriend Shon.

Goose13, you have some good ideas for LE and hopefully they have already checked computers where he worked and at home if they are doing a thorough job and checked his cell phone records as well. Since Kelli Sharp has an attorney, I don’t know if they checked her computer because her attorney is probably not allowing that. They are hopefully working hard on this case just like Detective said on here last week and not leaving any page unturned. In my opinion, research the woods by Pernice’s house AGAIN, and question anyone who might know Kelli Sharp, including her cousin AGAIN. Someone got rid of that truck and it probably looks alot different or it was sent somewhere up north or anywhere to be crushed or pushed into a body of water. Very interesting about cell phone losing a signal in the area where Renee’s phone was found. I’m not going to give up on Renee because Renee would not give up being a Mom to her boys. She was just taken unfairly away from her kids and family and now we need to get her back, dead or alive. All strip pits in the area should be checked out and possibly Shon’s family members or friends need to questioned AGAIN and asked the question “Where did Shon brag that he could hide a dead body without anyone finding it?” He supposedly told several people that. Someone could use some money with the economy being so bad so PLEASE if you know something, call TIPS hotline and collect your money. You can be anonymous. LE needs help. I know someone knows something. Please do what is right and lead LE to her.

Goose 13, thanks for the heads-up on the application for change of venue…I completely missed that as did local media, but then, that’s typical shon & marsha sneaky bs. Sam – great point about Amber Frey, the girlfriend in the Scott Peterson case. While she did have legal representation throughout (victims’ advocate Gloria Allred) she, from the beginning, spoke honestly in news conferences re: her relationship w/the murderer and her testimony (according to the jurors) sealed the deal for that particular murderous husband. So yeah, Sam…you’re absolutely right-if kelli sharp has nothing to hide why not come forward. Nobody cares if she was duped into an affair w/ a married man – we want to know her involvement in Renee’s disappearance. If there’s no involvement, no problem…go public.
BTW…is there anyone on this blog who was the last witness to seeing a missing mother alive? That ever happened to you? Has it ever happened to anyone here twice? In other words, has anybody on this blog been the last person seen dragging an unconscious woman out of a bar while injecting her w/some unknown substance, only to go on to marry and have kids w/a woman who also goes missing w/you being the last one to see her? Angel. Change of venue is requested if the plaintiff thinks he can’t get an impartial jury or feels there is too much press surrounding the case that might keep him from getting a fair trial. These cases are considered high profile cases. In this case, I don’t see how they can claim high profile when there hasn’t been steady reporting of any of this. High profile would be the reporting of the Michael Jackson death and possible homicide where they are running the story all day every day for an extended period of time. The press has not made any accusations, just reported the facts as they are known. Kind of hard to claim a need for change of venue, after he got on tv and granted interviews himself. As well as the interview with Washington.
This is just one more bid to drag it out. If I recall correctly someone blogged on here early on that he was bragging and proud of the media attention stating that he was “headlining” on the news while he was at a bar.
He probably realizes that his bs and lies will not fly in this area. The one thing he must be forgetting is that there are witnesses. This may be his way of getting back at the neighbors and witnesses for daring to speak out against him. So he will try to make it difficult for anyone to testify if it is moved to another location. My guess will be that they will ask for some out of the way county to cause a hardship, hoping that people won’t show up. BRAVO TO ALL THE NEIGHBORS!!! Stand tall and together and the truth will find it’s way to the surface. I will be shocked if the change is granted.

The case is definitely not a “high profile” case. There has been hardly any media attention given to this case except one or two times it was on Nancy Grace and then the local media had some stories about it at the beginning of the case when Renee went missing. That’s what I was saying earlier on this blog that this case has NOT gotten enough publicity and it should be out there because the case is actually just as interesting as Drew Peterson’s except Drew was a former police officer. Shon was an EMT/Fireman. Drew had more than one person mysteriously die and I hope he gets off the streets soon too because he also is a menace to society, crazy and women should stay away from him as they should stay away from Shon. Lurking, I hope you are listening.

I hope the case is not moved out of the area because I’m afraid it would be a big mistake. Shon is very manipulative and he’ll try to find a way to get one step ahead of the game. I’m thinking part of Shon’s concern may be there has been alot of attention given to this case on this particular blog. In his last interview he mentioned a “blog” with negative publicity which is more than likely this one and even went as far as to say he wasn’t very well liked. Wow…wonder why??? There is not much to like. Two woman disappear and he was the last person with them and people are supposed to accept that? Not. Think again. It’s not likely that he is going to have very many friends. Except Lurking and others that are confused with their own existence. Whether it be with a normal person or a “freak” like Shon. Some woman find it rather fascinating to date a “killer” or a bad boy who has been in trouble with the law a time or two. You hear about it all the time on Dr. Phil. They are just trying to get attention. Does that sound like you Lurking? You would do yourself and others a favor if you tried to put your daughter as your #1 priority and forget about keeping Shonboy happy. He may find happiness in jail. Hope he doesn’t bend over to pick up the soap. He might get back tenfold what he gave to his own brothers years before.

Can’t imagine anyone would be stupid enough to put up the $15K to get his sorry butt out of jail, only to lose it because he skips. I’m not sure, but don’t most bondsmen get to keep the 10% that is put up, after fines and court costs? Or is it different for that large of a bond? Bondsmen have to be making their money from something. Maybe if he skips on the state charges, the military will pick up the other charges for the fake id. Then there is no place to hide.
Hey SIAL- do you know if Renee’s family knows about Project Jason or the 18 wheels Project? PJ helps families of missing loved ones get their message out and distribute buttons and many other services, and the 18 Wheels Project is where truckers go out on a website and print off missing posters and distribute them across the country along their routes. We will definitely have to keep this one in mind if the punk runs. I’m sure the truckers would be a big help if he does. Plaster his ugly mug all over the nation just to ensure he has no place to hide.

Uh, people, a change of venue doesn’t always mean that the hearing is moved…it CAN mean that a jury from somewhere else is BROUGHT IN…therefore, not inconveniencing witnesses or media coverage of the trial or anything. Just a fresh perspective from folks who are outside the area of immediate media coverage being bussed in and housed during the trial. Y’all really get excited and jump to conclusions on here. SIAL- Thanks, hope they can get some new ideas or at least some additional support. As far as the bracelet, people have been known to get out of them, but they are usually very quickly detected. However, in that short period of getting free, detection, and alerting LE, he could be gone. I am with Goose on this one. I double checked my description and while TH is right and juries are “occasionally” bussed in, the norm is to move the trial. Historically, the trial is moved. You can google CHANGE OF VENUE and it will pretty much say the same thing I have said. Why should any of these people be taken away from their families and be inconvenienced for a little sniveling whiner like this? He made his bed…

Man, this guy just doesn’t know how to quit digging holes for himself! If he was in it to save money, that backfired. If he was in it to leave town, well, that backfired. If he was in it to collect on Life Insurance, that’s not gonna happen either. What a moron.

So, we’ve got a few theories, right? Kelli Sharp helped? Kelli’s cousin helped? Some other woman? Or Shon? Right? Okay, Kelli lawyered up with her UNCLE…so, I’m thinking that doesn’t actually qualify as her spending a lot of time or money researching a good attorney to hide anything. LOL!

Kelli’s cousin; who may or may not own a white truck; who may or may not have loaned it out; who may or may not have known what he/she was loaning it out for, if he/she had one… I’m thinking cousin would use same family member to lawyer up…but, that hasn’t happened.

Shon; the time line of events is just too different from one person’s recollection to another (as reported within the media). So, it’s hard to pinpoint what exactly the chain of events was precisely. He missed his national guard training thing that was supposed to be what, three weeks long? He seems pretty proud of his military career…I don’t think he’d want to miss it…time away from kids and nagging wife to do his skirt chasing? Instead, he murders his wife, has no one to leave kids with, and misses chasing tail and shooting off guns (purportedly two of his favorite things) to stay home and fall under public and LE scrutiny? A better alibi would be to actually BE at his little Army training when she did disappear. Then he wouldn’t be suspect…either he’s a poor planner, or very stupid…or simply enjoys repeatedly shooting himself in the foot?

I agree, the list of suspects isn’t very long…and it isn’t exactly full of masterminds…so we have a case of keystone cops with the criminals or we need to be looking at another, as yet unnamed, accomplice or altogether new suspect.

Since no doctors are missing from the area…I guess we can rule that out. That was pretty simple.

What is that that Sherlock Holmes would say, “when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth?”

Is it possible to be impossibly stupid? I don’t know.

What if it was random? What if the boogeyman does exist? Okay, I know Shon is a real piece of work…but, how many times can you shoot yourself in the foot? Sure, sure, he did it…but, how? How come? He didn’t hide that he was going to be moving out. He didn’t hide the divorce papers and try to pretend everything was fine. He didn’t hide that the marriage was rocky. He didn’t fight the police coming in with a search warrant. He hasn’t come up with an acceptable benefactor to get out of jail. He lost the kids. And, his daughter’s mother hasn’t exactly come screaming to the media about how awful he is, or filed to have his visitation revoked, or a restraining order… So what does she know about him? Were they looking at getting back together? This is just plain crazy. I guess you have to be a criminal to think like one. ‘Cause I’m just not getting it.

Not just with the girl’s mother, but with Kelli, and Shon, and his mother…has she spoken to police, does she have an alibi? Has it been verified? Why doesn’t she have a lawyer? The Liar, after THREE hours, decided not to call a family member and have them look after the two boys – or he could have just taken them back to the neighbor that he left them with that night. Instead, he gets the boys from the neighbor and goes and picks up his daughter from her mother’s house at the very time he was supposed to be heading for Omaha. Why would he think Renee was not coming back EVER after THREE hours??????

When a person doesn’t think like “normal” people, he can think his story makes sense to others because in his own mind it is sensible. A normal person, however, would not believe that his actions make any sense. He has been under the impression for years that his “lies” are believable. They only are if you are “in love” with him and want to believe him. Others who truly knew him were not fooled by his lies (Navy Seal my a$$!) but he still thought they were.

I like the new look on here. Been on vacation and am now back and see that nothing has changed since I left other than this blog. Shon is still in jail where he belongs and the boys are with Renee’s Mom which is definitely where they need to be.

Jane Doe, I have been replaying everything back in my mind a million times and I don’t understand after all of this time why LE doesn’t have enough evidence on Shon to arrest him for the murder of Renee. I realize there is not a body but there have been previous cases where there was no body but they had enough evidence to convict.

We never heard another word about the luminol positive blood that was found throughout the house and garage and you know LE knows something from testing they’ve done on it. Who elses blood could it be? It’s Renee’s and she’s gone and the puzzle all fits together but I know they need one other little piece of the puzzle to solve this case. I know more than likely someone helped him and they know where Renee is.

Since Shon is in jail, this would be a perfect opportunity for someone to come forward and put this thing to bed.

We don’t care who it is, they can call anonymously to TIPS hotline and never be revealed and spare LE and everyone else the time and trouble of searching and trying to find this woman. Her children deserve some answers and closure as well as her family. PLEASE do what is right and come forward. Just do the right thing for Renee and for yourself. You will be glad you did.

Neighbor2, about John Walsh on “Americas Most Wanted” I think that show is mainly for people that LE is looking for that have left the area and they are trying to find them. We know where Shon is. I think John Walsh might do a segment on missing persons too, not sure. But if so, that would be a good way to get this case some more media attention on a nationwide basis.

Richard, I agree that it would be normal to find all occupants of the homes blood in the house but I read or heard there was a significant amount of blood throughout the bedroom, living room, bathroom and garage. Why would there be so much unless someone was seriously injured or needed to go to the hospital?

There was awhile back a detective that made a statement on this blog that they are still actively working on this case but there are still alot of holes in the case. Alot of unanswered questions. I would like to know if anyone knows if Shon did give an excuse as to why he didn’t report to duty. Did he say it was because Renee went missing?

I hope and pray that Shon doesn’t get out of jail anytime soon. I think the boys are where they should be and counseling or intense therapy would be a good thing for them since they have been through so much. Has anyone heard anything new about Shon? I guess I could look on case.net to see when his next court date.

I think I am going to send an e-mail to John Walsh’s website about the Renee Pernice case and I hope others do too. Maybe if they get enough of them, they will put a segment on their show about this case to draw some mediat attention to it. It could use some after 8 months.

The blood in the garage could have been a number of things. A few being blood from either Shon, Renee or the boys. It could have also been from spoiled meat, etc. If forensics has not come back stating this was human blood, they probably wont.

I assume he is probably trying to get his fins wet in St. Joseph. They don’t know the case there and they don’t know him so he can go there and find some guillable girl that can take care of his ass so he can sit around and feel sorry for himself.

Where is Momma Marsha when he needs her? Did she decide taking care of the grandkids was just too much for her? Don’t see her fighting back or at least it’s not in the press. Hope the boys are doing great and will pray that they get to stay with Renee’s Mom which is where they need to be.

To change the subject, I saw a white truck with the lights on top just like truck shown in pictures on news that is possibly involved in disappearance of Renee. It was in Independence on approx 28th St. near 291 and 23rd St. in Glendale park area. Will drive by and get license #. I don’t think it is connected though. I don’t think they would drive it knowing it was a vehicle of interest in that case. Just curious and will still write down plate #. I bet owner has been approached about it before. It looks just like truck in pictures.

As far as AMW, it may not be the time for Renee’s parents to get involved in that. They still have the permanent guardianship case they are working on that is very important to them – and to Renee’s boys. Maybe after that is resolved – one way or the other – would be better timing. ShonIsALiar, you are right. It probably isn’t a good time for Renee’s parents to get involved. Thanks for reminding me of what is going on. Not that I didn’t know, I just wasn’t thinking about it when the “America Most Wanted” idea came up. However, I do agree that they have alot going on in their lives right now and they need to stay focused on what is most important.

Eventually we should get this story out in the public again so that everyone will keep it clear in their minds. Shon would want everyone to forget about Renee but we just can’t give him his wish.

Regarding the license plate number on that truck I saw that looks similar to truck possibly involved in disappearance of Renee, when I went back to get license plate #, the truck was gone. Eerie! I go by there often so I will keep my eyes open and have pen and paper in car ready to write the # down. Even though it’s probably doubtful that it is the truck of interest, it’s certainly something that cannot be ignored. I could kick myself for not writing it down when I first went by but I was in a hurry and thought I could swing back by on my way home and sure enough it was gone. Kind of gives me the creeps. It had the lights on top and everything. It was on an off street and not on the main thoroughfare. That is why I didn’t stop. Anyway, next time no excuses!

Neighbor2, AMW is a good suggestion and will certainly be a huge possibility for the future. I’m sure there are numerous pieces of this puzzle that will be newsworthy once the time is right. AMW would be a good venue for that exposure.

And, please do not worry about Renee being forgotten. She had too many family and friends who loved her to ever let that happen. If the Liar, Shon Pernice, thinks Renee’s family and friends will ever let her “disappearance” be forgotten, he is even dumber than he looks. For some reason, in his warped mind, he thought they would buy his “she just walked out of the house” story. Curiouscoe: Even better than writing down the license number, take a digital photo of the license plate and the truck. I carry a camera in my car for that purpose and have photographed several white trucks that look somewhat similar to the surveillance photo. Law enforcement can decide whether or not it is of value.

I think the AMW could be a great oppertunity for renee’s family. I realize they have a lot on their plate right now but sometime it can take awhile before it even airs. We have the news clippings on-line along with other pertinent information. Maybe if someone could volunteer to send the info to AMW, that would be great. I do know Renee’s family said in the past that they were going to begin searching again for Renee’s remains as soon as the vegetation dies back this fall. There are several areas that they have identified that are possibilities. I do not know how well horses would work in these areas as they are mostly wooded. I do feel confident saying that they would be grateful for organized help when the time is right. How much lead time would Equisearch need? I would be happy to discuss this with Renee’s family and let you know what they say – assuming you are willing to take my word for it. If not, both sets of Renee’s parents’ numbers are in the Greater Kansas City area phone book, if someone wanted to contact them directly about this.

They are very organized and do alot of research before they begin and also they work very close with law enforcement to decide where to start searching and where all they will search. I think it is a great idea to get Equisearch involved. They have done alot of good things so we definitely should give them a shot at it. ShonIsALiar, when you find out anything, keep us posted on here as to when this search will take place and where? We need to keep this case alive and out in the public eye. I think Lurking is helping the Liar. Boy is she in it way deep. Two lawyers? He is struggling to keep his head above water. How can he afford to live in that house I wonder? After all, that was Renee’s house. I’m sure it wasn’t paid off.

Amazing how Renee, (the strong one) loses her kids, family and house and Shon is still reaping the benefits of being married to her.

Hopefully not for too much longer. I have a feeling something or someone will crack open this case and Shon will be indicted in the disappearance of Renee. He has gotten by with it so far but it is just a matter of time and he will f–k up and something will be revealed. I hope it is sooner than later. People like him get what they dish out eventually. I think Lurking could be involved with Renee’s disappearance. She may be one of the women who neighbors saw at Renee’s house early this year. She has stated on here that Shon Pernice fathered her daughter and she has treated this serious situation as a joke. I think she is a real person and that she most likely paid for his bail and could be paying his attorneys too. After all, she bragged about having money. I think she is a lot like the Liar and cannot help but call attention to herself.
Also, I agree with you about the feeling that something is going to happen to move this case forward. I also doubt that Shon Pernice will be able to stay within the conditions of his bond release. After all, it looks like he thought Renee could just “disappear” and he would be free of her, have her house and her money and not have to pay child support and no one would notice or care. He is delusional.

Thanks for keeping an eye out for the Liar. I had a thought that maybe Shon Pernice can afford his multiple attorneys because they are not charging him anything. Maybe they know he will be charged at some point with Renee’s murder and they will get a lot of free press at that time and they will get more clients as a result. It would not surprise me at all. At this point, anyone that can do anything to get this case out there and in the public eye, would be doing a great service to Renee’s family and friends.

I’m sure Renee’s family appreciates all the help they have been getting to open awareness in this case and possibly get just one person to come forward with information.

I believe Lurking was the other woman too that might be somehow involved. She finds all this amusing and likes to play cruel games. I hope it backfires on her. In one of the prior news clips where a small child is in the background while Shon is giving an interview to a TV station, we questioned whether it was a girl or a boy. Well maybe that was a girl and it’s Lurking’s daughter that was at the house. Who knows. Just a thought.

Where is the brothers Michael and Anthony when all of this is going on? Are they helping their brother Shon who supposedly violated them in their younger years. Why can’t they come out now and reveal the truth? If they know ANYTHING about Renee’s case, I wish they would open up and tell what they know.

Curiouscoe, I know how painful this is. I know this blog has slowed down but that IN NO WAY means that anyone has forgotten about Renee. There are many things being done to help her children and family. Unfortunately, everything cannot be revealed. Please be patient and please don’t think ANY of us has given up or that this case it ‘too old’. None of us has given up hope or stopped working furiously to get justice for Renee, her family and her children. And I will repeat what I have said before: Renee’s family and friends will never rest until the person(s) responsible for her murder – and we all know who that is – is tried and convicted. Those responsible will not get away with this. IMO

If the Liar’s family members had any sense they would be talking to LE, because when he goes down they will follow. Accessories to the crime or accessories after the crime. I’m still here and plan on staying here till this thing is solved. If his family does not have any money, then who is paying the bills?????? Unless the family has a secret fortune somewhere, I think that might be a key to all of this. Who is paying the attorney fees, the house payment, car payments??? I looked at the court system and he is not being sued for forclosure. So where is the money coming from??? Three attorneys is not cheap. Did he post bond with a bailsbond??? If so, who co-signed on the bond?? Right now everyone has to step back from there emotions take a deep breath, and look at this. I have never met Renee, but it sounds like this is what she would do. I’m sorry that it appears I’ve been absent or that I’ve given up. I have not. I must confess, however, that when Shon bonded out (AGAIN), I began to despair of anything ever being done to stop these people. While I understand on a rational, logical level that the judge had to lower the bond for legal reasons blah blah blah, it just proved to me, yet again, that the Pernices are (and always have been) beyond the long arm of the law.
Shon Pernice, Marsha Pernice, Steve Pernice, Michael Pernicci and Anthony Carl Pernice are the absolute dregs of what humanity has to offer. This would have been true of them whether or not Renee disappeared in January. I, and many others, knew that the Pernices were malicious dirtbags prior to January of ‘09. Curiouscoe, I salute you for keeping up the good fight: please understand, however, that there are those of us who have watched Shon and his psychopathic mother manipulate LE, social services, and everyone else for decades and I, for one, have had a goddamned gutful of these monsters. This crap has gone on for YEARS; the Pernices have cut a wide swath of crimes, grifts, scams and cons that have obliterated entire families, marriages, individuals, careers, children…the destruction they’ve caused is horrific and huge. And guess what? Law enforcement was repeatedly warned about the danger these people posed. Social Services was contacted regarding Marsha’s instability in mothering (to put it lightly!). Anyway, nobody in authority listened to reason or common sense back then and the situation seems to be repeating itself. Jeez, it appears that these slimeballs have even been able to outrun Karma, thus far. Marsha and the boys VERY successfully played the system and made absolute monkeys out of the KCPD for years and appear to be continuing in that vein. Am I the only one who finds it hilarious that Shon refused to cooperate w/ cops re: his wife’s disappearance yet called a press conference when he didn’t think they responded quickly enough to his drive-by “spritzing”. (He felt violated because he thought one of his neighbors may have possibly sprayed him with a wine cooler). What a wuss. Anyway, he SICKENS me. His “mother” sickens me…the WHOLE PERNICE Crime Syndicate sickens me. And I pray for justice soon.

Thanks, Margie. I know what you are saying. It seems that justice is no where in sight when it comes to the Pernices. They get by with too much and LE can’t seem to get enough on them to convict. Also, Curiouscoe, you raise the spectre of Shon’s ability to pay for 3 lawyers. GREAT QUESTION!!! I’ve been wondering myself and have a couple of theories: Have they taken out a 2nd mortgage on Renee’s house to pay lawyers? Can they, legally? Did these lawyers take the case “pro bono” (free) because of the national media attention they would garner if Shon is accused of murder? You can’t buy publicity like that and it happens more frequently than decent people would like to think.
Speaking of decent people, I wonder what the good citizens of St. Joseph Missouri ever did to deserve a devil like Shon Pernice on their payroll. I will readily admit, I do not know all the facts however this is what I do know: On the same day he was granted a “change of venue” for both court cases (with “no objection” from the prosecution) his house arrest was “amended” to allow 2 AA meetings a week and transportation TO AND FROM ST. JOE MO for employment. (See Missouri casenet, type shon pernice for litigant search, click docket entries, then FIND all, and go to the last page.) If ANYBODY knows who in St. Joe is employing Shon Pernice (WHY, WHERE, WHAT FOR ETC.) please let us know. I think that the good people in St. Joe need to be warned. I read on the KMBC link that one case to be heard by Greene County jurors is child endangerment and threatening the neighbors. Whatever happened to “witness tampering” which, I believe, is what warranted the felony charge. Has witness tampering been reduced to just threatening the neighbors?

I wonder if he even has a job at all, let alone in St. Joe. He may have said he is trying to get a job there and the judge gave him the opportunity to be able to travel there. My opinion is that he just wanted to get a wider area of travel – probably so he could continue scouting women who may not have heard of him or to continue thieving or whatever else he thinks he can get away with. Maybe the court is just giving him some more rope so he can hang himself. He’s good at that.

Although I have never written on this blog, I read it every single day. Renee is in no way being forgotten. Nor is the case too old. I am a family member to Renee. I can tell you that the pain and hurt that her family is still feeling shows no signs of her being forgotten. Everyday I wake up and touch the purple wrist band that I refuse to remove until we have “Justice for Renee”. I then pray that this might be the day that this nightmare may come to an end. Looking into Renee’s 85 year old Grandmothers eyes and see the hurt she feels for her child that has lost their child. A grandmother that just can not begin to understand how anyone could harm such a sweet, wonderful, gifted and loving young mother, that she loved so dearly. The thought that it could possibly be the man that we all welcomed into our home is hardly a comprehension to a grandmother. Her grandfather being so confused and saddened by her disappearance, that I believe, left this earth to watch over her. As our family gathers for holidays or special events, there is no possible way to dismiss the very obvious absence of our Renee. As we hold hands in a circle prior to our meal and say
thanks for the food that we are about to receive a
dry eye can rarely be seen. Holidays-something that we all used to embrace with joy are now dreaded. Every “first” without her in our lives is a very sad occasion. As both of her families and close friends have gathered to do private searches, the emotions run strong in everyone out there. Looking through deep woods, rocky areas, trash etc. for a loved one is the worst thing that you can imagine. And as you are searching, you know that someone knows exactly where she is but won’t confess. I am not her mother, father

Not having closure or a place that we can even visit as her resting spot , is painful, hurtful and unfair. And there will only be more ahead of them as they get older and gain an adult understanding of this horrible situation. How sad.

Thanks foodforthought! Your post really moved me. And it is true that no one has and will forget Renee and will ever stop looking for her. I sometimes get frustrated about the whole thing but I have got to be patient. I know in time, justice will be served.

I cannot even comprehend the pain and suffering that the family is going through. With holidays coming and going, it’s got to be hard without Renee. It has been 8 months and not a trace. The only thing of significance to the case was the cell phone found in the Northeast area on Cliff Drive by a homeless person. But that didn’t even really give LE any new leads into the case.

As far as Shon working in St. Joe, I have to agree with ShonIsALiar, he probably doesn’t have a job there but a wider range to go scope out new chicks that are not familiar with the case. Everyone around here has already heard about it. And the judge obviously doesn’t know what this man is capable of. Hope no other female comes up missing in St. Joe.

I know that Michael Pernicci/Pernice has been mentioned on here several times. Well, I have received several emails from him this week. He wanted all comments mentioning him to be removed. I told him no. This has only set him off! He tried to tell me that he was a minor so I needed to remove them as I did not have permission from his parents. Well, that was a flat out lie. He also gave me a name and number of an attorney: Ross Sircia at 816-668-1234. Has anyone ever heard of him? I could not find him listed as an attorney anywhere and the voice mail message was not for a lawyer either. So, I believe there may be something to him knowing more than he has said as some of you have said. But, I wanted to share this information, as it may be relevant. It has been reported to law enforcement as well.

Michael Pernicci/Pernice is Shon Pernice’s half brother. He legally changed his name from Pernice to Pernicci, I guess to distance himself from the family (Wow, how’s that workin’ out for ya, buddy?) He was spawned by the devil herself, Marsha Pernice and Shon’s equally repulsive step-father Steve Pernice. Curiouscoe, don’t worry about Lurking providing a life for her daughter. Chances are very good that she does not have custody of her daughter.

Her profile is just like the profile of Shon Pernice. A person who is proud to have kids, but would rather not mess with them. After all, kids require time and giving selflessly. And the Liar, Shon Pernice, and his girlfriend, Lurking, are selfish and only have time for themselves. They are in love with themselves. The world revolves around them. I would bet big money that someone else is raising Lurking’s daughter.

Lurking likes danger. There are women who get a thrill out of being close to bad men/murderers. She is one of them. I would guess Lurking paid the bail of the Liar, Shon Pernice. Maybe we should encourage her to continue paying for his jams. Then when she runs out of her money, he will dump her for another person he can con.

Does anyone know anything more about that Kelli Sharp girl that was the teacher in Ks that may have somehow been involved in Renee’s disappearance? I know she lawyered up which made it look even more suspicious. That was strange that she was seen in the area of where the cell phone was found in that white truck.

I agree with Shon-Is-A-Liar, most of the time liars lie but sometimes they tell the truth. The sky is blue with white clouds today Lurking so what color is your sky? whoknows, what we all want is to find out what happened to Renee. We want the responsible parties to come forward and do the right thing. If we have to humiliate these people in the mean time well, I don’t believe any of Renee’s family, friends, neighbors, co-workers and especially her boys and their half sister asked for Renee to be taken from them or to even be put in the public eye. If it wasn’t for the skum bags that know what has happened to her we all would be doing more productive things with our lives. Her family continues living their lives to a higher standard than the skum bags. Does anyone realize just how many people have been affected by the lost of Renee? Even though she has been gone now for 9 months her family can’t even grieve properly. Yes, there is a lot of anger out here. Last I checked, anger is one of the processes one must go through in order to grieve. Were you close to Renee? How are you dealing with the loss? Would it be easier knowing what happened to her 9 months ago so you could wrap your head around all that and maybe then move forward with the grieving process and deal with all the other issues the situation has created. Are you able to go through each day without thinking of what a beautiful person she was AND what happened to her? Do you breakdown thinking about her family and what they must be going through each day without her and again dealing with – the not knowing? whoknows, we don’t like to shift the focus off of Renee but it’s certain people that return to this blog to try to shift the focus off of her that bothers me. Certain people that support Shon when it is pretty obvious Shon was more than involved in the disappearance of Renee.

The only people we want on here is people who are willing to provide information on what could have happened to Renee or what might have happened or what DID happen. I truly believe there are people that have been on this blog that really might have a clue that could possibly lead LE to find Renee. But maybe they are scared or they don’t want to get involved. Any small clue is better than no clue at all. We need someone that might know something to reveal what they know and they can remain anonymous. They need to contact TIPS hotline if they know ANYTHING. Renee’s family needs closure so they can move on with their lives. Not that they want to move on without Renee but as time goes on, they have no choice but to move forward. We don’t want to attack anyone but if they come on here and they want to cause problems, they can just go somewhere else because our main focus is finding Renee. It always has been and always will be. Sorry if you think we enjoy attacking people but it’s not true.

I completely agree with what Heartbroken and Curiouscoe wrote in response to your post. If you are concerned that people such as Shon Pernice, Michael Pernicci/Pernice, Anthony Carl Pernice, Marsha/Steve Pernice or Lurking are being attacked on this blog, please let me assure you that your concern is wildly misplaced. Not one of these lying scumbags have publicly expressed any concern for her safety. Nor have any of the Pernices raised a finger or a penny towards the fundraising effort spearheaded by Renee’s parents. And “whoknows”, here’s the most important reason that these people don’t deserve your sympathy: from the very moment (THE MOMENT!) that Renee’s family sensed something was wrong, what did the Pernices do? Search the neighborhood? Call her friends, her work, relatives? No. They started calling law firms and refused any communication with law enforcement when she’d only been missing a few hours (according to Shon). No, “whoknows”, I’m reserving my sympathy, thoughts and prayers for Renee’s heartbroken children, family and friends. I respectfully suggest you do the same. Trust me, if any one of the Pernices wanted or needed your sympathy they would out and out steal it from you OR hatch a scheme to scam you out of WHATEVER it was that YOU had that THEY wanted.
You may say that that’s an attack but I consider it giving people a head’s-up; you know, like when there’s a wolf among the lambs. Except wolves aren’t as vicious as the Pernices.

I have a very heavy heart today (tears). I just can’t train these dogs fast enough. You see, I am training cadaver dogs (live tracking too) so we can find the missing. I just can’t do it fast enough. I want it all done yesterday. I want these “missing” people returned to their families.

Margie, you are right on. No one is attacking anyone on here. If anything, the Pernices are trying to stir up something because that is their nature. Misery loves company so if they are miserable, they want everyone else to be miserable with them.

What we need to do now is spread some positive energy around and pray that something breaks in this case which will help in the investigation. It’s been 10 months now and I doubt if Renee ran off with a “rich” doctor and that she would be gone all of this time without checking in with her boys which she dearly loved. It is my understanding that Renee was a wonderful mother that was always involved in her boys lives so that story is what it is, just an unbelievable story. Shon, couldn’t you have thought of something more believable?

Shon boy, I hope you are not sleeping well at night knowing what you did to her. I know you read this blog probably daily and I hope you know that maybe you outsmarted law enforcement and alot of other weak people but you can’t fool the man upstairs. He knows what you did and you know what you did. I hope it haunts you everyday and every night. May you burn in hell!

Neighbors, is there any sightings or comings and goings at the Pernice house? Any new faces or any new vehicles coming and/or going? Haven’t heard much from neighbors lately. It appears to be real quiet right now. Shon probably thinks it will eventually just go away and he can move on with his life without a thought of what he did. Shon, the day is coming that you will have to man up to what you did to Renee. I hope it is soon! I will continue praying for JUSTICE FOR RENEE.

Not only to put this to rest and give her family and friends the closure that they need, but to get her murderer behind bars before he can do this again. The Liar believes he cannot be “caught” for what he did to Renee. He continues to lie and open himself up to the consequences. He probably doesn’t realize that he stated several lies in the Alonzo Washington interview. Also, he stated several lies in the Channel 5 interview when he claimed the neighbor threw a drink, etc., etc. on him. These statements are on tape so he can’t deny them. He has also lied about having PTSD. His lawyer stated that so he must have told his lawyer that. He had a fake Navy Seal badge at the house that proves he lies about who he is. This is just the tip of the iceberg with his lies. Why would any jury member believe anything he would say after being presented with all his lies?

Whoever owns the truck – and you know who you are – you better own up to it now. This Liar always trades in his “friends” for the good of himself. You are a fool, friend of the Liar. You are only a bargaining chip when the time comes. In case you haven’t gotten it yet – because you have not come forward, you are an ACCOMPLICE. And if the Liar can figure out how, he will try to pin Renee’s murder on you to save himself. Do yourself a favor, turn yourself in now. You will be found – unless the Liar gets to you first. Wow, ShonIsALiar, you couldn’t have said it any better! The owner of the “White Truck” needs to realize Shon only looks out for himself and if it means sparing himself from going to prison, he will pin it on you.

The time will come that Shon will give some of it up to save his OWN -SS! I hope White Truck owner you realize what you have gotten yourself into. Lurking, I hope you are reading this blog everyday so you will realize that Shon is just a total dirtbag that just uses people to his own advantage. You will eventually see that we are right. If you ever knock the scales off your eyes, you will see he is in it for himself and no one else. Just thought I could spare you some time. You are definitely wasting time with him. I just wanted to let you all know that I’ve been glued to this blog about Renee and everything else I can get my hands on since July. I had absolutely no idea about this tragedy until my husband and I were in Kansas City in July and I saw a billboard with Renee’s picture plastered on it. I made my husband turn around so I could see it again. Sure enough, I knew that sweet face. I went to KU with Renee and we were a couple doors down from each other in the dorms.

I can’t believe something this awful could happen to someone so bright and cheerful. Maybe I didn’t know Renee for a long time, nor did I keep in touch after I left college, but for that time we were at KU together, we sure had a lot of good times. She didn’t have a mean bone in her body and she was always laughing and smiling.

I’ve lost so much sleep and many of my thoughts are about Renee and her family. I’ve prayed and prayed for them. I just can’t fathom that someone can be so cruel to take a beautiful person like her from the world. Who could be so selfish? From all I’ve read, I have a good idea…

I just hope those involved, in any way, with her disappearance will step forward and, for once, do the right thing. Wouldn’t it just be easier than living a life of cowardace and lies?

I hope law enforcement and all those helping to find Renee can be successful. I pray for that for closure for the family and all those that care for her.

PrayingFromNebraska, thanks for sharing. I didn’t know Renee but I have stayed close to this story in hopes of finding JUSTICE FOR RENEE.

I couldn’t imagine a families heartache in a situation like this. It just touched me because so many people knew Renee and ALL expressed nothing but good memories of her. I believe you when you say she didn’t have a mean bone in her body. Unfortunately her path crossed with someone who does have mean bones in his body and has no remorse for taking Renee away from her children, family and friends.

Also Sam, I think when Renee filed for divorce, Shon freaked out thinking about having to pay child support for two more kids and probably alot of other things. However, you might be right. Maybe Renee had a secret she was going to reveal and he made sure he silenced her. Since he had supposedly molested his own brothers, why wouldn’t he do the same with his own boys? The history of it would make sense. What a sick, sick person. Under no circumstances should this person be able to be out in society to do the same to others. And God knows how many there might be out there. We are aware of two so far. There might be more that he got by with. He is a dangerous person. People need to steer clear of him. Has anyone heard anymore about putting a story on AMW (Americas Most Wanted) or missing persons with John Walsh? It’s been awhile but I was just curious if Renee’s parents thought it was a good idea.

I can tell you all avenues are being pursued by Renee’s family. Renee’s family and friends do not intend for this case to get cold. Rest assured – and I have said this many times – their will be JUSTICE FOR RENEE.

He definitely does have alot going on in 2010. That is good. That will keep him on his toes and maybe he will get tired of all the court dates and who knows what will happen next. Hope he has a good attorney because he will need good defense. All I care about is that Renee’s family gets some kind of closure. It won’t bring her back but at least they will feel somewhat better. Neighbor2, Repo had posted after the post you mentioned that she/he could not complete the form because AMW had indicated a family member must submit it. I have passed the information along to Renee’s family and I’m sure they are following up on it. They are also following up on TES. These things can take time – too much in my opinion – but please know that Renee’s family and friends are leaving no stone unturned.

I would also like to pass on to all who support getting “Justice For Renee” – whether it be from submitting tips, talking with law enforcement directly, reporting on happenings at Renee’s home/in her neighborhood, keeping an eye out for the truck, or from supporting the effort physically, emotionally, financially, and/or with suggestions on how to move forward – that Renee’s family is very thankful for all the help, thoughts, suggestions, prayers, good wishes, and all other support that has been given.

I’m sure he’s continuing to drink. Does he think he is above the law or what? It appears he doesn’t care if he breaks the rules or not. He doesn’t even care about taking a life.

If their family member or someone they were close to came up missing, I’m sure it would be different. Anyway, no need worrying about them. They will definitely get what is coming to them someday. They are just too stupid to figure it out right now.

Thanks neighbor2 for keeping us updated on the Pernice residence. They hasn’t been much activity lately because Shon has to keep his cool since it’s getting close to upcoming court dates. I don’t think he can hold out too much longer. We’ll sit back and watch.

Yes, Neighbor2, in my opinion he is capable of murder. If I were you, I would not worry about pictures of the Liar’s trash as Shon Pernice or Marsha Pernice or Michael Pernice Pernicci could be watching. They are reading what we post on this blog.

I’m also certain that LE can handle getting evidence if they think it is worth it. It is clear to me that LE is following this blog, too.

On the other hand, please don’t assume that LE knows everything you imply by what you say here. Please cover your bases and at least inform them of what you have observed. Do not let the Liar know who you are, but please do know that LE is there to work with you.

Once this bastard is behind bars for awhile, everyone will rest a little easier and, hopefully, those who have reason to fear him (remember, it looks like defenseless women are who he confronts) will be able to come forward and tell the truth of what they know.

My opinion is that he has an uphill battle in his gun theft trial. I think he can get as much as 7-10 years for that. Then there are the 2 counts of witness tampering that are felonies, so they will carry multi-year sentences too.

Lastly, in my opinion, it is only a matter of time before he is charged with Renee’s murder. I believe we will get Justice for Renee!

Truck owner – give it up. You have no idea what trouble awaits you if you do not contact LE immediately. Which do you prefer – reward money or a charge of accomplice to murder? Your silence says it all!

Great info ShonIsALiar. I agree what you told Neighbor2. Don’t worry about the trash because they will be watching, that is a fact.

The worst thing you could do is get in a position where he can come back and try to pin something on you which he is totally capable of as he did with the other neighbor that had their gun stolen. He is always trying to make himself look like the victim when what he has done to others is something he claims he did NOT do.

Save yourself the time and let LE do their job and hopefully they have alot on him for a conviction in the disappearance of Renee. It’s eventually all going to catch up with him. He will slip up or make a mistake and there you have it. He is one evil person and not to be trusted.

Renee is out there somewhere and he knows where she is. It’s all about him and he doesn’t care whos life he takes. Don’t get involved. Keep an eye on him and call LE if you see something suspicious or something doesn’t seem right over there. His time is coming.

Is there going to be any future searches for Renee or has LE exhausted their options as to where to look? Just curious. I still wish LE would take another look in the woods behind that woman’s house that told the police that she heard digging behind her backyard right after Renee went missing which this womans house is very close to the Pernices. She went out in her backyard and heard something in the woods behind her house and she was so uncomfortable about it, that she went inside and made a call to the police. I’ve heard sooo many times where LE has had searches done in areas that is where they ended up finding them later. Remember the Porter family? LE already looked in those woods where the two children were buried more than once and because those woods were so dense, they missed the area where the bodies were buried. This was in Sugar Creek/Independence area. It happens all the time. Can someone contact Tim Miller to see if they will search thru that area? It’s been 10-11 months since Renee went missing. What else can we do???

thanks curiouscoe I guess I’ve been watching too many crime shows. I though that if law enforcement called you “downtown” that you had to go downtown. With him not cooperating though, it just shows that he’s got more to lose than to gain by talking to them. I can understand anyone getting a lawyer early on also, but again the lawyer would advise him to talk to the police if “they were interested in finding her and solving the crime.” Which apparently they are not.

Richard, I’m sure his attorney has talked for him because is such a chicken sh-t. He doesn’t have the balls to talk to them. He’s already as guilty as sin but evidentally LE doesn’t have enough evidence to convict him.

I still wish someone would come forward about the truck that was used that night. The key might be the truck. However, by now the truck was probably taken somewhere and burned up or pushed into a body of water. The cell phone being found on Cliff Drive makes you wonder if he had a relative or something help him. I bet there is more than one person involved. No one ever heard any more about Kelli Sharp’s cousin that might own a white truck.

I have a wierd feeling he weighted her down somehow and put her in a body of water somewhere. It will be hard to ever find a body since it’s been so long. Each day that goes by will make it even harder. The only way she will ever be found is if someone leaks out information and it gets back to LE. It could be several years. I know LE isn’t giving up and they will continue to search for her but until she is found (if ever), there is no closure for her family. It’s just so sad. I know several years back when a convicted murdered (Richard Grissom) kidnapped 3 girls and he was seen on bank video footage with one of the girls and he killed them and there bodies have never been found to this day. He is in prison and he’ll never reveal where he put them. He’ll probably get out in a few years for good behavior. Sometimes life just isn’t fair.

“Is there going to be any future searches for Renee or has LE exhausted their options as to where to look? Just curious. I still wish LE would take another look in the woods behind that woman’s house that told the police that she heard digging behind her backyard right after Renee went missing which this womans house is very close to the Pernices. She went out in her backyard and heard something in the woods behind her house and she was so uncomfortable about it, that she went inside and made a call to the police. ”
Curiouscoe, I remember searching that area last Jan when they made the search back there and nothing was found. BUT, if you would like to meet me there, and hopefully if you could find out a little more specific area, I would be more than happy to search with you! There is a park back there and I think it is surely public land and we would have no problem just going back there. LET ME KNOW! I am retired and could go just about any time,

Richard,
I do not know if the Liar, Shon Pernice, talked with LE. I would bet if he did, he was quieted by his attorneys very quickly. I do know he has not cooperated with LE.
As far as searching in the woods by Renee’s house – I was told by someone who I will not name – that LE thoroughly checked out the issue of the woman hearing someone digging.
Please realize that things may be known by the police that others should not know they know.
Have patience. We will get justice for Renee!

Neighbor2, the Liar, Shon Pernice, is most likely taking his trash to a dumpster somewhere rather than chance that LE will find evidence, now that he knows people are watching his trash. If he can hide bodies, he should be able to hide trash, too.

Neighbors, does the Liar leave the house regularly? What about his mommie, Marsha Pernice, and his brother Liar, Michael Pernice Pernicci? Are you seeing them around?

There will be more searches for Renee coming up. They will not be announced. Renee’s family does not want media attention on them – if that is possible.

Veteran’s Day 11/11/09

How can a person serve their country (proudly?) and then turn their back on finding out what happened to their wife? Wouldn’t you say she has served her country in the worst kind of way.

Richard, I don’t think I will go searching behind that womans house because I don’t know exactly where she lives. I just heard about it.

I will leave the searches to LE and I might assist but I will not go alone. I am not retired so I don’t have alot of time on my hands but I would be more than willing to assist if I learn where the searches will be. I will continue to hope for JUSTICE FOR RENEE. It’s nearing almost a year since Renee disappeared and I know for sure her family and friends miss her dearly.

We will not give up hope and as ShonIsALiar said, have patience, they will get JUSTICE for Renee.

We haven’t seen his mom for a while we see his brother driving mom car sometimes but not much from them.We don’t see him much only to mailbox and back in but never by himself there is always somebody with him either mom or brother Michael.
