I have now heard enough of these gang members! Due to an “internal squabble” amongst gang members, this innocent 12 year old boy is now dead, after a Molotov cocktail was thrown through the window of the Estrada-Juarez family home. This family had just moved to Mundelein to get away from the gang problems of their old neighborhood. Most of the family was able to get out of the home, but they suffered serious injuries and were treated at a local hospital and are still in there, not in good condition.
The three gang members were arrested and all charged with one count of first degree murder. However, if any of the others die from their injuries, more first degree murder charges will be added. Other charges are being considered now, as well. My guess is at least attempted murder, arson, aggravated assault and gang related enhancements where possible. The violence from gangs has gotten out of hand. Killing each other off is one thing, but innocent children? These men deserve the death penalty and I hope the State goes for it. It is an outrage that gangs can firebomb or shoot at anyone they choose to and get away with it. The State needs to not be afraid of the gangs and take care of them.

Well i just wanna say that i know they did some stupid shyt but no one knows what exactly what happened, u realy dont know why they did it,!! some of them knows what exactly happened i know these guy edwin hernandez wouldnt do anything like that especially kill a family?!, i dont think so!!! , like for example he could be in drugs i know edwin hernandez rigth now he could be quilty for what he did or not, okay well if he did it and they throw the bomb he wouldnt know that the family was there the mom and the lil kid and the girls he wouldnt know they probably would it be thinking that the guy was there alone like by himself u know or they could it be thinking that the house it was alone and no one was there and only the car was there u know but in reality u realy not know what happened u know and yea i feel bad for the lil kid u know but i realy im not that kind of person that judge the people for what they did u know only god will know what to do with them and hopefully that the family juarez hope they feel better well to get better how they are u know but still i dont judge edwin hernandez ill keep saying more stuff about these guy later on

He is a gang member, and that is unacceptable regardless of whether you know him or not and think he is such a nice guy. Maybe to you being a gang member is OK, but not to decent society.

they did it because it was their mission to do so.. the guy they were aiming for was not mr. innocent as people make it seem he was out in the run from these guys obviously for a reason which im not going to discuss. ive known these guys little over a couple months now and neither are capable of doing such crime, when i heard about this i was just as shocked as every one else… do they deserve life? no. it was just a misssion gone wrong.. neither attempted hurting an innocent boy.. but it was done.. so who knows.. if you knew these guys , yes they were gang bangers, but if you had the chance you would instantly connect with them. i miss them. =[

Just a mission gone wrong? This was an innocent young child that was killed. It is more than a mission. Do they deserve life and you say no? Then what on earth do they deserve? Just to say sorry, wrong target? Actually, they deserve the death penalty and I hope the State goes for it. It fits the parameters for a death penalty case. Their lives are not more important that Jorge Juarez, who was murdered before he really had a chance to live.
And I seriously doubt I would instantly connect with them. They are gang bangers. They do not live a life of law and justice. I could never connect with a gangbanger who cares so little about a life that is not their own. If you look at them as some sort of victim in this, then there is something so wrong with the way you think and believe. And please, go and tell this young boy’s family, his mother, his grandmother, etc. about how these gangbangers deserve better than their child or loved one. To their faces. If you could do that, then you are just as much of a sociopath as these killers.

These 3 slobs deserve the worst of punishment to come to them. My sister went to school with the youngest and hes a piece of shit. Wannabe hard ass that trys to act tough 24/7. Gangs are weaker than people think, they just have to mindset that they are the shit. They are deffinately going to jail and i would like to see them in there for a long time. Yeah I too knew and at one point of my life lived with them. We became really close and even called each other cousins. Jorge will be missed terrably. I can’t believe Iwas walked the same halls and even next to that Edwin guy..if only I would have known what he was capable of. I don’t hope they rott in jail..because that way they still get a chance of a type of life, the chance they did not give Jorge Juarez. They should be given the death penalty.

y0 unlike mostly probably all of you saying that you know who they are and bla bla bla. I actually did know who they were i use to chill wit edwin and elver all the time. I may not know that one guy but i also know the family that it happened to. Well the kid that they were after. Edwin was a good kid, he would get into trouble. Yea, but i wouldve never had thought he would do this. Elver he has been in and out of jail for the past few years. But also, i wouldnt of thought he would do this. The family, the son, i knew him since i was little and his family didnt deserve this. I dont think they deserve the death penalty but they should be in prison like how they are. And as somebody else said, this was a mission that had gone bad. But, they werent after the family, they were after the son. I have all respect for the child who was lost, and the family members that had lost him. I wish your family best.

jorge juarez was one of my best friends. he was such a sweet heart. i loved him. 2 of my bestfriends died in to years and he was one of them. i miss him so much. why do things like this alwayz happen to the good people. he was so quiet but he alwayz talked to me. i really do miss him and id give anything to have him back in our arms but i have a prayer for him……………O God, bountiful in forgiving,

I knew all three of them they were never killers n never acted like it but they acted like hard asses. i lived right next to rafe (the guys house who got burnt down.) my dad was the one to catch the mother as she jumped out of the house i remember waking up to flames. n edwin saying he is so glad he finally showed him a lesson. In elver was sorry he cut all of his gang tatoos off n wanted to kill himself. Its horrible they ruined there lives. N rafe was not even home you too an innocent life. rot in jail. You made a big mistake. R.I.P. jorge. you will be missed. N we all love you.
