The child needs to be removed from her custody & should NOT be given to any of her family members – I fear they could fail the child just the same. I can’t imagine giving birth to a little baby & letting it be tortured by anyone – the Mother is sick & needs help while serving jail time. The boyfriend shouldn’t see the light of day again – he is a violent pedofile who can’t be let back into society.

the death penalty is no solution. Make them work. Make them break their back every day for the rest of their life. In this case, it may not be enough, but at least there is a chance they would understand.

Just give me 2 minutes with mom. Every time she see’s a 3 baby she’ll go into convulsions, I promise you. Oh, I hope there is an attempted murder charge coming down. Let dad out in population with the hardened criminals who actually LOVE and miss their children. Justice served. This mom is in the same circle as Casey Anthony and should be treated as such. This is where I think the argument of castration can be made. Clearly this man is beyond help & to ensure that he never commits a crime like this again, castration should be part of the solution.

Make them work? Why? So they can get out and hurt more children 10, 15, 20 years from now. If thats how you feel let them come live with you and your kids. They don’t deserve to breath the same air as me.

I know that everyone believes what they read in the papers and what they see on TV, but these are not all the facts. I understand why you all feel the way you do and if i didn’t know richard as well as i do i would think the same thing, but i have known richard for 16 years and i have never known him to hurt anyone. This isn’t a plea to change how you feel, i just hope you can take what i say into consideration. I just talked to richard face to face about 2 months ago and I saw no lies in his eyes, but i could be wrong. I’m not saying he did or didn’t do it, i’m just trying to stay open minded due to the fact that he was like my older brother for many years. Thank you.

It is easy to say that about someone you know, but remember, just because you know them does not mean you know every single aspect of their being. I knew my brother. I would have said the same thing, until he molested a child when he was in his 30′s. But knowing him before that, no one would have thought it possible.
