While all of this may be true, what does it really matter to this murder? It DOES NOT. David Ragsdale may have been abused while he was young, but that DOES NOT excuse or even explain his behavior in killing Kristy. He was an adult and knew what he was doing. He made a clear choice to kill her. I do not feel sorry for him. My sympathy lies with Kristy, her children and her loved ones. They are the victims. NOT David.
