  1. this lady should be ashamed of herself

  2. Jana,

I hope you are talking about Carolyn Correa, as you did not say who should be ashamed of herself.

  3. Is she still in jail. And what about her other children where are they at

  4. Of course Jana is talking about Carloyn Correa,, DUH?? That was a stupid statement. I will add that ashamed of herself is not even good enough. She should HURT!!!I can not imagine how this mom felt for 6 years. There is NOTHING more special than bonding with your baby, and this woman took that away from her. I think she should spend the rest of her life in jail watching on TV how happy this little girl is with her REAL mother. I think it should be rubbed in her face every day for 6 years and she should HURT like she hurt this mom.

  5. I love the story not only because it has a happy ending, but becuz even if it means you have to stand alone, if you feel that it’s right or the truth than you should. And against all odds her faith push thru.

I think this is one of the most inspiring true stories that affected me the most, becuz i actually got angry. I wanted to punch that lady for stealing a child. I mean how cruel can you be to rip a mother of that kind of love. I think the story is very enlightenling. It shows that things don’t just happen on tv and ‘it can happen to you’

  6. I think this woman is as twisted mentally as they come. For Heavens sake there are many people who would have adopted out their child to her. 14 years is not enough time for the torture that the family suffered and the lost memories. What happens when she get out and decides to do something like this again or even worse. She has already been arrested before in Tampa, Fl for Arson!

  7. I think this story makes you give hope and faith another chance. I have a daughter that is six and I couldn’t imagine what Luz went through. Faith is the love that mother has and love is the bond that holds us to our children. I hope that that her kidnapper stays in jail and is punished.

  8. I think true love destroys every doubt people had about how this girl would adjust to life after the lies. Children are so absolutely resilient and can put us doubters to shame. (especially all those child welfare people). It’s like the intense love and energy her mother had all those years in longing for her daughter was understood the moment Delimar heard the truth and looked into her REAL mothers eyes. As she gets older and more mature and possibly one day becomes a mother herself, this understanding and acceptance will only get more powerful. I have 3 children and know this bond is unexplainable. Ladies, if you really want a kid that bad, ADOPT ONE!!!

  9. i love what i seen it is so said how the woman was that made that you had a beautiful baby and she could not i am 13 years old so how is the little girl now? is she still 6 or 7 i would love to see more pictures of her i had chills when you found your little girl do she think her name is aaliyah or not is the family back to gather to be a family. i would love to hear back to see how you and the little girl are. i life in Tampa fl

  10. I think she must feel very stupid. Why would a person even would want to do something like that. I can’t imagine myself tryimg to fake a child’s then trying to raise it as her own. She deserve to be in prison. She put Luz Vera through too much.

  11. Carolyn Correa how could you do something like that. I don’t even know why you did it. That was a baby you kidnapped. Then you tried to fake her death. How could you!!!! You are an animal. You are a monster with no control. You need to rot in prison. You should be ashamed!!!!

  12. I wonder how the little girl is adjusting………
Did she reunite with the father as well?
    Where are they now?

  13. I loved this movie/story.:-) Luz is definitley a strong woman, I am glad she was so persistant! She is the perfect example of how real a “mothers intuition” can be!

  14. carolyn needs prayer from all of us: ask god to lay hands on her, to rebuke the demonic spirit in her. we need to pray for her salvation and hope that one day she comes to her sences and ask forgiveness not only to those who she has hurt but as well to god. and as god forgave us for all of our sins i hope we all could forgive. as for luz and delimar and the entire family may god continue blessing the family and protect you all from any more harm. god bless you.

  15. Love of a “real” mother will fight to the end. I onoly wish that the child ’s father had given more support and had the same stubborn hope

  16. I don’t honestly think that a million prayers would help this baby kidnapper. What kind of monster, especially another mother, would take a baby from a mother at ten days old and set a fire so the mother would believe for eternity her child was dead. Only a vicious monster with no soal could do this. I don’t think she could ever be a normal person who should be allowed back into the public. I pray for the family of little Aliyah/Delimar, I hope for them much happiness and patience for each other as they likely struggle for years to come attempting to repair the damage caused by this monster.
