if this could have happened because the baby was dropped? Medical examiners say only if it was dropped from a three story building.
I am still disgusted. No word on when the preliminary hearing is yet. And it appears that they were so excited about having this baby that no pictures exist of her. Very sad. And for those of you who swear that they could not have done this, can you now explain reasonbly how she suddenly received such a violent injury? Do not use emotion to justify your opinion. FACTS just the facts. And then explain why their stories do not match at all.

Any recent updates? I’ve no doubt the couple’s going to serve time.How sick are these people? I assume they didn’t even get to hold,and show affection to the poor baby.First chance they got,they killed her.What a crazy World we live in! Life would be so much happier if people like them didn’t exist.Or if they do,then they shouldn’t have children at all.My heart goes out to the poor baby,who’s in a much better place.Maybe God wanted her sooner,before they start abusing her.Now this may sound silly but,I do feel for the parents.Little did they know they will end up murdering their child,go to prison,and live in misery.But no matter what,justice prevails.

This to the Bonnie, I would like to respond to your apparent opinion that Albert and the wife are guilty of murdering their child. First of all Albert, who we call Omenged, by his Palauan is Palauan, grew up in Palau which has is currenty populated by 21, 000 people. Therefore we pretty much know everybody. Like everywhere else we have crimes, some more common than others. But beating a baby to death is unheard of in Palau. Yes, there has been incidents of heinous crimes, but killing a newborn child is not one of them. That is why many of the Palauans that made comments support the parents. Yes, we have the Coroner’s Report and all, but mistakes can happen on their side too. I, along, with all of Albert’s family know him well enought to know he would not harm his own newborn child. I can tell you that I see your perspective because I am both American and Palauan, but I know you cannot possibly know ours and how we view this tragedy, because you have no clue who or what our people are, and how we think. In my culture we can really be hard on our kids, and have no problem seeing the bad for what it is. If Omenged is capable of such, we would admit it. In my opinion, the only way for them to be quilty, is if mental illness or drugs is involved. I am telling you, having the first child is a very big occasion in Palau, it comes with the hot bath ceremony for the lady, and Palauan Marriage tradition. I am telling you, I believe those two are not guilty, what in the world would their motive be, when their status is only promoted by having this child? Not to mention, loving her too. It is so easy to judge other people, but put yourself in my shoes? If the accused was your nephew whom you know so well, would you be so quick to judge him? I know we need to stay with the facts, but the facts are not all there. Have a tragedy of your own, then you will understand. Or maybe you have seen too many tragedies and so it is quite easy for you to believe these newly married young couple coming from this little island in the Pacific, who joined the military seeking opportunities, would go to the states, awaiting the birth of their first child, just to murder her. Maybe that is a common reality to Americans but not to us Palauans. Thank you for your time.

Listen to Lavonna. I have been through a major tragedy myself. So don’t try to throw that in my face. And everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Don’t come on here and try to tell me to change mine, because it is different than yours.
By the way, if my nephew or ANYONE in my family murdered someone, I would NEVER condone their behavior. I might support them as a loved one, but I would not go around spouting off about how innocent they are and how this should not be happening, etc. As a matter of fact, my brother tried to kill his wife and is now spending 14 years in prison. I support that consequence. He must take responsibility for his actions. I also have friends who have been in prison. I can see both sides. I am for justice for the victims. I am also a Constitutionalist. I believe everything must be done right, even for the guilty.

I feel sorry for Albert and the wife because I have seen soooooo many documentaries on how life is like in U.S. jails. At least Albert will have a companion because most likely he will be someone else’s girlfriend in there. And so is the wife. They deserve it. If it were up to me, I’d make them suffer even more.

Okay, I hear you all. I have been corrected, Ashley is not Palauan. My first reaction was of course is he did not do it. If Albert did, he sets precedent for Palauans in this particular crime. Yes, facts are facts and as I was thinking about it last night, the head trauma could not be possible from some regular accidental falling. It is very sad, of course, because I am a mother myself, for the Mckenzie to have suffered like that. I am hoping to keep updated and of course I am on my nephew’s side not for the crime but in hopes that he is truly innocent. And if he’s not, he has to face the serious consequences, and maybe get some kind of help. Thank you for your concern for baby Mckenzie, may she rest in peace, and may the truth come out. May her parents have the courage to own up to whatever they did.

I am a proud Belauan (not Palauan as you think we are) and my ancestors were the greatest warriors and that was the way we were and before you open your mouth, please think about your race or your roots. you are mean and it shows that all you care about is the updates, but not a sympathy to baby MD. Baby MD is Belauan and i guess you don’t care since she is one of us. May she rest in peace and not be bothered with someone like you. I think you want revenge from one Belauan.

Hannah is right about Palauans.Most of them have low self esteem.And I’m talking about those who were raised back in the islands.I have been to tons of Palauan parties,and it’s like 9 out of 10 times,the police get involved.Seems like island people (most Pacific Islanders) act like barbarians!
Shy,stop being so defensive about things.Yes,you are a proud Palauan,and that’s a good thing.But learn to face the facts.Don’t expect to hear all good things about you and your people.People from other countries have their opinions about Palau and it’s people,and they’re not all good ones.You have to learn that most people don’t really let “bad experiences” go.Most people like to judge mostly on the negative instead of the positive.You feel my drift?

Your too quick to criticize me with all these nonsense and never once showed any sympathy to baby MD. i guess she’s from Palau too, so you don’t care if she died, at least you get your updates. Your comments are too childish and i don’t blame you cause you got nothing better to say, and i wish i was who you have in mind just like you describe above. You just hit the wall and don’t you get it? I’ll repeat it again, ENOUGH SAID! if it makes you feel better that i am a fatty, that is just fine with me. Oh, i am one happy palauan lady who enjoy her job for a non-profit organization (waterkeepers). Job is a job when you are getting paid but a jobless is worst then mediocre.
About my visit here, it’s not just this particular case i look at or come everyday to see. Mylifeofcrime (MLOC as i call it and hope it’s a okay with Bonnie) has so many intresting articles, links, and etc that i found to be useful and intresting and you should check it out. This website made me learn more about domestic violence that i learned more to be able to do better and understand when i do my volunteer work for a Shelter called My Sister’s House. Cultures are diffrent but the abuse are the same and i came to learn why women never tell when they are the victims. I know you, probably think i why should you care.
You got some issues and god knows what, but i reccomend that we end it here before Bonnie tells us that these arguments are not related to the topic, so e-mail me if you want, maybe we’ll get to meet one day and share are thoughts like two adults. i don’t get angry on little things like these and start my criticism, because I need my anger to those who thinks they can do whatever they want to ruin the environment and all the bad people who are doing bad things that are not acceptable.
Again, take your time to explore the whole site and not just updates on these two loosers.

Of course I feel for the innocent baby that died. THAT IS WHY I’m interested in getting to know updates of the case.I want to know if the parents were proven guilty.Do you understand what I’m talking about?

I was wondering why it’s almost a year and these two couples got no updates on their case. Is there any one that can tell us what could be the reason why we haven’t heard anything for almost a year? is it that might be saying ” i did it”
to protect one of them? Why are the sheriff’s office or who ever have assured everyone that they are doing all the investigation or had done the investigation so it’s only up to the AG. I am not familiar with the law so please help me to understand. I read some comments above and i got the number but too scared to call the sheriff’s office cause i don’t know what am i allowed to ask and not to ask. here is what i thought i could ask, so let me know if i am allowed to or not.
1. This is _______ and i’m calling about ……. do i do that?
2. What if they ask why am i calling and all that questions on am i related to them or what iss my relation to them?
3. Are they still there?
4. their court date?
5. their attorney if they got one
5. can i call their attorney for updates?

What two couples? I am confused by your question. For this murder, there is only one couple, the parents, that were arrested.
And all court information is public information, so if you call the jail, they will tell you that these 2 are still there. If they have the court info, they will tell you. Otherwise, call the courts. They will tell you when their next court date is, if one is listed.

I got some answers that never mentioned in here from an officer where the suspects are held.
She said that their bail were $75,000 and after they plead not guilty at the recoder’s court, they were bound to the supreme court. So it’s all on the judge to schedule their court case. It’s almost a year and eho knows, it may take more days, months, and years.
just my little investigation and anyone can call to get updates or if you want to write to the couples, they’ll give you the address to write.

The ignorance throughout there comments is really sad. I have worked for the FBI for ten years. I have come across several infant murder cases and I am still no expert. People who we believed were guilty were actually inocent and vice versa. The bottom line is Americans as a society have become obsessed with being concerned about things that have nothing to do with them. Unless you are one of the parents or GOD then you have no idea what happened. God will be the defendant, the prosecutor, the judge, and the jury in the end so unless you have some divine way of knowing what happened, which you don’t, then you need not speculate. And that goes for either sad of issue. Because they turn up not guilty then everyone who thought they were will likely just say that justice wasn’t served and I am sure the friends and family will feel the same way if they are found guilty. So to put it to you from a detectives point of view, the evidence will tell the child’s story and in the end every opinion on this page will holdthe same value it always has held, none.

As a former FBI agent you should be smart enough to know that if this baby’s skull was crushed, (which is the case here) she could not have done it to herself. Common sense, as an FBI agent, SHOULD tell you that either one or BOTH of the parents are guilty. There’s just no eway around it. It has nothing to do with “being God” as you proclaim. Furthermore, the parents, the child AND God were the only people present. Being that the parents are liars and “don’t know anything”, and being that God won’t come down here directly and tap you on the shoulder and say “who did it”, we must use the evidense along with our common sense. Common sense states that Baby Kenzy did NOT do this to herself. And since we KNOW God didn’t do it……………………need I say more?
