I feel such sympathy for those families whose lives have been destroyed by the racism, jealousy and premeditation of that stupid fool that had no conscious. I hope they throw the book at him. Hate crimes shouldn’t be tolerated and no trial should even have to take place. I hope his family suffers most from his selfishness and stupidity that led him to do such a hanis crime. I also hope President Bush sees the damage he has caused in his term leading people to feel no way out. I guess for Diamond, he doesn’t have to worry about how his rent will be paid in the future.

I knew Reggie for 10 years. we work at the same place.. He was the most caring man i ever met. I only met Angel on the day of the shooting. my heart goes out to all the families of these two men… Everyone knew Rob was a walking timebomb. Now our taxes will have to pay for his rent!!! How is that right? I don’t understan how anyone can hate someone because of their skin color ? I myself am a white woman and i see no color!!!

Robert was a walking timebomb. He has slipped through the mental system for many years. I have witnessed his peculiar behavior personally. But he didn’t want to take his meds and he didn’t understand that you can’t drink and be on these meds. Thank goodness nothing happened to my family member while she lived with him for 4-5 years. My heart goes out to these families. I hope he gets the maximum. He best not get off on temporary insanity because it was not temporary

Angel was my and everyones favorite uncle, our family has lost the most important, influential person, he was ever so loving and caring I’m personnelly suffering from my loss, no words can describe how me and my entire family feels givng this asshole the death penalty may seem what he needs, but in reality this mutherf%$@$# needs to spend the rest of his life in the prison population, with blacks and us puerto rican, that way he will suffering everyday just like me… I miss my uncle, he will always live in my heart… Tata if you hear me I love you and miss you dearly until we meet again, I love you and we will meet again… So until then I’ll keep myhead up like you taught me and keep moving forward, its hard not seeing you, i LOVE YOU ALWAYS ROSIE

I grew up with Robert and he was never right.sad to say.My father also said he wasn’t right.I have seen many crazy things done by him but he was always a good friend that akways stood by my side and my friends as well. His family never offered much for him to depend on and he was always “on his own” I do not approve of anything he ever did but he was always a good man and a good god fearing person until he turned about 18 or so.I stopped talking to him when my daughter was born in ‘95 because he openly shared values of religion that i never agreed with and i did not want that around my child.he is NOT a nazi type guy though.but he was a different kind of fellow and i never did like it.I never wanted to see a friend do something like this but he does get what he deserves and life in prison would be more fitting for him as he could get a death sentence and not care…..that’s how he is.

I knew Robert when I lived in a house with him in Bristol, PA.
At that time I had nothing at all in my life and the only memories I have of the man is him helping me find a job and buying me lunch and stuff like that. Seems such a sad case of what he did to those people. I hope he gets what he deserves but at the same time shocked because I only knew him as a caring person

I feel extremely sympathetic to the victims and their families. This is a horrible tragedy. I know “BK” (poster from above) and I also knew Robert Diamond. There has been a lot of media hype surrounding this story which villainizes Rob even more than he should be. What he did is absolutely inexcusable, but he was not a racist person. You should know that he would do anything to “get to” a person with whom he is arguing, and he has the intelligence to cut right to the core when he needs to. So I could see him using racist phrases to achieve some effect. But that was not the type of person he was when we knew him, and I am sure that “BK” would concur. I believe that his state of mind has not been in good health since the mid-nineties, and I believe that is the most crucial point here. I am not trying to suggest that an unhealthy mental state is an excuse for violence, but I am stressing that it is more important than the media’s hype about racism. It is much easier to hate someone who is racist than someone who is mentally unhealthy. So be careful when you believe everything you read. Don’t get swept up in sensationalism to the extent that you want to send a guy straight to the electric chair because some reporter decided that emphasizing the racism angle would get more publicity and reaction. It will not bring back those who have unfortunately died, and killing yet another person does not make the situation “right”; it just leaves another person dead.

I was at with the day of the shooting.By the grace of God I was in another department. I clocked out and walked out the building. A minute later a co workers wife drove up to the side walk frantically and her daughter starting screaming somebody call the cops somebodys been shot’ my heart dropped so fast I ran in the building and told the plant manager. by then the cops were there. I for some reason was admiring angels work habits all day because at the time he was sent up to work in my department. I remember looking at him for the last time with a grey shirt his cap on backwards and reading what appeared to be bianca tatooted across his neck. I remember reggies name being called over the loudspeaker that whole morning and then the unthink able happens. this man once looked at me in the most physcotic perverted way and I never knew he was until I saw him on tv that nite. he gets what he deserves. I hope he is put to death!! He put my family in danger my friends in danger and every bystander in danger. it still hurts so bad knowing that two great people had to die. my deepest sympathies will always be with the woodsons and guadalupes.
