Update: Caylee Anthony: Phone Call?

Check out Trench’s post. I had not seen this. Very interesting. It made me recall a comment on my first post about this missing child. Could the grandmother know more than she is saying?

Did Caylee Call?

    Thanks for the link Bonnie.

I am the missing persons blogger at http://www.officer.com. I think publicizing missing persons and unidentified human remains on the web serves as an excellent vehicle for saving lives and giving families closure.

  3. Mary Says:

I don’t understand the motive that Caylee Anthony’s mother had in not contacting the police until her daughter had be missing for 5 weeks. What is even hard for me to comprehend is the Grandparents and Uncle. I gather this family lived in approximately the same area, and the Grandparents did not question for weeks where their grandchild was?? They are as accountable as the missing childs mother.

  4. amie Says:

i would think this desperate grandmother would like to believe caylee is still alive, at the same time believe that her daughter is not the monster she appears to be. if caylee is never found, she may find herself believing anything that comes out of caseys mouth, in order to not lose her granddaughter, as well as her daughter. very sad story.

  5. Tess Says:

Grandma is in denial. If she faces what is happening not only will she have to face the loss of this precious child she will have to take a look at her part in it. And that would be that her daughter is a monster and she raised it.

I’m not blaming. Just knowing as a mother that I would feel responsible in some way for having raised this child that became a monster. I would question everything I had ever done as a parent.

  6. Readbetweenthelines Says:

I think saying the mother is a monster is Harsh.. I think there is MUCH more to this story than we the public or the media knows. I think the family does know more than they say. Believe me if your child was in harms way or going to be you would do WHATEVER it takes to protect them. Even Not contacting the police. I think the child going away with someone somewhere could be a way of protecting her from whomever can get her. I will watch this story and would’nt be surprised when we find out this was a way to let her child get far away from who was going to take and hurt her. Then we will see who the monster is!

  7. Ellie Says:

    Oh puhleese…Readbetweenthelines!!!

Even if Caylee’s mother owed some drug dealer money or they were going to harm the little girl…she had her parent, grandparents, and an organization known as the POLICE, that would have helped her protect her daughter!!!

Caylee’s mother is a sociopath, and a chronic liar! It is already obvious that she cannot tell the truth. She can’t keep her stories straight for as much as an hour! The mother is TWENTY years old…you don’t get this crazy, this young, unless there is something mentally wrong with you. I think she went off her meds, (accidentally?) killed her daughter, and tried (very poorly) to cover her butt, by blaming non-existent people at non-existent addresses.

The parents/grandparents are clearly the enabling type, and are obviously in a state of shock/denial. The apple didn’t fall far from the tree!

  8. Linda Says:

Good grief. Is this whole family mentally ill? I’ve never seen so many people in denial at once. I have no idea why they can’t get it together enough to for once in their lives—tell the truth!

  9. JerichoJenny Says:

I have to agree with “Readbetweenthelines” up to a point. We don’t KNOW what the truth is. There may be someone Casey’s parents, police, and social services would trust that Casey is afraid may harm or molest Caylee. Just look at all the children who have been molested and/or killed by priests, uncles, parents, grandparents, etc. Brook Bennett of Vermont was recently killed by her own uncle and her stepfather has been charged with helping cover it up.

Maybe, Caylee’s father is still alive and threatened to file for custody of Caylee.

Maybe, the grandparents threatened to file for custody of Caylee.

Of course, it is also possible that Casey harmed or sold Caylee.

If those investigating this case don’t keep an open mind to other possiblities, we may never know what happened to Caylee.

I believe Casey has a reason not to talk. Is she protecting herself or Caylee??????????

  10. Mary Says:

I read these blogs about the Mother this and the Mother that. Most seem to think she did the kid in. Why are the police keeping her away from her parents unless Mom and Dad are somehow involved in the disappearance. They know a hell of a lot more than they tell. Mom isn’t in this alone, the family I feel is behind her somehow.

  11. Jen Says:

There’s a lot here that doesn’t add up – either it’s faulty reporting on the media’s part, or there’s more to what the grandma knows than what she’s letting on.

The questions at the forefront of my mind (among others):

    * What’s the deal with the grandmother’s car? (According to police, her daughter had been driving it around for at least a month, and she didn’t know anything about it until she got a notice from the tow company?) How did Casey get it in the first place?

    * Why did the police feel the need to take cadaver dogs through Cindy’s backyard after “a neighbor” (unclear whether the neighbor was Cindy’s or Casey’s) told police that Casey had asked to borrow a shovel sometime in the beginning of June?

  12. Tess Says:

Readbetweenthelines, I use the word “monster” because this mother shows not one sign of any emotion over this whole situation. How is that possible? Even if you were so scared that you hid your child you would still be showing emotions over the situation. At the very least outrage at the public for the way they were viewing you . . . for being arrested . . . anything . . . but you get nothing from her.

Too many things about all of this make no sense at all — and I have to be willing to wonder what grandma knows.

  13. Lisa Says:

I agree with Ellie. The mother is definitely hiding something. We do know that Casey and Caylee had been living with the grandmother the entire time Caylee was alive…. Casey then decides she’s going to have some along time or whatever…and take a “mini-vacation”..I think that something happened…accident or not… because Casey had never spent a lot of time alone with Caylee. Now she is trying to cover it up. Maybe if she didn’t lie all of the time…people would be on her side..

  14. Eryn. Says:

This entire story seems so familiar… I don’t know how many of you guys are British but if you are, you’ll remember Madeleine McCann? (I don’t know how much coverage that story got in other countries) It’s exactly the same in some ways… the stories that never seem to add up; the lies from the child’s own parents; the denial. The mother is clearly suffering from some sort of mental illness, or disorder – no mother (in the traditional sense, at least) would be so impassive about her daughter’s disappearance. There’re so many little things that, even individually, would spark suspicion, or at least unease. The ones that stand out most for me are the rotting smell in the car, and the mom borrowing a shovel. Those two facts alone would indicate that she’d killed Caylee, and that’s barely scratching the surface of the whole twisted story. The friend that doesn’t exist? The empty apartment?

In my opinion – and feel free to argue with me, free country and all – the mom’s killed the child, the grandparents know but refuse to admit it and the cops know more than they’re telling us. End of story.

  15. louius Says:

i think people really need to stop telling lies and tell the freaking truth. enough is enough.

  16. Michele Says:

This message is to Cindy Anthony – I hope you are reading these messages from all these people on this blog – and here’s my two cents.
I just saw the interview with you and Greta Van Susteren on Fox News. I also saw the ones with Geraldo Rivera and Megan Kelly. You must be insane!!! If you really want to find little Caylee why don’t you go see your daughter in jail and beat the truth out of her! Or do you already know the truth?? Stop making a fool out of yourself over and over again on national TV! You keep telling everyone how tired you are. So get off the news and GO TO BED!! We’re all tired of your act. If you are not going to answer questions, why did you come on the shows?? Do you just like to see your face on TV? This is not about you. It’s about Caylee. You should be grateful to the news shows who are reporting Caylee’s story. Instead you are rude, evasive and obnoxious!
And by the way. Where’s your husband?? Why is he letting you make such a fool of yourself?? I hope and pray that precious little Caylee is found alive and well but if not, guess what? After your daughter, because of your bizarre behavior, you’ll be the first to be accused of helping your daughter cover up the crime.

  17. kmayhew Says:

I wonder if the mother has a boyfriend that didn’t want Caylee around? It is unfortunate but it has happened before . Look at Susan Smith. She murdered her two boys because her boyfriend wanted a life with her but not her kids. Whatever the case may be her mother needs to tell the truth.

  18. becky Says:

I think the grandma has the lil girl with someone she knows, probably took her from a babysitter to teach her daughter a lesson. She seems like the over bearing controling type that wouldnt want her daughter to take her grandchild away from her, after all they have lived together a very long time. she seems to love her granddaughter like her own daughter or maybe kaylees mom couldnt deal with the grandmother acting like her daughter wasnt hers anymore and sent the lil girl with one of her friends to get her mother to back off……too many different things couldve happened.

  19. Nan Says:

I have thought from the first time I heard the story that the grandparents are in some way complicit. This baby and her mother lived with them in what appears to be a somewhat orderly household and they were close. Why weren’t they (the grandparents) questioning and insisting on seeing the child they likely saw everyday for two years? The pressure from them should have been building within a few hours and at most should have led to them contacting the authorities if the child wasn’t produced within 2-3 day at most.

There is something very wrong with the whole thing. Whatever happened here – the grandparents were and are involved.

The grandfather was in law enforcement – you can’t tell me that he wouldn’t have suspected something was wrong with the child not being around for 5 weeks (oh wait, now the grandmother says the timeframe is not clear). They were either involved and did something to the child directly or they are involved in helping to cover up a crime that the daughter committed .

Mark my words the story will come out. The grandmother’s “I am so tired” excuses and bad behavior is a symptom of the lies unraveling.

  20. Alex Says:

Honestly my take on the whole situation is very versitile. First off I think everyone should just stop making accusations that the child is dead and such because we as the public are only getting to see a small amount of what is going on. Yes we are being informed but come on the media never shows and tells the whole truth of what they know. All we get to see is little snippetes to let our minds wonder. Obviously it is known that Casey knows where her daughter Caylee is. But along with Casey knowing I believe that her mother, her father, and her uncle know. If they don’t know they do know more then they are telling and it is only a matter of time before it all comes out. Yes it could be negative but it might have to do with a safety percaution. Sure the police are around but sometimes even though they are there to make you feel safe police can’t ALWAYS protect people. As outsiders we are not able to really know the story. I am just praying everything is going to turn out for the better and I am keeping my eyes open for this little girl.

  21. Jim Bucklew Says:

I have seen Cindy Anthony, the grandmother, making the rounds of the talk shows. If she wants these people to help her, she needs to lose the attitude. Her daughter knows something or she would have reported her daughter missing. What kind of a mother was Cindy to raise this daughter and now try to cover for her. If Caylee was kidnapped her mother is guilty of failure to report it and what kind of mother would not report her child missing or kidnapped. The mother is hiding information and Cindy is trying to help in the cover up. I am afraid this precious little girl is another casualty. May God be with her.

  22. Ginny Says:

I seen the interview on M&J Show and was a little shocked when the grandmother tried to control the questions by saying if you are speaking to me we are dealing with finding the child, every minute counts (after waiting for weeks to report her missing?). If your child is missing you should be tired. I have children and a grandson and NO ONE would sleep if anyone of them were missing. I would be in everyone’s face insisting on answers so much so you would remember me in your dreams for years to come… I hope and pray that Caylee is well and that they find her soon and the reason why she went missing.

  23. becky Says:

I cant sleep and its not even my kid missing…ok after reading the arrest affidavit i am curious as to if the police questioned her friend amy huizenga, her best friend christine had seen the child middle of june, ok …so her friend that she ripped off 700 dollars plus checks (the amy girl) has casey pick her up from the airport july 15 because casey has her car. ok where was she that she was returning from an airplane ride? how long was she gone that she intrusted her car to someone who stold her money and checks? when was the last time she (amy) saw the lil girl? were the airplane records checked to see when she left and how many tickets she purchased? mexico is pretty close to florida, a reward of 125,000 could keep them taken care of for quite a while. grandma loves the girl enough to offer money, just some hopeful thinking here..maybe casey wanted a get rich quick scheme and thats why shes laughing rather then sobbing over her daughter. she knows her daughter is safe and pretty soon she ll be rich….ok sick thought on my part but i couldnt help it i watch too much tv

  24. Tybreisha Says:

What kind of family is this? no one questions the fact, Where’s Caylee father? the other side of family?. The grandmother is saying little information. Protecting her daughter reputation in the mean while, Where’s Caylee? Her daughter has a mental problem and to which she has to know about her own child. Every mother knows there children. And if she knew she didn’t has a stable mind, why let Caylee go away alone? and weeks you don’t see Caylee. Police should have been notified sooner.
Did she sell her? give her away? she doesn’t need to be release there is nothing that she can do to help her daughter, if so she would have done so. Everything this Casey is saying is a lie. How can you live with your daughter and not know if she is working, and address where she goes at. Grandma wake up!! Casey is a LIAR!!!! GOD PLEASE KEEP CAYLEE SAFE, AND UNDER YOUR WING!!!!!!. GOD BLESS HER

  25. aconcernedmom Says:

I am just catching this story…on fox today. The pictures of the mom makes me wonder as a professional nurse if she is in fact on drugs or if she suffers from mental illness. The grandmother was very evasive and her story did not add up. I am not placing blame because that will be up to the jury to determine fault and ultimately up to God who determines the final judgement. Children come up missing every second and most times the person who has hurt them is in fact someone who they know and trust. I dont know if anyone heard of the little handicapped boy Christian Fergson. He lived here in STL that was and still is missing. He was with his father at the time of his disapperance (who was supposingly using a pay phone when his son was taken) when he had a cell phone…He has never been found and to this day his whereabouts are unknown. Christian was on various medications that he had to have in order to live. The parents were at divorced and did not get along well. Can you imagine how his mom felt when she learned he was missing. Anyway this mom or grandma do not seem to be emotionally affected by this incident (or in a way that we ourselves imagine we would react if it were us). Keep in mind that someone under the influence of drugs or suffering from mental illness, react very different is situations. My prayer is that this child is found safe and no matter what the outcome that justice is served. The media can sometimes distort the picture so that the truth may never to told. I pray things turn out different here. Lastly, if my kids were missing an hour whether I knew who had them or not I would contact the police.

  26. seems to me Says:

Oh come on…everyone knows what happend here! She killed her daughter, it might have been by accident but she killed her and someone realized she was missing so they reported it. She killed her and she is in a shallow grave somewhere. The family’s reaction is kinda odd don’t ya think?

  27. Andrea Says:

I find the grandmother to be quite suspicious. Her phone interview on FoxNews yesterday morning was bizarre. I understood, at first, that the grandmother, Cindy, didn’t want to address questions but only use the venue to get the pictures and story out about her missing granddaughter. But it became increasing strange to me that it seemed like more of an avoidance and I found it suspicious. THEN when I watched her on Greta’s On The Record, I was even more concerned. The grandmother is dramatic and she’s saying that here sole purpose is to bring forth pictures, info to the public but yet is seemed to be more of a “me, me, me” scenario. She hasn’t slept, she’s so tired, “Do you want me to pass out on here so you can have the story sensationalized”. Give me a break. Doesn’t sound like a grieving grandmother to me and I wonder just how much more she knows and is hiding. I’m really starting to think that she might have had something to do with this little girl’s disappearance. I mean, she sounds like she spent a lot of time with her but yet didn’t wonder on a more increased level, where her granddaughter was for a month? My grandparents wouldn’t have let me go missing for a day, without cornering my parents and contacting the authoriites. We are all going to be in for a surprise when it comes to the close of this case….you watch and see!

  28. savethebs Says:

I’ve been following this story extensively myself because since the day I saw that liitle girls picture she reminds me so much of my own little girl. This is the WEIRDEST story I have ever heard. First of all if this were my child regardless of what the real story is IF I wasn’t involved in hurting my child and someone else “took” her from me I’d personally be all over the news myself talking to police every second of the day to find my baby. IF I were behaving the way Casey is my own mother would have came to the jail herself and beat the hell out of me then told me to rott my butt in there if I wasn’t interested in getting my child home.

What’s REALLY going on with this family? Why aren’t we hearing the details prior to what led up to this bizarre situation?? Why’d Casey move out with Caylee to begin with if this family was so “close” “loving” and everything was so “peachy perfect”?? How was Casey supporting the child? Did she even work? Because we know now she was fired in 2006 from Universal Studios. What has she done since 2006? Who are these “boyfriends”? Who are her “friends” and what can they say about Casey in the most recent months? What was she doing with herself? And the grandparents…..I understand that’s their daughter but geez Louise how can they say she was a “good mother” when she’s not even showing emotion on the childs disappearance? Why would Casey leave the child with a “friend” when she has such a great relationship with her parents who seem to love having Caylee? Why wasn’t Caylee with the grandparents?? Too many unanswered questions so how can we as the public NOT think the mother did something to the child? I just hope that precious child is alive. Regardless of who has her or why I just want her to be alive and I’d like to see the police nail the mother to the cross.

  29. tammy Says:

i think caylee’s mom did something. i mean come on 5 weeks intill she told police..it’s so scary out there.
i just hope that caylee is found so the family has some peace of mind…very sad story

  30. Donna Says:

By george I think I just figured out the grandmother!
She’s going on all the TV shows to be sure her Daughter wont be charged in Florida (they have the death p.) The lawyer will cry she can’t get a fair trial. These people are genius! I think Casey did something (accidental) to the girl and now everyone’s covering it up. I saw the uncle’s interview last night. He talked about caylee with a smile. I would think he would have got choked up talking about her, maybe thats just me. I know for sure I would be running all over town like a lunatic looking for my child. I’d pitch a tent at the police station. This family is creepy.

  31. Jennifer Says:

This story is very upsetting to me as a mother of a two-year-old. If my son went missing, the very second I was aware of it I would have helicopters and every police force available looking for my son. I just can’t believe the mother waited so long to report and is now lying about everything and obstructing justice. I also can’t believe that the other members of her family didn’t notice the little girl was missing. It just appalls me. I think if they do find her they need to give her to a family that is responsible and that doesn’t lose children and that will love her and care for her. I was left alone a lot when I was little because both my parents were alcoholics and drug-users. It was but by the grace of God that I was never lost or kidnapped. I think child neglect and endangerment is horrible and if this woman is responsible then she should get the maximum penalty for putting her daughter in jeopardy.

  32. Daryl Says:

Where is the father of caylee i have not seen anything about him

  33. Kathleen Says:

Early reports said they didn’t know who the father was. Why did Casey ask for immunity at the bail hearing? M2C: she cooked her beautiful baby in that car while partying or something. She’s lived with it for 5 weeks now, so that’s why no emotion…she’s had time to process it and thinks they won’t find the body ala Natalee Holloway.

  34. Amy Says:

I guess she put grandma in her place!!!

  35. Donna Says:

The reports I heard were….the father died in a car crash a year ago….that to could be a lie. who knows

  36. Becky Says:

The situation with the grandmother just gets weirder and weirder. She goes on national TV, and then insults and upbraids the reporters and anchors, like she’s the Lost Anastasia or some royal blueblood. NOBODY acts like that if they’re interested in finding a baby! They’d be grateful for every second of air-time they were given, and I agree with Savethebs — if this grandmother was truly concerned, she’d slap the sh** out of lunatic daughter until she got some answers.
I also agree that something is VERY strange that the girl and her baby lived with the grandparents — but the grandmother “didn’t know” for two years that her daughter wasn’t emplyed??? She reluctantly admitted that no, she never saw a pay stub, although Casey told her she was “an event planner.” Did she get up and go to work every day? Who watched the baby? NONE of this b.s. makes any sense at all.
I think the grandmother is WELL aware that the kid is dead — but eventually, somebody was going to call attention to the fact that the little girl just disappeared and nobody was talking about it, so she insisted, finally, that they “report her missing” to the police — and the rest is just an elaborate, oddball scheme to cover their tracks. The whole family is in on this — they’re all dodging questions, all giving ridiculous answers, all acting suspicious and very bizarre for a family with a toddler missing.
I think grandmother thinks she’s “smarter than the average bear,” and that she can outwit the cops with this line of crap she’s spewing on daily TV.
She AIN’T all that … she’s going to get found out sooner or later. I think she INSTRUCTED her daughter NOT to say anything — keep her mouth shut, and grandma would handle the newspeople.
That’s what I think — grandmother is running the whole show, and thinks she’s intimidated everybody to NOT ask the hard questions.
Caylee’s dead — almost certainly — and this whole media show the family’s putting on is a crock.

  37. keyscitynews Says:

Can you trust a cadaver dog if theres no cadaver?

Not really especially if a lot of time has elapsed since the body was removed from the scene. Cadaver dogs can find the remains of people who have been dead for years or even decades. But its much harder for the dogs if the bulk of the remains are gone. In that case, they can pick up the scent from small amounts of body tissue, like a blood stain or nail clippings, or even from materials that came into contact with the tissue. But in the absence of an actual body, the smell of death will dissipate.

Researchers are trying to determine how long the scent lingers when the body is no longer present, but there are no conclusive results yet it may be two weeks, or it may be longer. One former dog handler talking about the this case hypothesized that the scent wouldnt last more than a month.

The dogs couldnt necessarily prove anything even if Caseys body had been in recent contact with the car seat. Since they didnt turn up any actual remains, investigators have to rely on the “smell of death” itself, an odor that stems from the decomposition process. Without a body, they cant be certain that the animals didnt make a mistake.

A dogs utility depends on the skill of its handler. Identifying false signals is an important part of working with a cadaver dog, and results should be backed up with forensic testing. When a dog gives a signal, such as barking or sitting down, to indicate that it has smelled a corpse, a handler can only say something along the lines of, “My dog is giving an indication consistent with human blood.” He cant say definitively that, yes, a body was present, without further confirmation in the form of a blood stain, for example.

  38. dickie Says:

moms performance says it all! she’s a controller and has told them all,”let me handle this!” i think the change of venue theory is a very interesting possilility! i’m so thankful that i didn’t grow in a family like that! one rotten apple spoils the barrel!!!!!!!

  39. susan Says:

I think that Caylee (bless her little soul ) is dead. I watched the bond hearing on Fox News today and that man that handles the cadaver dog was very impressive. I think Caylee was in the backyard playing and started to missbehave like a lot of two year olds do and her Mom lost her temper and hit Caylee. Perhaps Caylee hit her head and died. Then the Mom panicked and the snowball of lies begin. I try to put myself in her (Grandmas) shoes I have grown children and a Grandson, whom I love with my whole heart and soul. Would I try to protect my own child? It is Normal for a Mother to want to protect her child no matter how old they are! And, although a lot of Mothers will never admit it, raising children is hard, and at times children can push your buttons, I think that is what happened Casey lost her temper and accidently killed her daughter.

  40. kmayhew Says:

I agree that maybe little Caylee’s body was buried in the yard and then moved to another location. I watched Nancy Grace today and apparently the cadaver dogs smelled decompostion not only in the car but in the backyard of the Anthony’s home as well! The Grandmother was claiming that the smell of the car was from a rotton old pizza that had been left in the trunk. As if a cadaver dog would even confuse the scent of a body with a pizza! This is such a sad , sad story. I really thought the truth would be out by now.

  41. Ellie Says:

What a wicked web we weave, when first we practice to deceive!

This story reminds me of the “media darling” cases involving the deaths of John and Patsy Ramsey and Susan Smith’s children! (There have been a number of other similar cases, but these two come to mind). In both cases you had parents seek out the media to “tell their story,” or to “help them find their precious children” and the “evil person who did this crime.”

In EVERY case, the “evil person” was none other that the attention seeker themselves! Even though the Ramsey case has never officially been solved…I feel that karma is a biatch and that is why Patsy succumbed to an early death. Guilt will undoubtedly eat away at you–assuming you even have a conscience.

I can believe that Casey and/or her mother Cindy, are directly involved with the disappearance of Caylee, and I think Grampa Anthony (being a police officer) has pulled some strings within the department, to help keep him out of the media and/or to keep his knowledge off the record.

I am the mother of two young children, and I can honestly say that if either of my children disappeared for a second, I would not ask a friend to borrow a car, money and a shovel!!! I also wouldn’t be complaining about how I’m so tired, and how stressed out I was…as it would NOT. BE. ABOUT. ME!!!

In psychology playing the victim is referred to as Narcissistic Personality Disorder–the “victim” is ALWAYS the victim of everything…no one ever understands their plight, they were just standing around, minding their own business, when WHAM! Some evildoer just did ___ to them! These “victims” often PROJECT their own consciences on that of others. Whatever they blame others of doing/feeling, is really what THEY are guilty of doing/feeling.

Think about that the next time you hear/see Casey or Cindy talk…you’ll see how transparent their motives really are.

I mean really, have these people never seen a REAL crime/forensics show (ie: Discovery Channel)? Do they not realize that the most minute detail can and will convict the perpetrator of such crimes…no matter how much they attempted to cover their tracks. The mistake they are making is going on all of these tabloid TV shows…all of their interviews are being recorded and studied under a microscope.

Just LOOK at Cindy’s facial expressions…the little ones. Look at her eyebrows, how often she blinks–especially when asked tough or potentially incriminating questions! How many times does she look down or away from the interviewer when asked where Caylee is? When does she try and muster up a tear? How monotone (even) is her voice (indicates a rehearsed statement)? How expressionless (cold) does she appear? ALL of these “hints” indicate she has SOMETHING to hide!!!

  42. becky Says:

Well those dogs are trained to sniff death, doesnt necesarly mean it was the lil girl who was in the trunk. Her mother is a party person, people she s with are bound to overdose and die. Maybe she sent her kid with the babysitter to get rid of whoever od’d s body and the babysitter ran off and knows she wont talk cuz if she does thats a prison sentence itself. Anyone in orlando come up dead or missing recently? also I doubt those doggies are all that great has anyone checked the missing people sights lately? guess they need to walk their dogs a bit more.,
Maybe she forgot the kid in the car on a hot day, seems to be a lot of that happening :(
**The ramseys were cleared recently using dna, who would ve thought? If the police had kept doing their job they probably wouldve caught the killer by now.

  43. MJ Says:

I wonder if the mysterious phone call that the grandmother received saying Caylee was spotted in Florida is even legit?
It almost sounds like a last ditch effort to throw the “trail” off….

  44. SHANNA PEACOCK Says:

I AGREE WITH BECKY, I BELIEVE SOMETHING OF THE NATURE HAS HAPPENED. I BELIEVE THAT SOMEONE WAS THREATENING THE MOTHER OR MAYBE SOME ONE WAS THREATENING THE LITTLE GIRL, AND FOR HER PROTECTION SHE SENT THE LITTLE GIRL AWAY. SHE SAYS THE FATHER IS DEAD, MAYBE ITS THE FATHER DECOMPOSITION THEY SMELL IN THE CAR, NOT CAYLEES. WITH ALL THE TECHNOLOGY WE HAVE WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO FIND OUT WHAT OR WHO DIED IN THAT CAR.

VERY CONCERNED AND PISSED OFF ABOUT THIS LITTLE GIRL DISAPPEARANCE,
    SHANNA

  45. skeptic Says:

I would love to believe that this sweet girl is alive but my gut tells me she is not. The most damaging evidence is that the cadaver dog signaled the smell of a dead body in the car. These dogs do not make mistakes. And they can smell a dead body under water! So if she didn’t kill her daughter, she killed someone. But her daughter is the one that is missing.

    My theory-

I think she was a young mother who at heart was very selfish. She got tired of having a child around and may have planned this all along. Grandmother says daughter wanted time alone with Caylee and at that exact time, the girl goes missing.

I think the mother is lying simply to create confusion. the more lies she tells, the more off the path she leads police. I also believe the boyfriend who said he heard Caylee around the 24th in the background. I think the mother says the child went missing much earlier to cover for time of death. If they find Caylee, they’ll have some time-frame for the death and mother can say “But the babysitter had her. I told you she has been missing for 2 months. It couldn’t have been me!”

Grandma is in serious denial and and this point I think she just wants to hold on to her dautgher (and not the least is wanting to believe her daughter isn’t a killer). But who knows, Casey may have already admitted it to the family and they could just be protecting her at this point.

  46. Andrea Says:

I think Caylee accidently died in the car. I do believe it was an accident. There is no reason to suspect otherwise from any historical information. I know the police said something about a witness claiming to have seen bruises and a mark under Caylee’s eye but as a mother of 3, 1 of which is 2yrs old, bruises, marks under eyes can all be very normal at this awkward stage. I’ve looked over many myspace pages where Casey has sent messages to fellow friends, even as far back as 2007 and the beginning of this year. She seemed so normal, young and a bit of a partier, but nothing that would indicate that she was a bad mother. Especially if the grandparents probably had Caylee a lot.

So, back to my theory. I think Casey, who isn’t used to having Caylee with her, accidently left her in the car while she did something (I pray not partying, but at this point, it very well could be). Lost track of time, forgot Caylee was in the car and when she found her, she panicked. It would explain the smells from the car…and perhaps she put Caylee in the trunk when she found her and that explains the evidence found there. I do hope that she didn’t put Caylee in the trunk, alive, thinking that she would be ok while she did whatever it was she was doing. Clearly her lack of emotion could have been from shock. I do think it happened much more recently than 6wks ago. I also think that the family didn’t know, but I think Casey confided in them eventually, atleast with her mother. Although I must say there is something terribly disturbing about her mother(Cindy), but I just can’t put my finger on it. Of course, mothers are going to protect their children and probably to an extent of covering up a crime. Not sure I would cover up a felony charge, but I have to be honest, I certainly would protect my children as much as I could.

I can’t wrap my whole mind around it and clearly, my theory, is only opinion and also doesn’t explain all the parts of this case, but I truly do believe it was accidental and if so, I feel very sorry for her but I also hope that she’ll try and be more honest.

I’ve also wondered if Casey has a mental disorder…bipolar or schizophrenic. I read something about her suffering a seizure and being rushed to the ER (forget when, but it wasn’t during all of this) and then her lies about where she works, what she does, etc. I wondered if maybe she became paranoid and thought someone was out to get Caylee and it led her to do something.

Either way, I pray that Caylee is alive but my heart’s telling me that she probably isn’t. But miracles do happen.

  47. Shauncey Says:

Come onnnn you guys. The “accident” theory is just NOT legit. Plenty of parents have left their children, ACCIDENTLY, in a car in hot weather and the child has died. But these parents ADMITTED fault, it was an accident in most cases. This case is astonishing. There are so many layers. My opinion, “Grandma” is crazy as hell, and so-called “Mom” is a murderer. There is no excuse why this baby wasn’t reported missing for 5 weeks, count’em, FIVE. How anyone can look this beautiful child in the eyes and kill her is just beyond me, way over my head. I hope Caylee is alive, but my heart tells me she isn’t. May the Lord watch over you Caylee, and bring you home safe.

  48. Angela Says:

Andrea- There isn’t any “historical” information to suggest that she died in the car, either! You can’t possibly know that.

I am pretty sure that the smell was not caused by a friggen’ pizza! That is laughable. What kind of pig would put their pizza IN THE TRUNK OF THEIR CAR and the LEAVE IT THERE for 20 days with MAGGOTS on it? Nice try, Casey…you should have been a defense attorney…God knows you’d lie enough to be a great one!

  49. Lynton Stewart Says:

Has anyone considered the possibility that Casey is covering up for one or both of her parents? That Caylee may have been accidently killed by her grandparent, and that this is all a ruse to keep the grandparents from being charged.

I suspect that Casey probably has a lengthy mental health history, and will be found not capable of standing trial.

Her mother is absolutely not believable in her reactions. She claims that the cadaver dogs, and the experienced homocide detectives, mistook a piece of pizza left in the trunk of the car for the smell of a decomposing body. Bull S—-. No registered nurse would say something like that, unless they were trying to cover something up.

Want to bet that the grandparents are involved in this, right up to their eyebrow?

  50. Angela Says:

I don’t think they are involved in Caylee’s disappearance. I DO think that they are stupid and gullible, looking for every possible scenario OTHER than the one that is right under their noses! Unfortunately, stupidity isn’t a crime.

  51. Andrea Says:

Angela, I was just stating what I think could have happened. The historical comment was referring to history of abuse. And no, there is no evidence that she died in the car, just that it’s possible her little body was in there at some point. I was just looking at the case in a different way, because yes, while there are people who forget that children are in the backseat, and go to work, shopping, etc. and they, sadly, die. Those people do admit it because it was a honest mistake. I think in her case, if she were doing something like attending a party or just some other selfish act, she wouldn’t be so willing to admit such. Although she could have always made up a story because Lords knows, she sure can lie.

But what if she was somewhere, and was afraid someone would see her baby in the car by herself, and so she put Caylee in the trunk, thinking she would be ok. I shiver even thinking about that BUT it has happened. There was a case I read about where a woman was working, couldn’t afford childcare and instead of leaving her child at home, she would put her in the trunk, had snacks, and a flashlight and some other things I believe to keep the child content. Thankfully she was found out before anything horrid happened, but that’s what I’m feeling about this case. That it wasn’t so much a case of beating her or accidently killing her during a rage…but more due to a neglectful, and of course, thoughtless act.

  52. Andrea Says:

I was trying to look for a link to that story and I’m rushed for time but this mentions similar situations with mother’s who’ve left kids in trunks do to inadequate childcare or inability to afford childcare….

there are so many un answered questions. being the mother of 2 kids ages 23-25 i have a questions that no one hs asked. caycve shows up at home…with no kid and no car. the first thing i would ask is where is your car and where is your daughter. who brought you home.she told her broter it had been 31 days since she had seen caylee tht ws the night she came home and they called the police. she had not been gone 31days at that time…the grandmother say her on june 15th . i think there is more to tell and i think the grandmother has something to do with it too. i watched the bond hearing live on the internet and the camera kept going back to cayce while people testified, when the grandmother was call to testify she was really in shock thta she had even been called and then she figited with her hair and then she asked for a drink of water said everyone knows i drink water all the time..who cares….and then she sorta cried when she first day cayce and said i’m sorry this is the first time i have seen my daughter since the arrested her. WHY …i would have went to the jail with her if it had been my daughter and stayed outside if i had to to be there for her incase she wanted me….cayce cried some when her mom wqs up there but shen her dad and brother went on the stand she boo hooed very hard………..not the same as the mom.i think it is even possible tht if this child is alive casey may have hid her from her OWN MOM…..it was reported that when she was born they handed her to the grandmother and not to the casey…and that grandmother had not let her bond with little caleey……….

  54. Gail Says:

To Michele, Took the words right out of mouth!!!!!

  55. Vicki Says:

Bless your heart Caylee, so innocent so pure. May God be with you wherever you are.

The mother is guilty and has killed this child. Her little body will never be found because this psycho mother made sure of that. To you Cindy – you know what your daughter has done….can you hear Caylee crying now for help?

  56. kay Says:

lets all pray…i just got a news update that there was a witness come forth that swears she seen this little girl getting on a plane at the orlando airport with a lady in her 40’s going to atlanta ga. she was not sure of the flight number but was working with the police and a sketch artist in hopes that they can find her

  57. Angela Says:

If you believe that story, then you have to believe that HUNDREDS of people in the airport, on the plane, airline stewardesses, and security personnel ALL failed to recognize this little girl who is being intensly searched for, and whose face has been plastered ALL OVER the news for a week!!! Yet, she was seen by 1 person? Only grandma is that gullible.

  58. Angela Says:

Oh yes, and let’s not forget that this 1 person who “spoke” with Caylee, made absolutely NO attempt to inform authorities, or report the mysterious woman seen with Caylee?????????????????????????? What a first class citizen…I’ll bet she graduated from Casey’s school of LIES!

  59. kay Says:

no , i don’t eblieve that for a minute. but we can all hope and pray that it is true…….that she is alive..and safe with some PYCO her mother left her with…………i just don’t get this granmother….i have 9 grandchildren and they are my life also. i would move the moon to find if something happen tho them. i can’t go 2 days without talking to them and i jsut don’t understand how she could go that long without insisting to see her or talk to her. when i call my grandkids and they are not open to the phone right then..i make sure the parents know that they are to call me back tonight…if not i make sure to call them just befor bedtime so i can tell them good night..i know then they are in the house around the phone….i think this grandmother knows what has happened and she is trying to take the spotlight off casey…that is why she is so ugley and hateful to the press that asks any questions…she want to talk and say what she wants to say and that is it not answer any questions………………she knows………..that family is nto the goody goody family they are making out to be

  60. Angela Says:

I don’t believe she is alive. I just want them all to stop lying. Everything is a lie…they are using the media and preying upon the sympathies of the American people. It disgusts me even more than the stench from a maggot infested, meat lover’s pizza, left in a hot trunk in Florida for 20 days. If you can imagine that.

  61. kay Says:

makes you wonder how she could stand to driver the car with that smell in there………she is so lying.and your so right
angela…….playing on the sympathies of good loving americans. i get so into these missing children that i can’t sleep for worring about them myself…this is a child…one of god’s children…an innocent child that did not ask to be born into this cruel world as it is today and it is our job as a parent to protect them…..not hurt them…even if it was an accident……………i think she was layed inthe backyard a little bit and then when she backed that car into the driveway instead of going in forward according tot the neighbor like she has always done that is when she moved her sweet little body and that is why the dog hit on both places………….

  62. Kelli Says:

Wow!Walking in here made me duck from all the stones being tossed around. It’s all been said for sure from downright foolish post to some rather thought provoking one’s.I also believe we don’t know the whole story and folks should relax until more of it comes out.Why start lynching and accusing people without all the facts to evaluate? Did everyone suddenly wake up in Salem Massachusetts this morning?Geesh,it isn’t the 1600’s people.:( God Bless Caylee and may she be returned home safely..

  63. Donna Says:

I pray to GOD this little girl is safe. With that said here is my theory:
Casey crake pot accidentaly killed this little girl. Her familia new about it. They greived for a few weeks. Goolish Grannie took charge of the sitch and picked the day they would go to the police and say she was “missing”. Gool Gran told Crack Pot to “shut her mouth” no matter what. (they’ve had 5 weeks to hid the body) Gool Gran knew Crack Pot would go on trial at some point. So instead of facing the Death P. Gool Gran. thought it would be wise to go all over the news in Florida to insure that a judge would declare that crack pot would not get a fair trial in Florida….hence moving the trial to another state. As far as the “person” who saw Caylee at the airport…nice try Good Grannie

  65. kay Says:

it sure strikes me as a little odd that grannie did not go to
the jail and even try to see her daughter or ever mention going to the jail to find out what was going on with the daughter during these days she was in jail? i just find that “ODD”. she never mention that she had been in touch with the sheriff’s dept to find out how she is doing or anything not a word about it except…that they locked her up too soon……………..

  66. Angela Says:

Kelli–That is what this forum is for. Don’t let the stones hit you on your way out!

  67. skeptic Says:

I don’t think anyone is lynching but the public has been played before. As others have mentioned, Susan Smith. I was barely in high school at the time but I remember the gut feeling that she was lying. Yet there she stood, begging everyone to find her little boys. A lot of people believed her. And she drowned those poor little boys. Now you have this Casey girl lying to police and playing games, not doing a thing to locate her child in weeks. I know if I did not have my child, I would be beside myself, telling police anything I could, begging for help. Nothing about her says ‘caring mother.’

  68. Danielle Says:

This I find to be a very case and an all to familar one. A few years ago there was a little boy named Trenton Duckett who came up missing and mom was the last to see him. Long story short mom killed herself and lil Trenton is still missing. In this case mom is where she belongs and dear ole granni knows more as well. Its funny how her story changes. In her last interview she states she has her suspians…Has she led the cops to them? Why did the caller call the granni and the police? How convient the plane was heading to Atlanta one of the places granni says Caylee could be. How did the caller know the plane was heading to Atlana? This lil princesses face has been all over FL since this case broke and I find it kinda funny that someone hadnt seen her face untill she got where she was going. Again I could sit her all night but bottom line….Mom needs to sit her but right where she is so she dosent take this secret to the grave likee little Trenton Ducketts mom did

  69. Carla Says:

Let me ask this….. if someone kidnapped Caylee, WHY would she not have an Amber Alert issued but instead choose to do her “own” investigation??? I don’t think kidnapping was ever the case. WHY hasn’t Cindy been able to talk to the daughter at the jail? Why does Casey need to come home to talk? So it’s not being recorded? Cindy is doing more media coverage about her daughter needing to come home rather than trying to find Caylee yet she says the police are more interested in prosecuting. If MY child or grandchild was missing you bet your behind that I would be on the media but to ask for help or plea for the “kidnapper” to bring Caylee home. It’s all lies! Everyone has their theories on this case but I think we all agree, we want to see Caylee home safe and sound but if that can’t be the case then we would love to see justice served to those involved!

    note from blog owner:

    Carla:

She (nor any parent) can have an Amber Alert put out. That is only done through the Police Department (I believe). And I doubt they would have put one out on Caylee, since I do not believe it fit the criteria. However, if in fact Caylee was kidnapped, she should have reported this a long time ago. But I believe she knows EXACTLY where Caylee is and what she did to her.

  70. kmayhew Says:

Casey’s lawyer was on Nancy Grace today. He looked almost amused by this situation. A sweet little girl is missing(or dead) and he was on TV acting like this is all a big joke or something. It was disgusting.I agree with those of you who pointed out that if Caylee had been on that plane surely someone else would have reconized her. I wish it was her because that would mean that she is alive but all the evidence says otherwise.

  71. Ellie Says:

I recently saw the video where Grandma was talking to reporters outside the courtroom when she gave her testimony (talking about the stupid pizza theory and all…). If you haven’t seen it, I suggest you look it up! You know how people say “a person’s eyes are the window to the soul?” Well, take a look at that video, and this time WATCH how the Grandfather acts (I didn’t even realize he was standing there in the pink dress shirt). Watch the two of them and their body language, tone of voice, etc. The grandfather is totally calm, cool, and collected. He stands poised and strong looking–just like the cop that he is! While the grandmother is (literally) backed up against the wall, hunched shoulders, crying, begging, attempting to be convincing, pleading (hand over her heart) with reporters to believe her, etc. She Can’t SHUT UP! And notice the “coolness” in grandpa’s voice when he says “It is time to go…we have to go NOW!” And she just keeps going on and on and on…all the way down the hallway.
Cindy is so full of guilt that she just can’t stop talking! THIS will ultimately lead to her demise…she’s gonna trip up! The fact that she even came up with the pizza theory shows that she’s been thinking about a way to justify the smell…a telling indicator. The fact that she mentions the pizza being in the trunk for 16, 17, 18, 19 days…why so SPECIFIC a number dear Cindy? Most people, I would think, (assuming they were going to use a stupid explanation as this) would say “I must have left a pizza in trunk for a week or two.” Do you see what I’m saying? People that are trying to be convincing often give too much detail. Detail that (IMO) comes across as calculating, prepared, rehearsed, etc. I also feel that people often say more (too much) when under duress and in the heat of the moment, than they would say if they were truly calm and collected (like Grandpa) because if one is truly innocent of some wrong doing, it will show…in facial expressions, tone, demeanor, body language, etc. People give off many more clues than the words that come out of their mouths than they know!

  72. skeptic Says:

Something that I also wanted to mention, my dad was an officer and one thing he told me several times is that you never forget the smell of a dead body, that wou will remember it forever. If an officer has been around death, they KNOW that smell and they don’t confuse it with garbage. The officer who testified seemed to be someone famiar with death (which he would be if he handles a cadaver dog) and he did not say “there was a bad smell in the trunk. I suppose it may have been rotted garbage.” He was very specific. “There was the smell of decomposition in the trunk.” And if it was strong enough for him to smell that easily, that’s even more disturbing.

  73. Angela Says:

Can somebody please tell me why Cindy is SO quick to believe in these “sightings”, when there is NO real credibility to them (no one else saw her, etc.)– yet she REFUSES to believe that Casey killed her, in spite of OVERWHELMING evidence to support it?

The media, LE, the majority of the public…we all see it clearly! So, why can’t she see it???????????

  74. Kamaran Says:

Living 20 miles from Orlando I have been following this case closely. Just today the grandmother tells police that “We know where she is” and that she is being taken north through Georgia to the Charlotte NC area. THEN says “Please don’t take her further into the mountains.”

    http://www.myfoxorlando.com/myfox/pages/Home/Detail?contentId=7056290&version=3&locale=EN-US&layoutCode=TSTY&pageId=1.1.1

The general consensus around here is that the granny is most definitely involved – if not in the disappearance, then in the cover-up. Most here also think that the granny should be arrested as well. It’s called “hindering an investigation” – and no worse investigation could be hindered besides the case of a missing child.

  75. Lisa Says:

I saw another one of Cindy’s interviews on Fox News today. She’s an idiot who is digging herself into a hole. I say ‘drop the shovel and step away from the hole, mama!” She’s an idiot. ‘Nuff said.

  76. Kimberly Says:

I think they all know A HELL OF A LOT MORE THAN THEY’RE TELLING TV AND POLICE. Sounds like everyones trying to cover their own asses.

  77. kay Says:

I live in Atlanta and I have watch every new reel there has been and have spent hour after hour on the internet looking for updates etc…i did the same thing when little trenton came up missing and what i am seenig here is that granny has a lot more to do with this than we think she does.and i think the onlyperson that knows this is casey. i still can’t get over the way casey looked at her mom during the bond hearing. it was very very cold to me. if granny knows who she is with and on her way to the north carolina mountains why don’t she go get her. looks like she knows where she is going so she should be there waiting when they get there….
the only way that beautiful baby girl is on her way to the mountains of north carolina would be because her mother asked someone to take her there to get her away from that PSYCO GRANNY………………..and i wonder if that is why there was that cold calculated look from casey during the hearing…sur there was tears but not like when her brother and dad got onthe stand….after seeing how the granny is acting i could not blame her for gettng her away from her if that is what she did,………..

  78. Ellie Says:

I just read that the grandparents laid a FRESH SLAB OF CONCRETE in their BACKYARD over the July 4th weekend–a week before they reported Caylee missing!!! Who in their right mind “decides” to do home improvement projects when their grand daughter is missing and presumed kidnapped?! I’ve heard of keeping you mind occupied during times of stress, but this is beyond ridiculous!

If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it’s a duck!

I wish the police would just read Cindy her Miranda rights, so that everything she says can and WILL be used against her!

  79. kay Says:

fresh slab of concrete…you have got to be kidding. why are they not digging it up………….???? HELLO……….

  80. Ellie Says:

Probably because grandpa is a COP, and the detectives need to be EXTRA careful (legally) before “jumping to conclusions?!” Otherwise the entire case could be dismissed because on a technicality. *sigh*

  81. Lavonna Says:

Everyday the more I hear of this case, the more that I think that the off the wall grandma may be involved.. Maybe Casey went off on Caylee and she killed her in front of mom and mom Cindy wants to protect her child and is trying to get everyone to *look* for Caylee to throw the cops off Casey’s trail!
I think Cindy is a basket case and she needs a mental review.

  82. Lavonna Says:

    meant off* not on Caylee

  83. becky Says:

Ok, interesting thing, did the cops check the credit card bill? Caseys boyfriend said she was spending (running up) her mothers credit cards on the internet when she was supposed to be at work around july 4 th. What did she buy? Also why don’t they question the friends a lil better? she was with them last, how about the bars she hung out at, ask some questions there. And with all the cameras everyone has installed these days you would think someone has them on camera somewhere. as far as her daughters daddy being dead, are his parents dead too? who are they?maybe the police/city prosecuter should offer amnesty and a partial reward for someone who knows something and has known long enough to be considered an accesory and put a time line on it so they have to hurry the hell up. How about offering the entire family and friends a lie detector test free of charge just to clear their good names :) i’m done now…

  84. Angela Says:

Watching Nancy Grace, and my, oh my, how the grandma has changed her story! She called 911 complaining about the car smelling like a dead body? So, who’s idea was it to make up the pizza story? I said it before and I’ll say it again….

    I hate this family.

  85. Lavonna Says:

Funny Angela and I won’t say that I hate them but I dislike them very much!!

“God please help them find her soon and if it be your will let her be safe”

  86. worried Says:

I don’t know why I can’t get this story out of my head. I am glued to the TV every time the grandmother comes on. My personal opinion is that grandma is involved, also. I’m almost wondering if she didn’t harm the little girl and Casey is covering for grandma. Either way, this family knows exactly what happened to Caylee and they’re all talking in circles and deflecting attention away from the details. Very sick! Wouldn’t you WANT the public to know every detail about the people involved and the timeline in order to help find your little baby girl? Something’s just not right here…it stinks to high heaven!

  87. Janet Says:

Why are we believing that the baby-daddy is dead? Every thing else she said has been a lie. I don’t believe that one either. She probably doesn’t know.

Angela, I’m disgusted that grandma immediately knew it was decomposition, yet is now saying it is pizza. Maybe she is as much a liar as her daughter. sounds like it so far.

    note from blog owner

    Janet,

On Nancy Grace, one of the investigators said that is what they have found also, that Caylee’s father is dead.

  88. worried Says:

P.S. Why did Casey hand Caylee off to a babysitter so often if she didn’t have a job?!?!

  89. worried Says:

Didn’t see Nancy Grace…but I bet she’s havin’ a field day with this one!!

  90. worried Says:

    Janet,
Grandma said on national TV that she doesn’t remember the dead father’s last name! How could you not know that off the top of your head? And, she claims that she knows for a fact that the dead father’s family has nothing to do with the disappearance. Now how could you be positive unless you know where Caylee is yourself?!

  91. skeptic Says:

Something else I have an issue with. Lets assume that for weeks you think your daughter just ran off with your grandaughter but they’re both okay. When you finally call 911, your daughter just HAPPENS to reappear within an hour of your call to 911? It just seems too much like setting a pecedent that you had no knowledge of anything. And the first things she says are that the babysitter took her and that it smells like a dead body in the car. It’s more about setting up the story than worrying about Caylee in my opinion.

  92. Andrea Says:

Thinking outloud and just need a place to type it. This is one of the most bizarre cases I’ve ever followed and I’ve followed a lot of them. Is habitual lying genetic? ‘Cause it sure does seem like Casey got it from her mother’s genes. I keep hoping the dogs are wrong, but after bringing in another one with a handler that has no idea where the first hits were made, hits on the exact spots. And let’s say it was pizza in the car, (I mean who really knows where they get the meat for a meatlover’s pizza LOL) how would that have been transferred to the yard? We also know now that the grandmother didn’t know where either Casey or Cayley were, or so she says on the 911 call, for a month and Casey just shows up and now the grandmother is calling to report a stolen car and cash….before reporting a missing granddaughter?
Good grief, the 911 calls answered somethings but it has left me in a deeper state of discombobulation.

  93. Andrea Says:

Oh wait, I have more thinking….this morning on America’s Newsroom on FoxNews, Cindy Anthony was giving an interview with the attorney, Baez. She was asked something about whether Casey was a partyier or something to that nature…and Cindy’s reply was and I paraphrase, “No, she was like the mom in the group”. Like the mom? Wasn’t she a mom? And excuse me, because I may be wrong but she certainly said something like that. I found it to be laughable considering if you go to myspace and to Casey’s page (I’m such a nibsh*t) and read comments she’s made to other people, her friends, there are mentions of parties, and a specific comment to a guy about him being her next beer pong partner, etc. Oh and that guy she made the comment to? His name is JP Chatt and his address was the address the cops found on a piece of paper in the car, that had been towed. Interesting but purely FYI. Told you I was a nibsh*t!

  94. Maria Says:

Disgusting family! Poor baby Caylee she never had a chance, I’m sure her Mom killed her!!!

  95. kay Says:

did you hear the interview on nancy grace last night with one of casey’s best friends? sure sound to me like the grandmother and the mother were at each others throat over this baby. I just wonder if it is possible that she might have given this child to someone just to get her away from her pysco mom…….i guess the world was shocked as i was to hear that they had the great relationship as a mother and daughter and now it has come out tht they were just like every other young mom and mother living together. i can see it very well tht casey did not take the care of caylee like her mother wanted her to do…..i have heard somewhere that they had moved out of the grandmothers home about 5 months ago and moved in with her boyfriend, has anyone else heard that? i thought that was odd when she was saying that they had always lived at home with the anthony’s.

  96. skeptic Says:

I’ve been thinking about it. As defensive and grandma is, is it possible that someone here is right? That grandma killed Caylee? I know it would seem odd but what if she and Casey were alone and Caylee was killed. Grandma seems like the very controling type and I can imagine her knowing that Casey didn’t work or have a way to support herself and saying to her “This is what we’ll do. Go along with it or you’ll have me to deal with and no money and no place to live.” I know most would say why wouldn’t Casey just get a job and move away, but it all depends on how dependent she was. Some people just have real issues and depend on their parents for everything. The girl didn’t seem to care a whole lot about her daughter. Grandma made the 911 call and has done all the talking. Casey has refused to do any talking at all. Grandma talks on the 911 call as if she knows who this babsitter is. “Zadia took her.” If this babysitter was a nanny for 2 years, there is no way the family didn’t know her! And yet the police can’t find that she ever existed. Get what I’m saying? The family says her name as if they know her, and yet she does not exist. They don’t even have a photo with her in the background. That right there tells me a lot. I think grandma is telling partial truths. Casey won’t talk because she is being threatened. But just maybe it’s grandma doing the threatening and that’s why she keeps saying she needs to talk to Casey alone. Heck, even the “tip” about Caylee on the plane came to grandma and not the police. SHE says this woman told her Caylee spoke to her and said her name a certain way. I just don’t believe any of it at this point.

  97. kay Says:

I JUST READ AN UPDATE THAT STATED THE GRANDFATHER OF CAYCE SAID THT WHEN SHE WAS RELEASE OUT OF JAIL SHE WOULD BE STAYING WITH HIM AT HIS HOME. A LITTLE ODD DON’T YOU THINK. THAT HE WOULD WANT THIS GIRL STAYING WITH HIM INSTEAD OF HER GOING BACK TO HER OWN HOME. OPENING HIMSELF UP TO THIS CRAZY MEDIA FREENZY

  98. Angela Says:

Re-cap: Casey stole her mom’s car and money, disappeared for a month, came back WITHOUT Caylee, wouldn’t tell her mom where the car was, grandma had to go find the car, and when she found it it smelled like a dead body, then Casey made up a story about the “nanny” taking Caylee, gave police a wrong address, lied about her job, took police to Universal, finally admitted she doesn’t work there…

But Cindy is mad at WHO??? THE MEDIA! THE PUBLIC! How dare we raise an eyebrown at Casey! How dare we question the story we are being told! Cindy insists that WE should be out looking for her grandaughter! Well you know what Cindy? Here’s what YOU should be doing–

Put down the crack pipe and get a reality check. Go directly to jail. Do not pass Go. Do not collect $50,000 for bail. Proceed to take your darling daughter by the neck and shake…keep shaking until a miracle happens-Casey tells the truth! Take care of YOUR OWN BUSINESS before you ask the rest of us for our help!

    Angela – Good post.

    Missing Link?

I mentioned JPChatt in an earlier post and I can’t help but to wonder if he’s a missing link. There are mentions of people such as Ric Morales (the ex-cop and boyfriend of Casey’s friend Amy) and Anthony Lazzaro (Casey’s ex-boyfriend?) but I’ve seen nothing about JPChatt, or John Chatt. The very last post on his myspace page shows Casey thanking him for his hospitality and a mention of him seeing her again but more disturbing is the apology for crying screaming kids (kids? plural?) and “kids these days”. Strange, to say the least.

I also can’t figure out why she would have his address in her possession when it’s obvious she’s been to his home before. And I thought maybe he’d moved to this current address recently, but his personal website at http://web.mac.com/jpchatt/JP/About_Me.html lists the address, the one found in Casey’s possession.

I wonder if it would restore faith in humanity if the lilttle girl turned out to be in atlanta or somewhere else safe and sound. Does anyone out there think this will have a positive outcome? I never realized how many negative people there was out there, but all the blog boards pretty much say the same negative things, not much optimistic thinking. I guess thats what happens when soo many bad things happen on a daily basis. Sad world…..I hope the baby girl is alive and I hope that if there was someone in the trunk it wasnt her….any of her moms friends come up missing? There s been enough bodies found in Florida lately. Maybe the little girl seen something and her mom sent her away so she wouldnt tell her grandma or anyone else.

  102. Angela Says:

Becky- Your right! Lets everybody put on our “rose colored glasses”, ignore all of the lies, forget the statistics, pretend that smell was really just a pizza…and focus on the POSITIVE!!! SHEESH. Are we really being negative, or just REALISTIC?

  103. kay Says:

ok i just heard another recording that was on the 911 recording . have you heard it. she is put on hold transferring ehr to another dept at the police dept and she is talkin gto casey and casey ie begiing for one more day befor she turns it over to the police and her om tells ther that she is not giving her one more day she had already given her 30 days to find her….so this means that granny knew knew 30 days befor she called the officials that the child was missing then. why did’nt she called them 30 days ago HERSELF………..when she was first missing and then there was a chance that they might have actually found her IF she is alive.

  104. Angela Says:

Kay-I don’t read it that way at all. When she came back, grandma asked to see Caylee, but after a series of lies Casey FINALLY admitted to her mom that Caylee had been missing for 30 days. That DOESN’T mean Cindy knew she was missing the entire time. She was basicly saying “Casey, you’ve already had 30 days to find her, you don’t need 1 more day!” Grandma kept in touch by phone with Casey the whole time she was gone, and kept asking to talk to Caylee and was lied to every time. Grandma did not know what was going on, believes Casey’s lies, and is duped like the rest of us. Her problem is that she is blaming LE, the media and the public for not finding Caylee, when she should be pioniting the finger at her daughter.

  105. Angela Says:

Sorry, “pointing the finger”…it’s pregnancy brain!

  106. kay Says:

no problem…we all get aggrivated when it come to a chid missing…..and we can’t help find it. this is the exact conversation take from the orlando sentinal that had the call postedWhile a dispatcher was transferring Cindy Anthony to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, a snippet of the mother and daughter’s conversation was captured.

911 call: ‘I’ve given you a month’ to find Caylee Audio
Second 911 call: My granddaughter is missing Audio
    First 911 call

More Orlando Sentinel blogs Cindy Anthony: ‘Cause my next thing will be down to child (inaudible) thing and we’ll have a court order to get her. If that’s the way you want to play, we’ll do it and you’ll never. . .

Casey Anthony: That’s not the way I want to play. . .

Cindy Anthony: Well then you have. . .

Casey Anthony: Give me one more day.

Cindy Anthony: No, I’m not giving you another day, I’ve given you a month. . .

The conversation, and the recording ended when an Orange County Sheriff’s Office dispatcher picks up the line.

  107. Angela Says:

That is one strange conversation. If this is all on record, why is Cindy continuing to play dumb and expecting the rest of us to find Caylee? Why doesn’t she want us to know what Casey was involved in? Why the pretense of the perfect family?

    i. hate. this. family. grrrrrr……………

  108. kay Says:

i just don’t understand where she is coming from either. does she think they every one in the worldis stupid. that whne these tapes are released to the public people are not going to listen to them and listen to her instead. you know i wonder if some of this is true.
i actually wonder if maybe casey was not the mom they ahve told she was and possible she did leave this child with someone and never back to get her for a couple of weeks and they abaysitter took off with her. probably thinking as we all are…this child does not need to be with cayce if she did not come back and get her the next day ….(I’ve been guilty of that myself when babysitting an infant that the mom did not come back or call for 4 days. of course i DID have to co-operate with the officials when they came to get the infant) and after hearing that conversation i really think that good old granny knows everything……….and she gave her 30 days to find cayce or she was going to report it herself….obsivously 30 days later she did……
good old granny is fixing to break…..i can see it coming..sheis spining off the walls every directions and don’t know what lies she has told because she has told so many…..wonder where casey got her lieing habit from????????

  109. becky Says:

i know i said this before but…..july 25 florida newspaper sentinel? has a map of murders in 2008 in the city of orlando…i think the mommy knows something about 1 of them and the one responsible has her baby girl (one of them, if you talk shes next situations) thats about the only good excuse she would have for keeping her mouth shut and lying like she has, would also be why her mother s dropping hints about her daughter not talking to protect her family and why the lawyer said she has a good excuse…..probably moved the body in her car.

Today on Nancy grace they played some recordings of Casey’s phone conversations from jail. In the recordings she is asking her mother and her friend (who she also talked to) For the phone number of her boyfriend, Tony. She pretty much cusses her mom and friend out when instead of giving her the number they press her for questions as to where Caylee is. She was really defensive. I really wonder if her boyfriend Tony is in on it .She seemed pretty desperate to talk to him.

  113. Andrea Says:

On Nancy Grace tonight, they were sharing the jailhouse phone call from Casey to her mom, brother and friend. However, who was she talking to in the video that was in the background? She was talking to some guy, it was obviously a face to face conversation, through glass I’d imagine. Anyone know?

  114. kmayhew Says:

    Andrea,
I think that was her boyfriend, Tony, that she was talking to. What I don’t understand is why they were only showing the video of them talking but not giving us any audio. I don’t know about you but I’d be very intrested to know what she and her boyfriend were talking about. I think he could be part of this somehow.

  115. Andrea Says:

    Hi Kmayhew,

It was not her boyfriend, but I agree it would have been interesting to here a conversation between them. On The Record w/Greta actually had the audio to that particular video piece and it was an old classmate. Not much was said, except for him offering her support and she, thanking him.

  116. Andrea Says:

    here = hear, sorry :)

  117. Kathy Says:

I think it is sick that anyone would come close to believing this child is dead. What happened to hope, faith,…… optimism?

This is a helpless little girl!!!!

Who would want to even think of such things?

I to, am a mother of a 3 year old little girl. As I watch this story,( as sad as it is) all I can think of is the positive outcome. We as a whole have lost our ability to see “between the lines” and focus more on the media as “fact”. The media is edited people!!!

I believe that she is alive and I believe that she needs to find her way back to her family.

I personally have no comments on the mother. She is a grown adult that can make her own decisions. The focus needs to be finding CAYLEE!!!

  118. mylifeofcrime Says:

    Kathy,

It is not “sick” that people believe this poor child is dead, it is, unfortunately, a common occurance lately. I guess you missed the fact that the cadavar dogs reacted to the car and the yard, indicating that a dead body had been there. The car had the overwhelming smell of it (even the GRANDMOTHER said that in the 911 call).

I truly hope Caylee is alive, but indications point the opposite direction. If she was alive, the mother would be shouting this out and HELPING not hindering the investigation. All she wants is to talk to her boyfriend, Tony.

By the way, there ARE detectives searching for Caylee, however, what do they have to go on? The word of the mother? Yeah, the mother who has lied to detectives over and over. They will surely find her from that information, huh?

  119. kmayhew Says:

    Kathy,
I think all of us- even those who suspect she may be dead hope and pray that she isn’t. I’m a mother and I think that there’s a good chance that most of the people on this blog are parents also. That is why it is so upsetting. I and others can not understand why-with her little girl missing Casey keeps telling so many lies. She is a grown women and she can make her own decisions but why she is chosing to lie is beyond me. Honestly, I think something did happen to her but I hope whole heartedly that I am wrong.

  120. sarah Says:

I totally agree this story is sad because the mother casey and grandma cindy are showing no sadness or nothing that the child caylee is missing!! If that was mt child I would have been going crazy!!! I do believe that grandma is involved but at sametime why is grandma not arrested she is involved in this case bc she calling 911 making false storys but I really hope caylee is alive and I pray she is okay but if she is found and is not alive I think mother casey and grandma should have revenge!!!

  121. Kathy Says:

I totally agree with you. And I did watch the hearing, when evidence regarding the odor of decomposition was presented.

I guess as a mother, I almost need to believe that she is still alive. Denial? Perhaps!
I know there are detectives doing all they can to find this little girl. And I know the mother is no help in this matter. If anything she is prolonging the investigation.

Please understand, my comment was not directed to law inforcement in anyway.

  122. Kathy Says:

……………….. just a moment of frustration and sadness.

  123. Andrea Says:

Sadly, the evidence that has come forth leads to speculation that Caylee is most likely, and much more unfortunately, dead. However, I think it’s hard for us, as normal, heartfelt people to believe that something like that could happen. Even though it seems to happen a lot and a lot more lately. We never want to believe, especially those of us who are mothers (parents), that someone “like us” (in theory, of course) would be capable of killing our own flesh and blood.

I think also, for most of us, we almost hope to find that it’s been an accident and not a premeditated act of violence, when a child dies by the hand or hands of a parent. Because it’s easier to believe, easier to handle….even if sad, all the same.

In this case, to me, right now, it matters not if it was accident or purposeful…the lies, the lack of remorse and/or sadness, the absence of motivation to find her little girl makes me want to wretch with sorrow. Especially with the specific comment from Casey to her friend about how all her family was worried about was finding Caylee. Excuse my language, but WTF?

The only thing I found that eased me a bit and that’s an overstatement, was knowing that now, it seems that the grandmother wasn’t covering for her. But, I got to tell you, I still don’t care for her demeanor.

  124. Angela Says:

I just heard more tapes from jail and I think I know what Cindy’s problem is (besides being evasive). In the beginning, she went on TV, and expressed concern over Casey’s “involvement” in all of this. Then she talked to Casey over the phone and basicly got her butt chewed out for voicing her concerns in an interview. Being suspicious of Casey only causes Casey to clam up even more, so Cindy can’t get the answers she wants. She fears that if she “upsets” poor Casey, and Caylee is found alive, Casey is just the kind of person who would forbid them from ever seeing Caylee again. So, by publicly “supporting” Casey she gets to keep Caylee in her life. Her motivation? Fear of losing a relationship with Caylee (in the event she is found safe). Which boils down to this: Casey is one manipulative witch. Wouldn’t want to dare upset the lying little witch of a daughter who wouldn’t know the truth if it bit her in the a$$. Casey holds all the cards in this game she’s playing, and she knows it! Her parents and LE are nothing but pawns in her psychotic web of lies, to be played only by her rules. The figure I heard she racked up on mom’s credit card…$40,000! That’s in a MONTH, folks.

  125. Kathy Says:

    Andrea,

    I couldn’t have said it better. :0)

  126. worried Says:

    Angela,
I couldn’t agree more with you. I thought Grandma was involved all along…that is, until I heard the most recent tapes. Now I know why the police HAVEN’T arrested Grandma. She is simply pleaing with her daughter so she can either find Caylee or simply find the truth. What a twisted little girl this Casey is…and I mean little girl. She is a perfect example of a child raising a baby. My personal opinion is that she accidentally left Caylee in the car in the heat and forgot about her. I doubt she purposely did this. And, I think she’s bound a determined to take the truth to her grave. Maybe Grandma’s not as crazy as I thought originally!

  127. Rhonda Says:

As sad as it is to write I think the little girls passed on,I think the grandparents know the real parent Casey was and it wasnt a good one.God I hope im wrong.

  128. Angela Says:

They have to know what kind of parent she was, because Cindy threatened to call in Child Protective Services and gain permanent custody of Caylee. Remember Casey saying she “didn’t want to play that way”??? What did she need “1 more day” for, anyway? The girl is a nutcase.

  129. Linda Says:

I’ve never sought out the community of a blog before this case came up. It’s oddly encouraging to be able to roll down comments from so many others who are looking at this situation in real pain and confusion. It helps to know that many others are watching reading, and trying to put some sort of language around what exactly it is that we know we know doesn’t stack up in this horrific story.
The one thing I wish I knew more about is the grandfather…is he Casey’s father? Why did he recently retire? Why didn’t he, as a cop, get a permit to pour a slab in his backyard? And why would he not be able to educate Cindy about the fragrant difference between decomposing people and decomposing pizza? It’s a terrifying, wrenching story. But it’s good to know others like you are still willing to try to evaluate the measure between good and evil.

  130. skeptic Says:

What I don’t understand? If she was staying with her boyfriend or even just in constant contact with him, wouldn’t he have some idea of what was happening with Caylee? So why have we heard nothing about the last time he saw her and everything he knew up until the time the girl was missing? And did he not question why the girl was not with her mom?

  131. Lanie Says:

That My Space is dangerious. Putting your child’s picture on there is bad. Meeting these people you don’t know a thing about is putting your child in danger. That link you sent really scares me. Stupid people like Casey exposing that little girl to you don’t know what. No telling what has happen to that little girl.

  132. Andrea Says:

I think this is very telling and key to this case. It goes along with my theory. When asked on Geraldo at Large if Casey, maybe decided she wanted to be free, George Anthony replies, “There is stuff that we’ve found out and I’m not going to get specific with that and I hope you don’t ask me too much about that, yeah she changed her life, there’s been some different friends that’ she’s had in past few months or something like that we didn’t know, we never met them. Maybe something happened that, I don’t know, I can’t be specific. I can’t control who she sees or what she does when she’s out.”

He can’t get specific due to police investigation I bet. I think there is going to be one friend, in particular, that made her want to change her lifestyle and helped create this little fantasy life she decided she wanted and Caylee didn’t fit. I’m really curious if it’s the guy I mentioned early on. I noticed that he has a stumbleupon account and guess who his only fan is, Casey! And according to that, he’s logged on within the past few weeks and so has she. Of course, that could be someone else logging in for her. I just have this gut feeling and I know you guys probably think I’m weird, but maybe I am because I just can’t get this case out of my head. And I used to work for a private investigation service, so it’s in my blood I guess. Just ignore me if you want.

I also want to comment on how George Anthony seemed to be the most credible family member so far. Although, as I’ve mentioned too, I believe now that Cindy Anthony really didn’t know anything.

The media is blowing it out of proportion to me because when she called about the stolen car and cash, that was right before Casey admitted not knowing where Caylee was and the statement about “I’ve given you a month” sounded to me like it backs her claim up that she’d been asking about Caylee for a month and believing the deception and not that she’d known for a month that Caylee had been missing. The pizza vs. decomposition. I think that Cindy Anthony was honest when she made th e comment about the car smelling like a dead body….but Casey probably told her it was an old pizza and possibly there was one in there….but not necessarily the reason for the smell.

Cindy Anthony just wants to believe that Caylee is alive and that her daughter couldn’t possibly have done something to her. It’s called denial and I think until we, collectively, have been in those shoes, we don’t know how we would react. We all want to wish the best about our own children.

  133. Andrea Says:

Note: I do not think the guy I’ve mentioned had anything to do with this case, directly. Just part of Casey’s fantastical world.

  134. robin Says:

the thought that comes to my mind even though the grandmother statede her daughter doesnt do drug or drink that mabey she went on a party binge and left caylee in the car then passed out and forgot about her when she finally rememberd caylee was in the car it was too late in that heat in florida 24hrs and that child would have suffocated , then she pannicked told her mother they then burried her in the yard after a few days they pannicked moved her then reposted her missingi think the grandmother knows what happened and is covering up for her daughter i also think they should both be subjected to a lie dector test ..

  135. Lanie Says:

The fact that the grandmother acts so crazy is, she is about crazy. Wouldn’t you be too? Every one says if my child went missing I would go crazy, well, I’m beginning to think the grandmother is about out of her mind. If the grandmother knew anything about Caylee , why wouldn’t she tell to get her back? Her crazy acting tells me she really believes she is out there but, Casey’s acting is like more concered about herself because I think she knows. She is not worried about finding her because she knows where she is. She wants to put it out of her mind and wants everyone to think about her. I have somewhat changed my thinking about the grandmother. She doesn’t think Casey did anything to harm her. But the fact of the smell in the car is a big factor. Also the stealing of money from the credit card and a no show for all that time. I’m sure they have checked to see how she used the credit card. Casey was definately up to no good. You know, the grandmother wants to believe her but why is Casey being so mean to her? I guess its because she doesn’t want them to know how stupit and careless she has been. Casey may be in denial too. Doesn’t want to believe what she has done. Grandmother believes everything she tells her because she wants to believe that this couldn’t have happened. If it turns out to be that Caylee is dead, the grandmother will be a basket case for sure. Its a terrible thing that they can’t get this solved and start healing.

  136. worried Says:

Any news as of late? I haven’t heard anything since the Grandma’s 911 calls were made public? I’m hoping for some good news out of this!!

  137. Angela Says:

Did everyone hear the latest telephone recording from jail? Oh, my goodness, can Casey possibly be any more narcissistic?
“All anybody cares about is finding Caylee! They don’t care about ME! Everybody is against ME! Nobody is on MY side! The cops are twisting all of MY words (lies)! I want to talk to Tony! Nobody will give me Tony’s number! Nobody cares that I’m sitting in jail! Nobody believes ME! What a waste of time calling you guys! BWAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!”

Dear Lord, please lead the police to this girl’s body before it’s too late. Her selfish mother needs to pay for what she’s done. Amen.

  139. kay Says:

ok, i have a question here. in the actual police report the detective states that cayce told him who she left caylee with and showed him the apartment tht had been vacan t for some time. but did anyone ever see something tht i thought was really strang,. she gave him that name, they contact the apartment manager and they went thru the records BUT…….they did find that a lady by that name HAD actually looked at the apartment some months back. This is how they got in touch with her. She had filed out a card and on that card she had her cell # which is how the police contacted her and she said that she had never heard of the anthony’s or cayce or caylee. they took her picture and showed it to cayce and cayce said that was not the zenida she had left caylee with. well…don’t you this this is odd…that there was actually someone by that named had looked at that particular apartment she took them too…….it’s not she has a real common name name george smith. maybe cayce had information to the leasing office paperwork somehow…it had to be more than coincedental that the name and the apt she had given them ended up actually being showed to this person…
by the way anyone know who this william waters is that was on the jail registar the did not show up?

  140. Nicole Says:

Casey knows her child is dead and her body won’t be found. That is why she isn’t worried about finding her. The grandmother knows more than she lets on and is trying to do damage control. That is my opinion about the two of them. Casey knew she couldn’t explain the disappearance forever to their family and friends so they came up with the kidnapping. I can’t figure this grandmother out. I can understand why she wants to protect her child, but if she really believes Caylee is missing she should be encouraging her to tell the truth. I would be parked at the police station until she tells them something to go on.

Casey Anthony has a bad case of what we in Oklahoma call RD syndrome. RD is the mother of a two year old named Kelsey Briggs. RD is in prison and before going her presentensing report stated she could not take the blame and wanted to blame everyone but herself. Casey has the same me..me..me..syndrome. Grandmothers in both cases are trying to cover for the mothers with only a hint of really caring about what happened to the little girls.

How many cases do have to hear about where the mother actually takes the lives of their children? Susan Smith, Andrea Yates, Raye Dawn Smith, Katherine Rattan, the list goes on and on. It makes me sick.

I don’t understand why the paternal grandparents are not publicly speaking out. If their son was killed and this was his only child why are they irate? I wonder if they have been contacted?

i’m not sure. you know that they have seen it on the news and they know it is their grand child. wonder if they have her?

  142. Lanie Says:

Sounds like the paternal grandparents is another story.

Grandmother doesn’t sound as panicky as she did last week. I think its sinking in that something bad has happened but is hanging on to the believe she is alive. Grandmother is enableing Casey to not tell the truth by saying we believe you with all this sweetheart and sweetie business. If she, and the girl that told Casey the family is backing you 100%, would turn their back on her to let Casey know they don’t believe her, she will know she is all alone. No help until she tells. I think Casey has had too much done for her.

  143. Angela Says:

    Casey,
If you are reading these posts I have something to say to you. You said you believe “Caylee is still alive and close to home.” You had better hope she is (although I doubt it), IF SHE IS FOUND ALIVE, you have still lost her forever. Your parents will see to it that they get full, permanant custody of her, and they deserve it after the hell you have put them through. Congratulations! Your lies and actions have bought you a lifetime without your daughter. I hope your 30 days of hell raising and wickedness were worth it.

  144. Goldee Says:

In that phone call from prison, Casey asks for her boyfriend’s phone number. I don’t understand why. Don’t most people know their significant other’s phone number?

I really hope they find Caylee soon but I can’t help but think that whoever has her would have returned her to the authorities by now with all this media coverage.

Have they checked the surrounding area near where the car was found?

  145. bj Says:

The whole family is nuts-nancy grace show just had the 911 call-calmly- i have a 3 year old that’s been missing for amonth. operator ‘did you report that?’ I am trying to do that now…..(edited out) I am trying to get my daughter arrested. operator ‘for what?” For stealing my car and money.
——I don’t know, I would be hysterical, what do you mean you don’t know where she is?????? Would not be worried about the car at that point. I would be choking out of my daugther of what she did to her daughter. Did you have an accident??? Did you kill her??? How can you leave her with a sitter.
——and now-daughter’sgut feeling that Caylee is safe. WHAT DID YOU DO WITH HER????? WHY AREN’T YOU TALKING TO THE FBI SINCE YOU KEEP TALKING ABOUT THE FBI?

  146. Kate Says:

I have a four month old son. I feel guilty if I take even a second too long in the bathroom while he’s in his crib. I have no idea how any mother can bear being away from their child for such a long time. Through this last week, I have just been holding my son close and wishing that women who didn’t want kids would do the right thing. Not this.

  147. kay Says:

you know i have watched this very close…i still think that grandma and grandpa were the one that were doing most of the the childcare here. a mimi vacation so we can bond…??? also how did she pay for this mini vacation??? if she was putting all this “MINI VACATION” on the mothers credit card (maybe that is why it was $40000.00) could’nt they go to those store etc and check security tape files for the dates they were used in that store? i’m not sure i could spend $40,000 on charge card in 30 days ..unless i was really out to end it all…you know, run mom’s card up I won’t be here to worry about it being paid….
i just wonder what she has told the attorney that he would be so calm in saying i know her reason and cant reveal them …..if this precious baby ends up dead..(god forbid)i think he should be charged with witholding information himself. how can he even attempt to defend her..by the way who is paying for this attorney?

  148. Angela Says:

Grandma and grandpa are footing the bill for this imbicile of a defense attorney. They are responsible for trying to get their daughter off the hook, yet at the same time, they expect her to give them straight answers? Does anyone else see the blatant contradiction in that?

  149. Goldee Says:

I just read the conversation between Casey and her friend. Here is an excerpt:

Kristina: Does Tony have anything to do with Caylee?
    Casey: No, nothing.
Kristina: OK, so why do you want to talk with Tony? You probably don’t want to tell me, do you?
Casey: Tony had nothing to do with Caylee.

The last line (that Tony HAD nothing ….) seems eerie to me.

  150. kay Says:

i jus would like to know where she was for 30days and who she was with. i’m 52 yrs old and my mom would be screaming at me..dont you think time you came home…stop spend money you dont have…..etc…
and it was her money she was spending i guess….they must have stayed in some real swakey hotels in jacksonville.
and you know all of a sudden she tells her beother that she did not even know where her cell phone was at. the last time she seen it it was at tonys house…she said tht she had text messages from the so calle dbabysitter etc…i’m sure her cell provider has records of tht also. why don’t they just call the provider for these records………….i do it to my provider all the time for a list of my phone calls..every month.in bound and outbound…so that means that she talked to calee the day her mom called the police..and it came from a private caller. that means if she did not have her cell then they had to call her at her mom’s house right?

  151. Andrea Says:

Stranger and stranger by the day. OK, a Zenaida checked out an apartment and handed in a “guest card” on April 17th. The same apartment that Casey initially claimed is where she dropped Caylee off to the nanny, Zenaida. Yet there is no report of anyone living in that apartment. I’m wondering if Zenaida is really Casey? To set up some sort of record of a Zenaida, but in April? Way before Caylee went missing. Weird. This address is also across from the address of the guy’s JP Chatt, whose address was found handwritten in Casey’s car. I swear that this guy is the missing link, as I’m so adamantly mentioned before. LOL

It isn’t just a coincidence…..and maybe, and this is a stretch of imagination here, Casey has a split personality? I also hope that they’ve checked this apartment out, on the inside for any indication that someone…..maybe Casey had been there.

  152. kay Says:

from what i read they got the address and the cell number off that card and called the zanida and went and talk to her and took a picture of her and took it to casey to see if that was a match to her zanida and she said no. i thought that was so wierd that she woul dhave this name and that apt.and it not be the same…something is really fishy there….who is this JP Chatt? i remember reading it somewhere in one fo rthe files about the address ebing on a pc of paper in her car. obsivoulsy this is not her boyfriend TONY

  153. Andrea Says:

If you read through this forum, you’ll see my postings about JP Chatt. Maybe nothing to him but he just keep popping up and he’s the one who lives/lived at 232 Glenwood, the address found in Casey’s car. The police state in the report that this address is across from the building that Casey pointed out as Zenaida’s address. According to comments she made to him in Jan of this year, she stayed with him and apparently Caylee stayed too. But there doesn’t seem to be much of a connection between Chatt and her other friends or family, except I believe Casey’s friend Amy and that Ricardo Morales. And according to George Anthony, Casey had friends that no one had known about and I wonder if Chatt is included in there. Not that I think he did anything wrong but I wonder, despite her boyfriend Tony, if she had a thing for this Chatt dude and this lead to the disappearance of Caylee.

It’s a HUGE coincidence that a Zenaida checked out an apartment months ago that ends up being where Casey says a Zenaida lived….AND it’s across from where Chatt lives/lived? In the white pages reverse directory the address belongs to a Joseph R Chatt but according to his website he is John P Chatt, but on that same website he posts his home address as 232 (n or s) glenwood.

Something doesn’t fit there. Too big of a coincidence.

  154. Andrea Says:

A correction, Chatt’s address is across from the-story 3 building that Casey pointed out as being a place she’d dropped Caylee off, and not the apartments where she initially took LE. Still strange.

  155. Andrea Says:

I just learned that the address found in Casey’s car, is also where Amy (Casey’s friend) and Ricardo Morales lived/lives as well. So in the grand scheme of things perhaps Chatt isn’t as important as I thought.

These show pictures of Casey partying it up btwn Fri June 20 and Sat. June 21. I just want to throw up, she doesn’t look like she’s too concerned for a missing baby. :(

  157. kay Says:

from the looks of those photos taken that cold be a large chunk of the $40,000 in credit card payment. this was suspose to be during the 31 days her child was missing BULL S***……she is really worried about that baby in these pictures……………i also readu somewhere in the last few days that she sais if her mom had listened to what she was saying in the last 30 days she would know when caylee is. she should have been able to read between the lines….i just watched most of the court rpecediings today to stop the leaking of info to the public. do they really think she is gonna say anything that ould help find her daughter?//come on now…we all know that is crap..if so she would have said it inthe beginning befor she went to jail…

  158. Goldee Says:

I can’t imagine that the Cindy Anthony had $40,000 of credit available in just one month — especially since they aren’t able to come up with the bail money. There has to be a mistake about that figure, or maybe she racked up that much debt over an extended period of time.

Those pictures make me incredibly sad. How can someone go out and party while their child is missing??

Why did Casey go on vacation during the same time that her parents were away — but yet they didn’t go together?

  159. kay Says:

i just find it hard to swallow when she says i’m going on vacation and taking caylee so we can bond ..she’s almost 3 yrs old. was there not any bonding befor now…..??? i have this feeling that her mom and dad did most of the caretaking for little caylee regardless of what anyone else says. and i think cayce is so involved in cayce that she was very jealous of the relationship between cindy and caylee. everyone knows children loves the grandparents the most, and i really think she has hid that child or done something with her to get back at her mother for let say intruding on her mothering to cayce. she just looks like she would be so vengful……i hope and pray that this baby is ok..but then again what must this baby be enduring while away from mom. she know she wants her mom…if someone has her what are they telling her…??what are they doing to her..??
i’m very ashamed of muself for thinking the worst of this family..i think they are a hrd working blue collar family that loves their grandbaby just like i am….but something is so very fishy here…

  160. Shauncey Says:

I wonder did Casey kill Caylee’s dad. She sure seems unstable enough. Everyone is lying, from the grandma to the daughter to the friend I heard on Nancy Grace. Like the above question, if she didn’t have a job, why did she need childcare?? Damn good question. Anything that comes out of Casey’s mouth is just not believeable. Someone needs to get a hold of her and BEAT the truth out of her of where Caylee is.

  161. kay Says:

    DITTO DITTO….APPLAUSE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
there is nothig in this world to me as sweet as these little babies, I’ve always looked at a child as god’s special gift ti the parent…..and yes they grow up and some becomes Cayce’s….I hav a 14 yr old granddaughter that has decided to develop let’ s say her own personality…and i told her last night we were watching the video’s of cayce and the way she is acting , lik e nothing is wrong and i told my granddaughter that i thought she was developing the same sort of attitude cayce has and she started crying bless her heart. i was so ashamed of myself. i say all this to get to the point that you know something is wrong when a scattered brain 14 yr old can look at the video and say something is wrong with that crazy woman….she don’t need that precious little baby girl anyway………….

  162. mylifeofcrime Says:

    Andrea,

You are right indeed. Not a care in the world! Where did you find those?

  163. Angela Says:

Yes. What was Casey doing every day when she wasn’t working? Where was she taking Caylee every day, if not to a nanny? Surely if Casey had a job the employer would have come forward by now to shed some light! And if this nanny existed, why doesn’t anyone remember her caring for Caylee?

    note from blog owner:

And don’t you think she would have come forward by now if she existed? (the nanny) And what about the boyfriend? Why hasn’t he said anything about Caylee being at his place while they were “bonding”?

  164. Andrea Says:

I saw the link on another message board, can’t remember if it was a crimelibrary message board or where. Just perusing the internet.

  165. Andrea Says:

ooops, I did keep the link for where I found those pics….just someone’s blog, http://gibbyclan.blogspot.com/2008/07/casey-anthony-fusion-nightclub-in-fl.html

  166. mylifeofcrime Says:

    Andrea,

    Thank you very much!

  167. Shauncey Says:

Casey is LYING. I think she killed poor Caylee and doesn’t, of course, have the balls to fess up. Cadaver dogs are very accurate. We’ve all heard the dog trainers say how they are trained to find HUMAN remains ONLY. (the dead animal theory has been blown way out the water) It’s just insulting to my intelligence to have to sit and listen to her lie thru her damn teeth about NOT knowing where this child is. Does anyone here know a b**ch like this who is doing everything in her power NOT to help find her child?? Everytime I look at Casey my stomach turns, because I think she killed her daughter.

  168. Angela Says:

Well, the nanny wouldn’t come forward if she took Caylee. There sure don’t seem to be a lot of people coming forward to back up Casey’s story! The boyfriend (Tony) never saw Caylee during that month, because Casey kept telling him she was “with the nanny” or “at the beach” or “at the amusement park” or “with grandma”. Her mini-vacation consisted of taking a vacation from being a mother! That girl had to have been dead from the getgo for no one to have seen her during those 31 days.

I believe Caylee was buried in the grandparents backyard, then dug up with the borrowed shovel, put in the trunk and re-buried elsewhere. I just can’t figure out WHEN she had opportunity to go to the house when no one was there to bury Caylee. It was during the 31 day “vacation”.

Can anyone figure out why grandma didn’t report her car and credit card stolen until 31 days later????????

Since Casey conveniently “LOST” her cell phone, can they rely on tower information in the phone records in order to pinpoint Casey’s whereabouts during that month, in order to narrow the burial site down? I know that they need a cell phone to follow “pings”, but is there a way to find Caylee’s body using cell phone records instead?

  169. Andrea Says:

They are showing those photos of her at the nightclub and the photographer on On The Record, right now.

    note from blog owner

And funny thing, on their web site, they are calling them “Exclusive”! I am calling them on it however, since they are NOT their photos.

  170. Andrea Says:

6th, 13th and 20th of June, this guy with the photographer says he was with her on those dates, I believe at that club. Poor, pitiful, Casey. :::::excuse my while I throw up….AGAIN::::

  171. Lanie Says:

Remember, Her mother (grandmother) took kaylee to see her father at the nursing home on June 15th. So it was after that, that something happened.

  172. Lanie Says:

It could have been close to July that something happened.

  173. Lanie Says:

It was the 15th of July that Casey was found by her mother and the call was made.

  174. Lanie Says:

On TV one said she could have been sold. I thought of that but, someone would have seen her by now. Her picture is everywhere.

  175. kay Says:

i wonder if she got into some deep gang activity or something in that nature and maybe she owed them money or had to do something to iniate herself to them and they might have taken caylee for something like a ransom….you know i jsut can’t believe that what ever this fantastic reason she told her attorney that he is not coming forth with it. you know……what was it he said cayce has her reasons and i know what they are and it will all come out?i think he should be charged with something too for not telling the authorities what she told him. i understand that client attorney rule but come on we’re talking about an innocent child. a baby that MIGHT be out there somewhere alive (very doubtful).

  176. Lanie Says:

I think if Caylee was out there she would have been seen by now. I think the whole kidnapping story is made up. I am now going back to the thory of the grandparents covering up a story for Casey. Something happened between June 15 and the 1st of July. This my thinking. I am still wondering about cement poured over the 4th of July weekend and the dogs picking up a smell in the grandparents back yard. The thing about that is, the call was on July 15th to the police. That is after the 4th and that doesn’t work in the time line. I feel the reason they have not looked at that is because they (police) want to to get more information if the grandparents are covering up this whole plot of kidnapping. The police are not looking at anything but this made up story. They are waiting for the clue they need to get whoever is in on this cover up. That is why they are letting all the phone conversations go on. The media is helping them by putting them on. They will trip up. I hope they will soon solve this case. Casey said to her brother, she thinks she is close to home. A clue? It is really bothering me.

I also think Casey never bonded with Caylee but her mother did. Casey, according to the grandmother, was asked to get out on her on. This could have caused a bitter dispute between them and Casey didn’t want the responsibility of caring for Caylee alone. Caylee (AWFUL TO THINK) was a throne in Casey’s side. She wanted to party and not have the responsibility of Caylee. Most likely mad with her mother, took it out on Caylee. Casey had said, according to her mother, that she would go bond with Caylee when she left. So, that says she had never bonded with her own baby. Sad, so Sad.
I want this baby so bad to be alive and well.

  177. Lanie Says:

Another thought came to my mine, who had the cement poured? I heard the grandparents were out of town but when? The grandmother wouldn’t have said the car smelled like a dead body in the car if she knew she was under the cement so, did Casey put the cement there? Do the police think she is under the cement but waiting for more information on who knew what? Coverup came after the call she was reported missing? I say, give them the rope they need to hang themselves. Put everything out in the media. Keep Casey in Jail. The media is doing a good job so keep it up. More is being said and the pieces of the puzzle will come together. Does Casey and her parents actually think they will not find out? The parents can’t take up for a their children if they do wrong. They only dig a hole for themselves.

  178. Andrea Says:

I don’t know why I’m even surprised anymore, but can you freakin’ believe that Cindy Anthony has explained those photos away by saying that Casey was conducting her own investigation as she stated. I once found fault in Cindy but then understood the possible protection of her daughter because I didn’t think Cindy knew anything. Now? She needs to be in a jailhouse too. I think the only family member that I’ve seen in public, and that was in one interview, that seemed credible was George Anthony.

All the hope I had that maybe, just maybe Caylee was alive is all but diminished at this point. I’m sick and I’m angry.

  179. Pops Says:

Since the photos of Casey out partying on June 20th, she is changing her story to say that Caylee has been taken from her a lot later than she previously stated…possibly late June or early July. I think when everything comes to light, it will turn out that poor Caylee died “accidentally”….possibly in the Anthony’s pool. I believe Casey tried to hide the body in the backyard, but after consideration, decided to move the body, via the trunk of the car. I also think this happened somewhere around June 24th-June 25th, which is when the Anthony’s reported to the police that someone had broken into their storage shed and stole 2 jugs of gasoline. I think we’ll see that Casey either used this gas for the car to move the body, or to try and get rid of any evidence. She doesn’t want to come clean to the police because she didn’t report the accidental death when it happened. Then being the habitual liar she seems to be, came up with the kidnapping story, and used a date weeks before the childs death to throw people off the original timeline of events. This would explain the decomposing smell in the yard, as well as the car. it would also explain her ex-fiance hearing Caylee in the background during a phone call on June 24th, as well as why nobody has been able to find this babysitter. I’m betting that once lab reports come back from the stain in the trunk, Casey will never see the outside world for a long time. How anyone could seem so cold and unemotional while they’ve lost their child is beyond me.

  180. Angela Says:

I’m sorry, but when a baby drowns accidentally in the pool you don’t dig a hole and bury them in the yard. You call 911. Your “theory” makes as much sense as this insane family’s explanations.

  181. Lanie Says:

Casey is an insane person. You knows what she has done. If Caylee is dead, and they find her, they can tell how she died. All I can say is, Casey cares only for herself. Her mother said she knows her daughter. I say yes she does. She knows more about her and not telling. You just don’t turn into this type of person over night. STOP defending her. You are closing the door to your own jail cell.

  182. kay Says:

i am wondering what is taking the crime lab so long to get that stuff processed. former fbi man on nancy grace said that they would have that process within 2-3 days. that they had to get some dna of caylee’s to match it to. surley there is a brush at grandma’s house that had her hair in it or something somewhere. where is all her clothes that was taken on her mini vacation???she has not mentioned anything like that. where is her shoes. you know she had more than 1 pair of shoes with her..i’m sorry i guess zanida took all that stuff too when she took caylee. right….
i think the police have this evidence already and are just waiting to see who else they can hang with it too is why they are not releasing the dna results on the dirt-and stain from the car trunk.
i think i have to agree with you too pops…
and angela, i think your right on the money……and hve been for a while here.

  183. Holly Says:

You know drug addicts do the craziest things. I heard they never even tested if she was doing drugs. probably Meth which causes people to lose all grip with reality. Something happened to this little girl…it reminds me of a story years ago of a mom who was partying and her little girl was raped and murdered and because the mom was high and an addict she panniked and tried to cover it up…just sad and crazy!!!

  184. Lanie Says:

George Anthony has been more calm but twice he has referred to his grandaughter as that little girl. I guess he is torn between the cover-up and what is the truth. Casey’s brother made not know anything but is trying to support the family by trying to believe them and to get to the bottom of the story.

  185. Andrea Says:

Give that girl an Oscar or let the CIA scout her out! She put on a pretty dress, adorns herself in makeup and nice jewelry, heads out to the club on June 20th, as well as the 6th and the 13th, and most likely the 27th….I mean, there was a pattern there, right? Her guise is certainly what any woman would wear if she were out looking for her missing daughter. The smiles, the peace signs, cleavage, the men posing with her, all part of the plan. She’s out looking for Zenaida, who by the way is not only a trusted nanny but also an avid nightclub and disco frequenter. Nothing wrong with that right? Any nanny who’s entrusted with the care of your 2yr old would certainly kidnap her and then take her along on a party hijinks, AT the clubs that you frequent and even work for as a promoter. Did Casey look under the tables and in the restroom for that poor little girl, or did she expect to see her sitting up at the bar, or even maybe doing the electric slide with Zenaida, on the dance floor. Is that what most kidnappers do? Are we, as a conerned people, so blind that we can’t see, in the pictures, how concerned Casey was, following her on resources, doing investigative work. I ached with empathy with her feigned smiles and exposed breasts, as she sought out the evil nanny and her beloved Caylee. I wonder what her acceptance speech will be when she gets that Oscar…..I’d like to thank….my mom.

  186. kay Says:

anyword on the reducing of the bond today?

  187. kay Says:

another thing i forgot…granny said that she had went to jacksonville but there is suspose to be fort lauderdale ties with this wnderful nannie…has anyone though that maybe they should be looking for a body in fort lauderdale…she had plenty of time to take her there..and gas from the shed..i also read that the week befor her mom found her a friend had to go out of town and she let cayce take her to the airport and keep her car that week and she picked her up at the airport. what was wrong with cayce’s car that she had been driving every where???out of gas????or containing a stinch that was so bad she could not drive it???

  188. skeptic Says:

    ^
Andrea, that was the best post ever. You should be the prosecutor!

  189. May Says:

This whole thing is disgusting, I have an almost 3 year old daughter and would have been in a loony bin by now if not found yet. I totally agree with Lannie, the police is putting the pieces together and using the media to do so, reason why the judge denied the order to stop the release of the tapes. The more and more a liar says their story the more it changes and the more clues they give. Cindy obviously loves all the media attention and one day will slip up. It’s sad but they are so focused on defending Casey that it is obvious that Caylee is dead.

  190. Lanie Says:

Not lowering bail. Does anyone think she sold her?? I don’t think so. She had plenty of money after ripping off the charge card and her friend of $700.00 plus checks.

If you think she’d be the first mother to try to cover up an accidental childs’ death, I suggest you follow the national news a little more.

  192. Shauncey Says:

I saw Nancy Grace last night and was just sick. All the 911 calls I heard, this girl NEVER ONCE said where her baby was. NEVER. I agree with Mark Klauss. If they let her out of jail, Caylee will never be found. I’ve never seen anything quite like this before. When Casey smiled in court the whole time the camara was on her, it made me sick, angry and made me feel completely helpless. I think if they keep her in jail, she will eventually break down and confess. What a horrible mother to have. Let me tell it the whole damn family is crazy.

  193. kay Says:

pop, your so right……….she did not sell this child……..you know i was talking to my mother about it she ssid that she thought that she had maybe accidentally hurt this sweet baby and then went into a complety denial type of shock, one where you do something this awful, make up a excuse for it and then you block the truth completly out of your mind and the live that you fabricated to make it all better in your head. and this is what she really believes. i’ve heard of people passing a lit detector test because they are really convinved of in their own mind of their story is the right thing that took place…..

  194. Lanie Says:

ANGELA said, Can anyone figure out why grandma didn’t report her car and credit card stolen until 31 days later????????

My bank calls me if they see anything unusal. I would say something was unusal in this case. Maybe her statement came.
She may have let her use the car ( maybe not) but after getting a letter from the towing company, paying to get the car back, and found the smell, she went nuts.
I believe we will not hear about the report of the car until after they see who knew what. If they find Caylee was the cause of the smell, you better believe some more heads will roll if she has been hid and lies told by the family.

  195. Melissa Says:

I personally do not believe their was any “accident”. If that were the case, why not report it? If it truly was an accident then their would be no harm in doing so. I think Casey is just another sick individual who probably killed her child like the rest of them.

  196. kay Says:

i jsut read a news report that the judge ordered her psyciatric evaluation SEALED

  197. Donna Says:

Question….. when crazy..I mean Casey told her mother she was going on a mini vaction. was Caylee with her at that time or perhaps Caylee was already gone and crazy.. I mean Casey was going on the lam. Did she tell her mom over the phone or in person. I just think that’s the time she hurt the little girl and started the cover up. I also can’t understand why the pshyco has yet to ask anyone she’s had a phone conversation with if they have any news on Caylee. She never mentions her at all. (other than “their just worried about Caylee”) This FREAK is insane.

  198. Lanie Says:

She is charged with negligence now. Accident or not, she was negligent with her child. She did not protect her child.

Pop is right about people covering up accidents with their children. Something happened with a 9 month old in Tampa about 8 years ago that was never found. That too, by parents, said it was a kidnapping. They were never charged but was heard on tape (house bugged) that the baby was dead and buried. Arguments went round and round that this was not said. So, yes, it does happen.

I do believe people will be outraged if this case is solved and evidence hid and no one else is charged. This has to be stopped that people thing they can get away with it. It is a crime.

  199. kay Says:

the ex-fiance told police that he talked to cayce on june 24 and tht caylee was there because he heard her in the backround and she told her to get off the table. when were these pictures of her taken ? or do i have this date wrong?
if this was my child i would be tearing that jail down to get out and find my child. there would not be a jail built that could hold me…and your right never a mention of them finding her. i f i were her i’d be wanting to know what they found out so i would know how long befor i got sentanced to jail for murder……

  200. Melissa Says:

Again, you don’t try to cover up an accident unless you yourself caused it.

  201. Lanie Says:

Yes, I heard the exboyfriend say that and he said the 24th. Makes it closer to the time of July, doesn’t it. I do wonder, where was Caylee on the night of the 20th of June. What I want to know is, when were the grandparents
not home. Were they out of Orlando? When did she borrow the shovel? When did she take gas out of the shed? If anyone knows, I would like to know.

  202. Angela Says:

HA!!!! They can “seal” the psychiatric evaluation all they want…we already KNOW THE RESULTS!!!!!

  203. Lanie Says:

    YOU SAID THAT RIGHT ANGELA.
Casey’s mother is still powering her behind.

  204. Lanie Says:

That was powdering her behind. LOL

  205. Shauncey Says:

I agree with everyone. That jail couldn’t hold me either if I was INNOCENT. I think we all feel that she’s not.

  206. kay Says:

sad but so true….and the horrible part of it is that this beautiful little girl never even got to start to live a life…..just because of some stupid selfish self centered -idiot…her own mom……….if she didn’t want little caylee why didn’t she just give her away….(like she claims to have done)

  207. kay Says:

this child is not alive and i feel it in my heart because with all the media attention i truley think who ever had her would have come forth by now saying…this child is ok..i have her….even if it was a cll to a recorded tip line….she is not with us anymore. she is one of God’s special little angels I’m sure

  208. kay Says:

i watched the nancy grace show last night and then read the newest phone call release. any one with a cell phone knows that you can get phone records from any cell phone company. regardless where the sim card is. she had to have a phone number for both phones and it must have been the same if she was swaping the sim card between the 2 of them. so her cell phone records are her cell phone records….it would not matter who the provider is really.

  209. Lavonna Says:

I watched it also.. She has no feelings for this child or she would be going crazy and not worried about only herself.

  210. kay Says:

i think she is happy being the center of attention, she sounded so up beat …not upset at all. she really sounded a little worried the first time she called and said that it was a waste calling home…now the lime light is on her and she sounds great…..she has what she wanted…too bad poor caylee had to pay for it.
another thing i noticed in the police report she told them that zanida had lived in that apt until she moved into a house that he mother “gloria ” owned. I wonder if the police have crossed referanced all these zanida’s that they have found for a mother named gloria….you know you find that info out on a person search.

  211. Andrea Says:

Listening to Lee, Casey’s brother, makes me feel like atleast one person is concerned for Caylee. At first it seemed scripted, and in the best interest of Casey. But the more I listen, the more it seems like he’s written his own scripted questions, in the best interest of Caylee. Almost to try and trip her up. That’s my hope, too.

LE always has more information and know so much more than we know, and so I’m also hoping that they aren’t searching for Caylee because they already know what happened to her :( I would have thought they’d have done some gridwork by now but apparently they haven’t.

And, this is morbid, but if Casey did dispose of her little body, in a body of water, as many do, what are the chances it would ever be found if gators are rampant in Florida? :(

  212. kay Says:

this sort of goes bacl to little trenton duckett when he frst came up missing and they were searching some gator ponds in the areas his mom had been . they were prepared to kille the gators in that particular pond and cut them open to see if there were human bones. but they have no where to look for this child, they keep saying she has been gone since june 9. and that is not trues. and the ex-fiance said that he talked to cayce on june 24th and he actually herd caylee in the backround and henew her voice and it was hers. so they should try to retrace every thing possible from june 24th till she was reported missing. her cell phone records and her shopping reciepts will give them an idea of what area she was in during that time.
i know poor little calyee is gone…but maybe this will give them an area to start checking things like parks, ponds etc…

  213. Andrea Says:

OK, I really should be doing dishes or laundry or something other than this BUT as I was doing my menial chores, a thought occurred to me and this is really a stretch of the imagination….what if the cadaver dogs picked up on something unrelated to Caylee, such a the smell of decomposition from years ago? The shovel that Casey borrowed (which is now in custody) from the neighbor could have been used for something totally legit and dirt transferred from the yard to the car, via the shovel? I said it was a stretch!

But it’s not that big of a stretch that cadaver dogs can pick up scent from many, many years ago. One case, in particular, that I can think of is the Manson ranch. They recently took cadaver dogs out there to see if there was evidence of buried bodies, et al. That’s been, what? 35-40yrs ago?

Maybe someone had died on the Anthony property/lot many years ago????

I will now return to my mundane life, thanks for listening to me ramble. LOL

  214. kay Says:

just seen where the family met with the FBI yesterday for 6 hrs. giving them their verson of what has happened. theyar e suspose to be handling this as a “KIDNAPPING” i bet there will be some answers now…witness and family will not be able to weasle answers to the FBI. also said that ornage county hope to have lab results on car material no later than fri.
you know since it has been reported that the results of the “STAIN” will be out hopefully by friday , i bet cayce will start changing up the story some………this will be an exciting next 2 days to watch and see how she squirms her way out of this one.
i also seen an interview witht he writter of the poeple magazine and he said that he interview several of he friends and was told by all of them that she was a drama queen and told lies all the time and if she got caught in one of them she still would not back down from it..no matter what………..even sited one time that she was walking a dog and it pooped insomeone yard and they came out yelling at her about it and it was a big blow up and she said that the dog was not her dog…and never backed down from that lie………

  215. Andrea Says:

Yes, that should prove very interesting. I pray that this truly was a kidnapping and that Caylee could possibly be ok. Oh and I forgot about the strong smell of decomposition when speculating about old cadaver scent.

  216. Shauncey Says:

    Andrea,
I for one enjoyed your “brainstorming”. Everyone needs all the help they can get in finding Caylee, being her sorry a** mom had been no help. So keep thinking. One of your thoughts just may make a difference in helping to find Caylee.
    Kay,
Right on for the info. And your right. With the FBI involved, this is going to get really sticky for crazy…I mean Casey.
    Donna,
    Loved your post!

  217. Angela Says:

What??? Casey a drama queen??? Tells lies and won’t back down from it? I can tell by the inflections in her voice on those jail recordings, that she is lying!

The “old dead body” scenario is a little too convenient…Casey dug up an old body at the very same time her daughter went missing?

  218. Angela Says:

And now her phone calls are spoken in “code”. But the family has absolutely nothing to hide.

  219. Andrea Says:

Yeah, Angela, I know….seems farfetched and coinidental, but with me forgetting all about the pizza/dead body smell, it seemed a speculation worth a shot. And I didn’t mean that she would have dug up another body, but if years and years ago someone died on that lot, even before the Anthony’s, maybe even before a house was there….could it be possible for dogs to attract to that area?

Hey, stranger coincidences have occurred and at this point we all just want answers and I’m just too much of a thinker. We all remember a man who was imprisoned on many coincidences and for reasons that to many were suspicious and incriminating, yet he had absolutely no involvement with the crime. Richard Ricci in the Elizabeth Smart disappearance. I nailed it from the get go but no one believed me (not that it mattered, of course, I’m on the “outside”) or the many others who thought he was being falsely accused. That case changed how I think about other cases plus add in the fact that my heart truly just wants this girl to be alive, my thinking isn’t rational at all times.

Something else I wanted to mention and I’m sure you’ve probably all read them, but the comments from Casey to Lee on his myspace page shows that they were extremely close OR (because I can’t read his comments back to her) at the least Casey thought the world of him. At times she almost seems desperate to see him and she definitely went to him for advice…..I’m hoping that out of everyone he can help break this case.

  220. kay Says:

i think he knows that his sister is a little off and he is trying to really really find this baby. he sounds like he is doing everything that he can do to find ehr and he knows what an a** she is making of herself that is why he told her to act accordingly when they were on the phone.
have you noticed that until they went to court yesterday to block all this info from being made public that we got everything rigth away..jail visit etc…now they are not releasing the phone calls and the video visit from mom and dad until later…still have not release the video from the visit yesterday …..i did see her mom and the attorney on the today show this am and mom really clamed up…she barley said anything except she had met with the fbi and turned all info over to them and when she was asked about the pictures she said that she had not seen them and was not aware of them…oh crap c’mon….is she blind…..
attorney said he had seen them and that they had not be authenicated yet as to who took them and what the dates were for them. cold have been a few months ago…..

  221. Donna Says:

The only person I feel bad for is Lee, This poor guy is struggling to get this little girl home. But after each phone conversation with Crazy….oops did it again Casey even Lee seems to loose a little hope. I think he know’s deep down what his sister did and he’s just grasping at straws now.

Cindy and Your husband (I forget his name) he seems to be the only one with sense enough to shut the hell up. ANyway
You really should have “called crazy out” when she was younger on her lies. She would have realized no one believes them. She really thinks people believe what she says. Had you not let her get away with everything I think
she wouldn’t be saying these wack ass things. She would think back to everytime she lied and no one looked the other way. Perhaps she would have thought twice before doing something so horrific. And the stealing!!!! you could have burned her hands or something….Note to my 5 wonderful children….don’t ever steal from your mommy!
I just think you two suck! And before I see the emails that say it’s not the parents fault…save it. I come from old school parenting. where you listened or you got your ass beat. For Crazy’s problems, her parents should have gotten her diagnosed with what ever disorder she has and could have treated it instead of looking the other way. So for that I feel I can blame them.

Crazy….. no one believes you not even your mommy or your daddy. So shut your mouth….and not just because it’s full of lies but because I can’t stand your voice. I think I have mini strokes when you talk.

    just my opinion.

  222. Andrea Says:

LOL…you think you have mini strokes when she talks! Too funny.

  223. Andrea Says:

    http://www.wftv.com/news/17053323/detail.html

Rotten Pizza Test conducted by wftv

  224. Donna Says:

Can I sue her for the fact that she gives me mini strokes?
I’ll email her lawyer maybe he’ll take the case. If I see him laughing in court one more time, I might sue him too. Can you sue someone for being a fat asshole?

  225. Angela Says:

Wow…you can sue people for a lot of things, but if you could sue someone for being a “fat a-hole” there would be no end to the litigations! (Not to mention the planet would be overpopulated with defense attorneys and WE CANNOT HAVE THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Isn’t it pathetic that there is really nothing new in this case, and we are all reduced to pulling our hair out, screaming at our television sets, and threatening to sue the idiots involved in this case, as recompense for our own mental anguish? Casey just may be crazy enough to drive us all to a padded cell and a life of basketweaving, while the nurse wipes the drool from our chins.

  226. Andrea Says:

LOL you can sue anyone for anything, it’s the winning that you can’t be too sure about. Could you imagine how tied up the courts would be with all the fat asshole cases, not to mention the fat bastard ones?

It is pathetic that we are more concerned with finding Caylee than Casey is and apparently Cindy Anthony. I do have much admiration for Lee, I think he’s trying his best to get answers and if God willing, Caylee is found alive, I hope that (barring any involvement, direct or indirect, of course) he could get custody of her. From what I gather from reading his myspace page and how he’s conducted himself, he seems like a standup guy.

Anyone else anxious for tomorrow to come in hopes that the DNA results are back? Oh and Angela, you mean I’m the only here that wears a bib and likes to play with small shiny things? :)

  227. Lavonna Says:

You girls are funny! Thanks for the laughs and for sharing your thoughts. I hope this ends soon with them finding her.

  228. Neon Says:

One things for sure. I wish the truth would come out soon. I know I don’t have to watch it, but I’m compelled the minute I get home to turn on the T.V. and see if they found Caylee. I pray that she’s alive, but my intuition says she’s not. I have to agree with some of you. I’ts gotten to a point where I can’t stand to listen to the mother or grandmother even talk. You can tell they’re hiding something. It’s not just body language, but the lack of concern to really find Caylee. The boyfriend said (saw it last night) that the last time he saw them together, they were at the pool. Could mom have fell asleep from late night partying and Caylee fell in the pool and drowned? Yes, normal people would have called 911, but I haven’t seen anything normal about this case yet. I don’t want to believe she would hurt her intentionally, but maybe she did panic and buried her until she could figure out another plan. When she knew the parents were coming back from FL., she moved her to her car. A couple of other questions. Were there any dumpsters near where the car was abandoned, and has the landfill been checked. Also were there any security cameras in the parking lot where it was abandoned. We’re all speculating at this point, but with so many lies and circumstantial evidence, it’s hard not to think that something bad has happened to Caylee. I’m praying for the whole family. It’s very sad watching this unfold. It seems like Lee is the only family member really concerned about finding his neice alive. I just hope she’s found. .Soon…

  229. Lanie Says:

Casey is the child everyone hopes not to have. The child from hell. No mather if her parents are taking up for her or not, she has caused all this heartache for them. She has had to be a problem for them. Listen to her, Listen the way she talks to her mother. Does her mother deserve this? Her mother may have been over protected and spoiled her but I have seen that before and they never turned out like this Casey. What is her reason for lying about everything before this happened? Stealing money. Child from hell. What a nightmare.

  230. perplexed Says:

Well, we can all rest easy….Casey wants to do her “own” investigating. Not only is she delusional but she is now Perry Mason. Lovely! This coming from woman who can’t tell the difference between truth and fiction. I’ve been following this case and this poor baby’s family and their lawyer make me very feel very ill at ease. They wore out my patience within 15 minutes of watching.

  231. Rebecca Says:

For Gods sake people, WAKE UP. You can leave pizza on the counter when you have teenagers, it will never smell like a decomposed body. You can leave it in your trunk for 6 months it will be hard dough, but it will never smell like a decomposed body. Did you hear the 911 call, where the mother tells 911 that the car smells like someone has died in the car? “Like a decomposed body” Remember her husband is retired law enforcement.

From the beginning…It looks like the child lives in the Grandparents house with Grandma, Grandpa, and Casey. The Grandparents, especially the Grandmother LOVES little Caylee to death, as if she were her own child, she has probably raised her most of her life, while her daughter (Casey) was out with friends partying or working. When she worked.

Casey is young, 22, likes to go out and party. Isn’t working, lying to mother, stealing money, probably on drugs.

Casey and her mother get into a fight. Casey leaves with Caylee (well, it is her daughter legally) She keeps Caylee away to punish her mom, because she know how much her mom loves Caylee. (She’s jealous, mentally ill, and doesn’t care what happens to Caylee, because maybe, her mother will love her again, not her daughter Caylee.)

Casey is on drugs, partying, she leaves Caylee in the car, maybe in the heat, and she dies. She drives around with her body in the trunk, until the stinch gets to bad. She bury’s the body somewhere, before she ditches the car at the check cashing establishment, (never heard yet when the car was impounded) but soon after that, she’s been gone for a month now and cannot hide it any longer, or keep the known fact that Caylee is no longer here, as the Grandmother is pressing to see her (Caylee) and speak to her, the party is over for Casey and she has no where else to go but home. She arrives at her mothers house without Caylee, the grandmother calls 911 to report her car has been stolen by her daughter. (It was really just a ploy to try to get Casey to tell her where Caylee was.) It doesn’t work, It can’t work, Caylee is dead, but being the liar that she is, Casey can’t tell her mom or the detectives the truth. So the lies continue to mount, nothing makes sense, nothing fits. Caylee can’t be found with this kind of information. Alive or not.

The parents of Casey come to the conclusion and accept the fact that Caylee is not coming back, so all they have left is their daughter (Casey) so now they follow along with her, in her lies and are trying to protect her so she doesn’t go to prison for a very long time. Because if no one confesses or they don’t have a body. It’s possible that Casey may never be charged with anything more than what she is now. So she gets off scott free.

Yeah, I think she has some physiological problems. Most people that can’t be truthful are sick.

I couldn’t find my daughter once when she was around 10 yrs old, I immediately called 911. The police found her, and QUICK. They do not take these cases lightly by no means. Thank God she ended up being at the next door neighbors house with her bicycle in the garage, where I couldn’t see it or her.

When she said, from jail, in a telephone conversation “All they are worried about is finding Caylee”…That is a real clue that she is mentally ill…Isn’t that what they are susposed to be worried about? My God…their two year old grandaughter is missing.

God help this family. I am praying for them all. This has got to be very hard to go through all of this. May God find a way to bless them after this is all over.

  232. perplexed Says:

This is terrible! I’m sure the police are hoping that the longer they hold her the sooner she will break down and talk. I must say I’m surprised it didn’t happen sooner. She doesn’t show even the barest trace of emotion. She truly comes across as a self-absorbed brat. Er, your child is gone, for like a month?! I think it is starting to unravel already. If anyone else saw the grandmother on Greta I think it’s happened already.

  233. loulou Says:

i am 50 yrs old.. if i talked to my Mother like that, I would not make it to 51.

  234. Lanie Says:

Rebecca, you got it right. That is exactly the way I think. We should not judge the grandparents for what Casey has done. They are only hoping that Caylee is alive. Hoping their daughter didn’t do the unthinkable. They are trying not to make her out as a monster as some have said. They know she is a problem and don’t want the worst for her. I can only say, we should be thankful that we don’t have this problem. I too felt the grandmother was hiding maybe even the crime but the more I hear, I think its Casey herself and now her family is having to pay for her problems. My question is, what would you do if you had a problem daughter and this happened. Wouldn’t you freak out at first like the grandmother and say no, she could not have done this? Never in a million years think this could happen. In her mind, it had to be something else in the car. Not her grandbaby that she loves so much. I hope this soon ends. They need to heal.

  235. KH Says:

I certainly would hope that I would not be an enabler, which is my opinion of the parents, especially Cindy.

This type of lying doesn’t happen overnight. Casey probably has had mental problems for many years and the parents should have gotten her some help before she was 18, when they could legally do so.

    Thoughts and prayers for Caylee!

  236. Angela Says:

Last night on Nancy Grace, she interviewed a “friend of the family”. This woman said she does not believe that Casey killed Caylee because “that is not the Casey I know.” Isn’t that always the excuse? Jeffrey Dahmer’s friends and family said that…Scott Peterson’s family said that…Justin Barber’s friends and family said that. They put blinders on and all of a sudden, they have an answer to excuse everything away!

    Dear Family:
You say that the Casey you all “know and love” would never harm her daughter. But how well did you really know her? You didn’t even know where she worked! And would the Casey you “know and love” steal $40,000 and a car from her parents? Would she lead police on a wild goose chase, and lie to them OVER and OVER and OVER again? Would she go out partying while her daughter is missing? You must admit that you don’t really know her at all. The rest of us can see that she is a monster…and most likely a murderer.

  237. Andrea Says:

Breaking News…..CSI at the grandparent’s home right now….but not being told why…whether it’s something new or a followup. FYI

  238. Angela Says:

Also, something occured to me last night. What if Casey found out that her parents were having a slab poured over July 4th weekend, and panicked, not knowing where they would be digging, so that is when she decided to dig up the body?

There is a CSI van outside of the home right now! I wonder why they haven’t used the equipment that can identify disturbed earth where something was buried, and if they collected soil samples from it, it would indicate the presence of decomp.

  239. Andrea Says:

That would make sense. I also can’t seem find when it was that the grandparents went on vacation, if they did at all. It’s what I’ve heard. Does the time correlate with when Casey borrowed a shovel?

The grandparents were meeting with the sheriff’s department this morning and I’m wondering what occurred to make for a CSI visit to the home. According to the news, CSI was only there for 5-6mins and George led them in through the garage. They were out back but don’t know if they went into the house and CSI left with evidence, in atleast one bag.

I’m hoping this is a sign of something bigger to come today, like a formal murder (I hate to say murder, but it is what it seems to be) charge. They only have about 2weeks left to charge her before they have to let her walk. They will not allow that to happen.

  240. Donna Says:

I keep hearing stop blaming the grandparents. I said I feel like I can because they dropped the ball when they had the chance to get her diagnosed with what ever illness crazy has. I get wanting to help your kid and believe they could never harm their child….but, really they had to of known with the behavior she has shown (I’m gonna say) all of her life that she is off! You don’t go wacko over night. My first priority would be finding out what happened to my granddaughter. My statement would not have been, Oh I saw my daughter but, I didn’t want to question her about the baby, I wanted our visit to be about her!!!!! Are you kidding me. Everytime she tried to speak I would say Caylee. Remember her. I’d show her pictures. That’s what makes me think the GP’s know she’s throwed off and hope that when they make everything about casey she might give up some info. I don’t know anymore I just want to scream!!!!! I agree with if she is alive Lee gets her and takes her far away from the crack pots. Anyway, what I wrote her has turned into rambling and probably makes no sense.

Don’t even get me started on that TWIT….aka family friend that was on Nancy Grace. She makes me sick too. How about they find an honest person that knows these freaks.
Why have the TWIT on anyway??? If I need a “crazy didn’t do it fix” I can listen to Cindy any time day or night. So Nancy Grace I’m begging you, enough with the morons! and stop saying breaking news just in because its not breaking news I hear before you come on. WHERE THE HELL ARE THESE DNA RESULTS!!!!!! Any body up for PIZZA!!! WHAT MORONS!!!!!

  241. Lanie Says:

How do you know she hasn’t had medical help? How do you know what has been done? How do you know anything about what has been going on in this family? The grandmother called the police. If she had done anything, why would she called the police and say her car smelled like dead body have been there? I will not say what this family has gone through because I don’t know. You don’t blame people until it is proven.

  242. Angela Says:

    OOOHHHH…Is it a meat lover’s from Domino’s?????????

  243. Angela Says:

    Lanie,
Oh, really? I blamed Scott Peterson before it was proven. And many others, too. As for Casey, it hasn’t been proven…YET(!)…but come back and visit us again in a few weeks. We’ll see who was right all along….AGAIN!!!

  244. kay Says:

you guys have got to read this pyschic site…i find this very interesting. look at all of the links and i think they have actually turned this info over to the police dept.

    briansprediction.com/gale.CayleeAnthony
a little spooky to me but makes lots of intersting point such as the street names are also the names of the states she told them to look in. also new spelling for zanida found in kissimmee fl

  245. Lanie Says:

I’m not stupit. I wasn’t talking about Casey not being guility. I was talking about the grandparents. You are so smart.

  246. Donna Says:

LOL…Lanie, You don’t know anything either but, yet you sure don’t mind posting your opinion…I’m sorry is this your site? and only people that agree with you can post? These are all opinions…..and opinions are like assholes…everybody has one.. Anywho, I think if they did get her treatment she would’nt be crazy… if the treatment failed perhaps she would be locked away. Certainly she would have had a closer eye on her when she became a mother…. Anyway thanks for the laugh.

  247. Lanie Says:

Thanks so much. I’ll do what you should do. Wait for the proof.

  248. Donna Says:

  250. Lanie Says:

No, I’m not Cindy. Just giving my opinion but seems as if it isn’t your opinion, you get shot down.

  251. Donna Says:

LOL…. I’m only responding to your post silly. Just like you responded. Anyway I like placing blame. I think I’m gonna blame you too. :) I know you were involved somehow. I’ll form an opinion when I get some time to think about how you could have been involved.

  252. Pops Says:

It seems to me that with CSI pulling evidence from the Anthony house, we’re not far away from finding out what happened to Caylee.

It seems odd to me that all of a sudden the FBI gets involved after the family has been asking for them for a week, and the day after the CSI guys are pulling evidence from the home…something tells me that the police/FBI already have the results from the stain in the trunk.

  253. Lanie Says:

Donna, I don’t you but that is serious. You must be a child. I got better things to do than talk to people like you. SEE YA

  254. Donna Says:

I agree Pops and it turns my stomach. It’s hard to have hope after this. Still praying though.

  255. Donna Says:

ouch, Lanie…. since I’m a child (you started it).

  256. Andrea Says:

OK girls, what happened to the humor to lighten up the joint? We have varied opinions but let’s not forget we all share the same hope that Caylee is found, either dead or alive.

  257. Shauncey Says:

Where have all of you crazy ladies been?? I am SO enjoying all of your comments. Were all on the same page. Ok, so I’m from the ol’ skool of parenting too, where you definately got a BEATDOWN if you didn’t listen. I’m 35 yrs old, and I STILL don’t curse or disrespect my parents. (or any elders for that matter) Anyways, last night she really pissed me off. This non-chalant, know-everything-but shows-no-remorse attitude just doesn’t work. Why isn’t she PLEADING and BEGGING with the “kidnappers” to return her precious child? I’ll tell you why, because she KNOWS where Caylee is, and she knows what happened to her. I agree with Donna regarding the “family friend”. Can we get someone to speak whose concern is for Caylee and Caylee only?? Someone who is not gonna say, “that’s not the person I know”.
How many times have we all heard that? (just on this blog alone hundreds) I would love to have just 2 minutes alone with Casey. I promise life for her would never be the same.
Much respect to Mark Klauss. When he speaks, the defense attorneys look even MORE like assholes. Just thinking about them makes me want to throw up. The poor brother Lee is an emotional mess. You can hear it in his voice. When I listen to Casey on the phone, I want to tear my own hair out. I want to hit something, hard. It’s just unbelieveable how this case is proceeding.
    Andrea,
Keep us posted on the CSI van.

  258. Angela Says:

Since we’re ordering the meat lovers pizza, can I have the maggots on the side?

  259. Melissa Says:

I am with the majority here who think that Casey knows exactly where Caylee is. I have no doubt in my mind that, unfortunately, (as hard as it is for my to type the following sentence because my daughter’s name is Kaylee), Caylee will be found dead.

    On another note, Kay…

I had spent an awful lot of time on different blogs when Madeleine McCann disappeared and Brianspredictions came up time and time again. I just don’t think you need a psychic to figure this one out.

  260. Andrea Says:

And now for some interesting reading, this should keep you girls busy and out of each other’s hair…..

    http://www.nysun.com/comments/22794

posted by a Zenaida Ortiz…….supposedly Caylee’s bio father’s name was Jesus Ortiz (nick Jesse) and I remember a comment from Casey to Lee on msypace (would have to check the date) where Casey says something like, “do me a favor, if you see Jesse, punch him in the face for me”

  261. Andrea Says:

why aren’t my comments showing up?

    Note from blog owner
    Andrea,

Some went to spam – I don’t know why. There were 3, but they looked to be the same, so I only posted 1. If this happens again, email me. I promise I have not blocked you! :)

  262. Melissa Says:

Were there any reason for them to be deleted?

  263. Donna Says:

We can get the magots but, we are not eating it for eat least 12,13,15 days.

Shauncey, I hear ya, I would love some time alone with casey….you know so we can talk. (about ol’sckool beatdowns)

  264. Andrea Says:

Let me try this again….interesting article posted by a Zenaida Ortiz

    http://www.nysun.com/comments/22794

Surely a coincidence (because the obit, linked below) for Ortiz states his mother as being Olga….) but an odd one considering that supposedly Caylee’s bio dad was Jesus Ortiz, who died on May 8th, 2007 (incidently a day after this article was posted)

    http://www.newcomernet.com/obituaries/obitsearch.asp?selected=4&ObitID=20113&EMSessionID=-1&Source=value

I wonder if Zenaida is a common Spanish name like Mary is in American names?

  265. Andrea Says:

I don’t think so, I was posting links to the obit for Caylee’s supposed bio father and also a link to an unrelated article posted by a Zenaida Ortiz (the bio father’s name was Ortiz). Ortiz’s mother’s name was listed as Olga in the obit. Just found it an interesting read and wondering how common the name Zenaida is in Spanish culture, maybe like Mary is in American culture.

  266. Angela Says:

Oh, I can wait! Just as long as we leave it in the trunk in the Florida heat until it smells like a dead body.

I’m surprised Casey hasn’t tried out the lie she told about her dog…”But that isn’t even my daughter! I’ve never seen her before in my life!”

  267. Donna Says:

LOL…. she’s saving that for her defense. It’s her wild card.
As far as the Pizza I wont eat mine any other way. Smelling like a dead body is a MUST!

  268. Angela Says:

Have any of you EVER known someone who lies like this girl does?

  269. perplexed Says:

I’ve checked around for a lot of info to give the mother the benefit of the doubt and it’s utterly impossible. Does anyone know if it’s true that when she ran up her mom’s credit cards it amounted to $40,000? I saw this is one article and I’m trying to convince myself it’s not true. I can’t believe this case. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen anything quite like it. At the very least, try to fake some concern, Casey. I can’t believe the stoicism.

  270. Donna Says:

Not known personally but heard about…Susan Smith

  271. Andrea Says:

I think I mentioned this before but maybe it was just a thought, but I used to have a friend who was a pathological liar….not only big lies but even small things that didn’t matter. It’s funny because it could be pouring down rain and she was the type that would lie and say it wasn’t and even actually try to manipulate you into thinking that it really was sunny out. So much so, that you might even question your own reality. Notice I said “used to have a friend”…..had to cut her off, being friends with her was very exhausting.

  272. tjaye Says:

I wonder what made the “nanny” after almost 2 years of caring for Caylee, decide NOW to take Caylee? Just curious.

  273. Angela Says:

I can imagine it would be very exhausting to have a friend like that, because I am exhausted just hearing about the lies Casey has told! How does someone like that even get any friends? I wonder if her “friends” all think she is guilty as hell and that’s why we don’t see any of them coming to her defense?

  274. tjaye Says:

    Perplexed,

Yes, the story is that Casey ran up her mom’s credit card to $45,000 (NOT $4,500). That was a little bazaar for me to believe as well. I thought they meant to say $4,500…but after listening and reading all the stories surrounding this case, they all continue to say the same exact amount ($45,000). I have religiously followed this story from day one. The best detailed daily show to watch about this whole case is Nancy Grace. She is so thorough with everything…including taking questions from the callers. I haven’t seen a show yet to TOP this one when you want to follow a case. However, I am still a little unclear about exactly when Casey went on this shopping spree with the stolen [Cindy's] car? Was it like within the same week that she was picked up by authorities or was it some time back (and Cindy just now wanted to TELL IT) because she was upset with Casey about her granddaughter? Also, who picked Casey up from this abandoned car….and took her …WHERE? I read that Casey left her purse in the front seat of the abandoned car. I thought that was a little interesting… I don’t know too many females who leave their purse behind (regardless of what the situation is).

Please shed a little light on my questions…

  275. Andrea Says:

Didn’t Casey just recently get a tattoo of Bella Vida or something, in honor of Caylee? Read this from that BriansDreams site posted earlier…

Theory found on Websleuths (not my own):

I have not seen anyone make the connection that I have made. (though it’s hard to keep up with the thread!!)

It has to do with the only Zanaida Gonzalez (with an “a”, not an “e”) listed in WhitePages. com **for the entire U.S.A.** — show is in Kissimmee, FL, just south of Orlando.

Her address is 1817 Catawba Circle in Kissimmee.

Barely two miles west from her address, straight down Hwy 192, is the entrance to the new and still under construction Resort called “La Bella Vida.”

Satellite views of this property show it would be an ideal place to dispose of a body, with undeveloped areas, wooded areas, and water. And it looks like a pretty place.

Today I saw the stories and posts about the mystery of Jose Baez having been chosen to represent Casey, and who is paying for his services.

I looked him up on WhitePages, too. His home (on Abby Drive in Kissimmee) is approximately two miles from the address of Zanaida-with-an-a (the only one listed in the U.S.) …

and approximately two miles from the new La Bella Vida resort property.

Sorry for being so out of the blue, but I wanted someone to see this.

Not at all, any information is always welcome :)

  276. tjaye Says:

I just heard an update on the case. The authorities searched INSIDE the Anthony’s home and left with 2 large trash bags full….. of some stuff. They haven’t reported what was in the bags yet. I will definitely have to watch Nacy Grace TONIGHT @ 8:00pm est on CNN to see if this has been revealed. Wow, I wonder what the got?

  277. Andrea Says:

Maybe Casey memorialized her with the tattoo? I’m not even sure if and when she got a tattoo. And I don’t believe the part about Baez living nearby having any meaning. Just the Bella Vida connection.

and update, going to be a 3pm news conference on Caylee. Just a heads up.

  278. Melissa Says:

    An update on what channel?

  279. Melissa Says:

If they are having a news conference, does anyone else think this could be “it”?

  280. tjaye Says:

Oh my god, did someone above mention LIE DETECTOR test…duh…. Sounds like this would have been the FIRST thing the authorities did. I think Casey Anthony has everyone afraid of her (her family as well as the authorities). Also, whatever happened to INTERROGATION? Did that get thrown out with the LIE DETECTOR test???? Apparently so!!!!

  281. Andrea Says:

FoxNews but it’s running late, obviously.

  282. perplexed Says:

    Thanks, Tjaye,

What the heck did she buy? I’m also puzzled about the purse being left behind, most likely purposely to look car-jacked? I’m missing that info. Where was the car and what has Casey said about it? Stolen, I guess, and what, if any, more details. Also, has the police/FBI found or talked to a woman named Zenaida? Actually, I’ve been following Nancy since this story broke. This blog, which fills me in on some updates before the show is great, too. Does anyone know if the lab results are going to be realeased today?

  283. Andrea Says:

Good God! The anticipation is killing me. I think this may be “it”. Especially since no phone calls have been released today and that’s been a daily norm.

  284. Melissa Says:

I just read that the DNA results are expected be released at the news conference. I have a feeling in a very short time we’re going to know for sure if Caylee is no longer with us.

  285. Melissa Says:

Somebody please tell me what’s going on. I don’t have sound on my computer at work so I can’t hear a damn thing!

  286. Andrea Says:

That seemed like the biggest waste of time. What was the purpose of this news conference. Of course, maybe the police have a purpose. I don’t know, but that was very disappointing.

  287. Angela Says:

Melissa-LOL…you are too funny. We’ll let you know what happens, dear!

  288. Andrea Says:

    Not a darn thing, Melissa.

  289. Melissa Says:

What was the point then? I thought they only held news conferences if some key evidence was found or something of importance?

  290. Donna Says:

When the hell is this conference!!! Did I miss it….

    note from blog owner

    Donna,
Not really! NOTHING new. It was uninformative.

  291. tjaye Says:

I really feel sorry for Casey’s brother Lee (the only one of the family who seem to have a little bit of sense as well as the only one who is sincerely concerned about finding Caylee). Lee is just trying to be as patient and understanding as possible with getting the correct information from Casey. However, Casey can literally run a sain person CRAZY. She continues to give false leads to even her brother. She gave him a few names of some people/friends who she said could verify that the nanny does indeed exist….okay, why would STUPO/Casey give Lee names of people who would just give the same exact information (about this so called “nanny”) that everyone else have given ….including Casey’s parents: “yes, we have heard Casey mention the nanny, but we have never seen the nanny”. Wow, why would Casey say [YET AGAIN] something that can obviously be proven wrong. How does someone just tell OUT RIGHT lies like this girl. All the friends that the authorities have spoken to say that Casey has always [as long as they have known her] fabricated stories (or in other words, LIED) to everyone. You would think at some point, she would grow out of that (especially having a child). No one has ever seen this person who has been Caylee’s nanny for almost 2 years. If any of you have children, you know at some point and time, you will need to ask someone to pick that child up AT LEAST ONCE [within those 2 years] from the babysitter for you (mother, father, sister, brother, friend…etc) …Casey has never had to ask anyone….not EVEN her mom to run by and pick up Caylee…WITHIN 2 YEARS….. Come on….for real!

  292. Angela Says:

THIS JUST IN-FOX NEWS-”POLICE BELIEVE CASEY KNOWS MORE THAN WHAT SHE’S SAYING”

Oh, tell me they did not just waste an hour of our time to tell us that! I mean, what next…”POLICE SAY GRANDMOTHER IS OFF HER ROCKER”?????????????

Is it just me, or could the majority of the people on this board do a better job with this case? We knew Casey was witholding information….like….oh, I don’t know….2 WEEKS AGO!!!!!!!!!!!

WHAT A COMPLETE MORONIC WASTE OF TIME.

  293. Raquel Says:

the only new announcement made was in regards to the brown bags which were removed from the grandparents’ home earlier today. carlos padilla, OC sheriff’s office, indicated the evidence came from outside the house. i’m thinking it’s still being looked as a homicide case.

apparently, everyone is now cooperating with county officials except for casey. it’s unreal.

  294. Andrea Says:

It was on and not much was said except that the Anthony family is being cooperative and that the only person not being cooperative is Casey. DNA results on evidence hasn’t been received, won’t say what was taken from the home this morning, only that it pertained to the backyard. Hmmmmm, not much else that I can think of.

  295. KH Says:

The Anthony’s are a very odd bunch. I know when I was first putting my son in daycare, my mother insisted on going with me to check out the provider. I was 36 years old at the time. I thought it was a good idea, so she could give me her read on the provider. I guess that is why I find it so odd that Cindy over a year and a half never met the woman who was taking care of her granddaughter.

  296. Donna Says:

Well WTF, Thanks for the update. Maybe they’ll have some more evidence on the Nancy G. show.

  297. mylifeofcrime Says:

I, too, watched the press conference and nothing new came out at all. A waste of time really. I think the main reason for it was to state that the grandparents really are cooperating. He said that several times. But he did not give any results from the stain in the trunk or what evidence was brought out of the house today.

I won’t be able to watch Nancy Grace tonight, so I hope you guys do! Let me know what happens.

  298. Angela Says:

Yea, Nancy never lets us down! Come on…when will we get a murder charge or test results from the trunk? Please don’t waste our time with things we already know! Cindy must have paid them to have a conference saying she was “cooperating”. LOL…for all the good THAT does!

  299. Donna Says:

Angela, I agree. She probably put another 45,000 on her credit card to pay them off. All I know Is I better not have to see the “family friend” on again. she just gives the response to the same questions asked the day before.
And she flashes “breaking news” there better be some breaking news.

  300. Andrea Says:

What do you mean you won’t be able to watch Nancy Grace? You mean you have a life outside of this?? LOL

For those of you who missed the conference, here’s a nice description of today’s happenings?

Update – Local 6 TV Newsreport WKMG Orlando (best coverage on the case)

Following was covered in 4:00 pm News:

    1) George and Cindy had meeting with OCSO Investigators on the case at OCSO station

    2) George left OCSO station with two investigators in car and arrived at the Anthony home and gathered specific items that were of interest to the investigation

    3) Forensic unit took the two large bags of the items of interest — taken from the backyard in separate van; George returned to the OCSO station with the two investigators in the car

    4) Cindy remained at the OCSO station working with investigators

    5) George was interviewed in front of the home earlier after getting back from OCSO meeting; he related to the press sitting outside his home with so many questions; replying “take a walk in our shoes, live our life each hour and each day, it has been horrendous for us….”

    6) George and Cindy were briefly willing to talk only to ???’s while leaving their home enroute to the benefit to be held this eve saying to specific questions (of what was taken from the home today, what can they tell about what occurred today…) = Cindy replied “unable to answer any of those questions and they can’ answer those questions and they should be directed to OCSO”

    7) Cindy did specifically address a question “if they were cooperating fully with the OSCO investigators” and her reply was emphatically “Yes, we have been fully giving them information talking to them and offering and giving them whatever they felt they needed, we even offered items that they said they didn’t want — this is all about finding Caylee”

    8) OCSO spokesperson gave a brief newsreport to reporters (lots of them in front of the OCSO station) asking about what occurred today with the Anthony’s meeting as well as forensics taking items from the home; “he said they are doing everything they can on this case and in working with the Anthony’s and that Casey is the one who holds the key to this entire case — she’s the one who was last with the child — she is the key to where Caylee is and what has happened to her”.

    9) Local 6 Orlando News reporter said they have contacted Casey’s attorney and hope to have his comments on what has occurred today and regarding the case.

  301. morticiaaddams Says:

I have already tagged her for a Susan Smith….I would be shocked if that little girl is found and is OK . I still hope I m wrong

  302. Bobbie Says:

I just picked up the story of the missing two-year old Caylee Anthony. I read some of the stories and comments about this mystery. The family knows more than what their saying. If it was my granchild/child I would have called the police within the first hour of the child missing. If my daughter was involved I would have turned her in a heartbeat. Sounds like Susan Smith all over again.

  303. mylifeofcrime Says:

    Andrea,

I am so sorry – but yes, I do, but it is a sad existence sometimes! But today was shopping day so it was grand!

  304. Andrea Says:

Ahhhh, yes, shopping! I remember what that was like. Unfortunately, I’m agoraphobic and my shopping is all done online now. But shopping in any form is grand! :)

  305. Andrea Says:

This has been bugging me, just as a lot about this case has, and I’m looking for your thoughts and theories on this. We know that Casey took LE to an apartment where she claims she left Caylee with Zenaida Gonzalez. We know that this apartment not only didn’t belong to a Zenaida Gonzalez, but had been unoccupied for 4 months. However, there is a guestcard from a visitor (I think in April 2008) to this apartment complex named Zenaida Gonazalez. I don’t recall but did that Zenaida visit the complex or that exact apartment? It can’t just be a concidence, I don’t know how common the name Zenaida Gonzalez is but even if one were to say “Mary Smith” is my nanny….the chances are pretty slim that a Mary Smith would not have visited and signed a guestcard in the recent past. So what do you think? Do you think that this was a premediated thing and Casey was creating the nanny and an alibi, in a sense….do you think maybe she had access to those files of whom visited this place, maybe even knowing the manager?

Also, just heard that some of the things that investigators got yesterday were prints off of gas cans. Nancy Grace has been saying all along that the stolen gas cans, from the shed, reported by George was important. However, if the cans had been stolen, these prints must be coming off of new ones.

  306. Andrea Says:

Sorry, full of questions and thoughts.

Maybe the reason behind the “no new information” news conference yesterday and the repetitiveness of how the Anthony family are being fully cooperative was to make Casey think that her family has told them something more than she has. Trying to crack Casey. Yeah, ok, I know that’s a joke.

I’m reading doubts about Lee Anthony’s demeanor now due to comments he supposedly made at the benefit yestereday. Something to the effect of Casey doing what any mother could do….blah blah blah. BUT, I still think he’s the key to getting Casey to crack. Someone like Casey has to be handled with kidgloves and you’d have to make her believe that you think everything she says is true and that you have faith in her and that’s what he’s doing. Gaining more and more trust.

Wonder why prints on gas cans would be important? Is there evidence maybe that gas was used to get rid of evidence? YIKES! George reported gas cans stolen in June…and according to things I’m reading, he reported them and LE came to investigate (stolen gas cans are a priority and warrant a LE visit? )

I’m so discombobulated and consumed :(

  307. Angela Says:

Watching Nancy Grace…this girl lies as easy as she breathes. She has an answer for everything, and rattles it off with barely a breath in between. Her tone is so matter-of-fact, like she’s just talking sbout the weather. No questions about progress in the search. No concern about anything other than “Tony”.

Yea, Andrea…I’ll take my bib and shiny toys now.

  308. gatorsfan Says:

I have been watching this case for a while now. I myself am the grandmother of an almost 2 year old little girl, and if something like this were to have ever happened to her…I would be beside myself! I know that it’s not fair for me to pass judgement on someone that I do not know, however this grandmother just doesn’t seem truely concerned. I mean, it all seems like an act.

I myself just have that gut feeling that this little girl is not alive. I hope that I am proven wrong. I just can’t get over the whole situation. It just seems like the stories that are coming out of this young mother’s mouth go round and round…and end up no where.

Something else that I have noticed (not sure about anyone else) when she is talking to her brother I notice that they sometimes seem to speak “in code”. It’s like she will say something like “well I was at the park” and he will say “were you working or having fun” and then she follows up with “well I wasn’t working, but not there to have fun either” and he seems to know what she means. There have been serveral times that I have noticed this. I am just wondering if (and I know it sounds “Hollywood”) maybe she and her family are involved with drug dealers. Could the scent of “dead” body in the car have come from the body of a murdered person other then the little girl?? Maybe something went wrong and for her safety (someone) in the family sent the child away?

I was just thinking about this because if this were my child, grandchild, I would be doing WHATEVER I needed to. I would be offering my help in any way….going on TV to BEGGG for help finding her, not behaving the way this family is. Again, I’m not there to see what goes on all the time, I can only speak of what I see on TV.

On a side note……they should get a judge to order her to be injected with truth serium. Stop playing games with this woman and help find this child….dead or alive…find her!!!

  309. skeptic Says:

I only now got to see most of that Larry King clip the grandmother did from the other day, one thing that stuck out to me is that when confronted by the information about the dogs and also a doctor saying that pizza does not smell like remains, and about the tests on the car, that if they come back to show decomposition they know what happened– She jumped in and said “Well I was told that human sweat would also show up and test as being body fluid so…” The doctor corrected her right away. Fluid released from a decomposing body is completely different from normal body fluids and they can tell the difference. What horrifide my is that she would think there would be a sweat stain in the trunk! Excuse me?!

  310. Lani Says:

Hey, this is Lani without the E. Did any of you read the MySpace posts before they were all DELETED?? The one from the grandmother on July 4 about how her little angel was being kept from her? She knew Casey wasn’t on any mini vacation, she was intentionally being kept from seeing her. I don’t think the G.M. thought she was missing at that point, she just thought Casey was punishing her by keeping Caylee from her. The creepy part is what Casie wrote in response.
“On the worst of worst days, remember the words spoken
    Trust no one, only yourself.
With great power, comes great consequence.
What is given can be taken away.
    Everyone Lies.
    Everyone Dies.”

    Here’s where I read it.
    http://cayleeanthony.wordpress.com/2008/07/31/deleted-comments-from-cindy-casey-anthony-on-myspace/

    That family is C-R-A-Z-Y

  311. star Says:

From what i read today…Gramma seems to know what happen to Caylee…she says it’s all coming together now?
BUT she wont tell the police?!?!?

The mom needs to get it together and TELL what happen to Caylee and stop stalling.

  312. star Says:

As far as the nanny….how could Casey pay for a nanny when they keep sayin she was not working?
And how long will Casey get away with not saying what she did with Caylee?

Reminds me of the Madeleine Mccann case and that of poor lil Riley Ann.
    Sad, Sad, Sad!!

  313. Andrea Says:

Grandpop is lying too. A source is saying that the CSI removed two gas cans from the shed…the same ones that were reported missing by him to LE on or about June 24th. I did read an article that mentioned that George claimed the person responsible for the cans had come to him and admitted it and I’m assuming because they were available to CSI, were returned to him.

Now, the only person I’m holding out hope for to be helpful in this case is Lee. I pray that he’s not covering. I think when this is over, Cindy, George AND Casey will be charged. In my mind, they’ve gone from crazy to just plain evil.

  314. True Justice Says:

Since it is becoming more and more apparent that this child is dead and may or may not be found, it is time to start a new web site:

    HelpFindCaylee-HelpFryCasey.com

  315. Aspenstar Says:

Sadly, I believe that little Caylee is dead and that all of them, Casey and her parents, are in deeper than they know. I think Casey killed her (whether premeditated or not), got scared and her parents are helping her, starting out acting as if they didn’t know anything. How dumb do they think everyone is when cadaver dogs hit on a spot and Caylee’s hair is in the trunk. Is your kid’s hair in the trunk of your car that smells like decomposing body? I just wish the mother would own up and take responsibility. It’s apparent she was having a grand old time while CAYLEE was out of the picture. No missing child’s distraught mom would go out partying like this nasty woman has.

  316. Sam Says:

    Okay,

    1. Accidental death of Caylee (hot car probably)
    2. Casey gets scared and calls dad the retired cop.
    3. Dad shows up. Takes body and burns it, hides it or whatever else a retired cop knows how to do.
    4. Dad “stages” car.
    5. Dad and Casey don’t tell grand ma what happened until they come up with some kind of story like she gave the kid up for adoption or something.
    6. Grandma starts worrying about Caylee before grand dad and Casey come up with a good story.
    7. Grandma calls cops BUT Casey tells her what really happened.
    8. Grandma changes story at this time because her husband is involved. Imagine losing your husband, daughter and grand daughter all at once.
    9. NOW..the entire family, except brother, is conspiring to cover up the death of a little girl.
    10. Bottom line, no body no murder. They are leaking and or fabricating evidence that Caylee is alive. If the DNA is inconclusive then Casey will walk out of that jail next week. I must admit that this is a very tight family. They all seem to have an attitude of them against us no matter what.

I think that’s how it played out.

  317. Mindy Says:

Andrea, you’re one of the few commentors who think things out logically and carefully, and you clearly try not to be emotion-driven. I commend you for your thoughtfulness and enjoyable postings.

I don’t think the Zelda name has any import other than the fact that sociopaths tend to weave lies around tiny kernels of truth. The Zelda name is also a well-known website for moms. She may have had it in her memory because she–inexplicably, briefly gripped by motherhood leanings opposed to her nature–surfed the site.

I don’t like Cindy Anthony, but I think she is innocent of hurting Caylee or doing anything to harm Caylee. What she is guilty of is denial, and loving her daughter and wanting to protect her. She has a MySpace page where she talks about (prior to this tragedy) Casey lying to her, stealing from her, “breaking her heart.” She has had a very troubled past with her daughter that she is trying to hide–but her words can’t be buried. (Check out websleuths.net for more info on this case, including some fascinating police files).

She (Cindy) is not easy to warm to, to say the least. I think she needs to stay away from the cameras and microphones and keep her mouth crammed shut. She is not making the family appear sympathetic. Her need for her “fifteen minutes” isn’t pretty. She may not be likable, but she’s not a sociopath.

Whoever mentioned Susan Smith–I agree with that comparison–may be more right than wrong. That poor child is dead. The longer her mother remains in jail and pressure is kept on, the more likely she will begin talking. It’s a time game the police will win. It’s too late to save Caylee, but I am confident justice will be served. She’s in a good State for that.

  318. J. Blair Says:

Knowing all that they knew about Casey, I don’t see how the grandparents ever entrusted her with a toddler. Not for one minute. I also read that Cindy had encouraged Casey to move out and find her own place – with Caylee. What???
I would have told Casey to move out, but Caylee was not going anywhere!! To “mothers” like Casey (useless specimen), children and babies are nothing more than bartering tools to use against people to get their way…..
So, Casey, since you killed Caylee to get back at your mom and hurt her for asking you to act like a responsible adult, how will you blackmail the next person – you don’t have any more babies that you can kill. I would also like to know where she was leaving Caylee on those Friday nights she spent at that club. Part of me says she was locking her in the trunk, and the other part of me says she was leaving her with the ex-boyfriend “Ricardo” something, who was then living with Amy, a friend of hers, across from the building where “Zenaida” supposedly lived. Lying usually goes along with drug addiction, and schizo disorders. I know someone who has also never told the truth, has had constant drug addictions, stole from family, and is diagnosed as schizophrenic. They can be dangerous people.I would’nt want them spending the night at my house, or spending any time alone with a toddler, etc…that’s what freaks me out the most about Cindy/George, is that they entrusted the care of this fragile innocent being with that “thang”.

  319. Ashley Says:

Here is a list that I find odd in this whole situation:
    1. The mother doesn’t report the supposed kidnapping for 5 weeks.
    2. The mother says the babysitter took her, but there is no record of this babysitter anywhere.
    3. She says the contact information is on her phones. She uses 2 phones and one keeps dying, so she takes the sim card out and puts it in the other phone to use, but mysteriously the phone has disappeared (actually both).
    4. She shows no sympathy for her daughters disappearance. She says she is trying to be strong and crying isn’t going to help. She was also spotted partying days after repoting the disappearance.
    3. She asked for a shovel days before the disappearance.
    4. In mid July the grandparents create a concrete slab in the backyard (yeah..during this whole thing – sorry but if my grandchild was missing the last thing I would worry about is a damn concrete slab.
    5. Then the stench of a decaying body in her moms car which she says was rotten pizza, but cadaver dogs say otherwise as well as police investigators.
    6. Grandmother believes caylee is heading to Georgia and up toward the mountains. (how would she know that?)
    7. Mother says she does not have a bad fealing and that caylee is okay.

Pretty damn suspicious and why arent they checking the damn concrete slab in backyard…..come on.

  320. Sam Says:

    J. Blair,

You are absolutely correct! What kind of grand ma goes weeks without seeing her grand child?

What kind of grand mother KNOWS that her child is using drugs but does nothing to take the grandchild away?

What kind of grand mother calls the cops on her own child. Let alone contemplate what Child Support Services would do once they found out? Grand parents usually call the cops when their own life is being threatened. Even then its a hard pill to swallow to make that phone call.

No wonder Casey is as screwed up as she is. She has been denied any semblance of love and devotion from her own mother.

    This smells of something foul.

  321. Sam Says:

    Ash,

A lot of interesting things that make you wonder.

Yet I’m perplexed how calm Casey is. How can someone be that cold and heartless when it comes to their own child?

I consider myself to be a very good judge of character. Not knowing Casey I can tell certain things about her. She isn’t that stable to hold out this long. A person like that would have to be devoid of any emotion whatsoever. Throw in the fact that she is the mother of the child that is missing. It just seems odd to me that she hasn’t broke under the pressure yet.

No mother can be this self serving when it comes to their own child. Even Susan Smith broke down eventually.

Not one recent case involving mothers killing their kids has went unsolved. Why you make ask? Because the mother broke down and confessed.

No person is that cold when it comes to their own kid. Unless they know for a fact that they are alive. She sold that kid for drugs or something.

  322. kay Says:

ok now i have a really foolish question i guess,
if george anthony’s gas can were STOLEN then why did he make this statement to the press yesterday

My gas cans were stolen,” he said. “They just wanted to come in and line everything up. They’re doing a thorough investigation. I said, ‘You guys do what you need to do. Take the shingles off my roof to bring my granddaughter back.’”
if they were stolen how did they get back into the shed….stolen means someone took them………or did they take them and then bring them back? looks like they would have had to bring them back if CSI took them friday morning. how did they get back into the shed after being stolen earlier?

  323. Andrea Says:

There was an article that I read that stated that George knew who took his cans, that he reported stolen on 6/24 and that the person (who remained nameless) came forth about it and so we can only assume that he got them back. Strange happenings…wonder if they were reported stolen as part of a “building of an alibi”.

Mindy – Thank you, although I beg to differ on my being logical, I’ve had some real nifty, “stretch of the mind” theories. As morbid as this sounds, following crimes and creating theories has been my passion since, can you believe it? Age 9 or 10. I’m now 40! I blame reading Helter Skelter at a young age. LOL

  324. chris Says:

none of this makes sense… she is a liar and belongs in jail.
she does not deserve to have a daughter…. she’s not a mother!

  325. Andrea Says:

AND…why isn’t George more angry that he asks Casey where his beloved granddaughter is and it’s OK that she just says “She’s close”? He shrugs his shoulders, rolls them back, raises his eyebrows, throws his hands out and winces in this anticipatory way to the media as if that’s OK. I want to know what kind of police officer he used to be. I realize this is his daughter, but give up the kidgloves….she’s a liar and most likely a murderer and even at this point, if it turns out that it was accidental…it should still be considered murder because any mother who would go to this extreme to cover up an “accident” is probably capable of such. I know, not a real legal viewpoint but it just pisses me off that this case has been allowed to go this far. It’s a circus…and they want to blame the media? The only people they are kidding are themselves and again, I reiterate, throw the grandparents in the jail cell next to Casey and let them all rot away. Another thing….if “she’s close”…why not form your own search parties and get to looking for her. There are plenty of people who would turn out for a volunteer search. Make a grid and get out there….”she’s close….I can feel it”

  326. kay Says:

i just heard that she that grandma said casey is tell ing us what apts she at but the exact apt. if that ws my grandchild i would be over there knocking door to door till someone called the law to me for harrassment. i think she is buried around those apts maybe and her telling them this and them BELIEVING HER is un real. if that was my daughter i’d be snatched her thru that plexi glass wall and beat it out of her……i could not handle it………i’d have to know and i know that i would go violent on her the next time she told me she’s close…i’d have to choke it out of her

  327. Debbie Says:

i think if the family stopped coddeling this young mother, perhaps Casey would come clean with the truth once and for all. I’ve never seen such a bunch of enablers in my life!! Casey is most definitely guilty of something and that precious little girl is missing….and unfortunately, it doesn’t look as though she is even alive…yet the family of Casey sit around and tip toe around the mother like she is some delicate flower!!! give me a break already…Casey needs to once and for all speak something truthful and the family could encourage that if they would stop coddleing her and telling her, “we are on your side”, we believe your cockamamie story…PALLLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and Cindy, the grandmother needs a serious attitude adjustment. we, all of America, are more concerned with her grand daughters well-being than she is, what does that tell you about this family??? Cindy keeps telling the news “I haven’t slept in days”, “I’m so tired, please bear with me, I haven’t slept since all this started”…SHUT UP , CINDY. this isn’t about YOU!!! this is about CAYLEE, remember her? My thoughts are with HER and not YOU, so I don’t care to hear about your lack of sleep. ok?

  328. worried Says:

The grandmother obviously has her own set of issues and its no wonder that the apple (casey) didn’t fall far from that tree. You can’t expect your children to grow up to be responsible adults if you spend your life making excuses for their poor choices. Caylee didn’t have a prayer. The only one I have is that they find her some day so that Casey can pay for what she did. Until then, I’m awaiting the DNA evidence results and the excuses grandma and grandpa come up with when they are released.

  329. Neon Says:

My fault, I know, but my whole weekend was consumed watching the news, reading blogs and hoping and praying for a break in the case. It is so frustrating and I’ve had it up to “here” with Casey and her uncaring attitude. She’s wallowing in the attention. Maybe something she always wanted, but couldn’t get enough of. I’m growing tired of waiting for the truth to come out, and I noticed the media coverage is getting less and less. I ‘m sure that’s what they want, is for the public and the media to grow tired of this and just get on with our lives. Then she gets out with no charges and life goes on. And no Caylee. What is taking so long to release the results of the DNA tests? I know they know much more than they’re telling us, and they’re stalling for a reason (the police) but the suspense is killing me! Caylee deserves to be found! Now! I can’t go on and pretend that this is over. I won’t stop watching until Caylee is found. But, I refuse to listen to Casey, or GM & GP anymore. I can’t stand liars. They make my stomach turn. My heart goes out to the friends and family of Caylee. I am usually optimistic, but this sounds very grim. Please Casey….Tell us where we can find Caylee…The truth this time…..

  330. Michelle Says:

There are a fews things I can’t seem to get out my mind
    1. In the father’s Obit., a child is never mentioned as being a savivor. If he was the bio dad, she would still be mentioned no matter what. Right?
    2. Have you guys ever notice the Caylee’s name spelling? Why is it spelled like Casey and Lee together. Not like her “bio” dad’s(or is it) He’s the only one who is stricken with “grief” and out searching. Not showing up on every news channel…
    3. George is never in the picture…. do you think he knows how demented his wife and daughter are. If he was a cop, wouldn’t Casey have a little more disipline?
    4. Why did she say that Zaniada is not only from Florida… is she trying to tell us something?

I can honestly say, 2 minutes would not be long enough for me to be lock in a room with this woman. How does she still have the right to phone privalges… she should not be having “rec” time, phone, tv, or any other privilages!!!! Nor should any other murderer!!!! This is what’s wrong with our culture of today. They all know no matter what, they willl have “3 hots and a cot”. they should have to grow thier own food and “chain gang” it. Sorry a different time maybe!!! Back to Caylee, if by some grace of God she did not MURDER this precious gift; (in my opinion, she did…the tot took away from “Her Life”) She sold her for a little dope or booze money and is long gone from this country.

  331. kay Says:

you know i have read so much stuff. i am like all of you..i have spent hours and hours watching every pc of newsreels i can find and every blog i could find and this is a blog that i have not idea where i read it (i’ve read so much) this one keeps coming back to me.
you know this is is about as stupid as casey is. i think she is telling him what to do…..anyway somewhere i read that there was a zanida living in kissemee fl and that this attorney lives like 2 miles from that zanida.
casey is so un concerned about tis mess i just wonder if this could be a ploy to possibly build this attorney up. i know that is really far fetched but people do scams like that every day and even susan smith cried when she killed her kids..i think the family is footing the bills for the attorney and he sure did appear fast on site to defend her…
i just can’t believe that she is so un-concerned about her child…..ar at least put on a good act that your hurting about it…and worried like the rest of the world is…..my god…..she’s close by and safe….that is her gut feeling???? because she is a mom she has this special closeness and can tell if something was wrong…from the reports i hear she was not that close with her, grandma was after all she was the one that is so concerned in the beginning. now i would just like to slap her good…..i fully understand the thing about a mother knowing when her child needs them without having to say a word but that is when a mother and child really love each other…she does not love this child or she would be out there tearing down doors trying to find her…………..

  332. kay Says:

Michelle, i have read a couple of articles on caylee’s dad. one article said that he has never even see caylee. that was what crazy granny said on one of the talk shows she was making a “cameo” on last week. and the other article i read said that cayce told tony tht caylee’s fatehr was killed in a car accident on the way to her 1st birthday party. that questions was asked to crazy granny and that is when she said that he had never seen her at all. still it looks like his parents would come forth and say look this is suspose to be my granddaughter i want to know something……..of course all they would get would be lies i’m sure….i think the spot light is what momma cayce is LOOKING FOR…..not little caylee

  333. Michelle Says:

HAS ANYONE HEARD ANY NEW NEWS??????

  334. Michelle Says:

    KAY,

I agree about the CRAZY granny…lmao. But who knows if she was telling the truth about who the father was. like i said… nothing in the obit. and her name…. i love my brother very much but maybe it’s just me, i would name my child after parents, grandparents, or nothing at all… atleast if he was alive.

  335. kay Says:

not been a whole lot out there today for some reason. there was a flurry when the anthonys went to the sheriff office to meet again today and then a spoksman for the sheriff deot ahd a news conference and he really did not say anything that has not been said over and over and over
cayce has 2 visitors on her list this week. he mom tomorrow and and he brother lee on thursday..that is about it. they say that by the end of the week there there shold be lots of answers to all the questions. i guess that is when the reports will be back from the dna on the car. they did say that they would not release the results to the public they would just changed the charges that cayce is charged with “IF”warranted………….that was about it

  336. Donna Says:

WHere are these test results!!!! I had to take the weekend off…I’m getting to angry. I see no new info!!!! Who’s in charge of this case Mr.Magoo!!!! I say shine them bright lights in crazy’s face and beat the shit out of her. They should have differnt rules for missing children…(Anything goes). No atterny no food NO MERCY!!!!! This is making me sicker than eating 15 day old hot out of the trunk PIZZA.

  337. Michelle Says:

AMEN Donna!!!…It seems to me that there has been nothing new since People Mag. put the article out Thursday..

  338. Donna Says:

Don’t I know it Michelle, And I bet when I turn on Nancy G. it will still be the same old shit. I say some of us from this site start our own Investigation! I wish I still flew for free.
And if we did start are own…we wouldnt have any rules! here comes the anger again.

  339. Michelle Says:

Donna, I have a 2yr old who likes to hide in the middle of the racks at Wal Mart and i know she does this and i still panic…. how could she not have a care in the world… I DO NOT BELIEVE this was an accident… if it were, she would have SOME KIND of remorse!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  340. Donna Says:

I agree, I too have a 2 year old. I try not to take him out. When my oldest was two she hid in a rack at the childrens store and I flipped OUT!!!! I made securtiy lock the doors until I found her. She was in a rack and finally answered me. Sure I looked like an a-hole but, I didnt care. Where are this bitches tears! Even Susan Smith cried. I really think she has a mental disorder I just wish her parents got her diagnosed as a child so they could have kept better care of her or at least Caylee.

  341. Donna Says:

Angela, where the hell are you? did you take a break too? LOL… Start writing you always make me giggle.

  342. Michelle Says:

i know it’s sad to say, i am from the same state as Susan Smith… NO I DO NOT KNOW HER…..(not the same town… 2 hours away) i remeber the helicopters flying overhead. from my gathering… her boyfriend had given her a “dear Jane” letter because he was not ready for a family. that bitch was nuts!!!!! she got email in prison… until she got soooo many hate mails that she closed her account. you can see this on “the smoking gun.com”… the whole state was in morning for these boys… it was said that the oldest’s hads were on the window. to me there is NOTHING more innocent than a child… the government should go to public executions and child molester, muderers,…ect. would soon see the people are not playing anymore. or better yet, an”eye for an eye”

  343. Donna Says:

I’m all for it. Throw in some stoning too! I’m from philly its a great place if you like murder!!! I think they should let the family and family freinds take care of the killer. Accept in this case, then it should be anyone who show’s up.

  344. Kate2 Says:

Has anyone asked Casey to take a lie detector test? Or, if she wants to prove herself innocent, has she DEMANDED to be tested??? Oh, wait…the machine would probably start smoking and explode from BS overload…I know it’s not admissible in court but if I were totally innocent I would offer to take one.

I think she is relishing her new found fame and when the media gets tired of the same fairy tales every day, when she has to sit in jail alone with no one displaying any interest in her whatsoever, she may get bored and admit the truth just to stir things up again. I just hope they keep her in jail until that happens…and beyond.

  345. Donna Says:

I think the whole family should take a lie detector test. Then when it blows up it gets them all. Except Lee….(for now). So far he’s the only one not on my nerves.

  346. melissa Says:

i think its funny how my comments are being deleted?? Ya something is going on…with the PD HUH????

    note from blog owner

    Melissa,

If your comments are being deleted, it is ME, no one else. I have checked the moderation folder and the spam folder, also the moderated and blacklist and do not see you or your IP on it. If I have deleted your comments, they were in all CAPS or violated my comment policy in some way.

  347. Neon Says:

Just now on Nancy Grace…The Grandpa said he smelled the smell of decomposition in the car and passed it off as rotting pizza and a bottle of cleaner left in the car for weeks. Then he said that maybe she ran over something. Give me a —— Break!!!! They also said that Caylee will be at her 3rd birthday party on Friday??????????????????????? Per Casey…Unbelievable…..

  348. Donna Says:

ok, I just heard the Lee speak on Nancy G. (rerun).. I can’t stand him either! Sorry Lee I was rooting for you to be the sane one…Oh well.

  349. Angela Says:

Hi Donna! Sorry, I was busy playing with my shiny toys. Not really, I’m away on my anniversary trip before the baby comes in a few weeks. Wanted to take a break to see what’s goin’ on in this case….I see a whole lotta nothin’! I really have nothing funny to say at this point. I think we are all mad and want Caylee’s body to be found before this nightmare is let out of jail! Unfortunately, we know how that would end up. Casey would blame her death on the “kidnappers” and set up her defense. There is no getting off this merry-go-round.

I’ll be on here again when I get back home…have fun sleuthing!

  350. Lisa Says:

Has anyone else noticed that the grandmother looks EVIL? Just plain mean or something…she doesn’t look friendly at all.

  351. cathy Says:

I think this mother should be put in the hole, and not able to come out till she tells police what they need to know. And sam on Grandma and Grandpa too. They are not helping at all. They know more then what they say.

  352. Sam Says:

    Grandmother – Cindy
    Daughter – Casie
    Granddaughter – Caylee

Seems to be a some kind of bond past down from Grandmother to Granddaughter.

I just can’t get it out of my mind how a mother can be this cold and emotionless about their own kid. No mother is that evil unless the little girl is in fact alive. Mother and child is instinctive and a natural bond.

I’m not a mother but I am a father. I wouldn’t be able to sleep without seeing my little baby’s face staring back at me. I would confess or kill myself probably.

  353. kay Says:

well, did you see those trash photos on NG last night???
i jsut can’t eblieve it. and telling her father that caylee would be home for her birthday this weekend….that is just plain cruel now….she has passed the crazy field and it now just being cruel to her family
angela your so so rigt.that will be the next step in this..the kidnappers did it because they are going to find her little body and that is what this whole pretense has led up…she will get away scott free because the kidnappers did this because her mom went to the police and was told not to….that is why she did not go to the police when they first took her blah blah blah…we all know that she did something to that baby………..and you know what i think her parents do to and especially granny..i think deep down she knows that she did something to that baby that is why she was so hysterical in the call to the police. and now she is ashamed of her actions and her daughters actions and so she keeps playing it out in the press. Lord knows that the daughter is not ashamed of her actions AT ALL…..i think it is possible that mama cindy is seeing just what a trashy person her daughter really is. probably has never hit her in the face like this has all over the press and now the world see’s what she is..have you notice your seeing less and less of cindy mama and more more and of george daddy?

  354. Albina Says:

    Update 8/5/08 – Unbelievable!!!!!!

Attorney: Immunity for Caylee’s mom discussed

    http://www.floridatoday.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080805/BREAKINGNEWS/80802010/1006/NEWS01

  355. Andrea Says:

Now, let’s say, for hypothetical sense, that Caylee really is ok. Despite the smell, stain, hair and cadaver dog alerts, we’ll believe that none of that is true. Let’s say that Caylee really is with a kidnapper or blackmailer or Casey just gave the baby to someone, for whatever reason. What has changed in this case that would allow Caylee to come to her birthday party? If it’s a kidnapper or blackmailer…Casey hasn’t done anything and couldn’t do anything to pay them, while sitting in jail. If she just gave the baby away, do you really think the people who have her would just show up to a birthday party on a whim? Or maybe Caylee will be let off a block or two away and just wander her way to the party? Lies, lies, lies. Her stories are just a part of the web she’s weaving and like someone else said, will be the ultimate end to this. That the people she gave Caylee to, must have killed her!

Unfreakin’ believable. Caylee is still close, ok, alive and coming to her birthday on Saturday. Sadly, if I felt that Casey was delusional, I might have just a tiny bit of sympathy for her….however, she is not delusional, this is all a part of the game for her. She continually claims these things about Caylee and either she’s being very cruel to the grandparents by allowing them to have a little bit of hope, when she knows doggone well that Caylee is dead or the grandparents are in on it.

  356. Sam Says:

Will this be a new legal defense if you kill your child?

The “she’s with a babysitter” defense? Or the “she’s close” defense?

Absent of physical evidence of a murder this girl (Casey) could walk right out of jail claiming someone has the child.

I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS LITTLE GIRL!!!!

  357. kay Says:

i also heard on news report that tomorrow the courts have to fish or cut bait basically. reporter said that after 17 days in jail (wed) that the defendant is entiled to another hearing where the courts has to tell the defendant what evidence they have against them in order to hold them in jail the full 31 days. that will be very interesting to hear the evidence. then she will do a plea bargin i bet….ok here’s the truck if you elt me out or give me a reduced sentance or something in that nature

  358. kay Says:

check this out. new report that lee anthony and george anthony have an add on the my space pages looking for an assistant………also asking for volunteers to manthe tnt they have st up at the local publix to ahnd out flyers and answers any tips that may come forth to them at that locations……
looks like they know what is ahead of them…………….

  359. Shauncey Says:

It’s all bullshit, and I am just APPALLED that this whore has the nerve to ask for immunity. Bullshit, from the “cop” grandfather who all of a sudden doesn’t know what a dead body “smells” like, to the deranged looking grandma who had the gall to look the TV camera man in the eye and state, “Find my grandchild”, to the stressed out brother Lee, who any second sounds like he’s goinna have a nervous breakdown, to that little whorish skank in the clink who’s lying thru her damn teeth. I have never seen anything quite like this. Cop grandpa goes to ask the bitch where Caylee is, and the answer he gets is “close”. They’d still be surgically removing that bitch’s head from the jailhouse bars if it were MY grandchild missing and my DAUGHTER wanted to play these games. And all this time, still NO Caylee. Unbelieveable!! Casey states, “Caylee will be at her birthday party this Saturday”. This whore is truly insane!!

  360. Lavonna Says:

You go girlfriend!!!!!! I can always count on you for telling what your thinking… You are so funny

  361. kay Says:

i just can’t believe that she keeps playing this game with her parents. we all know that hse is crazy but somewhere in her pea brain there has got to me a little bird saying…stop hurting your family this way..tell them truth…tell them what you did to that baby ans where you left the body….so they can stop hurting………..
i’d kill her if she was my daughter. i would make one trip to see her in jail to tll her that i would not be back to see her or talk to her until that baby was found alive or dead and if she knew anything she had better be coming clean because i was through with her until she was found..one way or the other. obsivously it is gonna be the worse case scenerio and we all know that. what person in the right mind would still hold on to that child with all this going on???i’d be too afraid to play the game knowing that i was going to jail…Shaunacey, your ar oh so right girl……..

  362. kay Says:

and another thing. at first they were releasing all the video tapes of her visits and her phone calls. and since the hearing last week they have stopped that…..why? i want to know what is being said between her and her parents….i want to see the expressions on her face when she is lying to them………..over and over…..she got just exactly what she wanted for them NOT to be made public…….

  363. kay Says:

check this out. just released by wesh tv in orlando

Formal charges are expected to filed against the mother of missing toddler Caylee Anthony by the State Attorney’s Office on Tuesday.

Casey Antony will likely be charges with one felony and one misdemeanor charge, and the child neglect charge she was originally booked on is explected to be to included, WESH 2 News reported.

She was arrested on July 16 and is being held on charges of child neglect with a $500,000 bond.

  364. OH Maven Says:

Without a body, the only thing that the cops have on “Crazy” is circumstantial evidence. The reason they can temporarily hold her is because of child endangerment, obstruction of justice and grand theft.

I have a sister who is a pathological liar and believe me living with such a person is constant hell. I believe that Cindy and George knew that Casey’s stories didn’t add up, but it probably became too exhausting for them to prove otherwise.

I think that Grandma Cindy finally woke up when her car was recovered and Crazy came home. She was obviously distressed and sought out guidance from the Police Dept. with her 9-11 calls that resulted in Crazy getting arrested.

If the Grandparents were in on Crazy’s homicide, they wouldn’t have called in the authorities, but perputrated Crazy’s story about being carjacked, money being stolen from grandma’s account and Caylee coming up missing. ATM robberies with women and small children have been common in FL, during the past year.

I believe that Casey intentionally killed Caylee or by neglect. She went on a wild spending and partying spree and came home after she exhausted all other choices.

I’d scan Crazy’s brain because an MRI could show if she is
mentally ill or a pathological liar. Either way it would demonstrate that questioning her is futile. I’d trace Crazy’s prior activities through her credit card and ATM transactions. That would let authorities know what locations she was close to. Then, I send out dogs to all those locations within a 5-10 mile radius. I bet the FBI have already detailed her activities in a chronological time-line.

Pray that Caylee’s blood will cry out from the ground to God, like Abel’s did, after Cain killed him (Genesis 4:1) and that she’ll be found. I prayed this for Lacey Petterson and Baby Connor…..and they were found.

  365. OH Maven Says:

Genesis 4:10 for reference of Abel’s blood crying out to God.

  366. kay Says:

i still think she is buried close to her bio father. like the psyic said. within a few miles of him. that is why she can say she’s close by and being taken care of and then she told he jail friend that he ex boyfriend had her. i think he does. she is in heaven with him being taken care of and she’ll always be as close as the heart…..no matter what as long as you love her she’ll always be close……..and i think ithis is how crazy is thinking when she is giving these answers.

  367. Neon Says:

They keep talking about Casey asking for immunity. Immunity from what? If she has nothing to hide, why immunity? Why not just tell us where Caylee Is? We already know why. I think she’ll tell them where she is on Caylee’s birthday. Maybe that’s what she means by saying, “Caylee will be home for her birthday.” I also saw that Grandma Cindy missed (didn’t show up) her visitation with her daughter Casey which was suppose to be at 1:00 today. Does she know something we don’t and doesn’t want to see her daughter? And just now on the news they said they had breaking new information on the case coming up that could be very damning for the mother of Caylee. Heard that before. But I’ll watch and see…Happening now on Fox news….

  368. Neon Says:

Nothing. Now they’re saying that Cindy is on her way to the jail. Even tho the reporter said that if you miss the scheduled time, the door is locked and you lose your visitation. Something going on…..Let’s pray something will break soon for Caylee’s sake…Hang in there little one. We’re all hoping you’re found soon……God Bless little Caylee….

  369. Sandi Says:

I would have liked to have been a fly on the wall when Casey first got home and her and her mom were talking. Something more promted the panicked call to the police and the comment that her car smelled like a dead body. I sure hope an pray that they find this precious child alive and well. I am a grandmother and find it disturbing that the daughter’s suspicious behavior didn’t send up red flags before they did and my child doesn’t even live with me. If they have both lived with the grandparents forever how come the mother or father never knew the name of the so called babysiter? I find that odd.
I think the child may have died accidentally and then she tried to cover it up and then continued her lies. This is all so weird. If I were Casey’s mom I would be in there yelling at her and I sure as heck wouldn’t have hired an attorney for myself if I was innocent! Did it occur to anyone else that the grandfather is a retired homicide detective? I can’t wait to see what the DNA tests say.

  370. Melissa Says:

What exactly does “the child died accidentally” mean? I keep reading that statement from people and I think it’s complete bullshit. An accident would be falling off a chair and hitting her head or something like that…anything else is not an accident. Even if Casey hit Caylee in anger and caused her to die, though maybe not intentional, it would be no accident.

  371. Sandi Says:

    Melissa,
When I said accidentally I was thinking maybe she had left her in the car when she was partying or something. Do I think this is acceptable? NO! But that’s what I was thinking.
At least this wacko now has been charged! Thank God!

  372. kay Says:

ok what ar ethe charges…i cant find anything about it…..other than the possibility that they will charge her……..
did they fianlly charge her with murder?

  373. Melissa Says:

I didn’t mean to come off like I was yelling at you…sorry if it appeared that way. When was she charged? I haven’t seen anything.

  374. kay Says:

i finally got a news report. she was charged with filing a false report (she’ll get off of that because he mom filed it she did not file it herself) then of course if they do find a body they can get her with that charge because she said that she was kidnapped.and child endangerment for not reporting that she had been taken….she is gonna walk on this i see it now. she is planning a defense that who ever kidnapped her must have killed her….and of course it’s gonna be that they took the car with her at first and then they came back and got her and caylee was not int he car . that is how her dns is gonna be in the car , and she is gona walkwith it….she was KIDNAPPED….and she covered her steps very well so that she could not be charged with murder..they said that her attorney had subpoened her myspace and her myface records. what is that gonna show…that she posted something to the kidnappers on there…you can post anything on there that does not make it the truth………

  375. OH Maven Says:

The details of this story’s time-line are somewhat confusing.
I have listened to all 3 of the 9-11 tapes and most of Grandma Cindy’s interviews. This is what I can piece together:

June 9, 2008 Cassey & Caylee leave Grandparents house
July 4, 2008 Grandma is worried and writes down her pain on her My Space Account says things about her daughter’s jealousy; stealing; lying and enduring great pain.

July 9, 2008 Grandma calls a friend of Cassey’s by the name of Amy who knows where Cassey is. They go and pick up Cassey who tells Grandma that Caylee is with the babysiter, but it is too late in the evening to pick her up.

Grandma becomes suspicious after Cassey tells her that Caylee is missing and that she has been looking for her for 31 days. Grandma freaks and call 9-11. Soonafter, Cassey’s car is found and Grandma must have went looking in it and said it smelled like a “dead body”. She reported this to the 9-11 operator.

Cassey also told her brother Lee in a phone conversation that “her gut feeling is that Caylee is close to home.”

I think that statement might be key to where she is burried. I don’t think she’d bury her in her parents back yard, but in a remote area that she is familiar with. Hopefully the dirt on the shovel (if it hadn’t been washed off) will give some clues where it came from……

  376. kay Says:

in one of the interevews that i read amy had let cayce borrow her car for a week. she needed a ride to tha irport so she got casey to tke her to the airport and let her keep her car that week and casey picked her up at the airport just a day or so befor all this happened with the police. that is how amy new where she cayce was. the car was let by casey ina a parking lot of a check cashing store. she called her boyfriend tony and he came and got her and she told him not toworry about the car that her dad was going to take care of getting it home. she told him that it was broke. she left her purse and everythig in it. sittin on the fron seat. they anthony’s found out about it after it was impounded and they got a certified letter in the mail that it had been impounded since it was in their name. i think she ws going to tell that the car was car jacked with the baby in there that is why she left her purse in there but mom was on her too fast for her to make it look right

  377. T Says:

Sorry, just stumbled upon this blog and read the last few….I believe there is alot that we (the media and the public) do not know. As a mother, if my child was missing, I would be hysterical ALL THE TIME. My parents would be too. Something has GOT to give and when it does I just pray that baby is still alive and we all should too…..

  378. OH Maven Says:

I’d be checking Amy’s car trunk for evidence. I bet Casey went to the neighbors, borrowed their shovel and burried
    Caylee somewhere.

I wonder if Casey came home on July 9th until her arrest on July 14th? Maybe it took that long for her car to be brought back, Cindy’s bank statements to be sent and Cindy’s car to be found. Has anyone heard when Cindy’s car came up missing? She said on the 9-11 tape, that she just got it back from the impound lot that day…..which was 7/14???? Or was that Casey’s Sunbird that was registered in her parent’s names????

  379. Shauncey Says:

Leaving a child in a car to go party is NOT an accident. It’s called stupidity.

  380. Shauncey Says:

    Kay,
Your right. This whore went to the limit to try and cover her tracks. But to say she’s gonna walk, I don’t think so. And if she does, I pray someone does to her what I believe in my heart she did to Caylee.

  381. kay Says:

it was the parents car, this car has was george’s and then lee’s and now cayce’s. look like when they imponded it they would have thought about the smell too if it was that bad.

  382. kay Says:

i just know that in my heart that cayce will do something about this on saturday the baby’s birthday to take the spotlight off it being her birthday and put it back on her. it’ll be something like trying to commit suicide or something like that tht will put her back in the spotlight and really quick…i’ve seen that she wants to be center of attention and that day will be a specticular day to pull some antics…

  383. Donna Says:

I think the cops should check out Universal… I can’t shake why she would tell them she worked there other than if someone says they saw her there the cops would think so what she works there…. I think she might have burried her there. Plus the statement made to Lee…regarding her phone. I was at universal but not for work….no shit assface you don’t work there! What did that even mean? I wanna punch that bitch until one of us falls asleep.

Shauncey: I agree she is a whore.

I can’t stand anyone in this family. I want to slap them all.

  384. Donna Says:

another thought….Cindy or George or Lee for that matter..did any of you ever hear Caylee herself speak of Zanieda???? As much times as she supposedly spent with her she sure as hell would have mentioned her. My child always did even to my parents.

  385. kay Says:

this is what was release by mommie when she did not go to see baby cayce this morning
Cindy Anthony said she skipped the meeting with her daughter at the jail because she is tired of her conversations being released to the public.

“It was a very difficult decision for me not to see Casey. I think it’s in Caylee’s best interest. I wanted to go there and support her, but those conversations are recorded and can be released as public record, so I just couldn’t,” she said.

i just don’t understand why she would even want to go.
she did not go because she did not want the public to hear her precious daughter ridiculing her…
i’d slap her so hard it would knock her into next week if she was my daughter with that smirky smile she has… you remember when that nerd showed up from her high school that she did not know? her first visit in jail did you see that smile on her face when she went to hang up the phone. that was so disgusting to me. and bless her little heart…this little fellow thought this is my way to get to her now…no one else will be there for her….she’ll suck him up and use him up befor this is over i’m sure.

  386. mylifeofcrime Says:

    Donna,

That is a great point! Every child talks about their babysitter. And wouldn’t grandma and grandpa ask????

  387. Donna Says:

I know, I can’t get my kids to shut up about their day. So ya know she would have talked about it. And she lived with the grandparents so you know they would have asked her what she did that day. I’m really at a lose with this family. I get wanting to stick up for your child but, come on if my child hurt my grandchiled I would have found out the truth. I couldn’t sit by and listen to lie after lie I’m sure I would have snapped on my child by now.

  388. True Justice Says:

    News Flash . . .

    This is the link http://www.dc.state.fl.us/facilities/region3/314.html
to the new location in which Casey Anthony will soon be moved to.

Also, if you would like to take a virtual tour of her living quarters, click here http://www.dc.state.fl.us/oth/vtour/deathrow.html

    Looks pretty nice . . .

Casey will not be lonely. There is one other female on death row.

  389. OH Maven Says:

This case sure has alot of <>. On one hand,
Grandma Cindy says that her house was made child-safe and that no one but she and her husband George had keys to the shed, yet she hasn’t ever met the “Nanny” or remembers ever seeing a paycheck of Casey’s??? If you are that controlling over stuff in the shed, wouldn’t they know everything there was to know about Caylee’s care givers???? The word “Nanny” implies someone who is a live-in or comes to your house to watch your child.

Cindy is a nurse and probably wouldn’t allow anyone but the family to watch Caylee. When Casey was supposedly working, she probably was watching Caylee or taking her to the park or dropping her off at friends houses. Cindy probably knew the truth of her daughter being an un-employed partier, but chose to perpetuate that Casey was more than that to her friends and neighbors……

I think that Casey had a fight with her Mother and moved out the next day. Mom Cindy wasn’t home when Casey left and both Mom and George thought that Caylee would be back in a couple days, once reality set in. (George probably didn’t allow Casey to take any of Caylee’s belongings, except for some clothes).

Casey stole her Mom’s credit card to live on because without a job or savings, how could she sustain herself or Caylee???

The borrowed shovel incident took place in the month of June and friend Tara reports talking to Casey and hearing Caylee’s voice on 6/24/08. So, Caylee probably disappeared sometime between 6/24/08 and 6/30/08. Casey’s blog on 7/7/08 reveals that everyone has to die sometime…..

Casey meantioned that the “Nanny” (pseudoname for herself) took Caylee to the amusement park and ocean. A good psychiatrist could get Casey to talk about the “Nanny” and perhaps learn more about what she and Caylee did before Caylee’s disappearance……

  390. worried Says:

    OH Maven,
Very well put. My only question is…weren’t the grandparents out of town at some point during the month of June? I’m curious, b/c the cadaver (sp.??) dogs picked up on a scent not only in the trunk of the car, but in the grandparents’ back yard (according to news). So, is it plausible that Casey left Caylee alone at the grandparents’ home while they were out of town and went out (on her manic high, in my opinion) and came back to find the toddler had died in back yard, put her in back of vehicle then borrowed shovel from neighbor to burry her god only know where? Does that sound far-fetched??? Police and FBI must have gone thru phone records at this point and found where she was over the timeline. My guess is they’re close to finding out what happend…or maybe just hopeful.
Oh, and my comment to Casey telling friends she was at the “Nanny’s” was not only an obvious lie, but possibly a way to make herself appear “rich” (for lack of a better word) since she had no jobby-job and was seeking the approval of her new boyfriend and group of friends. Just a thought.

  391. Shauncey Says:

    Donna,
Ass face?? You wanna punch her until “one of us falls asleep”???
You just had me crack up hella LOUD!! Loved your post. And I knew you’d agree with me about her being a whore. This whole case is just making me sick to my stomach. Nothing else matters right now but finding Caylee. After that, then we’ll deal with this lying, slutty uncaring whore-of-a-mother Casey.

  392. Lavonna Says:

No Shauncey Donna said “shit assface”! That was hilarious… I think Donna must be a close friend of Shauncey because she gets riled up just like you.

  393. Lavonna Says:

should have read that I *thought Donna

  394. Donna Says:

LOL…Ladies, I’m just full of rage! I think we all agree this bitch needs a daily “beatdown” . I can’t understand this freak. I think a few kicks to the temple or her mouth she’ll be talken.

  395. Angela Says:

I am curious…if they have the test results back from the trunk, why didn’t they charge her with murder? Were the tests negative for the presence of decomp and Caylee’s hair? She is sitting in jail for felony neglect…that means she can walk in less than a month. If there is no proof of that baby being in the trunk dead then WHY continue to hold her? What will happen if Caylee shows up at her birthday party?

  396. Lavonna Says:

HAHA Donna I think you are correct on that.. She is about my size, I could take her :-)

Uh Angela your question of what happens if Caylee shows up at her birthday party? UH I would say “Thank you Jesus, Thank you Lord” and then demanded answers.

  397. Amy Says:

This entire case makes my stomach turn. I feel horrible for the investigators who have to deal with Casey… how frustrating it must be!

Now, I am not a computer/web page expert, but there is something that bothers me about Casey’s myspace page (http://www.myspace.com/cayleeismissing). When I signed up for myspace, it made it a point to tell me that once I picked my URL name, I would NEVER be able to change that name. If you go to the site and click on view all blogs, you will see that the web site was created almost 2 years ago. Why name it “cayleeismissing”? It just bothers me…

  398. kay Says:

    ok girls,
did you catch nancy grace last night?
i thought that was very interesteing to see the expressions on nancy’s face when grandma cindy called in to talk to her.
she did not buy that story at all….and she nailed her good on those recent pictures……….my husband even had to stop and wtch that part when he heard her talking to cindy. it was funny………….they honestly believe that she is coming home this week. and the part where lee told the rpess that they threw those toys that someone donated to caylee inthe dumpster because they smelled of cigarette smoke…..i can understand the not smoking thing and not wanting them in your house to contaminate it but throwing them away………..they could have donated them to the good will or shelter or something like that. some kids would be very proud to have a used toy to play with……..that really made me mad at this family. i have 9 grandkids and every year for christmas i take one of their gifts that i had bought them for christmas and take it over to this place called noah’s ark. a shelter for abused kids. and i make the gift from that child. trying to teach them that there are kids out there that are not as fortunate as they are and they need some special love from them.
that really makes mad they did that

  399. OH Maven Says:

I think the entire Anthony family suffers from Delusions of
Grandeur. Just look at how Lee and George have solicited for Personal Assistants (no compensation given, yeah right!) and asking for checks, money, gift cards to Target and Wallmart. I find that the be very strange. Cigarette
smoke can be taken out of anything, with this hint from Heloise: Place the item in a closet and put a bucket of water with 1-2 cups of vinegar. Keep the closet closed for a couple of days, then presto, the smoke smell will disappear!!!

I got ahold of the police report the night that Crazy was arrested. There are some interesting tidbits in there! Apparently she moved in with boyfriend Tony on June 9th, the same day she and Caylee left her parents house. Caylee was last seen alive on June 15th at great-grandpa’s party at the old folks home. Who had Caylee during these 6 days????? Or did Crazy keep her during the day, drive her back to the grandparent’s house and let her sleep there by herself? This is a missing piece of the puzzle.

Someone said that the parents have a swimming pool. It could be the kind that is connected to the house. Maybe Caylee got up and went swimming and drowned. Crazy didn’t want to destroy her Rich girl/good mother reputation, so she put her in the trunk until she could figure out what to do with the body?????? The one thing that is certain is that Casey was relieved to be a Mom and that the only person she seems to care about (other than herself) is her boyfriend of two months – Tony!!!!!!

  401. kay Says:

the swimming pool is an above ground (i have one just like it) but it is not attached to the house. (mine is and we have a lock on the very top of the door so grandbabies can’t get out without us being there with them).
i thought that myself wondering is she did something like that too…………….

  402. kay Says:

i jsut seen an interview with this stinky attorney and he said tht his case would look relly good if they could find caylee….so he has started his own investigating into trying to fing caylee himself…………..i think he might be tired of these antics from his CLIENT…………………

  403. Angela Says:

Why do they believe she is coming home for her birthday? This family has made me so tired, but so have the investigators. They say the testing is done, that they have Caylee’s DNA (but won’t say how they obtained it), but they haven’t charged Casey with murder! They say “she knows what she did”, but aren’t charging her with anything! That tells me that the test results showed nothing significant. I hate the thought that this freak may get away with it, but there sure is a whole lot of nothing going on. What a freak show.

  404. Donna Says:

Angela, welcome back. I hope you enjoyed yourself.
I thought the same thing about the test results. I’m hoping they got them back after the charges were made. They might still need to test what they find against what they have with Caylee’s DNA… I’m hoping anyway. I still hope this little girl is alive. I would gladly eat my horrible words.
Even if they dont taste as sweet going down as they did coming up. In any case I would still love to give miss thing or aka whore a proper beatdown.

  405. Shauncey Says:

I saw Nancy Grace last night and was disgusted all over again. First: the whore Casey who couldn’t come with any answers when grandma was asking her questions. I just don’t understand how she figures in her sick mind that she is helping her child some way. How do you refuse to say where your daughter is? Then the whack job/grandma states Casey doesn’t know where Caylee is. It’s my understanding that she DID know where Caylee was, now she doesn’t. Ok. This whore has showed no remorse whatsoever, and that in itself is what pisses me off and makes me sick.
Second: Nancy’s interview with whack job/grandma. I promise if they put that woman on TV again, (which I know they will) I will pull my hair out by the roots. Her comment, “Get off your asses and find my grandchild” was at the very least bad acting. I heard with my very own ears, her say on the 911 call, “It smells like a damn dead body in that trunk”. You CANNOT explain that away. The world heard what she said. The toothpaste is outta the tube, and there’s not a defense lawyer in the country who can get it back in. Moving on….. The so-called family friend/former babysitter, who tries to shed Casey in a “loving mother” light. Fornately, the public is just not buying it. It’s very hard to when you see porn-like pictures of Casey shaking her ass and feeling up some chick, looking like a child-murdering bi-sexual sociopath, live and in color. (the strip pole does nothing for her reputation). Then to top off all the bs, you state Caylee will be home for her birthday, giving people like us HOPE. It’s just too much for me to comprehend. And last but not least, the grandpa/ex-cop, who “forgets” what a dead body smells like. This case has me emotionally and mentally drained. I need to go meditate.

  406. Angela Says:

Oh, so Cindy thinks it’s OUR job to find Caylee???????? Well granny-mouth, I suppose that if your skanky, lying, whore of a daughter were as concerned about her daughter, as she is in protecting her own behind, that we would be more than happy to do your job for you! That way you can devote more time to defending your daughter’s utter nastiness, and paying that greaseball defense attorney to make sure Casey keeps her mouth shut. NO PROBLEM…WE HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO DO!

  407. Angela Says:

    Shauncey~
I think you meant MEDICATE…we could all use some Valium right about now.

  408. Lavonna Says:

Valium, like the size of a football? :-)

  409. worried Says:

Can’t believe psycho-grannie is HAPPY that her daughter was charged yesterday! I think that she and grandpa know that the murder charges are coming. I don’t think I would want the FBI on this case if I were any of them. I’m sure they’re building quite a case right now. …Why is it that Lee is always laughing? Are they ALL bi-polar?!

  410. Andrea Says:

Now the media is reporting that a Zenaida Gonzalez didn’t visit the Sawgrass Apartments in April like first reported, that the 4 in the date for April really is a 6, so that makes her visit to the apartments in June. Does that mean that perhaps Casey visited under an alias and filled this card out? OK, I could buy that, but didn’t LE say they called the phone number on that visitor/guestcard and reached a Zenaida and interviewed her?

Also, if they have the DNA results, or at the least, some of them back and no murder charges were filed, does that mean that they do not have evidence of decomposition or that Caylee had been in the trunk area?

What if and I stress the “if”, Casey is telling somewhat of the truth. That Cayless is indeed close and ok. There’s something just really strange about this case, besides the obvious strangeness, of course. I can’t put my finger on it, and perhaps again it is just my heartfelt hope that Caylee is still alive, but it just doesn’t feel right. Maybe she was threatened…maybe someone threatened Caylee and therefore Casey did give Caylee to someone for protection. I know, it’s a longshot, but you have to agree that something is really weird about this case, the family’s actions and reactions, etc.

Could some of the evidence found, even the cadaver dog alerts, be some sort of bluff on part of the LE. Certainly they had reason to believe that Casey had done something to Caylee because of the outright lies and misleading information given. I know that the police often go out on a limb to bluff but I’m wondering if they’d go this far?

I’d like to know where Casey’s grandmother is….I suspect her grandfather was the man shown in the father’s day footage of Caylee, but if you look at Casey’s comment on myspace to Lee, she spoke to her grandparents pretty frequently, even mentioning the grandmother emailing her at some point. That was within 2yrs of now that leads me to believe that atleast the grandmother is pretty coherent (I assumed that maybe grandparents would be too elderly, etc) and possibly could have Caylee? Again, a longshot…but if Caylee is with anyone and it’s for her own protection it would have to be someone very trusted and out of the limelight….we have not seen anyone from the Anthony family, other than the keyplayers, George, Cindy and Lee.

What do you guys think? Do you wonder about the lack of murder charges? Also the length of time it took to get the DNA results back, since I’ve seen Michael Baden and another wellknown pathologist say that for some of those results, it could have taken only a couple days, at the most. I wonder if they got the results back and are now at a standstill because there is no real tangible evidence that something ominous has happened to Caylee.

Am I just being a too hopeful mother wishing for a great outcome to such a sad case? I’m bewildered.

    Lavonna & Angela,
Your right, medicate. I need that volume AND a shot of patron. For them to say they are not releasing info on Caylee’s father because he didn’t know Caylee EXISTED is just too much, way over my head. I wonder what else they will say to make them look even dumber than they already do. Poor Caylee. No one in her family seems mentally STABLE. They’re all crazy, and I’ve just about HAD it with their bulls**t. I repeat, I’d like just 2 minutes alone with Casey. I would permnately r
