I have known Lucy and her family for 20yrs… Lucy was like my sister and my heart is in agony over what this man did to her and their kids……
To anyone who reads this who knows them or would like to offer your support they are having a car wash to raise money for the funeral and for the kids on Saturday 7-19-08 at Pizza Hut on 10th Street West in Lancaster. Please show your support and give your love cuz GOD only knows the family needs all that they can get.

I met Lucy when she was a lil girl she used to babysit my daughter Alexis and my daughter loved staying the night at lucy’s house. This very sad, I will pray for the children who witness this animal kill their mother. They will need help to cope with this horrible crime which they witness. I’m so sorry that the innocent children and mother suffered this way. I’m live in Louisiana and they need to post his pitcure up more. I had to find this blog to be able to see what he looked like. We need support to help find this creep and his pitcure posted so we can catch him fast!

No they haven’t caught him but they got the van in POMONA which is no surprise to any of us and there is a posting from EL Paso that he was spotted in Chaparral, New Mexico. Probably headed for the Jaurez border.

I still can’t believe it! She was my best friend, but also my sister-in-law, n that baster is my half bro. Can’t believe he did that. She was a good friend and a great mother. Two weeks ago we celebrated the b-day of her children and she was so happy, we all were. Now, I have no one to tell all my secrets to know. This story has consumed my thoughts. I am so saddened by the thought of what these lchildren witnessed. Especially the two oldest children. I don’t even know this family but I wish I could hug all of her children right now and just take care of them for the rest of my life. Please post a secure P.O Box in which we can donate. I want to make sure that all of the money I can donate goes to the care of these children. Maybe a trust fund can be set up and mentioned on the news so that everyone can hear. Thank you.

This is your cousin from the north. It’s been so long since we’ve seen eachother but I will always remember us playing. Me, you, and Jr. hanging out and getting into trouble. I heard about this yesterday all the way in Maryland while driving to work. The 911 call was heart wrenching, and I hope the kids are okay. I can’t imagine what they must be going through.

I’ve known Lucy and Juan for bout 11yrs. I went to high school, hung out with them on a day to day basis. I would of never imagine this horrific death on Lucy, never!!! I pray that her family will stay strong during this time.

I would highly recommend to anyone that wishes to make a donation for the sake of the children, to deposit any funds directly into a bank account and NOT send funds to any family member. Unfortunately, these type of situations always bring out the worst in people and the money may not be used the way the donor intends it to be used. Look at what happened with all of the donations for Katrina victims. I just heard on the news that the Antelope Valley Bank has a trust account set up for the children. If you truly want to help out the children, that would probably be the best place to make your donations. May God provide the peace that this family needs right now, that he provide someone that will truly care for the children and that they get the counseling they will obviously need to get through this horrible trauma. And may the Lord guide anyone that knows the whereabouts of this killer to do the right thing and turn him into the authorities.

Me & Lucy were best friends for a long time, but I haven’t spoken to her for a couple of years because of chuey. I always knew chuey was off, but I never would have thought he would go this far. I really wish I could have been able to talk to Lucy during those years that we lost touch, but I can’t take back time or she would still be here and Chuey would’ve been gone along time ago. There’s honestly haven’t been a day that goes by I haven’t thought of her and all the good times we had together. We had some really really good times, we never fought or got mad at each other because she always made me smile. She was a fun person to be around and she will always be in my heart and always be my best friend. Her kids had gotten so big since the last time I seen them! Their so beautiful and Marina looks just like her, those kids will always be in my prayers and I hope to see them soon. As far as Chuey goes that bastard will pay for what he did! No matter how far he runs or good he can hide there’s 1 person he can’t get away from and thats GOD! He knows what he did and no matter how much he would try to change his life around GOD seen what happened and he won’t forget. I will search the rest of my life for Chuey until he is found no matter where I have to go. I live in Bakersfield and we threw Lucy & her kids a car wash on Saturday July 19th, it turned out really good. We had volunteer’s that didn’t even know her, but wanted to help & of course we had some of her friends who loved her and want to make sure her kids are taken care of. We contacted the news (KGET 17)out here about Lucy and they came and did an interview with me and they also showed up at the car wash and did another interview with our friend Syria ( who has also been working really hard ). Were are making sure that eveyone up North knows about how great of a person Lucy was, how her children were affected by this and support for them and most of all How we need to catch Chuey and put him in a cage like the animal he is. It’s just a matter of time before he’s caught and when he is he’ll pay for what he did! I just want to say to her kids and her family again if there’s anything I can do please call me no matter what day or time I’m just a phone call away. We, the family and friends, want to thank everyone for your love and support and it will never be forgotten. The car wash at Pizza Hut had a amazing turnout and the donations that were given were unbelievable. Lucy’s kids were so extremely happy to see all the support that was given for them and their mother. The day was HOT and everyone involved walked away burned but it was ALL sooo worth it.
To Sympathizer- I am not sure who you are and and from the sounds of it doesn’t seem like your someone who knows the family but you’re correct about the trust fund set up under the kids names that was set up by them, the grandparents, for the Preciado kids. However, there was another bank account that was opened prior to them which was not approved by the family which has now been straightened out and will no longer remain open. The address is the parents address and was told and given approval by the parents to post their address until the account was opened along with people wanted to donate clothes, toys and flowers which obviously has nothing to do with the bank. The proceeds ARE going to the kids and only the kids. For what these kids have endured and the pain and agony that they are feeling they deserve nothing less. So please I am sure you mean well but I post the truth and nothing else and if you have any questions ask me.

Thank you for your information. You are correct in that I do not know the family, but I have worked with many families that have been affected by an act of violence, and although many people have good intentions, there are those that take advantage of a situation. That was why I suggested that funds – not “clothes, toys and flowers” – be deposited directly into a bank account that would be for the children.
At no time did I intend to offend anyone, especially those closest to the family, who obviously have the children’s best interests in mind. My only intention was to dissuade funds that should go to the children from being misdirected.
Anyone could come on this or any site and post fictitious information and the donor would not even know it. From reading the messages posted, you are “like a sister”, aside from that, there is no indication that your are related or even representing the family or the children. I also “post the truth and nothing else” and I do not have any questions to ask of you.

She is also considered to be a part of their family. So if anybody has any false information to give it is not Amanda! I was very sad to hear about Lucy. Me and my brother grew up with Lucy And her brother Mike. My heart goes out to All the family and friends of Lucy. I can really relate to what the family is going threw My cousin got killed by her Boyfriend of many years. I will never understand why things like this happen. This is a sad lost, I been reading about it on the L.A. Times, hearing her daughter on the 911 call was devasting, its affected me in so many ways, I could just imagine her 4 children specially the older ones and her family and friends. I’m sorry for your great lost to everyone who loved Lucy, from what I seen and heard she was loved by many. Amanda thanks for posting the trust fund, her little ones will be taken care of thanks to all the support of the family, friends and community, although there’s bad people in this world theres more good and its a good feeling to see this. It would be nice if someone would write about Lucy and her kids, what kind of mom she was and what type of person she was, and of course about her four children, although this monster took her from us her legacy could go on. It really shows what kind of man he was, actually I take that back he is not a man, he is more like a coward running away from the kaos that he left.

I do not want to be know, I do not know this poor soul. The police if they have not caught him are just sad, the police do not know how to do their jobs.I have experienced this first hand with the death of my brother. I on the other hand think that if the community pulls together, for example Luis Molina, if you are this guys cousin where does the rest of his relatives live and you must know where this lowlife is or you could help find him. I have helped police departments outside of this state to solve murders. Being able to see a vision isn’t something that alot of people believe in, but I know that luis molina could help find this scumbag. I see him still here, in visions not real time. Wake up police department quit being the criminals and start protecting and serving.
