Closure, at last. So very sad, all the fathers and mothers killing their kids. Is it on the increase, or was it just less VISIBLE before?

The mother had applied for a protective order and was fearful of the situation. Her concerns were not acted upon, just like many other mothers who try to protect themselves and their children only to find that they are accused of being liers and are chastsed and vilified over RIGHTFUL concern. Domestic violence is an epidemic. Statistics from The Violence Policy Center’s recent study, American Roulette show alarming statistics that males are responsible for over 90% of domestic violence related deaths.

I went to the funeral today July 19, 2008. I am very touched by the whole situation. I can’t say that I will ever know how the mom feels. I do know the pain that comes from losing a loved one. I know that time will heal her heart. I know that if she surrounds herself with family and friends, that she will be okay. I do know that it is okay to cry. My thoughts are with the family and friends of T. J.
