Want to know how many times I’ve wanted to run over my son’s dad and couldn’t?? Plenty. We just can’t give into these urges. Unless she feard for her LIFE, she should never have done this. RIP Shawn. I will pray for your family. I hope she gets whats coming to her.
Shawn was a great, sweet person and he loved his family he always stuck out and look at the results…Why does this happen to great people…why?……
We love you Shawn and we will miss you !!!
Shawn was a good friend, he and I, and others served in the military together. we were all stationed together for a couple of years in San Diego. We had some fun times, we lost contact for awhile but just recently got back in touch, he was a good Marine. Condolences to his family(kids) RIP brother. you will be missed. “D”
My head is down, thinking prayers for the family. We always think accidents are accidents, but the higher power of God, knows When. Embrace the loved ones we have daily. Could have hugged my friend once again, and I told him I loved him on the phone. But never realize the person we last talked too, is and was the last time we talked. high school GHS of 88, nm. we were veterans. NASNI,ca.
I still remember his laugh and him calling me up at work and saying “hey buddy o pal” when he needed a favor… He always had my back to when I needed his help. My coworkers and I will miss him so much. He was such a dedicated coworker and family man. We know that for a fact!
We Love you Shawn. We know your in the Lords hands now…
Shawn was a great man. Always dedicated to his work. He took in Yolanda and three of her kids. He wanted to walk away so many times before, but stuck with it this long. He did not deserve this. I got back from Iraq in August, recently been wondering about their whereabouts. My sister called me today and told me she saw this on the news. I couldnt believe it. Its emotional. My kids knew their kids. We often hung out together to dinners, etc. She in no doubt was very jealous, insecure, and obsessed over him. Shawn you will be missed and god bless to your family. -LA-
Shawn was a very good fren and a brother. An awesome father to his kids and his wife’s kids. So sad to loss a fren in such a tragedy. He had so much to live for. So many years ahead to spend his life with his kids and family. But sadly, it was cut short due to his short-fused, cold-hearted wife. Why? Why?….is a question that we asked, but will there ever be an answer? Doubt it…
We would like to send our condolences and prayers to his kids and family. We will all surpass this difficult and hard time. He will forever hold a special place in our heart. RIP brother and fren. You will be greatly missed…we salute you for all you’ve done. Thank you and we love you!
*sniffles*
Shawn, where ever you are, people had made a good comment on you. Family, friends and people that have been close to you loved you dearly. Your Auntie Cindy
There are no words in the world that will comfort or soothe the family at this critical time in life. But my prayers and love go out to the family and loved ones of Shawn. Unfortunately, I have seen adversities betroth this family, but, yet, they have overcome them and I am in awe! The Family stand united, a very tight-knit family, not to mention a loving one at that. Shawn will be greatly missed and all that we have in the end are beautiful, wonderful memories of him. May his soul rest in peace and those that are left behind not falter or wither because of grief, but to go on in life and live it the best that we can. He would have wanted that for everyone. Shawn, you are loved and will forever remain in our hearts!

To Shawn’s family & kids,
My sympathy & heart goes out to you all. May you find comfort in your Faith & God. Heard bout’ what happened to Shawn just this week. I know, it took awhile. Shawn’s friends from Rehoboth High School are shocked and saddened from this news. I met & went to school w/ Shawn while he was at Rehoboth. I remember him as completely cool w/ a nice family. Hopefully, other friends from Rehoboth find this site & add some more good words about Shawn and type some great memories he left with all of his friends. He was sooo funny, one time in class, when he sat by me we use to munch on sunflower seeds…I never forgot the way he ate his sunflower seeds & to this day, have tried to figure out how he did each seed the way he did. Its hard to explain but man! Never met any other person like him & there never will be – Shawn was awesome in his own way. Did not have it in his heart to harm anyone except if you made him angry but it took alot to reach that point but it was like him to tell you like it was & it was over with-he was done dealing with you. No great person deserves what had happened to Shawn. Shawn, your family will be in my prayers. Your friend ~ Roxy from Rehoboth
My condolences to Shawn’s family as well. May his beautiful personality and bravery be passed onto his children. I too knew Shawn since the 7th grade at Rehoboth Christian. He was a fun and lovable guy. He was “our” rocker back in the day. God Bless you Shawn as we find our comfort in knowing that you are in eternal peace. And for what this person did to you, I hope she realizes that whatever punishment she recieved here on this temporary earth is nothing compared to what she will face on Judgement Day.
