Seriously this is just tragic, if the cops had said they were cops it might not have ended such a bad way. I think this is like one of those friendly-fire incidents, its tragic, but can you blame the cops totally? The problem today is guns are so accessible even the cops are usually under powered to deal with criminals. Now this man was NOT a criminal and I totally sympathize with the family. I no its hard for me to comprehend the anger and hurt his family feel. I also see the fear and stress police are under, they usually fire away like this because they feel if I don’t fire, I will die. Most cops will tell you this. I don’t know who to side with, my gut says blame the cops, can’t you just fire warning shots and say I am a cop, STOP. I also understand the cops fear of if I don’t shoot I will die. I don’t know what to say but this is tragic. Condolences to the families.

Basically the police f**cked up BIG time on this one. “friendly fire incident”? I don’t think so. And to add insult to injury, there is NO cover-up. They ALL swept this under the carpet PUBLICALLY. I would not be suprised if this started a riot. (shades of Rodney King) This is not about race. This is about cold-blooded murder. These cops used their “license to kill” in the most inappropiate way. Who is going to pay for this young man’s murder?? No one??

They gave the case to that 70 year old judge from the K*k*k Era for him to do just that..rule in favor of the cops.
And those black cops who go along to get along, they should be lynched. I have this to say to those white cops (kkk) members hanging out in the police department. Stop slaughtering our young black males, turn the gun on yourself and on your kids.

How could you justify shooting unarmed people 50 times? I understand not shooting a warning shot ( you don’t know where the bullet would land), but they should have at least identified thmselves as the police. They got away with this in mans court, but they will definitely answer for this in GOD’s Court! My deep,deep sympathy for the family of Sean Bell, his fiance, and children. This is in now way over!
