I hope the mother gets the same as the stepfather. She is the reason this little girl died. She should have been protecting her but she allowed it to continue.
I think they both should be thrown around, heads dunked in cold water. They should have to use the kitty litter and give them little food so they both lose weight down to 45 each and then kill them. They deserve no less.

I think some mothers are just stupid, retarded women that are only concern about having a man. I don’t understand why but they put theirselves before the welfare of the children and that is wrong. I truly hope that she pays the same price that SOB pays.

I understand that some people have beliefs that urge them to oppose the dath penalty. Those people need to wake up. Deterrent factor aside, sometimes capital punishment for someone like Cesar is necessary because they have chosen to forfiet their right to live simply by being the piece of s&*t that they are. I hope this guy gets raped with broken glass in the shower.

I am starting to favor the death penalty, we need to rid this land of the bad seed. I feel that if someone without a doubt killed someone in cold blood then they should die and they should be killed the same way they murdered.

I hope both rot in jail. For them, death would be the easy way out. Let them sit in a prison till they drop dead. The problem is that our laws are designed to protect the parents, NOT the child. If Nixzmary had been removed at school or been taken out of the home for one hour, the abuse would have been documented, she would never have gone home and she would be somewhere safe. It is our duty to protect our children and we need to give our agencies and teachers the power to actually protect children. Instead, the agencies have to be sure to protect the parents rights. Who protected hers?

After reading stories like this, it is hard for me to believe there is any higher power in the universe. Allowing these sub-humans to be on this planet and do this to a child is something that a real God would not allow.

I agree with Lavonna. Let these POS suffer as Nixzmary suffered. Until they die. We hear so much about warring neighbors calling Child-Youth Protective Services as a personal vendetta; those who lie about child abuse should be in jail because they take time and resources away from real cases of abuse like this. People who are unable to control themselves should not have children and should be encouraged to give their children before it comes to this. Any one of us would have been glad to help Nixzmary Brown and little Riley, aka “Baby Grace,” if we had only known.

This is one of the most tragic cases I have ever read about. I pray that the justice system works as it should and these two people are punished to the fullest extent of the law. I DO believe in the death penalty, for a number of reasons. It is just, for one thing, especially in a case like this. But on the other hand, I can’t see this country exhausting our tax dollars, wasting funds supporting SCUM like this for 40 or 50 years, giving them 3 meals a day, protection (however limited), medical care, television, a library, and whatever other things they get when they are in a federal prison. After taxpayers spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on each of these trials, I believe that spending $1.89 on a lethal injection is much more cost-effective.
We are in a unique position today, thanks to the technologies that we have available today. We can now virtually eliminate “reasonable doubt” in our trials. And in a case such as this one, where there is no doubt whatsoever who the perpetrator of the of the crime is, what is the point of spending all of this money? Why drag the families of the victims through all of this? I understand the need for our judicial system, and I have a great respect for it, but I don’t believe that taxpayers (including the VICTIMS and families of victims of the crimes) should be paying for the incarceration, maintenance, feeding, and healthcare of the perpetrators of these vicious crimes. We are working against ourselves.

Amen, why should we the taxpayers have to keep them up. The cost of lethal injection is much cheaper but it should be given to them after the family has done to them what they did to the victims. Don’t we have enough freeloaders to take care of than to give these monsters anything including air?

Great point. I know it pisses me off that we have to pay for these creeps to survive once in prison or jail. And the victims’ families DO end up contributing to keeping these animals alive who killed their loved ones.

I had been avoiding reading this story because I saw this beautiful little girl in her power ranger halloween costume. So innocent and cute. My son is the same age he was a power ranger last year and I knew something horrific had happened to her. Im so damn angry now I just don’t understand how people can treat their children their own flesh and blood this way. The Pig’s responsible had the nerve to try and make it seem she was just an unruley child. I don’t know how their lawyers can stand to defend them. these scumbags aren’t fit to breath the same air as the rest of us and I hope they suffer and suffer and suffer for what they did to this child and whatever else they may have done to the other 5 children.
