I saw on Nancy Grace where she was found.. Sad that a woman can’t go hiking by herself. I pray for the family and friends.

Its sad to know that you cant even go out and enjoy the outdoors alone. Even if you have a dog with you for protection, you still have to watch out for crazy people out there just looking for innocent women like Meredith. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends. I think thats every womans worst nightmareto be out alone, and something like that happen to htem, and every families nightmare to know that your will never see that person again, and the only closer is to know that she was found and that the person who was responsible is convicted and put away for life!

A tragedy like this makes me change my anti death penalty feelings.
Is there anything else that a monster like GMH deserves? Not life in prison. Death, and a quickly administered one. This is a matter of justice and closure, not revenge.

It’s simply outrageous that a woman cannot go hiking on her own or with her dog, it just brings the reality that no matter what you do, where you go, it could be the most innocent thing, a truly mundane thing or place, there is always a risk of crossing paths with a killer or rapist. What should we do to protect ourselves from these bad creatures that hunt people to do mean things and end their lives? Unfortunately there are many Gary Hilton’s out there, some are visibly unstable and weird, some are just like your favorite neighboor. These are truly difficult and trying times we are living. I pray to God to ease the pain in her mom’s and family hearts…

My family is praying for Meredith’s family. I am so sorry for their loss. There is nothing I can say to relieve them of the pain they are feeling. But I do think we should all pray for her family. They are going to need it more now than ever.

GMH does not deserve to live. Although I don’t know Meredith I can’t stop thinking about what this porr girl went thru with this scum bag. I wish I could take it upon myspelf to punish him…I may many ideas. The sick SOB! I am sick to my stomach for the family and friends of Meredith who have to suffer such pain. DAMN HIM! Rot in HELL you piece of crap!

I ran into that whacko on a trail at Murphy Candler Park this past year. He surprised me and actually came up on me from behind. Actually told me “I should be carefull in the woods” He was a grumpy bizarre guy. Talked with him for several minutes. Glad to know hes off the streets.

I found bones today. I took it to a DR., who referred me to the coroner. will ID, and let me know something later. It was near area ,I referred to two days ago. I made a welfare check on a widow, that lives down the street about a mile. She lives alone and is very courageous, but I wasn’t sure how she was dealing with this incident. She and a neighbor, walk Afton Rd to the abandoned house, on a regular basis.
Her dog, brought the bone from an adjacent field, ironic huh. I saw the little dog with the big bone out the window, and intercepted it. There’s alot of roadkill around this time of year, but this wasn’t deer. Dr. said it apeared to be forearm, don’t know?
MRS> E.: widow said her sister that lives 1/2 mile away saw a flashlight in the woods behind her house when Hilton was here. She said it was shining in the trees. Also Mrs. E., said she heard a woman scream 5 or 6 years ago up on the Indian mound adjacent to her house, just thought it was campers…
